Tara did a great job of helping us select a great location for our photo shoot! She was very professional and friendly! Tara moved things along and was very patient with our little dog. Our pictures turned out beautifully and we would definitely hire her for future family photos!

Tara was absolutely wonderful!! There were a few mishaps with the wedding causing it to be delated but Tara captured all of the photos I wanted! The top of my list were beach sunset photos and Tara amazed me with how well she captured them. All of my photos are gorgeous!!! I can't thank Tara enough!

Tara was very professional. In fact, she was awesome! She made us feel very comfortable with everything. Her service and talent are top notch! Our pictures turned out beautifully and they will be treasured keepsakes.

I absolutely love Tara photography. I called numerous photography studios in Myrtle Beach to make My Special day a little more special . As i called I recieved answering machines I left messages then started to receive quotes via text message except for Tara. She took the time to call me on the phone ..the only one out of 6 ...Im so thankful she took the time to call me and talk about packages and what I wanted . She was Awesome !!! Also she was very polite and strived to get all the pictures I wanted for my special day !! Her packages were at a great price compared to all the texts i received from other photographers..I was so blessed to have chosen such a great photographer!!! We even received a Cd with our package to cherish for years to come of our big day .Thank You Tara!! We will be back next year for a wonderful 1 year anniversary photo shoot with the Best of Myrtle Beach Tara Photography

Tara did an awesome job with our family beach photographs. She was on time and very professional. We had young children in our group and Tara worked very well with them. She kept the photography session moving and had great suggestions about photographing our large group. The photos she took were beautiful. I would highly recommend Tara Photography.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! First class service!!! Tara was so pleasant to work with from the first phone call. She was extremely helpful with other aspects of our planning too. We were from Indiana and did not know much about the area and she gave many recommendations that were helpful , useful and excellent as well. Tara was very quick at responding to emails so we could get things done. She was definitely one of the best investments we made.
She was able to capture some very special photos that we will always cherish. Thanks again. Decker/Anderson

Back in the spring, my boyfriend and I decided that we were going to take a beach vacation. My favorite place to vacation has always been Cherry grove, but he had never been there before. Since I love taking pictures, I decided I needed a professional photographer. After reading a lot of reviews, I found out that Tara must be a pretty great photographer. I called her right away and told her that I was interested for couple pictures in July. She allowed me to self-select picture poses I definitely wanted, and the date was confirmed. Once July finally came, I was so excited for our photos. I prayed months in advance for be beautiful pictures and that the weather would be great. Once we got to our condo, I was exhausted like all travelers are after a nine hour drive. After getting ready and refreshing myself, I walk out to a big hug from my boyfriend and sweet words of how much he loves me. Before I knew it, he had pulled out a ring and got down on one knee. After saying YES and having the biggest shock of my life, I emailed Tara and told her I wanted engagement pictures instead. She was very flexible! The first day we took pictures we got several in, but then a storm had moved in. She reassured us that we would do the rest the following evening. The weather was breath taking and the wind was the calmest I've ever seen it at the beach. I was very pleased and had high hopes for our photos. After reviewing them yesterday, I can say that Tara is the best professional photographer I've ever worked with. Her photos are high quality, beautiful lighting, a large variety, great pricing, and excellent service. The pictures we took are the best pictures I've had so far. If you want great service, a great deal, and qualify pictures, you won't go wrong with Tara!

My boyfriend and I planned a beach vacation back in the springtime to cherry grove, South Carolina! I knew from past trips that this was my ultimate favorite beach spot to vacation at; however, he had never been to the area. Once we made our plans, I decided that I wanted us to have pictures made on the beach, and since it was just the two of us, we would need a professional. After reading great reviews on Tara's photography, I decided that I would take a leap of faith and trust the reviews I read. I called Tara and told her that I wanted couple pictures done, and we rearranged months in advance the type of photos I wanted. She allowed me to send her pictures i definitely wanted to be taken in my session.I prayed months in advance that the pictures would turn out wonderful, because we all know how the wind can be at times on the shore. When we arrived at our destination, I was exhausted like all travels after a long journey. Showers were taken, plans were made, and out to eat was our next stop. Once I entered the room to announce I was ready, my boyfriend started hugging me and telling me how much he loved me and before I knew it, he pulled our an engagement ring and got done on one knee! After having the biggest shock of my life, I said YES! I knew right then our couple pictures would be turned into engagement pictures. I contacted Tara and she not only congratulated me, but she was flexible on the purpose for my photos. Once the day came, she was ready and prepared and coached us on how to do the poses. Once we had taken several pictures, a storm started to roll in. Tara assured us that despite the storm coming, she would rearrange another evening to finish the rest of our shoot! The next evening was absolutely gorgeous. If you are wanting any kind of photos Tara is definitely the photographer to work with. Her quality of photos, the variety, flexibility, and expertise is better than any professional i've worked with!

Tara was exactly what we had hoped for in photographing our family reunion pictures in August! She was easy to correspond with before we arrived and great with our large group of close to 20. Tara knew how to keep us focused on getting the best pictures, both as a large group and separated into various families. The result was fabulous pictures that will be treasured for many, many years to come. Her turnaround time was lightening quick and was able to pick up the photo disks before we left town a couple of days later. This is the first time we arranged for a photo session while on vacation and really wish we had done so with Tara sooner! We would highly recommend her to anyone coming to the North Myrtle Beach area. You won't be disappointed!

It was a blast getting to work with Tara yesterday. She was very active in getting the perfect yet hard to get photos and she stayed at the reception longer than she was paid for just to make sure she had all the perfect moments captured for years to come. I found Tara on google. We came to Myrtle Beach from NY and wanted to find a photographer. I am so glad I found Tara. She was professional and knew exactly what I was looking for. She took great pics and I'll have those memories on my wall forever. With 9 people to photo, she was quick and accurate...What a nice experience!! So so glad I found her and highly recommend her!

Tara was exceptional dealing with a raucous family of 20 people, including 5 kids under 6 years old, in multiple family groups. She had great patience dealing with the chaos. She took us to a beautiful section of beach and had great ideas for poses and groupings. Large groups or small, Tara made everyone feel comfortable and her photos were outstanding. We recommended Tara to close friends who were going to North Myrtle Beach a month after we went and they had an equally great experience. Book Tara for your photos.

Tara did a great job with our family pictures. We had a large party and she was very flexible and listened to what we thought would work best with the kids and grandparents.

We used Tara for family beach photos in 2014. She and the photos were great!

We were so pleased that we booked her to take some senior pictures of our son while we were going to be on vacation in 2015.

Again, great bunch of photos! We have 2 more kids and will use her in the future.

Tara is fantastic! She managed to get our entire group of 11--ranging in age from nine months to 72 years-- engaged completely in the picture taking process! (All this while the dark clouds rolled in and the wind started to pick up, and even a few light showers entered the picture!) Tara just kept clicking away and managed to take over 200 pictures in 40 minutes! I have just finished ordering my Christmas gifts for three families --and I'm sure they will be delighted for many years to come! And will remember that summer evening in Myrtle Beach when we were reunited and had such a good time during the photo shoot by Tara!

Tara was energetic and fun to work with. I liked the fact that you get a CD with a copyright release so you can print as many pictures as you want affordably. The pictures turned out great.

I engaged Tara before our family arrived at the beach. Everything was planned with Tara giving helpful hints with various options from what everyone could wear... to the best time of day to do the pictures in order to have the best natural lighting. She has a preplanned place selected for the pictures to be taken that has natural sand dunes and a beautiful beach presentation. Tara is very professional, efficient and flexible..open to your ideas on any groupings or poses that you would like included. She helps everyone, including children feel comfortable and relaxed. There is nothing I would change about the whole experience and I will definitely ask her to take our family beach pictures again should we decide to have pictures taken on a future visit to the beach. You cannot go wrong with this photographer!

Tara Photography is absolutely fabulous! Tara captured such amazing photos of our family on the beach. We had 12 people in our party, 4 of which were children. My nephew, who is autistic, was able to stay focused long enough to grab some wonderful pictures. Tara was so patient with him. We were very lucky to have had her as our photographer. I highly recommend Tara from Tara Photography to any family or couple looking to capture that amazing photo shoot on the beach. We are so blessed to have these fabulous photos captured by Tara.

Tara was absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!! I was very nervous about choosing a photographer for our wedding.We live in Illinois and would be traveling to South Carolina to be married on the beach. I did not have the pleasure of being able to use vendors that other friends and family had before. After meeting Tara and seeing the amazing photos she took of our wedding I would recommend her to anyone! If we lived in the area I would use her for photography service for everything and recommend her to all of my friends and family! She was always prompt in responding to any of my many questions. The package she gave me was great and at a reasonable price (some photographers were outrageous!) Also, after viewing the photos I feel that I got amazing quality! Tara was also prompt on the day of my wedding and she worked extremely well with our large group. She was sure to get any and all of the shots that I wanted and she was polite, kind, and very fun to be around! All in all, I have no negatives to report! She Tara did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier!

Tara photographed our wedding in October and we could not be more pleased! From the beginning of a very hectic process Tara was extremely professional and gave us every reassurance that she could capture the big day. She did not disappoint. Tara has a wonderful eye for photography and capturing the intimate moments while allowing everything to happen organically. She knows how to make her backgrounds work for her.

Not only was Tara a pleasure to work with, her pictures (over 700!) were top rate. We had the most difficult time limiting our selections in any way. When we received our album we got to experience the full spectrum of Tara’s artistic talents. The layout, the colors, the backgrounds and the pictures themselves came together beautifully to give us a cherished memento that cannot be overstated.

We would highly recommend Tara to anyone looking for high quality photography services. In our own search we could not find anyone more knowledgeable, enthusiastic, energetic and fun.

Tara provided photography services to us for our wedding last year at Wentworth-by-the-Sea. I remember the first time my mother and I met her. We immediately felt comfortable with Tara, due to her warm, engaging manner, and the way that she was clearly invested in getting to know us, our style, and what our wishes were for our photographs. Tara was so attentive before, during, and after the event to our needs...and as we went through each process, Tara knew, and was respectful of, when we needed her guidance and gentle suggestions, and when we didn't. During the wedding ceremony and reception, it was as if Tara were invisible at the "right" times. Yet when we needed her, she was right there, smiling and ready with her reserved, yet energetic style. By the way, the quality of the photos was wonderful! Tara was great to work with and our pictures came out amazing! We actually found Tara on Wedding Wire and after viewing her work we knew we wanted her as our photographer and booked her without ever meeting with her. The first day we met her was actually on our wedding day but I had no worries. Up until our wedding day we conversed through emails and Tara was always quick to respond back. On the day of our wedding we got so many compliments about her.
We just received our package a couple of weeks ago and the pictures are amazing! She captured every important moment beautifully. We especially love the colorspalsh images that she does! Thank you Tara!

After meeting and reviewing packages and photos of several photographers, I was so relieved when we found Tara. Not only did her pictures look great, but she had a variety of packages to choose from to fit our budget. She was professional, as well as easy to get along with. Leading up to the wedding, Tara was quick to respond with answers to questions that I had and even suggested ideas of photos that hadn't occurred to me, but turned out to be some of our favorites.
On the day of, Tara was with us every step of the way. She was very efficient, yet creative, in getting people together for pictures and snapping impromptu moments. She has an amazing ability to be stern enough to get everyone on their best behavior for a picture, but to do it with humor to keep everyone at ease. To top it off, at the end of the evening, the band had a surprise for us and got us up on stage. It turned out to be a highlight of the day, but happened after I thought Tara would have left. It turns out she was still there and captured the moment for us.
We finally found the time to go through our extensive collection of photos and narrowed down the ones we wanted for our prints and album (they were all so good!). We've just receive our album and it looks amazing. I've heard nothing but great things about how our photos came out and I couldn't be happier.

A+ for Tara Gurry. www.taraphotography.biz Tara is one of those lovely, artistic people who make you feel calm and nurtured in her presence. She successfully herded the wedding party through formals in the Public Garden. She is wonderfully creative and is willing to negotiate on her packages. It was a bit more than what I intended to spend, but DH and I agreed that the photography was important. Tara worked with us to customize a package so we would get our album, both parents albums and a 20" X 24" wall portrait along with digitial rights, a host of photos, etc.
Her work is gorgeous! Shes is an artist. There are so many terrific photos to choose from. We really love the B&W and the sepia toned images. They are a fantastic contrast to the color!

Tara did an amazing job overall. Words cannot express how happy we are with her work and our album. We had met with a few other vendors prior to booking Tara and right after our first meeting we knew that she was the one we'd want handling our special day! She was very flexible at meeting us at a place that would work with our schedule and came prepared with plenty of samples and books.
After we booked Tara we also planned our engagement photos with her. This was the best decision we made. My husband and I weren't planning on taking these pictures ahead of time but after seeing the photos Tara showed us we knew it was something we wanted to do. For a small fee she took us to several locations and spent 3 hours with us! The pictures were perfect for using for our invitations.
Tara made us feel so comfortable and at ease on our big day and understood that we wanted to party and dance the night away and not have to worry about "posing" all of the time. She captured everything - even things we missed! She was also excellent at following up with us and all 800 pictures were on display online a few weeks after we were married.
The best part is that we got to keep ALL of our pictures! We're so happy we hired her for such a big event.

Lee and I received our beautiful wedding photographs and album, and we absolutely love them. I could not believe how artistic and beautiful the pictures are and how she captured the perfect pictures and the mood of our wedding
festivities. I also love the way Tara arranged the photographs in the book, so creative and artistic and beautiful. My favorite picture is of Diego, our cat, he is just too cute.

It was really nice meeting and working with Tara and if we need
photographs in the future, we will be sure to contact Tara Photography.

I would recommend using Tara Gurry for your wedding photography. She was very professional and responsive to all of our questions and concerns regarding what is included in each package. Tara is extremely talented and it shows in her photos.

Everyone knows the most important thing is photography because really, even though the flowers and dress and cake are wonderful, the album is what we are going to have FOREVER - for us and our future children. I spent months coming through websites, reviews, contracts, etc hoping to find the right person to capture my most special day. I found this all in Tara Gurry. Tara has an artistic eye, she is professional, calm, fun, helpful, responsive and so kind to everyone in the wedding party. The pictures from my wedding day vary from beautiful to truly unbelievable - a mixture of classic shots, modern images and unexpected moments that she so magically was able to capture. She also helped me to create a wonderful package. When I received my digital flush mounted album, I was beyond pleased. It is beautifully done, telling the story of our day and includes everything that was important to me - black and whites, color, specialized pages, etc. Truly beautiful as were the parent albums -your in-laws will be pleased, I assure you! She comes with my highest recommendation and is by far my biggest success and relief in my wedding planning adventures!

Tara took beautiful photos of our family and even delivered the CD to our condo. We got many great pictures and would recommend her to others looking to have beach pictures taken.

It was a pleasure to work with Tara. We didn't even know she was there. She as a great vision when it comes to shooting weddings and really captured our day. I would highly reccommend her. We got our album 1 month after we picked our pictures along with our photos on CD and all the rights to reprint and the reprints we ordered. Tara was very easy to work with and understood exactly what we were looking for.

My only advice is to ask for conversation around the look of your album. Don't get me wrong our album looks great but I would have liked to see a proof of it before it was printed to change a few things.

Overall a fantastic experience. I would highly reccommend Tara Aesthetics to anyone.
