Amazing experience!
I can't speak highly enough of Tashena and her work! The quality of her work is amazing, we were blown away by both our engagement and wedding photos. Not only is she incredibly talented but she is an absolute joy to work with. Her warm personality helped us both feel at ease in front of the camera and her soothing words meant so much to me, helping me to relax on the wedding day. She is very responsive, replying with a thoughtful answer to all of my questions leading up to the wedding day and helped me feel at ease by working with me to create a relaxed-pace timeline for the day. Her photos speak for themselves, the photos are are gorgeous and really showcase her talents, but it's her genuine and kind nature as well as her professionalism and dedication to her craft that make her an exceptional photographer! -

Amazing all around!
Not only did I have grad photos done, but I also had family photos done. The outcome of the photos were amazing, I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. On top of this, Tashena made the moments comfortable and memorable. This was my first time getting photos professionally done and I would highly recommend this photographer to capture your special moments. She is so kind and passionate about capturing your moment and I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience. Thank you again!! -

Tashena was nothing but warm and professional from our first contact with her. We had a beautiful engagement session with her (included in the cost of booking our wedding) where we got to know her and get comfortable- so there was no awkwardness on our big day. She returns photos quickly and makes them super easy to download for yourself and your family. She is experienced with weddings and knows just what moments to capture, but also will make sure you feel prepared leading up to the day! She made everything seamless and easy, and most importantly, the photos turned out PHENOMENALLY!! I can't stop looking through the gallery, truly she is a master of her trade. I feel that she captured the day perfectly, but also the photos were authentic to our personalities as well, nothing felt forced. I could not recommend her enough! I am so looking forward to seeing her again for our 1-yr wedding anniversary photos next year as well! -

Tashena is and was a dream to work with! She was flexible with the many changes I had throughout the planning process! She was super easy to work with and very responsive. She made our wedding day perfect and was able to capture all of our special moments! She made myself and my husband feel comfortable in front of the camera! Amazing experience!!
Tashena made the entire experience so much fun! My boyfriend and I have never taken professional photos before and Tashena was so helpful. Before the shoot, she answered all of my questions (even helped pick out my dress to wear)! Tashena is also very quick when it comes to responding to messages. During the shoot, Tashena was so kind - she eased all of our nerves through joking with us, helping us pose, and complimenting us. We left the shoot with HUGE smiles on our faces. We were so excited to see the photos! Tashena was quick to also get us all of our photos and they are WONDERFUL! I highly recommend using Tashena for all of your professional photos! -

If I could give 6/5 stars I would! Tashena was the best decision I made for my wedding day. Going into the day her communication is so responsive, helpful and clear. I knew when we did our engagement photos and got those back, that our wedding day photos were going to be even better than I dreamed and I was right! The day of, she flawlessly managed traveling to 3 different locations and was such a fun energy added to the day. Our family can be quite chaotic and she was amazing at rallying everyone and making sure we got the photos we wanted plus capturing the chaos in the most beautiful way! More than anything the candids are my favorite part, she captured the tears, the laughs and all the love of our day. Not to mention we had the most amazing sunset and she took full advantage which resulted in the most beautiful portraits. Book Tashena and you won’t regret it! -

The best time!
Tashena is THE BEST! As soon as I sent an inquiry, she responded right away and called me to discuss ideas and details. I've never used a professional photographer before and she made the process so easy and on the day of we had so much fun! She made us laugh the and truly enjoy the experience. The photos came out absolutely amazing and we are so excited to have many beautiful memories captured on our big day. She really captured every little thing. We are looking forward to seeing her again for our anniversary shoot and future family portraits! -

Amazing!

I was searching for a local photographer in my area and I am so glad I randomly stumbled across Tashena Shaw Photography. From the moment I spoke to her, our very first call—I knew she was the perfect photographer to go with. Her spirit alone sealed the deal. Maternity pictures!
Me and my husband had a great experience! We were very nervous but Tashena made us feel comfortable! You can really tell she enjoys what she does and took her time and it didn’t feel like she was rushing us through the pictures. The pictures turned out amazing! Perfect Fit!
From the moment I read her About Me on her website, I knew I was going to absolutely adore her…and I did! Our wedding plans changed a multitude of times due to COVID. By the time we were able to figure out a set plan and date, we had three months to get everything together. We were lucky enough that my best-friend came across one of Tashena‘s Facebook posts and that she was available for our date. We jumped on the chance to book with her ASAP and I am so glad we did. I loved meeting/working with her and her daughter! She made sure to capture each beautiful moment and even went above and beyond with a special request of mine. I have three large families and I wanted to make sure we were able to get pics with them all…she flawlessly was able to quickly get through each photo I wanted. They came out perfect! -

She assisted in keeping with the day-of timeline, made sure I was satisfied before moving on, and capturing all the right moments. I have seen a couple sneak peeks and I am thrilled to have made the choice to hire Tashena. I can't wait to see the rest!

Christine Sent on 11/14/2017We got married 11/11/17 at Cypress Point Country Club and Tashena was absolutely amazing. I'm so grateful she was able to do our wedding. My husband is very camera shy and she was still able to make him feel comfortable and get some AMAZING shots. The wedding process was very stressful for me, but working with Tashena was perhaps the LEAST stressful part of it. She was quick to contact us back whenever we had any questions and she was so friendly and customer service oriented. It was very cold during my wedding and she suffered through it outside with us and gave clear concise instructions and made the process go quickly and smoothly. I would highly recommend her for any events and absolutely loved working with her. I will definitely be using her services again!!
