  Home baked goodness !

  The wedding cake was simple and beautiful just as we imagined. We had two kinds of cupcakes. One was chocolate with expresso frosting and the other lemon and vanilla frosting. Everyone couldn't get enough of the cupcakes. Taste by Spellbound is amazing ! Don't think twice and book a tasting now.

  Miriam and the crew at Taste by Spellbound are amazing!! I sent an email inquiring about a wedding cake and cupcakes and got a response right away which impressed me because it is a busy little shop! My fiance and I stopped in to sample some cupcakes and that was all it took to determine that this was the place! We placed an order with Miriam that day. We did a two tier wedding cake and lots of cupcakes! After receiving responses we had to cut the cupcake order and its place we got dozens of delicious cookies. Miriam was very accommodating.   Best desserts ever

  We used Taste by Spellbound for our wedding cake & desserts and our guests still rave about the cupcakes & macaroons. They hands down have the best macaroons & their red velvet is to die for. My husband and I have visited the bakery now more times than we’d like to admit. Everyone there is so friendly & will help you pick out the best treats. I highly recommend stopping by one of the three locations & if you’re looking for a dessert vendor for your wedding, look no more, Taste by Spellbound is the one.

  Perfection

  I could not have been happier with this vendor. Everything was presented with excellence and perfection, and we received nonstop compliments on the desserts from all the weddings guests. Thank you Taste By Spellbound!

  My now-husband and I have totally different tastebuds—mine are basic and his are exotic. For that reason, I was nervous about selecting our wedding cake, but Miriam had such amazing options during our tasting! She was recommended to me as a must-have vendor from my dad's girlfriend, and I have to agree. We ended up going for a champagne cake with a different filling for each tier and it was AMAZING. So amazing, in fact, that we decided not to save our top tier for our one-year anniversary—we ate it on our honeymoon, and gave the rest to my husband's family because we couldn't bring it with us back home.

  Miriam did an outstanding job on our wedding cupcakes and our wedding cut cake. We had four different flavors of cupcakes (each were great!) and our wedding cake was so good we had to go back for more than just the standard wedding bite.

  Miriam is definitely an up and coming baker who does beautiful work. In our initial meeting, she we tasted 3 cakes and 3 frosting, all of which were amazing. We discussed our vision, showed her pictures and she was very receptive. We also made some adjustments close to the wedding and she was accommodating. The final cake was so beautiful and had a whimsical vibe that was really fun. She has a lot of work samples on her website. She also doesn't work with things like fondant which suited our taste well. She also also does cakes for other occasions and has a shop full of truffles and macaroons. Highly recommended. PS. The cake was so good, there was not a slice left!

  My fiance never really cared that much about the wedding cake, so much so that we really just wanted a cake for the traditional "cake cutting" pictures. We got to Taste by Spellbound, and we just picked out some flavors that intrigued us, not even trying it ourselves. We looked at some pictures of cakes they have done, and they quickly were able to write down what we wanted for the look of it. Fast forward to the day of...wow! When we actually tried the cake on our wedding day, it was SO good. Additionally, it was beautiful and the bakers worked with one of my friends on the day of that involved putting flowers on the cake. They were really great throughout that process and the cake was absolutely stunning!

  Best Cake!!

  Taste by Spellbound is an incredible bakery! We had guests tell us their cake was the best tasting cake they'd ever had. It also looks gorgeous! Their team creates beautiful buttercream designs (they made a perfect wooden log design for the bottom tier of our cake to go with our fall theme!). We also had a wonderful experience with the tasting where they let us try the different sponges, fillings, and frosting together so we could truly get an idea of what everything would taste like.

  Unfortunately, the one problem with Taste By Spellbound is flexibility. They will not deliver your cake to your venue if it is less than 3 tiers. We also had a miscommunication about asking them for a rainbow cake. We asked if they could make a rainbow cake, which has been a trend in baking for a few years now, where the cake contains seven layers, each of a different color sponge, creating a rainbow. They told us later that they misunderstood, and could only do that in frosting on the outside, which wouldn't have provided the effect we were looking for during the cake cutting. The reason they said they don't do the rainbow cake we wanted is because the colors come out "splotchy" with their cake. Because of this, and the fact that we needed both gluten free and vegan cupcakes (they do not offer vegan), we had to go with a different baker for the cake cutting cake and the cupcakes. We obviously still love this bakery, and did enjoy the cake we ordered from them, but if you are hiring them for a wedding you should be aware that they know their strengths and what they prefer to do, and if you don't see a design you like on their website they most likely will not do it. And if it's a smaller wedding, you will be picking up the cake yourself.
