Mother and father of the bride

Christian was out choice from the first time we spoke to him. He was so easy to work with and so willing to please. He kept our daughter's reception rocking all night long. Everyone had so much fun. Even the older crowd danced the night away! His lighting made out room look so pretty. Thank you, Christian, thank you!

5K Fund Raising event

In spite of the averse weather conditions, heavy rain, DJ's did an excellent job preforming for our 5K fund raising running event. Played appropriate music for our audience and everyone love "Baby Shark."

Taurus DJ was a really awesome and amazing DJ. I told him my situation and he was so understanding. He was so good to work with always on time with everything. Great August 2021 Wedding DJ

Christian was the DJ for me and my new husband's wedding this past August and we have nothing but great things to say about him! He was more than accommodating and offered multiple times to arrive early to help out in any way he could. I think it's always a slight worry for the couple that guests will not dance at your wedding but Christian took all that away the moment he started playing music. My guests had so much fun and danced all night. If you want a professional, competent and affordable DJ - go with Taurus DJs!

Dance the night away!

This is coming a few years after our wedding in 2018 and the reason I am writing this is because my wife and I still find our selves talking about how amazing Christian was as our wedding Dj. We had a few songs that we wanted to hear but honestly we just let him do his thing, and we were not disappointed! He played perfect song after perfect song keeping people on the dance floor all night long. Friends and family have all mentioned (even years later) how incredible it was when, just at the right time Christian plays bohemian rhapsody and got the entire reception.. nearly 200 people singing together. It was a moment that we will never ever forget! Very professional, great price, and a true master.

When it comes to your big day don’t leave anything to chance, you need people out on the dance floor! Christian Is your man.

Intuitive and Professional

Chris was our DJ for our wedding and was so accommodating and professional. His response time was quick. We gave him maybe 3 songs at most that we wanted him to play for us during the first dance, cake cutting and introductions, and nothing else - He was able to read the crowd, switched up a song if it wasn't vibing and did a SPECTACULAR job. We received so many compliments about the atmosphere and vibe our DJ presented, and we had a great time dancing the night away! 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing Wedding DJ

Christian helped us out so much by responding to a last minute date and coordinated all the details with us perfectly. He kept in touch at all times! We will definitely recommend to all who need a DJ!

Amazing!!!

Christian was AMAZING! We had bad storms rolling in all night long and even with every power surge he was quick to get the dance floor going again. When we had to completely reorganize the reception and dance floor, mid- reception he was happy to move right along with it to keep everyone dancing and having fun! I would absolutely recommend him!!

Danced the night away!

Christian was great to work with and super accommodating. He answered every single one of my questions and even helped me to find a missing piece for my vision. He's well worth the price and his professionalism is unmatched. He had guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT with little to no playlist (besides first dance, etc.) provided by myself and my now husband. We asked him to feel out the crowd and boy did he deliver. We still have people talking about what a great time they had. Thank you again SO MUCH for being such an important part of our wedding day. We couldn't have done it without you!

Awesome Experience - Wedding Reception DJ

Christian Felon of Taurus DJ provides the music for our wedding reception. Christian is professional, flexible, helpful, and humble. We were impressed with his help in planning the songs, executing our vision for the entertainment during the reception, and his ability to navigate between indoor and outdoor settings throughout the event. His price for his service was in our budget and very reasonable. We highly recommend Christian as a DJ for your special occasion.

Excellent!!!

My husband and I loved being able to hire small businesses for our wedding. DJ Taurus is a teacher like me, so this was a no-brainer for us! His planning sheet was easy to follow and we had fun picking out songs that we wanted to hear, and also added on some dedications to certain people for some of the songs. He was super helpful in giving us lists to brainstorm some ideas for songs. We would highly recommend his services.

Christian did a great job getting all of our guests out on the dance floor. Every generation was dancing from the grandmas to the toddlers. He helped the wedding reception stay on schedule. If you want everyone at your wedding to have a good time -- book Christian!

Christian Felan was the dj at my daughter, Jacky's wedding. He played all of our request and also had a very good selection of music to get people on their feet and dancing. Very good personality and good sense of humor. The sound was perfect and we would recommend him to anyone at any age!!

My husband and I for the most part left the music up to Christian, we knew a few songs we wanted played but trusted Christian to pick the rest. He did not disappoint! He really kept the energy going the whole night and did a great job at keeping everything on schedule. He was very quick to respond anytime we had any questions. We would absolutely recommend Christian as a DJ to anyone for their wedding or any other event. Thank you for your part in making our day perfect!

I could not have had a more perfect night and Christian was a huge part of it. He was polite, flexible, and very understanding. My maid of honor is an event coordinator in Boston, MA and she said he was one of the best vendors she has worked with. I would highly recommended him to any bride, groom, or to anyone that needs a dj at their event.

Christian (Taurus DJs) was an absolute pleasure to work with, and he well-exceeded our expectations as our wedding DJ. He arrived early to set up before the wedding, and made it his priority to coordinate his services with our other vendors at the wedding. Many of our wedding guests commented on how they were impressed with Christian's efforts to make sure that everything flowed smoothly. Christian paid attention to important details throughout our wedding, as we saw him re-stocking our drink coolers when he noticed they were running low on drinks, and he was attentive to our other vendors and photographers throughout the wedding to see if he could bring them anything. Christian lead the master of ceremonies with warmth and charisma, and was very accommodating to our suggestions. When the reception began, he was great at reading the crowd on the dance floor for his song selections. During our dollar-dance, he played moderate to slow songs that guests of all ages could keep in rhythm with. He stuck with the genres that my wife and I wanted to hear, and he kept everyone dancing until the very end of the reception. His setup was top-notch, and the sound quality was fantastic. His professionalism and friendly personality left a lasting impression on my wife and I, in addition to many of our guests who have told us so. We were very grateful to have him as our wedding DJ! Christian was very flexible with us. We had specific playlists in mind we wanted him to play and he was more than accommodating to our needs. He was very responsive to us when we emailed and asked questions we didn't think of. He also didn't need much guidance from us, so it made things very easy for planning. We made a few changes and additions at the last minute and he was able to make these for us very quickly! Because of his responsiveness and great reviews, he was actually booked for my sister-in-laws wedding as well. He's a great choice for wedding day!

Christian was a great addition to our wedding! He played all the music we asked him to and didn't play any of the music on our do-not-play list. Everyone was dancing until the evening ended, which was exactly what we wanted. We have heard nothing but good things from our guests since the wedding and are thoroughly pleased with our decision to hire Christian!

He is so friendly and easy to work with!
He played all the songs we wanted, yet knew how to add new/cool songs to the mix and really vibe with the crowd! The uplighting was a great addition that really gave it a great party feel!

Christian was a great DJ. Played our songs and a few others we didn't think of. Wasn't overpowering with the mic. Made quick announcements we asked for and kept the dance floor packed all night!

Christian did an amazing job at our wedding! Such a great choice going with him. Because of the distance we asked to video chat with him, and he was more than willing to do so. He was easy to work with and made us feel like all the music and announcing would be handled just fine. Not only that, but he was half the cost of other DJ's! Throughout the wedding he checked in to make sure we were happy, and we definitely were! He did an awesome job tying in some of our favorite southern rock and country songs, while playing other genres to keep our guests happy. If we had to choose again, we would without a doubt. Thank you Christian!!

We could not be more happy with the job Christian did DJ'ing our wedding. From the get-go he was incredibly responsive, willing to meet with us anywhere, anytime to address our questions, and accommodated all of our requests with joy.
He's an extremely chill, easy going, and laid back guy but is serious about his business and does a terrific job. Without question, the best bang for your buck for a DJ in the DMV. Not only has he earned all of the 5 star ratings you see on his page, but he is very reasonable as well (almost half the price of the other DJ's we met with in the area).
He helped to make our wedding night so special and we would recommend him 100 times out of 100 to DJ another wedding.

Taurus DJs was absolutely fantastic for our wedding. He was professional, easy to work with, fun, entertaining, and fantastic at mixing. While he comes across as very laid back, he is definitely a stickler for details, and follows through to perfection. We asked him to also do our Ceremony Music, and he was on point with everything from the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the reception. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to come through at this level of professionalism, and if I had it all over, I would have chosen him 100 times out of 100. Well done, triple A+++

Christian was the DJ for our wedding couple weeks ago. We met with a couple DJs and ended up liking how laid back and accommodating Christian was from the start. He was also willing to work with our budget which was extremely important to us. He was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and showed up an hour early to make sure everything was set up properly and ready to go. The music was fun and lively and our guests seemed to have a good time. He listened to our requests and played everything from our list (I think!). He was even willing to stay a little longer when we weren't willing to end the night! I'd definitely use Taurus DJs again in the future.

Thanks for a great party!

Christian was very prompt, responsive, and helpful. The lists of songs he provides you are very helpful in generating a playlist. The price was extraordinary as well! Christian was so helpful in making sure the day went smooth and without error. Christian also knew when the audience wasn't feeling the song and would change it up and keep the pace! I couldn't have imagined a better DJ for my important day!

Christian was absolutely wonderful to work with! From the beginning he made it clear that it was our wedding and adjusted his playlist and music to fit our needs and tastes. He worked directly off of the list we provided and created a playlist that was perfect, playing wonderful songs we had not even considered. He also took guest requests into consideration, and played music to keep people on the dance floor. He even made adjustments to the playlist as late as the night before the wedding! I highly recommend Christian--such a nice, friendly person and a wonderful DJ! Thank you Christian!

Taurus DJs did an absolutely fantastic job as the DJ and Master of Ceremonies at our daughter's wedding reception. Well before the ceremony, he met with the bride and groom to help them develop a "play list" (and a "don't play" list!) that was just what they wanted. He also went out of his way to find all of the special songs that they wanted played. He arrived on time and had everything set up and ready to go before the guests arrived. The sound system was first rate, and the music sounded great. He was witty and charming with the microphone and got the crowd up and dancing without upstaging the bride and groom in any way. We could not have asked for a better DJ experience for the most important day of our daughter's life!

Christian emceed our reception and helped to keep the party going when our band was on break. He kick started the reception with our introductions. In the planning phase, he provided helpful feedback when we were trying to pick out our cocktail hour music and intro songs. He worked well with our planner to ensure that the reception timeline was followed. Christian played music that he knew would get our crowd going, including building off of our introduction song. The transitions from band to DJ were seamless. Usually crowds disperse when the band goes on break, but Christian made sure it was only the band that took a break. He helped ensure our guests had a great time!

Taurus DJ's was phenomenal. Working with them was easy and he worked great with our venue and photographer. He also made perfect announcements and got the dance floor going with a fairly quiet group. All of our requests were met and our expectations were exceeded. The DJ helped make this the perfect event.

Christian was absolutely perfect!! Our wedding last Saturday Sept 28th couldn't have been a success without him. He dressed the part as a professional but is also a man of his word.
We will definitely be asking him to DJ our next event. He had a perfect selection of music and announced our wedding party as a true professional and kept us on schedule. He is the best kept secret in Northern VA, as far as DJ's are concerned. He is by far the best. After our reception our guests were complimenting on who and where we found the DJ and wanted to know where they can book him....I'm glad and proud to say he dj' d our wedding. You won't be disappointed.

Having Christian as our DJ was the single best investment we made. I mean it. He was kind, funny, friendly, laid back but attentive, and so knowledgeable about the whole process. We didn't know what we were doing, so he gave us a list to mark out our favorites, do not plays, etc. and any extra songs we thought up. He made planning so much fun and so easy for us. He wanted to give us as much control as we wanted to have or to take care of as much as we wanted him to.

With Christian there, we had no need for a wedding coordinator. He directed everyone by our request to throw rice as we entered, coordinated tables going up to the buffet, and worked well with the catering/venue staff. We asked him to use his judgment for timing of the cake and bouquet toss instead of naming a time. He watched the crowd and just as people needed a breather, called for the cake cutting. The venue had to actually kick us out because everyone continued dancing past our allotted time.

Our guests of all ages danced and laughed the ENTIRE time. I've never seen anything like it. In the months since, we’ve had every guest we've spoken to tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Every guest. We both know that it was because of what Christian did.

Our guests knew it too (he'll try to say that it was all the great songs we picked—but we know it's how he put it together and paid attention to the crowd that made the difference!) In fact, in the last year, two other couples who were at our wedding asked him to do their wedding, too. (Both of those a blast, too!) We want all of our friends to use him so we can go to his parties.

In all seriousness, you absolutely could not do better for a DJ than Christian. We were so blessed to have met him, and he simply made our wedding exactly what we wanted: a fun, joyful, party that everyone can't stop talking about. Thank you so much, Christian. You're the best.

Christian was GREAT! As a recommended vendor for Ceresville Mansion where we had our reception, we knew he would be awesome, and as we researched more and more DJ's, we discovered how afforable he was as well compared to other DJ services in the DC area. We initially met to discuss what we were looking for and he was extremely flexible and we felt comfortable knowing he could be whatever kind of DJ we wanted him to be. We met again before the wedding and discussed the type of music more in depth. During the reception he arrived early, announced everything perfectly for the entrance and played great music all night. He went off how the guests were acting/what they were responding to and played music based on that. Guests danced all night! It was awesome! I would highly recommend Christian to friends. - I actually already have - and they were as pleased as I was. Thanks for such a FUN wedding !!!

With Christian, everything went incredibly. He worked with us ahead of time to make sure everything was perfect. Our set list included a number of non-traditional songs which he was happy to acquire for us. He was very well prepared, both leading up to an during the wedding. He's a great DJ at almost any price and, at his current rates, I don't think you'll ever find someone better. Definitely recommend without any reservations.

If you are looking for a mature, professional, and experienced DJ, Christian Felan with Taurus DJs is the way to go! Christian was the DJ at our wedding last month and he was awesome! He met with us 2 times before our wedding and made us feel comfortable from the very first meeting. Don't let Christian's quiet demeanor fool you -- he is incredibly lively behind the microphone and kept everyone entertained the entire evening! As soon as dinner ended, Christian immediately got everyone hyped up and onto the dance floor. Christian was so great -- we got him to play an extra half-hour because our guests did not want to stop dancing (which is a good sign of a party!)!! He is a bargain and worth every penny! We highly recommend Christian to everyone and anyone!

The dancing at our reception NEVER ended! Our guests continue to tell us what an awesome time they had. Hardly anyone left the dance floor, and if they did it was only to cool off and grab a drink:) All of my requests, as well as my guests requests were played. When the time line for my 1st dances, cake cutting, and toasts changed our deejay's flexibility was priceless. I would highly recommend Christian to anyone looking for a deejay. We will definitely keep him in mind for any other big event we might be throwing:) We got exactly what we wanted at an awesome price:)

We had Christian DJ for our wedding reception, and let me just say that he was absolutely amazing from start to finish! I met him at a friend's wedding and knew that he was the guy I wanted to use at ours. From the moment I first spoke with him, he was nothing but helpful. He had answers to any questions I had, and he kept in touch just to see how things were going even when we didn't need anything. During the reception he played all the right music, and everyone was dancing even after it was time to shut things down. I got nothing but wonderful comments about him from our guests and we would definitely hire him again and recommend him to our friends. Christian was the DJ for our wedding. We had wanted to do an iPod wedding but decided somewhat last-minute to book a DJ. I talked to a lot of DJs who sounded really cheesy, which was not what we wanted. Christian is a normal guy who just likes to DJ! He was happy for us to have as little or as much influence as we wanted in the song selections, and he helped us figure out how to schedule out the reception, which was really helpful.

I am SO glad that we booked Taurus DJs! After the husband/wife and parent/child dances, the dance floor was PACKED for the whole night! We got many compliments during and after the reception about our great DJ. He played all our song choices and didn't play anything from our do not play list. He also made sure our slideshow got played during the cocktail hour. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Christian was very flexible, his service was reasonably priced for our area, and he did a great job the day of the wedding! Overall, he was easy to plan with and is a very genuine person. He gave us good advice scheduling our reception, but at the same time recognized the importance of it being "our day." I've already recommended him to one of my best friends, who is getting married this fall, and he is dj-ing her wedding too!

Christian was very professional, yet he provided a personal touch to our wedding. He arrived well before the scheduled event time and had everything set up and ready to go. He met with us several times before the event to discuss our music preferences, scheduling and name pronunciation. Finally, and most wonderful of all, my husband had not chosen a song to for the Mother-Son dance. Christian was able to choose a song spur of the moment right before they hit the dance floor that suited Gabe’s personality and his relationship with his mother, and the guest’s (including myself!) were none the wiser. He read the mood of the guests during the reception perfectly and played the appropriate songs. He also took care of the ceremony music and timed everything PERFECTLY! I wanted my entrance to a song to be at 00:51 seconds. Christian hit the nail right on the head! He was an incredible value and my husband and I heartily recommend him!

Christian was a true professional, and yet was kind enough to work with a crazy working bride's schedule. The value for cost was amazing. I thought Christian did a great job at our wedding. He was very helpful as the night went on and helped us stay on time with all our "events." In terms of cost vs. quality I don't think I could have gotten more "bang for the buck."
He did a good job on the mic and was extremely friendly with our guests who had requested songs. Of course, he squeezed in all the songs my wife and I wanted, we couldn't have asked for more.

Christian was easy to communicate and plan with in preparation for my daughter's wedding. On meeting him for the first time he was very friendly and we felt comfortable with him and knew we wanted to work with him as our DJ. He was very patient with us and was willing to play whatever music my daughter wanted and even went out of his way to find the music she wanted that he did not have in his collection of music. His style is professional and very accomandating to our wishes and needs. He did a great job managing our reception timeline/schedule as well. His music selections were great which kept our guests dancing, even those that usually don't dance.

His equipment was appropriate in size and style for our venue. He had a wireless mic that helped when the toasts were given. Christian dressed in a nice suit and was professional and friendly to our guests all evening.

I highly recommend Christian to anyone who wants a friendly outstanding DJ for a wedding reception or any occasion that would warrant a DJ. I feel we got all we wanted and more at a very affordable price. Thanks again Christian we enjoyed working with you.

Working with Christian was an absolute pleasure. Quick to respond, flexible and professional, he made us feel at ease with the DJ portion of our wedding planning. The night before, I lost track of his text and he made sure to reach out to me again to ensure we got in touch.

The Perfect, Stress-free Night!

Christian was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process! He was always quick to get back to me and was super flexible, whether I needed to change his hours last minute or didn't get the songs to him until the morning of the wedding. I knew the whole time that my wedding was in the hands of a professional, and I got to sit back and relax knowing he had it handled. Would highly recommend Christian and Taurus DJs to anyone!

Great DJ and So Easy to work with!

Christian was really wonderful when he performed at the Brady Valcho Autism Foundation's annual event for kids with autism! He kept the crowds happy and the kids had the best time. He is very professional and easy to work with! Highly recommend his services!! 5 Stars!!!

As a whole, Christian was a pretty great DJ for our wedding! He always answered emails, was open to conference calls, and very flexible with changes. The one thing that my husband and I were not very happy with was the volume of the music during the wedding party introductions - it wasn't loud enough for the wedding party to hear. My parents were excited to come out to a song they chose so that they could dance through their intro and they couldn't even hear the music. Honestly, overall, it ended up fine and we didn't even realize this until we watched the wedding video a few weeks later. He honored our play lists, played requests, and the volume was better for the rest of the evening... I'm guessing that was just a glitch at the beginning of the night. I wish there were no glitches, but it happens. Overall, a good DJ to consider for your event!

Christian was easy to communicate and plan with in preparation for our wedding. He managed me (an overwhelmed, overjoyed bride) with a gentle and patient style so that we didnt miss anything that we had planned for the evening. His style is professional and wedding-appropriate and did a great job managing our reception timeline/schedule as well. His music selections were right-on which kept our guests up and dancing for hours.

His equipment was appropriate in size and style for our venue. I was also impressed with his appearance: he wore a nice suit for the evening.

Happy birthday event

Christian was a phenomenal DJ! He communicated with us well before the actual party. Arrived on time, and Set up quickly. Everyone loved the music and he was able to read the dance floor exceptionally well! Highly recommend for any event! No matter how big or how small! Would definitely hire again!

Doesn't follow basic instructions

This guy was terrible. When I had my initial consultation, I told him that I didn't want a DJ because they talk too much and play terrible music, and I just really, really didn't want to hear the song "Shout" at my wedding. He said all the right things, assuring me that many of his clients give him Spotify playlists and he sticks to those playlists and doesn't take requests if the couple doesn't want them.

So I hired him and told him that's what I wanted to do - make a spotify playlist and DO NOT go off playlist. Seems simple enough, right? I emailed him the playlist, and he seemed to ignore it, so I sent him another email saying DO NOT go off playlist, AND I called my wedding coordinator and asked her to call him and say do not go off playlist.

The wedding starts and he plays Ave Maria during the preparation of communion. Not a huge huge deal but like have you ever been to a religious ceremony before?????

But what really killed me is that he went off playlist during the dancing. YOU LITERALLY HAD ONE JOB. Then he played Shout. Which was the ONLY SONG I TOLD HIM NOT TO PLAY.

Then he sent me the most condescending email in which he blamed ME for his playing Shout because, he said, I didn't give him a list of songs not to play. Which of course I didn't, dude, because I TOLD YOU THREE TIMES NOT TO GO OFF PLAYLIST. YOU HAD ONE JOB.

His excuse was that one of my friends had approached him and said *I* had asked him to "play more modern stuff." I do not believe this story, but even if it is true, he had the wedding coordinator's number to text her, and he should have considering I told him three times, unequivocally, not to go off playlist. And EVEN if that were true, HOW IS SHOUT MORE MODERN??

Taurus DJs was, without a doubt, the very worst vendor I hired.
