The Best Ever!! We could not be happier that we used Tauri Baum Photography for our wedding and engagement photos. Tauri is the sweetest and most helpful person. Even when everything had to change due to Covid19, Tauri was amazing and captured our day beautifully. We highly recommend, and can't wait to work with her again! -

Tauri is absolutely incredible! I knew after my first phone call with her that I wanted to choose her for my wedding photography. She is organized, calm, and sweet but also knows how to take charge during your large group photos. She made us feel so comfortable during our engagement session, that we were pros with poses on our wedding day. I am so grateful for the flexibility she gave us, as we had to move our wedding to a backyard due to the pandemic: the one thing I never felt stressed about while changing our wedding plans was around receiving amazing photos! I was so incredibly happy with the variety of photos and poses we received. You will be so happy you chose Tauri as your photographer: you will gain amazing photos and a new friend! -

Amazing Photographer and Person
We are so grateful to have found Tauri. She first did our engagement photos and right away, we knew we made the right choice in booking her. Not only is she an absolutely INCREDIBLE photographer, but she is an amazing human. She’s kind, caring, and so so friendly. She treats you like a best friend right away which makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable. We have been receiving non-stop compliments on our wedding photos. You will not regret booking with Tauri!! She is truly one of a kind! -

It is hard to put into words how amazing of a photographer Tauri Baum is! My husband and I met Tauri at my brother and sister-in-law's wedding and knew from just speaking to her that she was the kindest and sweetest person around. We knew she would be our wedding photographer one day, and she was the first person we contacted once we were engaged! To show even more how much we wanted her a part of our day, we live in North Carolina and she lives in Michigan! Also, we called her when checking wedding venues and picked our place and date based off of her availability. When I say she is that amazing, SHE IS! Tauri and her husband Brian made our day so magical. They took care of us, laughed with us, made sure everything is just the way you want it, cried with us, carried a veil and lipstick if needed, and took our breath away when we received just a few photos back. Looking back on our photos we can relive every moment, memory, and feeling all thanks to Tauri. She was not only an amazing photographer with her husband, but just an amazing couple all around. It didn't feel like just another vendor there, but two friends joining in on your special day and making it even more magical! If you are thinking about having her as your photographer, seriously think no more because I promise you she is the one!!! -

Tauri was the first person we booked after deciding on our date. She had photographed the wedding of a friend of mine, and I was just in love with the pictures. And now I am absolutely in love with my own wedding pictures as well!! Tauri is such a sweetheart and was so helpful throughout the planning process, providing expertise and support with all things wedding related. We especially appreciated that the engagement session is a part of all her packages. She teaches you basic poses that really make you feel more confident and comfortable in front of the camera. My husband has always been self-conscious with pictures, but he felt totally at ease. We love Tauri and would hire her a thousand times over!! -

I do not know where to begin in my love for Tauri!
Tauri from the day I met with her for coffee was so incredibly organized and passionate about my fiance and I, our engagement, and our wedding day! Tauri was so timely in responses, any advice we would need or hadn't even thought of, and all of our images from engagement shots to wedding photos!! My fiance and I received so many little notes and words of joy throughout the planning process that truly eased any stress we may have had! We truly felt as though we were good friends with Tauri, and it was sincerely a ray of joy and peace on our wedding day having her by our side every step of the way.
And to top it off, my husband who is not really a picture person mentioned many times he truly HAD FUN taking pictures with me and Tauri!! This girl is a miracle worker!!
I could go on and on how much of a blessing Tauri was throughout our engagement and on our wedding day. I cannot wait to follow all the continued joy she brings to other couples -

Best photographer ever
Tauri was the best choice that I made during my wedding planning! I searched forever for the perfect photographer who fit my style and budget. When I first scrolled across Tauri's website, I loved her bright/airy/happy/candid style of photos. She was the first and only photographer we met with- we loved that she was our age and that she was so easy to chat with...I remember thinking that I totally wouldn't mind having her follow us around throughout our whole wedding day. Tauri was always an email or text away and was so quick and friendly to respond. She also sends the sweetest gifts throughout the planning. She helped to plan a timeline for the wedding day, basically without Tauri we would've been lost! On the wedding day, Tauri and her husband Brian fit in so perfectly! They communicated well with me, dealt with hiccups with the timeline, made all poses feel natural, and grabbed my veil & shoes that I left behind before the ceremony. We were actually so bummed when it was time for them to leave, and would've loved if they stuck around and celebrated with us as friends! After the wedding, Tauri was so quick to post a blog post and send me lots of her favorite sneak peak pictures before sending us the full gallery with more than 1000 photos! I would recommend Tauri to every engaged couple- she's the BEST! -

Words can't express how much I would recommend Tauri. She is AMAZING. Not only was she prompt, easy to work with, SUPER responsive, and UNBELIEVABLY talented - she makes you like you're with your best friend. Both my husband and I felt genuinely cared for and that she was invested in helping make our wedding a beautiful, memorable experience. I would choose her again in a heartbeat!! -

Ellie Sent on 10/06/2018I honestly don’t know where to start.... Tauri as a person is kind, smart, thoughtful and joyful. As a photographer, she is all of those things AND professional, organized, creative, flexible, and sooooo talented. When my husband and I got engaged the first thing I said to him was “we have to book Tauri”... there was absolutely no hesitation or question in my mind that I wanted her to capture our big day. In fact I was willing to move our wedding date if it meant getting her. Tauri and I have been friends since we were kids but that is not why we HAD TO HAVE HER. We chose her because she takes gorgeous photos and truly was invested in our relationship and marriage. And let me tell you, I am forever grateful we chose her. The minute you book her you become a Tauri Baum Bride... and that’s the greatest club I’ve ever belonged to. She cares so deeply for her couples and truly goes above and beyond in every way. She sent fun notes and little gifts in the mail throughout the year leading up to the wedding (even a dog treat for our pup Bailey), helped plan timelines, gave advice on anything and everything from bridesmaid colors to doughnut flavors, and sent sweet words of encouragement when i was feeling overwhelmed with planning. She truly loves what she does and you can see it not only through the planning process but in the BEAUTIFUL photos she captures. I want to shout from the rooftops how much I adore Tauri (and Brian- greatest guy and second shooter around) and tell every single person I can to book this fabulous woman. Tauri and Brian, thank you for EVERYTHING. Thank you for being a great example of a strong marriage, for being wonderful friends and phenomenal photographers. There are not enough words to express the gratitude and love Jordan and I have for the two of you.

Stephanie Sent on 05/23/2018I’m not sure where to even start with Tauri then to simply say that SHE IS THE BEST. Stop reading now and book her before your date is full! From the second we got off our first Facetime with Tauri we knew it was meant to be. Tauri is professional, friendly, and so supportive through the ENTIRE wedding planning process. She helped us set a timeline, answered my million questions about things outside of photos, coordinated with our other vendors to make sure everything was in place, and made me feel completely at ease with everything (even with planning out of state). More than all of these things, over the months of planning Tauri truly became a friend to us. She sent us the sweetest notes and treats leading up to the wedding, and was always only a text message away. Believe it or not, all of these things were what took place BEFORE the wedding itself. The day of the wedding Tauri and Brian (her husband who co-shoots with her) were absolute Godsends. They showed up, took charge and everything went flawlessly. Despite the on and off rain, they captured the most gorgeous pictures and never became flustered or stressed (unlike myself…). Their calm kept me calm throughout the entire day and I truly don’t think that things could have gone more seamlessly; their teamwork to capture photos is amazing. I don’t know how she did it, but after only a couple of days she had a blog post up for our wedding, and nearly 200 pictures already edited and sent to me that took me right back to the day and made me cry! Once you get to know Tauri, you realize how it is truly meant to be that she is a photographer. She knows how to capture each and every moment of your day, doesn’t miss a beat, and it is evident that she loves what she does. Tauri makes the process relaxing, fun, and natural. I could go on and on for pages about how wonderful she is, and words can’t describe how INCREDIBLY thankful Chris and I feel to have randomly found her on Instagram.

Rene Sent on 08/15/2018Tauri is amazing to work with and gave us great tips/recommendations throughout the planning process. The engagement session was really fun and a great way to get used to the different poses, allowing us to feel less awkward on the wedding day!
Tauri traveled to Chicago for our wedding - so it was a new city/new venue for her to shoot in. You would never have known - she is very professional and will take the time to make sure everything is perfect. We also got married on a freezing cold day in January, but somehow she made us look totally comfortable in our outdoor photos! :)
Tauri truly cares about her couples, making them feel comfortable, and also delivering on the final product! We could not be happier with our engagement and wedding photos - she captured each moment and emotion perfectly. -

Amanda Sent on 07/18/2017Tauri was a fantastic photographer. Her style is so bright, fun, and sharp. We are so happy with our photographs and can't wait to have them displayed in our house for all of our family and friends to see. It is obvious from the moment you meet Tauri that she is skilled and educated at what she does. She also has a great eye and plenty of suggestions for posing. I'm so glad that she offers engagement sessions with her wedding packages. It was a great way to get to know her and get comfortable being in front of the camera. When the day of the wedding came, we trusted her completely. She was great about making sure she knew what our expectations were for our photography and what were the essential photos so she wouldn't miss those parts of our day.
She is so much more than just a photographer - she was an integral part of our whole wedding planning process. She was so helpful with the timeline, detail suggestions, and just someone to check in with to bounce ideas off of along the way! She was very responsive to questions and speedy with picture delivery, too! She has a great social media presence and made it so fun to follow along with all of the sneak peaks and photos she'd provide here and there until the actual delivery of all of our pictures. I will be recommending her to anyone I know in need of a photographer.
