My husband and I just got married on September 28th. We are from Rhode Island and planned our wedding long distance. The ranch was absolutely wonderful and accommodating to us every step of the way. They made planning our wedding so easy, answered all of our questions, and made sure we knew they were there for us. Everything up until wedding day ran so smoothly and wedding day was so perfect! We cannot recommend this venue enough! We can’t wait to spend future anniversaries at the ranch! Big thank you to Sarah Detmer and all the staff that made our special weekend unforgettable!

TVR made our wedding weekend a dream come true. Stunning backdrop, authentic ranch architectural, phenomenal food, and top notch service. Giovanna made the entire planning process a breeze, and our man Greg managed the rehearsal dinner and reception perfectly, The entire team was a pleasure to work with. Wish we could do it all over again!

Giovanna and her team were so professional and excellent! The a majority of our guests were from out of town and loved all of the amenities, rooms, and scenery. We had the most amazing wedding at Tanque Verde Ranch on 11/16/2024. From the ceremony at cactus view, cocktail hour on Rincon terrace and the reception in the Saguaro room, everything was simply perfect. Giovanna was our coordinator and she was great to work with. She answered my many emails filled with various questions in a timely manner and helped make my vision come to life. The food was amazing, we were told by multiple guests it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. We were able to get the most beautiful pictures throughout the property, courtesy of our fantastic van driver who drove us around, and even brought us appetizers. Our two dogs even got to be included in the ceremony and stayed for some pictures after. If we could go back and do it all again, we would choose to get married here every time. Thank you for helping us have the happiest day of our lives!

Our wedding at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch on November 9 was simply magical, thanks to the incredible team that went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. Our coordinator, Megan Ayes, was phenomenal. She was always 10 steps ahead, anticipating every need and handling every detail with precision and care. Megan truly understood our vision, took care of our unique ceremony requirements, and added such thoughtful, personal touches throughout the day. She managed nervous family members with grace and was such a calming presence—her work made everything feel effortless and stress-free! She even had our suite perfectly prepared with the most elegant, special touches that made us feel right at home.

The banquet staff was also outstanding, working tirelessly to accommodate dietary needs and seamlessly adjusting to changes as the night went on. They even kept the fire pits going all night, which added a cozy, magical atmosphere for us and our guests. The entire experience felt like white glove service from start to finish.

We can’t thank the team at Tanque Verde Guest Ranch enough for creating the wedding of our dreams. It was everything we hoped for and more. We’re already looking forward to returning to celebrate and relive these beautiful memories for years to come.

We recently got married at the Ranch venue, and had the most amazing day! We were blown away by the quality of services provided by the TVR staff — they really know how to treat their wedding guests like royalty! The food was incredible and our guests were raving about it! We loved the intimate and rustic feel of the Ranch venue, perfect for our smaller guest count, and loved how the surroundings really showed off the best of the Tucson landscape. We really appreciated having a designated day-of coordinator (Megan) who helped keep us organized throughout the process. Our day went by so smoothly and we couldn’t have dreamed of getting married at any other place than at TVR! Highly recommend!

My wedding was nothing short of amazing at TVR. It far exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. Mackenzie and I recently had our wedding at the Tanque Verde Guest Ranch, and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. A venue coordinator, Nicole Banek was wonderful. We did not have our own wedding planner, but Nicole was able to seamlessly guide us through the process of preparing for our wedding day - keeping us on schedule with our vendors, coordinating with us frequently to answer any questions that arose, and making sure that every detail with us and the vendors was synchronized for the wedding day. She was really pleasant and fun to work with, and I'd highly recommend the Tanque Verde venue and Nicole's professional expertise to any couples thinking about having their wedding at this beautiful and organized venue.

I toured a couple other venues in town - Lowes, Hacienda Del Sol, Ventana Canyon. I found that the vibe I was going for (rustic, boho) was perfect with the barn at TVR. From the start, working with Megan, my site coordinator was great. Always very responsive to my emails. Super involved throughout my whole planning process in coordination with my wedding planner. The view of the mountain behind the stage was stunning. I loved that you could do an outdoor ceremony like I did, but could easily move into the barn if the weather decided to change. The food was also DELICIOUS and I am still getting 10/10 reviews from guests. We went with a buffet style and it flowed so well with the staff. The night truly went so smoothly and it was better than I ever could have dreamed!

We could not have dreamt up a better venue, location, aesthetic, staff, etc. for our wedding! Aside from the beautiful landscape, what really drew us in was the ability to stay on property and have all of our friends & family book here as well (*only challenge was limited rooms and, if they didn't book right away, prices continually increased). It felt like we were at summer camp- everyone gathering in the dining hall for breakfast and lunch, and meeting up for happy hour drinks at the saloon. And there were so many activities for our guests to enjoy throughout the weekend (lounging by the year-round heated pool & jacuzzi, horseback riding, hiking, archery, etc.). And the wedding venue itself was spectacular - the staff is so warm and welcoming, extremely accommodating, and the food was great!! We planned on doing our rehearsal at Cottonwood Grove, but it got rained out. The staff was quick to move it to an indoor location and even kept the saloon open after hours so we could continue the celebrations. Best weekend at the best venue ever! We can't wait to come back and celebrate anniversaries! Regarding our vendors, we partnered with DJ Phil Montes, florist Alexis Grace Florals, photographer/videographer Meagan Getz, hair / make-up artist ‘I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry’, and shuttle service Mountain View Tours. They have all worked with Tanque Verde Ranch, so were very familiar with the space and staff. Absolute best vendors of all time- our wedding went off without a hitch!!

Our wedding experience at TVR was amazing!

We loved everything about Tanque Verde Ranch. We had the most amazing day there. It was beautiful and the service was elite. It was worth every penny!!!

Our wedding at TVR was a dream come true. We had two main goals for a venue: (1) we wanted dinner outside and (2) we wanted a dreamy desert backdrop. We visited so many venues, but when we stepped foot on the TVR Barn we knew instantly that it was our spot. The Barn is the perfect wedding venue. We hosted the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner outside on the Barn lawn and then moved the dancing and reception inside the Barn. It was perfect. The saguaro backdrop on the Barn lawn at golden hour is absolutely breathtaking. Dinner under the stars was perfect (they even provided space heaters!). And when we moved the party inside, the staff opened up the Barn doors so it was a seamless, fluid space. I could write a short novel about how great TVR was, but here are the highlights: the Barn has its own kitchen, bar, bathrooms, and parking lot so you have privacy and incredible service from the staff; the ability to open the Barn doors allows you to maximize your use of the space; it is absolutely gorgeous inside and out -- we were showered with compliments from our guests; the food was fantastic; and, although it may feel pricey, you get so much bang for your buck. Last, but most importantly, the staff is incredible. We worked with Hanna and Megan as our venue coordinators and they absolutely killed it. (Shout out to Dillion for absolutely crushing coordination during the reception!) Hanna and Megan were so patient with all our questions and concerns and brilliant with creative solutions. Megan executed our event with professionalism, kindness, support, and creativity. As we worked through the budget, menu, floor plan, and timeline, Meg offered top tier communication, suggestions, and execution. If I could do it all over again, I’d book TVR day 1!

We recently were married at Tanque Verde Ranch, and I cannot recommend this venue enough. From the gorgeous backdrops to the amazing food and friendly staff, it was an incredible experience. Megan, and everyone at the ranch are so kind and helpful. They made for a flawless wedding and a truly perfect day!

Megan was amazing. She helped with all the details from start to finish. She was very knowledgeable and helpful with the process. Tovia was incredible with helping to take us where we needed to be and assisting with other errands as they came up. Greg was fantastic. He provided more than just food and drinks and was available for anything needed. It could not have gone better. Everyone was extraordinarily helpful and very kind.

We got married at the ranch last year and it was an incredible experience. We had our ceremony and reception at the barn. It was beautiful and we could not be happier we chose The Ranch. Not only is it a beautiful venue with amazing views but the staff made it easy for us. I was finishing up graduate school while planning the wedding and they took so much off my plate which I was extremely grateful for. We worked with Hanna, and I really believe the day ran so smooth because of her and the staff. They were very nice and friendly to work with.

We did not want to spend as much money on floral, which made me worry the space would feel too “bare”. But because the building is already beautiful you can use as much, or as little floral it will feel elegant. It is a space that looks great simple or grand. We also had about 85 guests which seems on the smaller side, but the space didn’t feel too big. Most of our guests were from out of town so having onsite lodging was important. It was also nice to stay onsite the night before, that made the weekend less stressful! Another great thing that I did not expect was how good the food and drinks were going to be. I feel like it’s common for wedding venues to slack on the food, but the food was AWESOME. We left our tasting excited to come back and eat.

Overall, we loved our experience and if you’re venue shopping you should definitely check it out!

When we first stepped foot into the barn, it took our breath away! I instantly got all giddy and didn't want to continue the venue search. Having our wedding at the barn was a dream come true! There is no other venue like it in Tucson. The ceremony space on the barn lawn overlooks the saguaro national park with the Rincon mountains in the distance. So picturesque! The lawn is also perfect for cocktail hour. Plenty of room to mingle and even have a few games to stay entertained (corn hole, giant Jenga, Sparky the fake bull to practice your lasso skills). Then you move inside the barn for the reception. So many aspects of the room are so impressive. From the chandelier to the mesquite bar top to the 18 foot fireplace that is the perfect focal point for your sweetheart table. Other than the inarguable beauty of the venue, the staff and food is much to admire. Every vendor that we hired was so ecstatic to hear our wedding was being held at the barn. They love the venue and the staff! And we agree! The staff, especially Hanna, our wedding coordinator, were exceptional! They made us feel like royalty! All staff was so kind, attentive, and accommodating. AND THE FOOD!! Usually wedding banquet food is nothing to even mention. But the food at the ranch is exquisite! Countless wedding guests complimented the food!! We could not have had a more magical and perfect wedding! We have the Tanque Verde Ranch to thank! Can't wait to celebrate all our anniversaries to come. I can guarantee many of them will be spent at the ranch! Thank you!!

We cannot say enough positive things about TVR as a wedding venue. We had originally scheduled with them in May 2020 but then rescheduled for September 2022. We did have some snafus regarding the contract and they asked us to re-sign, - I think we paid a little more and got a little less, but they did keep our food/beverage prices the same and they comp-ed the honeymoon suite, so it worked out well enough in the end. For the money we spent, we are very happy with what we received.

We had our ceremony at Cactus View, our reception in Saguaro Room, and these two areas really made the wedding. We didn’t need many flowers and our centerpieces were cobbled together at Home Depot/Michael’s (terra cotta pots with cacti plus hurricane vases filled with sand and cacti/candles), plus we splurged on some uplighting for the room and cake. We re-purposed ceremony florals and the room looked INCREDIBLE. Of course the natural beauty of Cactus View was all that was really needed for the ceremony (plus chuppah and minimal flowers). We planned for a sunset wedding (ceremony starting 45 minutes before sunset), but given the heat if we had to do it again, we'd probably start the ceremony AT sunset instead of before - I'm sure the string lights would've looked fantastic with some uplighting of the arbor.

The staff was incredible - Hanna did great at coordinating and the support staff (driving golf carts, room service, etc…) were hands down the nicest and most down-to-earth people I have ever met in the service industry.

Food was phenomenal. Prior to the weekend we went out to eat at several Tucson restaurants and so the bar was set pretty high, but TVR nailed it. TVR had estimated a higher alcohol bill, but the final bill came in lower than expected.

The Saguaro Room is on the smaller size so it is perfect for making an intimate reception seem more grandiose (we had 75 or so guests). We had initially invited 120 and I imagine the room may have felt VERY full with that number. The dance floor was small, but that kind of worked for us because we’re not a big group of dancers.

Tanque Verde Ranch is such an incredible location for a wedding!
We fell in love with the barn after the first time we toured it and each time we visited over the year of planning we were more and more excited about our decision. Our wedding day was perfect! The ceremony backdrop with the Saguaro National Park is breathtaking, the Barn lawn with string lights and desert landscape is beautiful and the variety of spots across the ranch made incredible photo locations.

It was not only the beautiful ranch that made our wedding day so wonderful, but the entire TVR staff. We had the pleasure of working with Hanna over the past year. She was beyond helpful and amazing to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and really good at what she does! Hanna made the planning process so smooth with her attention to detail, the information she provided, checklists, and all advice. From the initial steps in planning, to the rehearsal, and the day of, we were so thankful to have Hanna's support bringing everything together. All of the staff we worked with were extremely nice, helpful and professional. Dan the shuttle driver, Greg during the reception, and the bartenders, we couldn't have asked for a better team. They truly make sure you and your guest are taken care of throughout the day!

The food was incredible and even 2 weeks after our wedding, we are still getting messages about the incredible appetizers, delicious dinner options, and late night food! If you are looking for an exceptional wedding venue, with plenty of space, indoor/outdoor options, perfect desert views, and an all star team, we HIGHLY recommend Tanque Verde Ranch!!

I couldn’t say enough good things about Tanque verde ranch! The team there is there for you throughout your wedding! The ranch caters so well to children, but at the same utime you feel relaxed and not bothered by them. The rooms and location are a dream and the food, is amazing!!!! So happy I picked this venue!
