I worked with Connie at Tara Florist and it was a smooth process from step one. Connie is very knowledgeable and helpful. She listened to my ideas about the flowers I wanted but also recommended other options. I appreciate that Connie was straight-forward with me right away and let me know that the flowers I wanted were out of season and that they would be really hard to get in. She also offered to make my bouquet in silk, which I love. Now I am able to have my bouquet forever! The silk looks so nice no one noticed the flowers weren't real :) Thanks Connie and Tara Florist!!!

My bridal bouquet was so dreamy and perfect!! The ladies at Tara florist are artists! I worked with Sherry & Connie. They were helpful, flexible, and professional throughout the planning process. I live out of town, so our communication was mostly via email and phone. I sent them photos of a few bouquets I liked, told them specific flowers I liked from each photo, and they delivered the perfect combination! With exotic flowers and rich colors, my bouquet was a perfect fit for our wedding day. I was able to come in to see the flowers and even asked to make a change the day before. The bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsage pins were beautiful as well!

The flowers were absoulutly gorgeous. The crew did exactly what I wanted. I'm glad a brought my mom, because I may have been disappointed. She was right that my centerpieces needed more. I was trying to stay within budget but I had the flowers would not have popped as much as they could have. They were smaller scale but with you have tulips and irises, more was better!

This florist does absolutely beautiful arrangements for any occasion! My family & I have used Tara Florist for weddings, birthdays, funerals, prom, and simple decor. They recently did our flowers for my wedding and at our first appointment I had a couple pictures to show them what I was looking for. They totally nailed my vision and I could not have been more pleased with their work. You will not be disappointed!

AMAZING! Connie of Tara Florist full-filled my most beautiful dreams with our flowers. Not only was Connie so creative, reassuring and calming, she went above and beyond to hunt down and obtain the coral/pink peonies that were out of season (that I loved the most) to make my dream bouquets. My bouquet was a pinterest dream and even my maid of honor couldn't believe how heavy it was because of the amount of beautiful flowers, of over 15 varieties, arranged perfectly it contained. The flowers for the head table were also above and beyond and packed full of flowers. The only disappointment was one of the guest tables center piece died before the wedding (however they were hydrangas in July so heat can do that) and the couple of my tall center pieces were not as full as I pictured, but the QUALITY, SERVICE and DREAM BOUQUETS were more than I could wish for. Take it from a bride that has gone through it, those little not 110% occurrences (2 dead hydrangeas) mean nothing and the most important thing is your flowers, your table, and feeling like the luckiest girl in the world marrying your perfect husband with the most beautiful flowers you may ever receive! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU CONNIE!!! Oh and the price! What a steal, my husband didn't even blink an eye at the cost! Yay Tara Florist!

I walked into Tara Florist with not much knowledge on many flowers and I also had no real ideas on flower arrangements. Connie was super helpful in giving me ideas and me and my husband were able to decide on flower arrangements that day! The flowers were delivered with care to the venue and everything came out beautifully.

The flowers were one of my favorite parts about our wedding. Our florist was really flexible and provided many options. Since I had no idea what her suggestions meant or looked like, my mom took the lead. We gave the florist a general idea of what we were looking for and my mom helped me pick out the flowers. We planned our wedding states away so at times it felt like there were a few miscommunications, but once we met with them in person, everything fell into place! They provided the bouquets, boutineers, trellis for the ceremony, flower girl crown, center pieces, and flowers around the cake. I would highly recommend this vendor to others, everything turned out BEAUTIFUL.

The flowers were beautiful and Sherry was very helpful and flexible. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't as much purple in the bridesmaid bouquets as I had wanted, but they still turned out great and looked beautiful with all the girls' dresses.

I bought my bouquet, the men's flowers and the mother's flowers from Tara. I initially wanted to grow my flowers - but my mother-in-law was concerned that MY flowers wouldn't be right. I wasn't too concerned about flowers, but went to Tara anyway. I am glad I did. The flowers were beautiful, and I wasn't the easiest customer. I told them "think fall...and not the usual." They told me not to worry, and I didn't. When I saw the flowers I was completely satisfied. I will be looking to Tara for any floral needs I may have in the future.

Image this: you're in Mexico on vacation and find the perfect flower arrangement for your reception. You take a digital picture of it because you're no flower petal guru. You get the image home and take it to two different florists to have it replicated for your wedding. No dice. The flower shops weren't interested in the picture; they couldn't identify the flower so they wanted to change it into something they could do or already had done. As a last resort, I went to Tara. I'm so glad I did! Not only did Tara Florist take the time to look at the picture, but they were able to make suggestions as to the type of flower to use. To top that, they even made two trial arrangements for me to take home and show other members involved in the wedding. They were so reasonably priced, too! My arrangements were the most beautful flowers. Image 50 red carnations in the shape of big ball. The ball then rested on the top of 24 inch glass vases and had ribbons hanging inside the glass. BEAUTIFUL!! Tara Florist exceeded my expecations with their dedication to helping me create my perfect centerpieces. They have now become my "go to" shop for all my floral needs!

I had a bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 corsages, flower girl petals, and 9 boutineers. They did a great job helping me develop a vision for my wedding flowers, which was great because I had no idea what I wanted when I went in there. The only complaints I had was that they misquoted the price by a lot and by the time I figured out how much it was really going to be I didn't have the time or desire to find another vendor. They were definitely more pricey than other vendors in the area, but their vision and design made up for it. Also, the bouquets were a little smaller than I thought they would be and some of the bridesmaid's bouquets wrapping fell apart by the end of the night - but they did looked nice and the flowers were very fresh. They did a great job with the boutineers. They made it easy for my MOH to surprise me with a personalized bouquet charm that she delivered to them. The delivery on the day of was on time and as expected. I did not get centerpiece flowers from them but I saw soome they were working on when I had my appointment and they looked very nice. The shop is large and charming and the offer a wide variety of styles.

This one is very tricky for me to review. Let me start with the fact that my wedding flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS. So the end result was exactly as I had dreamed it would be. Getting there, however, was a bit of a challenge.

I had ONE requirement for my flowers = deep red lilies. (Yes, they exist in nature.) I went florist to florist to find out who could do them, and I picked Tara because they said for the end of August that would not be a problem at all. Months later, my florist goes on medical leave for a knee replacement, but all should be okay because she's coming back to work 2 weeks before my wedding. 1 week before my wedding I'm called and told they cannot get my red lilies due to issues with mother nature, and the drama begins. After several conversations, I say fine, switch to white lilies on the bridesmaids, paint white ones red for me, and while I'm not thrilled, life will go on. 3 days before my wedding, I get a call saying they cannot get white lilies either, and at this point, I'm furious. I call around, I locate white lilies at the grocery store, I call the florist and I tell them to try harder. I don't know if someone who was filling in for my florist dropped the ball on ordering the flowers on time, or what, but I refused to be the one that paid the price for their mistake. In the end, my florist ordered white lilies, pink lilies, and purple lilies and sprayed them all red to test for the best result. She had me come in to pick my favorite version, approve all of the other flowers, approve my final bouquet, and see how it turned out. The purple lilies sprayed red ended up beautiful and you couldn't even tell they were painted. I was never charged for my entire bill, nor was I charged for all of the "test" lilies, so I think they acknowledged that they dropped the ball and needed to make up for it. I am impressed that they dealt with the situation in the end and got me what I originally wanted. I just am not real impressed with the fact that I had to deal with it all 3 days before my wedding.

If you want a fantastic artist / florist though, Vicki there did a great job on the final arrangements.

The flowers that were done for us (daisy heads for flower girls to throw, bouquets for bridesmaids, bouttanieres and corsages) came out absolutley beautiful, and they did a great job with them.

I wasn't thrilled with the guidance. I had a color scheme, and she kind of just gave one option, and just named types of flowers (which I didn't know and couldn't envision), she couldn't really provide any samples of what it might look like. I eventually went home and spent hours looking at pictures on line and sent her something to match.

We originally were going to do centerpieces with them, but our budget was coming in a little high, so I wanted to change the flowers we had to bring down the cost per table a bit. I asked for suggestions, and she pretty must just said we can do whatever you want, but I don't know what different flowers cost, I felt she should have been able to make some recommendations and suggestions, so I just said forget it and ended up buying some mums for the centerpieces to save money.

Soooo basically I'd recommend them if you know what you want, but if you need a little more hand holding you might be better off elsewhere

I thought that the flowers were a bit over priced for what they were. We went pretty simple flowers, white roses and blue hydrangeas. We had my bouquet of 18 white roses and one bridesmaid bouquet of 1 blue hydrangea that were supposed to be hand tied. The ribbon that they used only covered two inches of the flowers stems. So, the bottoms of the stems were exposed which caused the flowers to wilt more quickly then if they were covered. The original person that I was working with stopped working on my wedding about a week and half before the wedding, so I then had to go in and explain exactly what I wanted again to someone new. There was then a discrepancy with the cost and we ended up paying more than what I was first quoted. We did not have a huge order (we did not do flowers as centerpieces and only had one flower arrangement at the reception on the escort card table) so I felt that this flowerist didn't really care about my wedding flowers because we were not spending a lot of money there. I would not recommend them.
