The best djs around!

We couldn’t be more thrilled with the performance of Tech 3 Productions at our wedding! From our first consultation to the last song of the night, they were professional, responsive, and made sure the music perfectly matched the vibe we wanted for our big day.

The music selection was spot-on, and they did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping the energy up all night. Our guests were on the dance floor from the moment the music started until the very end! We got so many compliments on how great the music was and how seamless everything felt. Tech 3 really created the perfect atmosphere for both the ceremony and reception.

What stood out to us the most was their attention to detail and flexibility. We had a few last-minute changes and requests, and they handled everything with ease, making us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process.

If you're looking for a wedding DJ who is not only talented but also reliable and easy to work with, we highly recommend Tech 3. Thank you so much for making our wedding celebration unforgettable!

Amazing DJ 10/10

10/10… the real deal. We have been blessed to have Donnell to the venue a few times now. He is amazing to work with and so good at his job. His energy and attitude are incredible.

His DJ skills are what you have to have at a wedding. Not to mention the beautiful uplighting he provided. His booth had beautiful engagement pictures of the couple displayed, and later in the evening changed to pictures the guests had captured throughout the wedding. Thank you for setting the bar so high!

New Year's Eve wedding

I absolutely loved working with Tech 3 (Donnell). He and Mysterious did more than dj our wedding. I felt as though I'd built not just a working relationship but a friendship over the planning for my wedding. Donnell, responded to every call/text promptly and professionally. They communicated with our vendors, oversaw our timeline, kept the crowd hyped and catered to the needs of me and my husband. Ex: Donnell communicated with my other vendors and executed a timeline which allowed for my husband and I to enjoy the moment without being rushed. My husband"s boutonniere fell off, they got him another. During pictures, they made sure his tie was straight. During the reception, they continuously checked to see if we needed drinks and were okay. These things helped our day be even more special.

Donnell suggested a photo dash & coordinated with our photographer, which was so fun and amazing! I am already looking to plan my next event which, Tech 3 will be the first choice for any event I have moving forward.

Tech 3 is hands down the best dj service, you will not be disappointed.

DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love

Shannon was the DJ for our wedding at the Royal Oak Farmers Market and he did a phenomenal job!! He read the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. He also did an amazing job as our MC and helped the reception and dinner service move seamlessly. We had such a great evening dancing the night away and couldn’t have been happier with our decision! Would absolutely recommend Shannon and Tech 3 Productions!!!

Exceeded Expectations!

Had DJ Shannon from Tech 3 Productions for our 2023 wedding in Detroit. Couldn't be happier with the result! The whole process was nice and easy, communication was on point, and he was flexible in accommodating our unique venue. And of course, the music selection and flow/handling of the evening was perfect. Would recommend!

A Man with a Plan

Donnell was an excellent DJ. one of the most underrated jobs of a good wedding DJ is directing the flow of activities, and Donnell does this seamlessly. His introduction of the wedding reentrance produced some of the most iconic photos and video of the night! His music choices were crowd-pleasing and appropriately mixed. His equipment was well suited to our indoor-outdoor wedding, which provides a lot of flexibility on your big day! It was a pleasure to work with him. I also really liked the website he uses to indicate the songs for each part of the wedding!

Professional, fun, and flexible

Donnell was very professional with the flow and set up for the ceremony and reception. We had our own event page and were able to upload music lists and event flow. During reception he raised the mood for guests to dance and have fun. We're very glad that we had him as a DJ.

Top shelf!

DJ Shannon was over the top! The man knows how to rock a wedding. Dance floor was always hoppin’ ’ my daughter and her new husband were so happy with him. I told him I’ve never seen a DJ so into his music, dancing and singing. I had guests and myself caught watching him as entertainment instead of the crowd on the floor. Professional and Personality five stars! 100% recommendation

This DJ rocked the house!

So happy our son and new daughter in law chose you for their wedding! You came early, set up was great, were so professional, played EVERYTHING and kept the dance floor alive! Great lighting that made the wedding sign look even better! Great voice for a DJ! Received so many compliments from all that attended, young and old! Highly recommend!

Best dj out there!

Donnell was nothing but incredible to work with! He went above and beyond to understand what my Wife and I wanted to be played and disliked. He truly not only had our dance floor full the entire night, but read the room on the spot to please 300 guests and keep the party going! If you want a DJ that is not only affordable, but wants to ensure your special day is perfect musically then Donnell is the DJ for you! I can’t say enough good things about our experience!

Tech3 was perfect for our wedding

Shannon (DJ Mysterious) and Deshawna were fantastic. Shannon's music was perfect for our wedding. He played all our requests. Shannon hit all our cues during our ceremony as well with just the right volume level for the moment. We were most impressed with how Shannon was on top of knowing what was happening next and giving us and speech givers warnings of the upcoming moment. He was attentive and made sure we were happy how everything was going. He definitely helped coordinate with us to make sure the timeline was on track. Our night was so enjoyable and Shannon was a huge part of that.

One of the Best DJs I’ve experienced

We hired Tech3 and worked with DJ Smooth and he knocked it out of the park. Not only was he professional, but he went above and beyond with some of our specific requests when it came to music. He kept the party going and was the best hype man. I would recommend him to anyone - several of our guests told me he was the best DJs they’ve heard at a wedding. Book with Tech 3 without hesitation!

The best and most reliable DJ!

Donnell from Tech3 showed up for our wedding when we were in a significant pinch. Because of the state COVID restrictions on weddings when planning it, we weren’t sure if we should invest in a DJ. We didn’t know if we could do masked dancing and had cut our guest list significantly, so we were initially creating a playlist ourselves. We booked Tech3 within a month of the wedding after giving it more thought. We decided whether there was dancing or not, having a DJ would be important for transitions and providing music to keep the guests still feeling connected in the moment.

Donnell made sure to provide us with exactly what we wanted. He made sure we felt special and heard as a client. He played all the music we requested, and none of our do not playlist. He read the room well and transitioned music effortlessly. We loved his mashes! Our guests said nothing but great things about him! We loved him.

10/10 recommend investing in Tech3 regardless of circumstances to your big day.

Highly Recommend

We had a blast! Guests of all ages were on their feet and having a great time. I was so worried about it not feeling like a celebration that I was prepared to have every song picked out but he was like send me a few of your must hears and what you don't want to hear and I got you and HE HAD US!! I love looking back at the photos and seeing everyone dancing from our oldest family members to our youngest.

Best dj ever

DJ Smooth did my sisters wedding and DJ Mysterious did my wedding. BOTH were incredible and our weddings would not have been the same without these DJ's. Highly recommend if you are looking to have an unforgettable wedding reception!

Best DJ ever!!

We had our wedding on 1/1. Our DJ was so attentive. He made sure the wedding flowed and he had everyone in the crowd moving from young to old! We had meetings with the hotel before the wedding so we could get the plan down pat. He also made sure my husband and I were happy with all of the arrangements. The service was professional and the whole entire night was a party.

Truly Invested in a Wonderful Experience

Donnell did an excellent job for our wedding! He was extremely professional, responsive, and helped ease any worries we had. He was very lively and kept the party going strong until we had to go. Fantastic time!

This is our third event we have attended that they have played at. All three have been OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!! They helped make our wedding day unforgettable. Tech 3 productions is amazing! I have recommended them to a few people at my wedding and will continue to do so. I had gotten many complements on my wedding day about my DJ because of the music and good vibes being put out.

This was absolutely the best DJ and photo booth service I have ever used. My husband and I used Tech 3 productions for our wedding reception for DJ and photo booth. (Gold package) The Tech 3 team was very professional, prompt, enthusiastic, and most importantly they kept our party going. Our guests enjoyed themselves thoroughly with the music and photo booth services. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend the whole package, you will not regret it. Very organized and structured. Donnell makes sure you are good ALL night. Staff was very friendly, very professional and on point to make sure your day goes smooth. We got the DJ, photo booth, and up lighting rental.

Great experience with Tech 3 Productions, would absolutely use them again! Very fast at responding to any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, the dance floor was packed the entire night. Donnell was great at song selection and I loved how he interacted with the guests. The photobooth was phenomenal as well. The props were very neatly laid out on a table instead of being thrown in a box.

Donnell was great to work with! Not only was his website easy to use for customizing and preparing for our event, Donnell scheduled a call to go over all the information to ensure he understood exactly what we wanted. During the event, he followed what we wanted and had everyone on the dance floor.

DJ Smooth was awesome. Our family and friends aren't exactly dancing machines and he got everyone out of their seats throughout the night. He's really funny and our guests are still cracking up at his jokes. He also supplied the wall monogram and uplighting, it really set the mood. Our wedding was great because of him. Next up we want him to DJ our baby shower, just kidding! Highly recommend him for any event.

I cannot say enough about DJ Smooth!! From the beginning of our experience with him he was knowledgeable, available for questions and always prompt. Planning a wedding is hard enough and he really made the music process a breeze. He’s great at what he does and doesn’t charge anywhere as much as he probably should. We also had uplighting and a wall design, our guests loved it! I’d recommend him over and over, i’d book him over and over but thankfully this will be my first and last wedding

DJ Smooth was absolutely incredible. We opened our dance floor at around 7pm, and it was consistently packed until we finally had to shut it down at midnight (and our dance floor was 18'x24'). We opted to have the DJ serve as an MC as well, and he did an amazing job as a showman! He got the crowd excited to dance and kept them interested with throwback jams, unique mixes, etc. Every now and then he would call my husband or I out to do some special thing on the floor. He even brought me up in the booth to DJ a bit with the headphones and turntables (even though I had no idea what I was doing - it was fun!). His set up was incredible. He had his own portable light-up DJ booth, a stand with color changing lights for the dance area, huge speakers, and a wireless microphone. His mix of music styles was exactly what I wanted. I think the number one compliment we have received about the wedding was how awesome the DJ was. We actually asked him to stay over our contracted time because everyone was having so much fun. I cannot recommend this company enough - it makes me want to throw another party just to hire them!
As an additional note, the price and service in the months leading up to the wedding were also top-notch. They have a customer portal where you can build your music preferences, request songs to play (or not play), and even set up songs dedicated to other people. Depending on how much you want your DJ to participate (as I said - we went for full showman), you can also fill out all the extra details of your wedding on there, such as names of wedding party, parents, order of toasts, etc. Even though you can do everything online, we talked a few times to go over specific details carefully. I could tell he really wanted to understand the vibe of our wedding and our style before arriving. He was professional, entertaining, hilarious, and one h*ll of a DJ. With an incredible affordable price to boot, I could not have picked a better service.

I rated Tech 3 Productions 5/5 because they were perfect and exceeded our expectations. From the start, they were professional, organized, and courteous and they wanted to help us make our wedding an event to remember. Once we decided to go with Tech 3 Productions, we met with our DJ and talked about the music that we wanted played, and didn’t want played, and how the event was going to go that day. We had a lot of specific requests and they catered to them all!
On the day of the wedding, they were on time and prepared and ready to go when we were. Their set up looked great and they helped us create the atmosphere/vibe that we were looking for. The dance floor was full all night long and they did a fantastic job at keeping the crowd moving. They would be the only DJ service that I would ever hire again, do yourself a favor and don’t look anywhere else.

I can only say that Donnell and his team were amazing! The venue had an elevator break down so they had to bring up all the equipment 2 flights of stairs. No complaints just did their job. Everything was smooth, played everything as we asked and got many compliments on their services! Also, the photobooth was great, tons of props too! Very flexible company with very very fair pricing, you can't go wrong.

Absolutely loved our DJ! Donnell and his team were amazing! I booked Tech3 for my wedding and I am VERY happy with their services! The music was great, the lighting, the photo booth, everything was done professionally and to my liking. From day 1, Donnell was very attentive to details, quick to respond and gave me advice on how I can do some of the things I wanted to do-which turned out better than expected! Donnell Campbell of Tech 3 Productions DJ'd my wife & I's wedding, and he killed it! I had several people throughout our reception tell me how much they were enjoying the DJ and the music he was playing. We let him know we wanted a nice mix of funk & modern hits, he progressed his set throughout the night accordingly. He mixed between songs for seamless set. I would highly recommend booking Donnell. We really have no complaints. Also wanted to point out that we had a list of several songs for our ceremony and first dances that he got for us no problem.

We've usd Tech 3 for several kid friendly events at my company. The latest was a Santa holiday party for kids. The DJ was great ...he listened to our specific needs and played great music. He had everyone dancing from the time they walked in the door. The photo booth was top notch. Very up to date with great features. We received multiple compliments and people had a great experience! Overall they did a great job and we will be using them again.

I hired Tech 3 for our holiday party, The DJ was phenomenal he played great music and had everyone dancing. The photo booth was one of the best one I have ever seen, it was very sleek and even had a video recording option which i thought was awesome. Donnell was awesome. He kept my guest dancing all night, changing the music as needed to keep them bustin' a move!!! He was quick to respond to any questions and helped keep things on schedule for the night. He even turned the volume down when my Mumsie (grandma) asked LOL The photo booth was a blast also. All my guest received copies and I got a flash drive with all the pictures. It even had video so guest could leave a message. And trust me, we will be laughing at them for years to come. Everyone loved all the music played and the photo booth and props! We had a great time at our wedding and they played all the songs that we wanted them to! We still get compliments till this day about the music played! They were also very affordable with the package we selected! They were very personable and friendly! Tech 3 was awesome! Our wedding reception was a huge hit largely because of Donnell and his team. He was very attentive and professional, kept the reception on program, and had the party rocking all night long with a huge variety of music. Our guests raved about the photobooth, too! From beginning to end Tech 3 did a phenomenal job, with prompt communication to making sure all the details were right. From dealing with my craziness, to my constant changes with music they were able to land on exactly what I wanted. I wanted 20’s jazz as my dinner music and then a switch after dinner to current music, they accomplished that as well as any requests I requests I had on the fly. They also provided my photo booth which of course was a huge hit. The photo booth produced high quality prints, great video, and a usb stick with all of my pictures and videos as a keepsake. They keep my party going on all fronts with music and the photo booth and I couldn’t be happier. They definitely make the top of my referral list for anyone needing DJ/Photo booth services.

Donnell and his team were great! They did forget an important part of the night, blessing of the food, but made up for it smoothly. He kept everyone dancing all night and added a wonderful atmosphere to our reception. I HIGHLY recommend this company for DJ services.

Tech 3 was incredibly friendly during our meetings. It was their fun personalities that drew me to them at a bridal show. In meeting them we felt our personalities meshed well and it was a good fit. Everything went really well up until the day of the wedding. We were told our specific DJ would be there at 2:30 and he didn't show up until 4:15. I understand traffic was heavy that day but a small text or email would have been appreciated. This specific DJ also didn't loop the songs correctly from the bridal party entrance into my entrance (the bride). I stood waiting for close to a minute with silence while he looked for my entry song. The rest of the evening went well until the individual dances came along. Between my first dance with my husband and my dance with my father we had the same issue and my father and I were standing in the middle of the dance floor with all eyes on us as the DJ searched for the song again. After dinner the DJ was trying to rally everyone to the dance floor but his message came off as they had to leave and we actually had guests leave early due to this even though my mother was trying to catch as many people leaving as possible. The customer service aspect was great and the team was willing to put together anything we asked. It was the hiccups at important times that caused me to rate overall a 3.5
