He is amazing!
Tanner was the absolute life of the party at my wedding this past Monday. From the pre-ceremony he played the violin for my guests that were arriving. He was a very personable DJ and MC. When it came time for us to open up the dance floor he interacted with my guests on the dance floor and played the violin along with the songs he was DJing. It was really special and my guests were incredibly impressed by his talents. -

A dream to a reality 🤍
Gosh where do I even begin to describe Tanner… I found him on Instagram and completely fell in love with his music! The only thing that I ever wanted at my wedding was a violinist. I contacted Tanner and without question he instantly learned the exact wedding song that I wanted to walk down the aisle too. Tanner thank you for helping my dream become a reality. Tanner did an outstanding job at our ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful and the music brought tears to everyone's eyes (including ours). His communication was always timely and he was very helpful throughout our planning process and always answered all my questions. He sent us previews of him playing the songs we wanted which was helpful too. I highly recommend using Tanner, I cannot imagine our ceremony without him! -

We first met Tanner at my step sisters wedding in South Florida. We weren’t even engaged yet but we knew we wanted him to be at our wedding and we let him know. We ended up having a Halloween party instead of a traditional wedding and Tanner was AWESOME! He traveled from FL to SC for the party and dressed up for the occasion. He’s an incredible violinist and then comes in hot as a DJ as well. We’re trying to think of another reason to have a party so we can have him come again. Definitely recommend!! Hi Wedding Wire Family!
If you are looking to hire Tanner for your wedding, do it. I can not even begin to describe how talented this man is - but wow! He brought the vibes! We hired Tanner to play violin for our ceremony music, and then violin/dj our cocktail and reception. Y’all - THIS MAN IS AMAZING! Our dance floor did not empty and we are still getting feedback from our guests saying how much they enjoyed him. He kept the party going and delivered a more than memorable Wedding experience for us and our guests. Thank you so much, Tanner for everything. Tanner was an excellent addition to our wedding! The guests and I were very impressed by the classical violin music at the ceremony and cocktail hour and then Tanner’s DJ skills at the reception. Tanner was able to read the crowd and with not much input from us, he knew exactly what to play to keep people on the dance floor all night! Tanner was very responsive during the ceremony, he took song requests and adjusted the volume as needed. Thank you Tanner! -

Absolutely amazing!
We had heard Tanner play at a wedding a few years ago and loved him so much we hired him for our wedding this past Saturday. Our guests can’t stop talking about the ceremony and cocktail hour music. Tanner is unbelievably talented! Our DJ was even blown away! If you are on the fence about adding a violinist, DO IT! Tanner made my day truly feel like a fairytale! Will be recommending to any any everyone! -

Spectacular - hire him!!
We heard Tanner play at Disney Springs in Florida and were instantly hypnotized by the magic coming out of his violin. My now-husband suggested hiring him for our wedding in Maine -- the next thing we knew, we booked him and our wedding vision came to life! I'm only sad that we were so busy on our wedding day that I didn't get to stop and enjoy every song. My dad requested a lesser-known song to be played and Tanner knocked it out of the park. 10/10 would recommend to anyone, worth every penny! -

Excellent experience
Tanner delivered an excellent performance. guests lived his coctail hour performance. we asked if he could perform a dup performance with the drummer for reception and he delivered to the T. Best Day Ever! Tanner JOHNSON is the best!
Tanner was a delight to work with, from the planning stages to the last dance of the night! He arranged a classical piece and accompanied several songs for the ceremony, provided and set up a fantastic sound system (loud and clear enough to project over the ocean waves), and then transferred his equipment to our reception space with speed and excellence. He kept things running smoothly the whole evening- DJ, guitar, and violin skills provided everything we needed. Thank you, Tanner! Revival Performance
Tanners respect, curtesy and professionalism, in preparation and coordination with my bride was only outdone by his raw talent and skill on the day of our wedding. His revival performance of selected arrangements brought a level of elegance and class that one would be hard pressed to replicate by the most talented violinist and cellist. As an event coordinator in my professional occupation I am fully persuaded that Tanner has not only the skill and knowledge but most importantly the professional character that qualifies him in a very broad spectrum of applications. I am delighted and beyond grateful our guests had the opportunity to experience an absolutely perfect sound track to our day.

This space is not enough to express my gratitude for the wonderful performance of tanner Johnson at my wedding. I am Brazilian and my wedding was celebrated in Portuguese and Tanner played Brazilian music wonderfully together with the singer who is also Brazilian. Tanner is a caring professional , he never leaves the bride waiting for an e-mail reply and for me this is a very important point because the preparation for a wedding involves a lot of stress so we need professionals who do not cause more worries. Tanner is a professional who doesn't fit 5 stars because he is much bigger than 5 stars. Thank you Tanner. May God continue to bless your talent. -

Words can not express how much I have enjoyed working with Tanner. Music was one of the most important things to my husband John and I. When I found Tanner I knew we had to book him. We booked him about 15 months before our wedding and thought the whole process he was SO responsive, accommodating and even sent us videos of songs we wanted him to play! If I could give him 1000000 stars I would! He played our ceremony and cocktail hour music and all of our guests have raved about how talented and sweet he was!!

100% would book again!
We had Tanner play for our ceremony solo and then with a trio for the reception and he was fantastic! Music was beautiful, he did a perfect mix of classical and modern tunes and when he says he takes any request he really does - and everything sounded exactly as we imagined it would! Tanner is so sweet and really entertained the guests, including staying after the band finished to play with our nieces and show them how the violin works. We absolutely loved having Tanner & band for our wedding! -

His music is incredible and breathtaking, he truly made our big day romantic and special! Our guest are still complimenting Tanner and how beautiful our ceremony was. I did not have phone service in our venue so I could not communicate with Tanner and I was nervous about this but Tanner arrived on time and got the ball rolling. He knew just what to do without ever talking to or seeing me. He was reliable, efficient, talented and more than we could have hoped for! I was extremely nervous but when I finally heard the beautiful sounds of Tanner's violin my anxiety melted away and I felt like I was in a fairy tale. We will definitely use Tanner again for other events! Thank you Tanner, we appreciate you so much!

He and his guitarist counterpart arrived early at our venue but were incredibly patient while we worked out a last minute ceremony relocation due to rainy weather. The music they provided during the prelude and processional was perfect. At my request, Tanner had put together a custom violin arrangement for my processional and had even sent me a video of it so that I could be certain that it was what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, he executed that song so beautifully that I was tearing up during my walk down the aisle. In addition to exceptional service and talent, Tanner's prices are incredibly reasonable. If you are looking for acoustic string music for your wedding, then look no further. Book him while you can because this guy is definitely going places! -
Cary Sent on 09/30/2017You seriously need to hire Tanner for your wedding. My wife and I had the best experience working with him for our wedding. He has a pleasant, professional and courteous demeanor. He's musical skill is remarkable (he played violin for our wedding). My wife and I are both musicians, so we valued beautiful live music for the ceremony. We used Tanner because we'd seen him perform in multiple settings, and a recording artist we know had used him on her album. Wow, he's good as a stand alone and excels at working with other artists. Please don't hesitate to hire him. He gave a really good deal because he's a friend of a friend and we had a limited budget. He's worth far more than we paid him!

I contacted him and hired him for my wedding. He sent me a contract which I executed. I paid him the deposit on 2/21/2021. Everything was all good until he emailed me today to tell me that He did not receive the deposit and he was no longer available. I am beyond shocked but sincerely I just want the money back and I can find someone else. I am glad my wedding is still months away.Tanner Johnson Music's reply:
