The Best Venue

This was one of the most accommodating, professional, and Amazing venues that I've experienced. Responsiveness was Amazing the property was whimsical. Anything I needed they provided for my wedding party. Katelin, Christa, and the staff that was assigned to our contract was superb.

The best place to get married!

This venue is absolutely STUNNING with so much space (both indoors and outdoors). Not only is the venue wonderful but the staff were absolutely amazing. We are forever grateful for them. Our original plan was to have our ceremony outdoors and our reception under the big tent that has concrete flooring. Only sideways rain could really impact our reception under that big tent … and well there were 80mph winds/rain an hour prior to our ceremony that caused our reception decor/tables/dance floor/stage/etc to get completely soaked or damaged. I was having a ~meltdown~ wondering how we would recover from that but their staff did not hesitate and asked no questions and started helping us figure out ways to clean up//redo the set up. They are so kind and caring and we could not done it without them. Our wedding day was perfect in its own way and Tennessee RiverPlace definitely played a major role in that.

Beautiful!!

My fiancé and I toured this venue a few days ago and fell in love! I’d been doing a lot of research online and TN RiverPlace was actually our second venue tour. We knew it was going to be our spot the moment we got there so we cancelled all the other ones we had set up. You have to go see it in person! Very reasonably priced and Vio is extremely helpful and professional. We’re so excited to get married here next year!

We did a tour of the property from 5,000 miles away

I don’t live anywhere close to this venue, but the staff was able to show my future mother-in-law around the property, as well stay in contact with me throughout the process. The staff was extremely flexible and willing to work with my fiancé and I as we choose our wedding venue, while both of us are away.

Gorgeous Wedding Venue

This is the most beautiful wedding venue, and the staff is amazing. The location is jaw dropping and it is very versatile with all the different areas. There's a permanent tent in case of rain and the inside is nice and cool for a hot day. Guests couldn't stop talking about how gorgeous it was, and it made my wedding a dream!!

Beyound beautiful

This place is very very beautiful! I fell in love with it the moment i arrived for my tour! The river and the mountain view in the back ground compliments the buliding very well!

Tennessee RiverPlace is honestly your dream venue. Hands down, no question. It is the most gorgeous venue in Chattanooga, without even needing any decoration. The staff is second to none and never make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them. Truly, it was the first place I saw, only venue visited, no hesitation or regret on immediately choosing it.

My wife and I just had our wedding here this past weekend and everything went so smoothly. The venue is absolutely beautiful, even though the weather didn't exactly cooperate! I love the fact that the tent stays up permanently and there isn't any extra charge to have to use it or change plans or layouts due to rain. The bridal and grooms suites were great, they worked with our day of coordinator really well, and worked with us to find a good time for the rehearsal the day before, even though there was another wedding going on that day.

Tennessee RiverPlace was the BEST venue for our wedding!! First off, it's drop-dead gorgeous. The mountain-looking backdrop and the fields were just perfect for our style. The venue itself is so pretty and decorated so well that you hardly have to think much about additional decorations. I personally LOVE strung lights, and the whole venue is covered in them, so that was a huge selling point for me. It made all our night pictures look very cool! Vio is great - she responded within minutes most times I emailed her, and was more than accommodating with everything we wanted to do and answering our questions. When you book here, you get 10 hours at the venue, and no other weddings happen on the same day, which is a great value considering so many other places only let you have a few hours for even more money. The bridal suite was huge (which was great, considering I had 7 bridesmaids!) and has plenty of lighting and mirrors for everyone to get ready. They were extremely professional, helpful, and I can't recommend them enough! It was a perfect venue for our day.

The most beautiful spot for a wedding. We could not have been more pleased with Vio, and her staff and (praise the Lord) excellent weather! Thank you Tennessee RiverPlace for having us! It was a day we will never forget!

I loved this place the minute I saw it. I knew I wanted somewhere that has lots of rolling land with a mountain backdrop when I was engaged, so when I saw this place, it was perfect. Vio was super helpful from beginning to the end, whenever I had questions she would respond within a day of me emailing her. This made planning a wedding from out of town a lot easier for me. Not to mention they give you pretty much the whole day to use, and I had time the day before to decorate the place, so there was no stressing about decorations the day of. Everything went off perfectly the day of and they have no problem when I had to add extra chairs because I had more people than planned coming. Highly recommended!!

We would definitely recommend Tennessee RiverPlace! We couldn't have picked a better place and a more welcoming staff. Vio was with us throughout the whole process, she was very prompt in responding and extremely flexible with scheduling times for us and our vendors to go visit the venue prior to our wedding date. Working with Vio and her staff was unbelievably easy. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very accommodating to our every need. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and they do a great job with making sure it stays that way. 11 out of 10 stars!

Fantastic!!! Our wedding was beautiful all thanks to Vio and her crew! I would recommend this venue to anyone. It is a little pricier but it is totally worth every penny. Location was perfect and the view behind our ceremony was wonderful.

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding! The Tennessee RiverPlace is breathtakingly beautiful, perfectly situated right on the river, and has so much space for guests to roam. We spread our wedding out over the whole venue except for the tent, but it was nice to know that we had plans A, B, and C for bad weather. The venue is so gorgeous it really doesn't require a lot of decoration. They provided the chairs and tables we needed since we weren't having a huge wedding, and the bridal/groom suites were spacious and also provided a great backdrop for photos before our first look. In case you have kids at your wedding there's also a swing and cornhole for guests to play if they get bored at any point. The staff was accommodating and the event manager was quick to reply to my emails leading up to the wedding. While there may be cheaper venues in town, this place is definitely worth every penny because it is wanting for nothing! Our ceremony and reception went completely smoothly and we had guests telling us it was the best wedding they'd ever attended. We can't think of a single complaint we have for the venue. Luckily, we live nearby so we get to visit and reminisce in the future.

First off, the location is absolutely gorgeous!! We heard from several of our friends and family about how beautiful the setting was! Vio, the manager, was fantastic to work with as well! Because we live out of town, it was difficult to get everyone (myself, my spouse, my parents) to visit at one time, but Vio was more than accommodating to let us view the location when we were in town. I was also very surprised at how reasonable the pricing was! I had seen the venue online and loved it but was afraid it would be out of our price range. Surprisingly, it was cheaper than many of the other similar venues in the area...and much prettier in my opinion :) The fact that they allow outside vendors was also a HUGE plus! Being able to choose our own caterers/vendors helped us personalize our wedding and saved us quite a bit of money.

My husband and I loved this venue! The location is beautiful and it was a great spot to hold both ceremony and reception. With the tent, patio, and indoor area, there are several different options for a reception. Also, with a traveling bridal party and out of state relatives, the guests houses were really ideal.

I can not even begin to say enough good things about the Tennessee River Place and most importantly, that staff at the venue. Vio Little, the event manager, is one of the most wonderful people you could ever hope to work with. The whole team bent over backwards to make our special day absolutely beautiful. Who could ask for more.... a gorgeous venue.... beautiful scenery....and an incredible team to help you along the way.

Tennessee RiverPlace was the most spectacular venue for my dream wedding. With back up plan options for rainy days to being able to flip the entire reception layout literally at the last minute, Tennessee RiverPlace does it all. Vio is an amazing venue coordinator who works with you from start to finish. This venue let's you chose your own vendors! I loved it!!!

Could not ask for a better place to have had our daughter's wedding. This is a beautiful venue with multiple areas to choose from when planning your event. Vio Little was wonderful in helping us mesh our plans with the venue. We had so many compliments on Tennessee River Place, from our caterer to guests! I would highly recommend Tennessee River Place!

Such a beautiful venue! And during the planning process, the staff were extremely helpful and responded to all my emails within 24 hours if not on the same day. We also rented the houses on the property which were lovely.

I absolutely loved this place. It's so pretty and the staff were terrific. They helped my family set up stuff an walked around and made sure we were taken care of. Vio the manager was super nice I loved her. We also stayed at one of the houses there and my family and I had a blast. I would recommend just going there to stay for family functions or a getaway.

Beautiful venue. They were very accommodating, answered questions as I did planning, and made helpful suggestions. (I did better emailing back and forth, than calling.) They let us come by and look at everything several times ahead of event. Then the day of - Rachel was a great help - helping put out decorations, lighting candles, etc. Vio was our contact and she really helped me with planning. Great staff, great facility.
Also - we chose it because it was a pretty outdoor venue, but had a great backup option for bad weather.

Everyone(especially Vio) was great! They got back to me promptly every time I had a question. The lady that was there the day of my wedding was also extremely helpful. The venue itself is beautiful!!!

Looking back at my sister's wedding day, I don't think that it could have been any more perfect. A lot of it had to do because of the right place, the right venue. Tennessee RiverPlace offered great environment, great views and such a comfortable setting and atmosphere. The view of the river was also nice and peaceful asset. You have a lot of space to take beautiful pictures anywhere you want.
It rained on the wedding day, but this venue with their amazing flexibility, made it possible to switch everything inside. One of the great parts about this venue is that you have the freedom to choose your own vendors at no additional cost! They also offer recommendations for photographers, djs, officiants, florist, bakers & the list goes on BUT you're not required to use them. Giving you the option to also shop around if you wish.
I highly recommend it and if you are in the Chattanooga area looking for a venue, please look no further!

The event staff was very friendly and had everything set up perfectly in a timely manner. We were pleased with everything and the day was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone. Both the outdoor and indoor spaces are beautiful. Our guests loved it and so did we!

Consideration: if you have a chance of rain consider renting an additional tent over the side patio for the reception, we did and it was super!

After checking out several local venues for my wedding I decided on Tennessee RiverPlace and am so glad I did. Vio and the staff at TNRP were fantastic! They made sure everything was taken care of and went out of their way to answer any questions the family had. The building itself and surrounding area is stunning! There are guest rooms upstairs in the main building and two extra guest houses close by if needed- we took advantage of these since we had a lot of out of town guests. Everything was decorated beautifully and it felt more like a vacation getaway stay than a wedding venue rental. I honestly have only good things to say with the entire experience. If you are planning a wedding make sure to check out Tennessee RiverPlace!!!

I cannot say enough nice things about this venue or the wonderful people who run it. Our wedding was so relaxing and exciting and it could not have been as perfect as it was without the team at Tennessee river place. I love this venue, I love the service, I was floored by the value. This is the BEST venue in Chattanooga, hands down.

Tennessee RiverPlace is so beautiful and was an awesome place to get married! The team there is very professional and responsive! TRP allows you to bring in all your own vendors, which is a rarity these days! I'm thoroughly pleased having had my wedding at TRP!

This place is amazing! I just had my wedding here in April and everything was so beautiful. I was so happy to have this setting for my wedding. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I had many questions during the planning and they would always take the time to answer them. They offered recommendations for other vendors, which was very helpful since I do not live in TN. I had my family and bridal party stay on site and they enjoyed every minute. After the wedding, all the guests kept saying how beautiful it was here and loved everything!!!

Having my daughter's wedding at the TRP was a fabulous experience. The venue was absolutely beautiful! I especially appreciated all the little extra touches that add to the elegance of the venue. The setting was gorgeous! Such a delightful treat to hear the sounds of birds and frogs in the background just added to the beauty of the place. The staff bent over backwards to be helpful and accomodating! It way exceeded our expectations! The wedding was perfect, despite enduring the threat of rain. We couldn't be more pleased!

My family and I couldn't have been more pleased with Tennessee River Place. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is excellent. Where do I start? I would recommend Tennessee River Place over and over again to everyone I know. They helped me make my wedding amazing. Vio was wonderful to work with and after another venue cancelled my wedding one month to go, Tennessee River Place did everything they could to help me. It was a gorgeous day and the venue is just beautiful. My pictures are amazing - the arches and the Spanish architecture - just gorgeous. My wedding was perfect and Tennessee River Place helped make it perfect.

We enjoyed our experience at Tennessee River Place SO much and were really impressed with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Vio worked with us the most and she was exceptionally pleasant to work with. Our guests raved about the gorgeous location and our caterers loved having such a spacious kitchen to work in. It was the perfect combination of elegance and relaxation. Our ceremony and reception were outside and it was comforting to know that if the weather was bad we could utilize the inside of the villa and the tent as well.

They were quick to respond and answer any questions that I had. Everyone on staff seemed so down to earth and KIND. It was a joy to visit the venue during wedding planning and converse with them about our ideas. I never felt intimidated or overwhelmed. They came through on all of their commitments. We could not have found a venue that offered more for the price we paid.

After our first venue fell through just a month before the wedding we were in panic mode. I probably tried calling 15 different venues to no avail. So you can imagine my surprise when I called Tennessee River Place and they had just had a cancellation. I booked the day without even seeing the venue.

I have to admit that I honestly hit the jackpot when I found this place. The owners are absolutely amazing and so accommodating. They understand that you are running 90 miles an hour trying to get things done and they are there to give you little tips and advice the whole time.

Now, I want to preface these statements, with, they don't matter at all compared to the amazing day that I had. They aren't even a drop in the bucket considering all the amazing things that this venue offers.

One SMALL complaint that I had was I don't think the guest house should be rented out if there is a wedding. And honestly like I said not a huge deal. It was just that after the ceremony the people in the guest house were out wandering around which was a little odd, and then we had a giant bottle of liquor go missing (no idea whom actually took it just know it wasn't us). NOT A BIG DEAL! Seriously if that's the worse thing that happens on your wedding day, then you mine-as-well call it a perfect day!

That's it! To be perfectly honest, after I dealt with the last venue whom was filled with a bunch of rude and quite frankly insane women, I really didn't think I was going to find a place with just relaxed and calm people whom would help you out as much as possible, and I definitely found that at Tennessee River Place. I can never thank them enough for providing a calm and collected environment in a chaotic situation! It was just what I wanted and needed!

Had a wonderful experience at the RiverPlace. The staff was friendly and professional, and helped make everything perfect for our big day. My only suggestion for improvement is that I would have liked for the "walkway" outdoors to lead up to the alter, but other than that the venue was beautiful. I received a to of compliments from wedding guests on how great the place was, and I actually got a discount since I booked my appointment with them through the Pink Bridal Expo. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The whole staff at Tennessee RiverPlace was more than helpful to make my wedding an amazingly beautiful day to remember. Tennessee RiverPlace is an absolutely beautiful location for any special event. The staff is professional, courteous and very flexible. They have hosted the Tennessee River Gorge Trust's fundraiser for the last three years and our guests look forward to visiting this amazing venue. I love the Tennessee River Place. It is one of my favorite venues in Chattanooga. They offer so many special amenities and their space is so beautiful. The staff they use are amazing and professional.

If you have not made the trip out to see the space you must do it. It is worth the trip!

Although our July wedding took place on a very rainy Saturday, the venue could not have been more beautiful. The staff made every adjustment to accommodate the rain and storms. We held the ceremony under the large white tent, and used all the indoor and outdoor covered spaces for reception seating. The main room served as a wonderful dance floor. We have heard nothing but wonderful compliments from our guests about how beautiful everything was.

The only negative was parking was "messy" because we had monsoon-like rains on the weekend of July 6, 2013. Who would have ever predicted that crazy weather in July?

The TN River Place is the perfect location for an outdoor wedding! THey have changed over owndership recently and have been said to not be doing weddings for 2008 at this location, but you never know if someone will be smart enough to decide to open it up again in the future to the public. Charla and Greg Filter were amazing to work with. Greg catered the wedding reception, and his food and food presentation was amazing!!! Charla was very professional and made sure that everything about my day went perfectly at the RiverPlace. The grounds are beautiful, the tent was perfect, the house was amazing, the bridal suite and groom's suite were perfect for both of us on our big day as we got ready and spent time with our wedding party. The place even has rooms to rent out the weekend of the wedding so that family or out of town guests can stay at the facility. It treuly made my wedding a dream come true! I hope they TN River Place decides to continue allowing weddings at this site! It is too perfect!!!

Vio was the sweetest and most helpful person to work with. She responded to emails immediately and was willing to let me use many of the decor, accessories, etc. that were available. It rained up until 30 minutes before the ceremony and the Tennessee RiverPlace staff could not have worked harder. They helped take down all of the table cloths, washed and dried them and put them back on the tables without me ever knowing. Tennessee RiverPlace is beautiful and the staff is thorough in every way.

The Tn River Place is a very beautiful place to have a wedding. The staff was very friendly and helped us set things up the day of the wedding. We were able to go to the venue mostly any time during the week prior to the wedding to plan out decorations and the overall set up. The venue also provided a tent to use in case of bad weather. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. It's breathtakingly beautiful, perfect for pictures, and the kids at the wedding loved having the chance to run around a bit! The bridal party stayed in the guest house for the weekend as well, and it really set a relaxed mood- the boys played frisbee and us girls sat on the porch with a glass of wine! The event staff was very helpful and helped everything run smoothly!

We had our wedding at the Tennessee RiverPlace this September and it was an absolute perfect evening in a gorgeous setting. Vio and Rachel were both very easy to work with and were quick to answer any questions we had in a timely manner and offer up suggestions on how things have been done in the past. The venue is beautiful and offers great flexibility depending on what you want to do with your event.

We also rented the Guest House for the weekend and has a few babies staying there. They were nice enough to purchase a crib for the house in time for our stay to accommodate them.

Tennessee RiverPlace is wonderful. It was the perfect spot for us! We wanted an outdoor wedding, but also knew that we would need a backup plan in case it rained. TNRP has a large tent onsite! The grounds are beautiful- such a blank canvas for any type of wedding. We absolutely loved it and would use them again!

This venue made our dream wedding come true! We wanted an outdoor wedding, but loved that it had ability to bring everything inside if needed. It was 70% chance of rain the day before, so they set up for the rain plan. When it got to the day of, the rain chance went away so they helped us to move everything outside. We could not have been happier with this choice for our venue. It is absolutely beautiful, rain or shine. The added bonus of having the top of the house for everyone to get ready in made things so much better. If you have been looking for a beautiful venue with a flexible staff without vendor requirements, then I would definitely suggest Tennessee River Place!

I LOVED having my wedding here! Vio was great to work with on planning and making sure everything was set up just the way I imagined it! The only issue we had was the lady in charge of being the point of contact on the day was MIA for the first few hours of the day but it wasn't too big of an issue. Beautiful location and the cheapest amount I could find for the space that they offer. My guests loved it here!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Tennessee Riverplace. It was the perfect day! Tennessee Riverplace was absolutely wonderful. The facilities are beautiful and the scenery is hard to beat. The staff were always professional and friendly. They were organized and made sure I had everything taken care of. One of the reasons why we chose Tennessee Riverplace was the flexibility of having whatever vendors we wanted. We didn't have to choose our caterer from a specific list. The staff are so flexible and are willing to do whatever to make sure everything turns out the way you want it. I would highly recommend having a wedding or whatever kind of event here. After the wedding, me and my husband stayed in one of the rooms and it was very nice! I will definitely be coming back to stay for bed and breakfast in the future!

A little pricey with all of the add-ons for linens and other rentals. I feel more things should be included in the venue rental fee, such as linens, sound system, dishes and flatware(that should be cleaned and returned), cake platters etc.

Beautiful venue and tons of compliments on the location. They do have options if it rains so they are pretty flexible to work with. They were a big help in giving names of other vendors to work with.
