My wonderful experience
I hired Tena back in 2014 for my first wedding. Here we are several years later and I couldn’t think of anyone else to do my make up and hair once again for my big day. TenaNY came to me as a referral and I’m so thankful we met. From the phone consultation to the trial and then on my big day. She really knows her craft and I felt totally comfortable in her hands. She was there to touch me up after my first look. I’m so thankful I hired her for touchup. Her girls worked on my mom and mother in law. I’d highly recommend Tena New York. Thank you for making my day perfect! -

Amazing experience
Working with Tena New York, I am at a lost for words. Tena was there to work with me personally on my make-up and hair and had an amazing staff that assisted my bridal party as well. tEna New York provided Hair and Makeup service for myself and my bridesmaids. She was exceptional, from her professionalism right down to her makeup skills. She made me feel and look like a princess. I cant thank her enough for making my day so special. -

Mariam (make up) and Tena (hair) were an excellent choice. My bridal party, mothers and myself really appreciated how professional, flexible and accommodating Tena and her team were during the whole process. They both pay attention to details and they make sure not only to listen to what you are looking for but also ensuring that you are happy with the results. I was referred to tEna New York by a good friend and I was extremely satisfied with the services I received. Tena was amazing! She was extremely professional and my hair and make-up came out exactly how I wanted it. Not only that, but I felt like I was hanging out with a friend while she was there. tEna New York is an amazing bridal company. They handled me and my chaotic bridezilla anxiety with care. I'm more than happy with their professionalism and highly recommend them to anyone who's undecided on what to do with themselves hair and makeup wise. I even went from short hair to long and luscious great quality hair. My only wish was that the spa experiences lasted days!!! It was overall fantastic and they kept everything clean. OMG! I love Tena and her beauties. I have two bridesmaids that are having their weddings in the next year and want to book with tEna NY because they absolutely LOVED their professionalism, outgoing persona, and overall quality. I LOVE the makeups and the combination of colors they used for my wedding. Although my bridesmaids looks fabulous , I felt like I was the bride. They fit my hair and makeup right into my floral wedding theme. By far the best! They even did a trial before my wedding and I'm super picky. Tena not only did my Hindu wedding look but also my destination wedding reception look; from make-up to hair to dressing me! I was absolutely amazed by her talent and cannot thank her enough for making me a stunning bride. Prior to my wedding, she was extremely patient during my trial as every bride may not know which look to go with. I showed Tena a few hairstyles I was considering and without hesitation she did several up-dos as well as loose-hair styles that perfectly matched the pictures! She was punctual for each trial and wedding days, I really admired her professionalism. She is truly exceptional! -

Tena made me look absolutely perfect on my wedding day, she also created a look for my girls, mother-in-law and mom that made them feel comfortable and more beautiful than they already are. Tena is also so calm and sweet, she listens and gives you exactly the look that you want. I highly recommend her for any special occasion, and specially to any bride! Tena did my hair and make up as well as my sister's hair and make up for her sweet 16. We got compliments all night! Tena was friendly and professional. I would recommend TNY to anyone who needs hair and make up for an event. I love that she came to the venue and we did not have to travel anywhere! -

The first time I met Tena I knew I found the perfect MUA and a new best friend. Tena is incredibly talented, fun to work with, very professional and extremely accommodating. I had no idea what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like but, with her expert guidance, I found a look that was both elegant and versatile. She also helped me develop a skincare routine that would allow me to look my best the day of the wedding. Tena and her team did the makeup for myself and our bridal party in June. The makeup application was vibrant enough to photograph beautifully, but still looked natural. She erased the dark circles and bags under my eyes in minutes and my makeup didn't smudge at all through all my happy tears. Not only did they make everyone look absolutely beautiful, but they helped make the entire day run more smoothly. Tena calmed my nerves the minute we got to the wedding venue and even helped cover up a chipped nail with makeup when I stubbed my toe!
Tena and her teams work truly speaks for itself. If you want a MUA that will make you look radiant and be there to help you through the unexpected surprises that every wedding day brings, there is no one better qualified for the job. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and cannot wait to use her again for future events. -

Tena, Tena, Tena. Tena is one of the few hair and MUA that really got it. Whatever I wanted, she delivered and then some. Tena and her team not only made my bridal party, sister in law and mother breathtakingly gorgeous, but she listened to exactly what I wanted, gave her input in the best way possible (which turned out to be right!), and made me the happiest bride! She is also extremely professional and was on point every step of the way. I will definitely recommend her for any event where you need you and your girls to look absolutely amazing. If I could put her in my pocket forever, I would!! -

Tena has dolled me up for 3 of my wedding events in April 2014. I can't begin to explain how amazing her work is and how for each 1 of my events I had a complete different look (hair/makeup both). She instantly connected with me in what I wanted and that was her main goal to make me happy and have 1 less worry for my big day. She's the only MUA I found that provides the services in staying with me for the whole day for all my touch ups: after the wedding, in between my photo shoot, at the same day reception (3rd look): after cake cutting, after the first dance etc.. I will be booking her for all my events I will have from the new born baby party all the way to 50th anniversary party and beyond. I tell everyone about her and recommend her and the great packages she has to offer because every event she did of mine became her priority. -

The service that Tena New York provided went above and beyond what you would typically expect from a beauty vendor. The staff who I was fortunate enough to work with was so personable and friendly, it made the entire experience stress free and pleasurable. Not only did I not have to worry about how I looked throughout the duration of my 2 day long wedding because Tena and her staff was with me the whole time .... But their personalities made it feel as though I was surround by friends, not just a vendor I paid. They listen and follow through with everything that the bride wants and even if the bride is unsure, they walk you through. Thumbs up to Tena and her staff ! -

It was truly a pleasure to work with tEna New York. I initially had some reservations about what kind of look I wanted when I went to Tena. However, she set me at ease and took the time to go through different looks and effects. She is extremely professional and sets you at ease on what can turn out to be a very stressful time. She was also kind enough to offer skincare services even after the big night.
For the services offered, the price is right and of course not only will I be recommending tEna New York to my friends and relatives, I also plan to use her in the future. -

Tena was so kind and professional from the moment I met her. She made me feel at ease and has given me the feelings of security that everything will be great on my big day. Choosing to work with tENA New York was the best decision I ever made and I will continue to rely on her processes for as long as I continue to be part of any occasion that requires me to look and feel my best. All of the effort that she puts in is visibly 110% of her and she's able to take on just about any case scenario. Regardless of the amount of pressure I may have have been under, I knew that my trust was in the right hands and it was clearly not a problem for her to satisfy me. Thanks to tENA New York, I arrived to my event looking beyond stunning as opposed to anything I could have ever imagined. Her creativity and aim to please really flourishes in all that she does. Having your special BIG day can be stressful and nerve racking at times but if you have the right team by your side, you need not worry about anything, this is why I highly recommended Tena and her crew !They are so professional, courteous , and highly skilled! Tena is extremely talented and knowledgeable. Not only did she make me look flawless, but she mentored me on my skin. I've been having a lot of issues with acne and she recommended me to a skin care kit (Clear Now) that has shown remarkable results so far. From beginning to end I was so impressed, she was so professional, easy to communicate with, and made my experience delightful. I absolutely recommend, you will leave with a huge smile on your face and grateful for all the work and advice she has given you. -

Tena and her team did my bridesmaids hair and makeup. I used Tena's services for touch ups as my make up/hair artist was not available to come with me to the church and venue to do touch ups. Tena is very accommodating that way. She and her team arrived on time and was down to business from the second they got to my hotel (even with a 2 am start time and 8 bridesmaids yikes!!). Her team made my girls feel very relaxed. They did not try to force a look on them. Tena and her team listened to them and was able to produce a beautiful look. NO one looked overdone. Everyone looked natural and had a beautiful glow. TEna was so helpful to me. Although I only had one outfit change she was there to touch me up and even offered me water while I was nervously waiting for the ceremony to start. She had such helpful packages which I was not able to take advantage of because of my timing and my location but it definitely would have been something I would have loved to do. She is a wonderful artist and person. -

Talk with her openly and honestly about what you're looking for. She's receptive, honest, and worth every penny. Tena not only did an amazing job on my hair and makeup but she went above and beyond her job for me the day of my wedding (i.e. she was helping bustle my dress and made sure I was eating). And the women she assembled to help do hair and makeup for my bridal party were sweet, easy going, and most importantly, talented. -

The girls were great. My only complaint is that I showed the girl who did my hair what i wanted and it looked nothing like it. i wanted a soft romantic side braid that was loose and it ended up being a small side braid that was tight and a big bun in the back.
The girl who did my makeup was great. i loved the look! even my husband loved it and he hates when i wear makeup.
