From Boudoir to Wedding Day: The Best Photographer & Friend I Could Ask For!

Hiring Lauren as my wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire wedding process. From the very beginning, she made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We did a boudoir session, a bridal session, and an engagement session before the wedding, and each one felt so effortless and fun. By the time my wedding day arrived, it felt like I was being photographed by a close friend who truly understood me.

On our wedding day, it rained but Lauren never let that stop us. She embraced it with so much positivity and creativity, and somehow managed to capture the most beautiful, romantic photos that I will treasure forever. She turned what could have been a stressful situation into pure magic.

Beyond her talent, Lauren has the kindest soul. She was so much more than just a photographer to me by the end of the journey, she became a real friend. She captured every detail, every emotion, and every moment so perfectly. I will never stop recommending her to anyone looking for not only stunning photos but also an incredible person to share their wedding journey with.

Working with Lauren was easily the best decision we made for our wedding. On the wedding day, she was so much more than just a photographer, she was an expert at weddings, a timeline manager, and a total pro at wrangling our huge family for portraits.

Dream Photos & an Even Better Experience – 1000/10 Recommend!

I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough, hiring her as our wedding photographer was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our big day.From the very first inquiry, she was warm, responsive, and genuinely excited about our vision. During our engagement session, she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera (even though we’re both usually awkward about having our pictures taken), and those photos turned out stunning. It gave us total confidence going into the wedding day.On the day itself, she was an absolute dream. She arrived early, blended seamlessly into the chaos of getting ready, and captured every moment without ever feeling intrusive. She somehow managed to be everywhere at once, snapping candid laughs with my bridesmaids, quiet tears during my dad’s first look, and all the tiny details we’d spent months planning, while still directing us gently for the formal shots so everything stayed on schedule. My husband and I barely noticed the camera most of the time, which is exactly what we wanted.When we received the gallery… I cried happy tears all over again. The photos are breathtaking. The colors are rich but natural, the lighting is magical, and every image tells the story of our day perfectly. She captured emotions I didn’t even realize were happening in the moment. Every time I look through the album, I’m transported right back to how overwhelmingly happy we felt.If you’re looking for a photographer who is not only insanely talented but also kind and truly invested in making your day perfect, look no further. Lauren Made Our Wedding Day Unforgettable!

Lauren was such a joy to work with! She photographed both our engagement session and wedding and every photo is absolutely beautiful. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and captured us in the most genuine and effortless way. All of our photos are so natural and capture every laugh, tear and every little detail. During our reception, we snuck away for 10 minutes and got photos with the most beautiful sunset! It was a perfect ending to a perfect day. We’ll Treasure These Photos Forever

I can’t imagine our wedding day without Lauren, she was truly a blessing to us. Our Catholic ceremony lasted over three hours, and she captured every moment so beautifully and respectfully. The lighting inside the cathedral wasn’t easy, but you’d never know it from our photos—they’re absolutely stunning! She caught every detail, from the stained glass windows to the quiet, emotional moments between us and our families. Lauren was calm, professional, and such a comforting presence throughout the entire day. She was always so quick to respond to every email and help with anything we needed. She got along great with our family and friends. She captured every moment of our day beautifully.

Lauren is a magician!

Lauren was able to capture photos that I couldn’t have imagined were even possible. She was incredibly patient throughout the entire wedding day from my difficult family, our timeline running behind and it raining most of the day. Nothing got in her way and she created the most beautiful photos even during the rain. She was so much fun to be around and took a ton of stress out of the day. Lauren was absolutely amazing! She photographed our coastal wedding so beautifully and made us feel completely at ease. Lauren is a phenomenal wedding photographer

We inquired with multiple photographers and once we chatted with Lauren on the phone, we knew she was the one! She made us feel like we were her only client. She went above and beyond for everything. She was so knowledgeable about all things weddings and was eager to help us with anything we needed. She sent us this incredible wedding planning guide and also helped us plan out our perfect engagement session. She even helped us choose the best outfits for our session. On our wedding day, she was so personable that it felt like hanging out with a friend all day. Everyone loved her and was so impressed by how smooth and fun she made the photography experience. She captured the most beautiful photos and some of the sweetest moments. She couldn’t have been more happy with our choice for a wedding photographer. Everything was perfect!

The BEST photographer ever!

We are beyond grateful to have Lauren by our side to capture some of the most important moments of our lives from our wedding day to maternity photos, and now the first precious days with our newborn. I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing Lauren was as our wedding photographer! From the very first consultation, she made me feel so at ease and truly listened to what we wanted. On the wedding day, she was such a calming presence even during the chaos, she made everything feel effortless. She knew exactly how to capture every special moment without us ever feeling posed or rushed.

When we got our gallery back, I cried happy tears all over again. The photos were absolutely stunning, she captured the joy, the little details, and the big moments in the most beautiful way. Looking for the perfect photographer on your big day? Look no further!

I'm not sure where to even start when it comes to Lauren and her services! Like many other brides, finding the perfect photographer to capture your big day is one of the most important things! I looked and did my research, and by the grace of God I happened to come across Taylor'd Southern Events. When we hired Lauren, she had just moved up to the D.C. area from Florida (talk about perfect timing). From the very beginning, Lauren took the time to get to know my husband and I on more of a personal level, which helped her capture such intimate, beautiful, memorable pictures! From traveling hours for our engagement shoot in the mountains, to being there at the farm and keeping me on schedule on our big day - Lauren was nothing short of absolutely amazing. Not to mention her shots are absolutely breathtaking!

Magazine worthy photos from the best photographer!!

I have no idea where to begin with this review because Lauren is so dear to our hearts. Lauren is a highly sought after photographer. My mom and I were super impressed by her after the first meeting. I knew she was the one. She makes you feel so comfortable behind a camera and is able to reel in a million people going so many different ways. We got sneak peeks the night of our wedding and everyone was amazed because they were nothing short of magazine worthy. I love every single one. Lauren is a photographer you don’t walk towards you run towards her and be prepared to be amazed every single time. She’s so talented and her spirit is genuine. Absolutely amazing

I am SO HAPPY to have had Lauren photograph our wedding. She is so professional, personable, and amazing at what she does. Never once did I feel like she was in the way during the ceremony, and yet I know she got amazing shots. She made us so comfortable when taking photos and we were laughing most of the time. I've gotten a few sneak peak pictures already and they are so beautiful that I'm comfortable writing this review already. We couldn't have put our wedding photos into more capable hands. Best Photographer Ever!

We hired Lauren to be our wedding photographer. We were originally planning a two year engagement and hired Lauren two years out from our planned wedding date. After about a year of planning, I was so stressed out from all of the wedding planning, the cost of a wedding, and the drama that is involved with planning a wedding. I called Lauren to get advice and she recommended I Elope instead of having a big wedding. That day, I called off my wedding, attempted to get deposits back from everyone I could, notified all of my family and friends and made the decision to Elope. I called Lauren back and asked her what dates she had available in the upcoming weeks and where she recommended we Elope. She helped me plan my entire Elopement in two weeks. She secured us a florist, venue, suit rentals, hair and makeup, pretty much all of our vendors and told us when and where to show up. We invited a few of our closest family and friends and we Eloped on the beach in Fort Walton, FL. Let me say that it was the BEST decision we could have ever made. We saved so much money, time and stress. We actually enjoyed every minute of our Elopement and we got the most beautiful photos ever!!! Lauren was not only our photographer but came through for us and helped planned our entire elopement when she knew we needed recusing from our big wedding plans. By the end of it, we considered her a close friend. I can't speak highly enough not only of her professional services but as a person as well. She is so much fun to be around and will take the shirt off of her back if you need it.

Destination Wedding Photographer

Lauren was absolutely incredible. She is so personable and truly wants to get to know you. We chose her for our destination wedding, and when she arrived the day of our wedding we felt like we already knew her! During the entire process of planning our destination wedding, she was full of ideas and knowledge. She truly wants her clients to love their photos and the entire experience. She offers a second shooter, which was important to me. Being that our wedding was a destination wedding, we wanted to make sure every detail was captured, the locations and timelines were organized and everyone knew exactly what was going on. She went above and beyond what we expected of her. Of all of our vendors I would not hesitate to hire Lauren again if we ever have a need for a photographer. Lauren is 110% genuine and we LOVE our photos!

I cannot say enough good things about Lauren and her team! From the get go, they have been a pleasure to work with. When I first reached out to Lauren, she gave me their pricing but was never pushy about me using her. She did my engagement pictures and I loved them so much I decided to keep her for my wedding photographer :) (it wasn't a hard choice to make). After I hired them for the photography, I also added on videography and bartenders (this company is literally your one stop shop!). She always responded so quickly to my emails which made planning easier on my end. Her photography and videography team are so fun to work with. I had a motley wedding party to say the least; Lauren and her team handled us like champs! If you're considering hiring Lauren and the Taylor'd Southern team, DO IT! Lauren and her team were FABULOUS to work with. Planning a wedding in just 4 months was stressful. All of the local photographers in our area were booked for the date we choose so I started googling and came across Taylor'd Southern Events and requested more information. I was nervous not knowing anyone who had used them before. Lauren and her team responded quick and after speaking with Lauren on the phone I knew they would be perfect to Shoot our engagement pics and upcoming big day! Booking all over, Lauren travels keeping a bust schedule, she worked with us and we were able to schedule an engagement session within days of booking which took a lot of stress off. Not only did Lauren and her team travel for our Wedding they made our engagement picture dreams come true by traveling to our FAVORITE spot in Palm Coast, and suggested a Sunrise Session which meant an extra day prior of their time to travel down for the perfect shoot. My husband is VERY shy, and neither of us like taking photos so we were kind of nervous and hoping it would be quick. Lauren and her team were so down to earth and made the whole experience a breeze. Not only were they professional, friendly, and down to earth Lauren became a "go to" friend during my wedding planning. If I had any questions or needed advice I would text her and she would respond with ideas. Friends and family are still talking about how beautiful our engagement and wedding photos were. I highly recommend Taylor'd Southern Events! They were TOP QUALITY all the way around, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I used Taylor’d Southern Events for our engagement and wedding pictures. Lauren and her team are absolutely amazing. They are very easy to work with and make you feel very comfortable and provide outstanding photos. Taylor'd Southern Events (TSE) came to our rescue late in the wedding planning game. Originally our venue, Southwood, came with a Day-Of Coordinator, super convenient. In May 2017, the coordinator, informed us during our menu tasting that she was moving and would not be there for the wedding and Southwood would not be replacing her. So we were pretty much on our own. After frantically searching online, I stumbled upon TSE. Lauren Taylor was very responsive from the beginning and really eased my mind. I had already booked 90% of the vendors and planned everything but just needed someone to make sure everything was organized and ran smoothly. She matched me up with Kim Dyke who was AMAZING! She is so sweet and really knowledgeable about the whole wedding business. A couple days before our Oct. 7, 2017 wedding, a tropical storm looked like it was going to come directly at us the day of the wedding. Kim and I were able to move the reception in the clubhouse at Southwood(luckily they were receptive) and the ceremony would still be outside, but under a tent. Kim was quick to call vendors and have them move deliveries inside and coordinate their arrivals. She helped decorate since I was not able to oversee the whole operation. Luckily it did not rain, but we were happy that the reception was inside. I cannot thank Kim and Lauren enough for their patience and flexibility. Their pricing is fair and their customer service was superb. Thank you so much TSE for everything!!

One word: Amazing! From a grooms perspective Taylor’d Southern events made wedding planning life a breeze. Kim the wedding planner went above and beyond my expectations really making my life a whole lot easier. It’s all in the details when it comes to weddings and Kim took care of all of them plus the 500 other things you wouldn’t think about, she was amazing. Pictures anyone can do those right…wrong! Lauren and Skylar were the bomb. I have been in a few weddings and I hate the picture process, it’s long, hot, and boring. However, Lauren and Skylar knew exactly what they were doing; turn this way, move closer, on three, it was that fast. In the blink of an eye it was just the bride and I getting pictures during the romantic sunset everyone dreams about on their wedding day. The pictures from our wedding are already hanging in the house because they are so good. Our teaser video was great all of our friends loved it and can’t wait for the full length video to come. Mary Beth was super easy to work with, she knew exactly what she was doing. She made sure to capture all of the special details like cutting the cake and walking down the aisle… but for the grooms sake she made sure she got the good stuff too like our awesome groomsmen dances and spectacular mother son dance so I am sure the full length video will hit a million views. Lastly but a very important part… DJ Rrane, and there is only one thing you need to know about him… He kept the party on fire! We were concerned people wouldn’t dance like a few of the other weddings we had been to, but people never sat down. I swear he even got an eighty year old great grandpa on the dance floor literally about to break a leg. All in all as a groom I don’t know how I would have done it without the whole Taylor’d Southern event team, hiring a DJ from this company and a photographer from that company would have been a nightmare. It was a weekend to remember and one of the best nights of my life all thanks to the TSE team.

I came up with the idea of proposing in front of St.Marks light house and just wasn't sure exactly sure how I wanted everything to happen. I spoke with Lauren from Taylor'd Southern Events and she began planning immediately with her team. I had no idea how it was going to turn out but I had much confidence in them. The day came and I honestly couldn't have possibly imagined it any better. The Taylor'd Southern Events team went above and beyond what they needed to do and it will be a memory I will cherish forever. My fiancée was astonished how everything turned out as well and I don't think either one of us could have asked for more. I would recommend TSE to everyone. They did such a phenomenal job with our video and photos, that I cannot thank them enough. I know, after having our wedding, that one of the most important things that a bride and groom need to look into is their photographer and videographer. That is the only thing, besides your memory, that lasts from that day, until forever. They were able to capture such amazing footage that I did not know was possible. I've never really done any photo shoots or anything, and the way they made us look in these photos were incredible! Some of the shots they took were so amazing, we had about another 5 couples book with them, just based on the two or three photos they saw of us on our wedding day. Not to mention, the prices and their customer service is great. Someone always gets back to me immediately if I call with any questions, and we were shocked that the pricing for photos and videos were not outrageous compared to several other companies. We are so happy we chose them for one of the most important days of our lives. This is truly a great company that I would recommend to anyone!

When I say my wedding day was perfect, I mean it was beyond all of my expectations!!! I know that none of it would have been possible without hiring Lauren and her team for photography, videography, bartending and planning! Lauren is so much more than just an outstanding photographer, she helped guide me through the chaos and questions from the very beginning of our engagement. She then set me up with her lead coordinator Kim, who helped me finalize all of the details, set up and arranged all of our ceremony and reception décor, and even put together over 20 floral arrangements for our tables when time was down to the wire! Kim also coordinated our ceremony and reception which went off without a single hiccup! We had the sweetest and most patient videographer Mary Beth and we CANNOT WAIT to see our video and photos! Our bartender Ricky was so much fun and made some delicious drinks, the biggest hit was his Blue Mermaid, YUM! Not only were my fiancé and family impressed, but my guests were Wow'd with all of the hard work they witnessed first hand! A huge thank you to Lauren and every single one of her staff that helped make our wedding day spectacular!!!!!

Taylor’d Southern Events was amazing! The services I chose with them were photography, wedding planning, DJ and bartending. The whole team was outstanding. I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She was kind and patient, even when some of my bridal party was goofing off during pictures. She definitely made it fun and had new ideas that I didn’t think of. The wedding planner was there for me whenever I needed her, and she always went above and beyond what I asked of her. I couldn’t have made it through that day without her. I told the DJ a few songs I wanted him to play, and left the rest up to him. The music literally had everyone on the dance floor! And the bartender did a fantastic job as well. We rented their bar and it looked awesome. I don’t have single complaint about this company! Well done Taylor’d Southern Events!

Wow! Lauren and her team are unbelievably talented. We have nothing but praises for both, our engagement and wedding photos. Her very vibrant personality quickly makes you feel comfortable. Lauren's creative expertise allows her to see things most photographers miss. She was able to capture all the emotions of our wedding day so that every time we look at our photos, we are able to feel those same emotions. We also used TSE for wedding planning and coordinating. Kim and Danielle are the very best!!! As soon as I started working with Taylor'd Southern Events, I knew it was going to be the best decision! Kim immediately starting scheduling vendor meetings, and having her there with me for every single meeting was beyond helpful – she knew what questions to ask and knew every answer when vendors had questions. Throughout the planning process Kim would regularly send an updated month-by-month task list and a very detailed budget tracker, which kept me on track and saved me so much time. Everyone warned me that the weeks leading up to your wedding can be stressful with updating the vendors on final guest numbers, coordinating day-of schedules, trying to keep track of final payments, etc. but I can honestly say I didn’t have to deal with any of that because of Kim! I truly would not have made it through the planning process without Kim and her team, they helped make our wedding day even more perfect than we ever could’ve imagined!

Lauren and Kim are simply amazing at what they do! I wasn't sure I even needed a wedding planner when we hired Kim, but Lauren assured us she would be worth it, and she was worth every penny! Kim was so friendly and kept us on track throughout the entire planning process to help us bring our perfect day to life. We used Taylor'd Southern Events as a Day-Of -Coordinator. Without a doubt, this was the BEST MONEY we spent on the entire wedding! We already had signed contracts with well-known Tallahassee vendors for the venue, the caterer, the decor, the flowers. But I was nervous about details since I was coordinating the wedding from out of town. Taylor'd Southern Events stepped in and coordinated all our final details with the vendors (including a slide show that was a surprise to the bride and groom.) The day-of details were perfect - our coordinator made sure the bouquets and boutonnieres were at the right place, she helped up us with a minor flower crisis, and she took care of the bridal party before and after the ceremony. If you need a day-of coordinator to pull together your vendors, I totally recommend Lauren's company.

Taylord Southern Events far exceeded my expectations! We used their photography, DJ, and bartending services. Lauren is a very gifted photographer! She made me feel comfortable and was such a pleasure to be around, both personally and professionally. On top of that we ended up with amazing photos! I was so very happy I found this company for my wedding planning. The wedding planner is Lindsey and she is so wonderful. I enjoyed chatting with her about everything I wanted in my wedding and then the day of she was wonderful! There was no hiccups in my wedding..and still to this day everyone tells me how wonderful my wedding was. Lindsey is the one to thank for that. She made everything go so smooth. My wedding was on September 24, and Lauren and Marshall were our photographer and DJ, and they were AMAZING! Before the wedding Lauren carefully coordinated a timeline of events with me, and ensured she had lists of all our important shots/songs/and events for the day-of.

Everything on the wedding day was done as we had planned, they were pleasant and professional, and I truly appreciated Lauren doing everything in her power to ensure all the important images of the day were captured for me, and giving guidance and opinions as the day went to ensure everything photographed beautifully. Lauren and Marshall were one of my favorite parts of our wedding! We didn't have to worry about a thing. They were both a step ahead and allowed me to not have to worry about ANY of the music. It was seriously the least stressful part of the whole process. Not to mention, Marshall is an INCREDIBLE singer. People were coming up to me saying, "Where the heck did you find this guy? He's amazing!" Would recommend this amazing team to anyone planning an event. The price is completely worth the services you get. Marshall, you need to get a gig going and play at areas around town so we can hear you more!!! They were absolutely wonderful to work with the throughout the entire planning stage and had lots of knowledge to offer. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer, not only did she take beautiful pictures but they were very professional. I would definitely recommend them and use them for another event.

Our students had a wonderful time dancing the night away with the lights pulsing to the beat of the music. Marshall and Lauren made the evening a blast and great success!

Taylor'd Southern Events was great!!! She worked wonderfully with my family and showed so much patience with my young son. Her props were well made and set up very artfully. I will request them again.

Booking Taylor'd Southern Events was a life safer for me! They were so much more than a photographer and DJ. Lauren helped me with nearly everything for my wedding. From day one she helped me coordinate everything, organize all the wedding planning details, and provided so much information. They were always very quick to respond to every email, text and phone call. I ended up renting everything for my wedding from them as well. The photos turned out so beautiful! And the DJ did an amazing job singing during our ceremony and reception. They both did an amazing job and made my life so much easier!

Lauren and Marshall are wonderful! Lauren took the most beautiful photographs of my wedding. Seriously, some of them look like they're out of a magazine. She has an excellent eye for photography and her editing is beautiful and soft. Marshall performed twice at my wedding. He performed an acoustic version of "All of Me" by John Legend and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. His version is better than the original and my guests are still talking about how beautiful and special it was. Lauren also just recently sent me Marshall's recorded version of the song and I am so thankful to have it! I have recommended Lauren and Marshall to others and will continue to do so!

I ended up using Taylor'd Southern Events for Month of Coordination. I met with Lauren and the coordinator I'd be working with, Danielle, and one meeting with them made me feel like it was the right choice. Working with this team was easy and having Danielle on hand in the last month of planning made the process so much easier. She helped me manage so many of my final tasks and kept me on track and I could not have done it without her! She was such a pleasure to work with, organized, so sweet, and just fit right in with me and my girls on my big day!
