Beautiful hair and makeup

We hired Avery Pabis for makeup and Erin Weldon and Brooke for hair.

Avery did an exceptional job on the makeup for our mothers and bridesmaids. I wanted a look that was rosey and natural. She provided her expertise and executed beautifully! She was a pleasure to work with. Very responsive, super sweet, and provided great recommendations for hair stylists, which we went with. Thank you Avery for enhancing the natural beauty of our bridesmaids.

Erin and Brooke provided some beautiful styling for our mothers and bridesmaids. One of our bridesmaids is a hair stylist and she said how great it was to work with them both. All of our ladies had a unique look that worked well with their hair type and complimented their beautiful features. Thank you so much, Erin and Brooke!

Brooke and the Tangles team are amazing! They are so nice, so talented…my bridesmaids and I were very lucky to have them!! Scheduling my trial was very easy, showing Brooke pictures of what I was thinking and she made it come to life!! I felt so comfortable knowing they have been at our venue multiple of times, where good lighting was etc. On the day of the wedding, they were so professional towards me but also towards my bridesmaids. They exceeded all of my expectations! My bridesmaids and I all loved our hair! I would definitely recommend them

Couldn't be happier!

Erin and Brooke did hair for myself and 9 of my bridesmaids and boy am I happy I found them!! We were all obsessed with their work! They really listened to what each of my girls wanted and provided hairstyles that lasted all night! Brooke did my hair trial as well and really helped me find the most perfect hairstyle to match my dress. She listened to what I was envisioning, looked at my wedding gown and provided me with the most perfect hairstyle. I am forever grateful for you, Brooke! Erin and Brooke came to my home the morning of my wedding and made every single one of the girls in my wedding party looks flawless! The hairstyles were all so different and lasted all night! Erin and Brooke did an outstanding on mine and my bridesmaids hair! Every single updo photo we showed them they matched the hair perfect. Erin responded right away to every email I sent her. Erin and her team are beyond wonderful! My bridal updo was absolutely perfect--just as I had envisioned it. Erin is attentive and strives to achieve a perfect result for her clients. On my wedding day, they were punctual (early, even!), calm, organized, and lots of fun to work with. All bridesmaids were happy with their styles. Getting hair done with Erin was of the highlights of my wedding. I don't know about other salons around Utica, but her's is definitely awesome. She squeezed me into her busy schedule last minute and worked with me to create a hairstyle that was perfect for the wedding day. She has a very special eye for beauty, and I recommend her without reservations.

I highly recommend Tangles Salon. Erin and Brooke did a phenominal job for my wedding. My hair looked beautiful and so did each of my nine bridesmaids. And it stayed all night! They were fantastic to work with. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

i couldn't have asked for a better experience from true professionals!! Erin and Brooke are phenemonal stylists. They came to us on our wedding day and completed all of the wedding parties hair in an organized and efficient manner. All of the girls had beautiful yet unique hair dos that lasted until well after the end of the day and it was a crazy hot and humid day!! The service is very personable and their hair technique it above all else. They create beautiful hair while also caring that it stayed perfect for all involved throughout the day. I recommend them to any bride that wants the hair at their wedding to be perfect while encountering a enjoyable stress free morning of!! You guys rock!!

I had Erin and Brooke for my wedding in June... both were amazing! I've been in several weddings where there is always one or two bridesmaids who aren't happy with how their hair turns out, but everyone in my bridal party was very pleased! I thought they did a fantastic job! They were on time and finished before we needed to be done. I highly recommend them!

Erin and Brooke did the most incredible job on the hair styles for my bridal party, my mom and the mother of the groom and of course, my bridal up do. Their professionalism and amazing talent allowed me to feel at ease through the entire process. Erin is an excellent communicator and made it so easy for me to schedule my trial, a trial for each of my sisters and to plan the time line for my actual wedding day. I loved working with Erin from Tangles Salon on my wedding day. I met with her a few months before my wedding and she did a trial with my hair. She paid so much attention to detail and made sure my hair was perfect - and that was just for the trial! On my wedding day, she came fully prepared and did the exact same style that she had done 3 months before. It was perfect. It held throughout the entire day - even through hours of dancing. I would recommend Erin's services to anyone who is getting married and feel very lucky that I got to work with her on my special day. Thank you so much, Erin!!!

Tangles Salon offered more than I could have imagined! Tangles salon was very flexible and accommodating as we had 12 girls and we're on a tight schedule; they made sure we were done on time. Erin and her two other stylists were up and ready waiting for us bright and early. The salon is very clean and has a warm welcoming atmosphere. They worked hard and fast to make each girls vision for how they wanted their hair and made it come to life! I could not be happier with the quality of work Tangles Salon offers!! All of our hair stayed in place for the entire day and night, and everyone still looked amazing the next day! And as a side note, Tangles also has a boutique that many of us enjoyed shopping while we waited and got our hair done!

The girls at tangles are so talented ! Brooke did my bridal hair and it looked like it was a picture on Pinterest! She made even the girls with the thinnest hair have volume and texture! They worked really fast especially since we have 10 girls ! They are amazing at what they so. Highly reccomend

Tangles was recommended to me by the makeup artist because she was unavailable to do hair that day. Right from when I called, Erin was very kind and accommodating! She paid close attention to what I wanted for my wedding, as well as what my girls wanted for their hair. She and Brooke were amazing, efficient, and very professional! It was super convenient having them come to the house the morning of the wedding, and they did a great job! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married!

Tangles Salon recently did my hair for my wedding and I cannot thank them enough! Erin is truly an artist and was able to take my badly damaged hair and, with the help of a few extensions, turn it into a beautiful and elegant bridal updo. She even traveled to us at our nearby hotel so that we didn't have to worry about driving to and from locations on the big day. I would highly recommend working with Erin at Tangles Salon for your upcoming wedding - she is an updo genius!

Tangles was absolutely wonderful on our wedding day! I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Roma area! Two of my girls were half an hour early to our appointment and they took them in and started right away! They had great timing and I never once worried about being on time! All of my girls hair come out beautifully! The girls at Tangles are so easy to work with and very professional! Had a spray tan done on 10/3/14 for a wedding . The spray was natural looking great quality no orange tint like most sprays leave . The salon is super clean and friendly . Very highly recommend !

Amazing service and amazing products!
I would never go anywhere else for my spray tan. Erin gets it right every time; No streaks, no orange, no stickiness or mess! Just a gorgeous sun-kissed glow like you just got back from vacation.

I was planning a wedding from out of town so I had to use online reviews to find Tangles and all were amazing so I used the salon and they were just as good as everyone says they are. My hair came out amazing, I did my hair down with extensions. I did a trial and had some pics of what I wanted and it looked perfect. I would highly recommend!!

Have you ever been to a salon showed the hair dresser a style and then your hair turned out nothing like the picture? This is not, I repeat NOT what you get at Tangles. They do EXACTLY what you want and work with you until it's just right, not a hair out of place (pun intended). The 7 updos that they did for my wedding were absolutely beautiful. They turned out even better than I had imagined. Perhaps I am being biased because it was my event, but I have to say they were the best updos that I have seen, plus they lasted all day and night, including jumping into a pool! I dont know how they do it but they make sure that everything is held tightly in place, hide the pins, and make it comfortable on your head! Myself and my girls were very happy with the salon and I would strongly recommend them to anyone. You would not be disappointed with any of their services. If you are not familiar with the Rome, NY area, and need updos or other services, spray tan, etc. this is definitely the place to go. Not knowing a salon and what to expect is scary, but I can guarantee you will walk away very pleased with this salon.

Erin and Brooke did a wonderful job on the hair for my wedding party. Erin provided a relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for the morning of the wedding. We were all thrilled with the end results, the photos speak volumes! I would absolutely recommend Erin and Brooke to anyone looking for hair stylists for an event :)

I would hands down recommend Erin and her team for any occasion. She listens and puts her expert knowledge/experience into any idea you bring her. She will set up trials before the big day just to make sure she has your exact look you are trying to achieve down. Her and her team are very professional, you can put your trust in them and their skills 110%. They will even travel to you if that's something you are looking for. Her team has the timeline down and keeps things running smooth. I will definitely be using her for all my events and styling needs. Amazing. Thank you so much :)

I would definitely recommend Tangles for your wedding day! The owner, Erin, was so wonderful about setting up practice appointments for me. She really listened to what I wanted, and got it just right! My bridesmaids also looked great! There were multiple stylists available to be sure everyone's hair was done in a timely manner. Erin even welcomed us to bring in refreshments that morning to make the whole day a true celebration! Ps. Tangles does really great spray tans, also! Very evenly done and natural looking!

Erin at Tangles Salon made me feel like a princess on my wedding day! She is wonderful to work with and excellent at her job! We had a huge Bridal Party- and she was able to accommodate all of us on New Years eve! I have had my hair done at Tangles for many other events and always been happy! Having been a participant in a number of weddings, I've had the luxury of being able to try out different hairstyles --- some of which have been good, and others, well, not so good. I can say without hesitation that the updo styling provided for me by stylist Erin Weldon at Tangles Salon has been the best I've ever received. Not only did it look beautiful (and stylistically contemporary) but it lasted for the entire wedding and reception duration. I highly recommend and encourage any bride, bridesmaid, or anyone needing styling for a special occasion to try Tangles Salon.

Erin made sure me and all my girls had a hairstyle that we were comfortable with and fit our personality as well as being sure it could withstand a crazy wedding day and still look great in the end! She was available at whatever time was best for us and happy to be a part of my big day. She has done my hair for other friends weddings too and she's always a sure bet. I would highly recommend her for any of your special day needs as well as your everyday cut, color and style! The BEST around!

Erin is without a doubt the best! Always comes through with something beautiful. Im also difficult so if I don't like something, she's super good about doing whatever I like without issue. (Unless it's a terrible idea... then she's not going to do it until you FULLY understand the repercussions. Ex. I wanted to dye my hair red Really badly. Luckily, Erin was honest about the upkeep of Red especially since my hair has been Barbie blonde forever. Im so glad she did because im sure it would be trouble. Lol) I also like that she attends different conferences and classes once in a while to stay current and learn new techniques. I have sent at least 15 people to her and they all swear by her. She does a great job.

This was my second experience with Tangles Salon. The first time was for my friend's wedding and this past Saturday was for my wedding. The service Erin offers through her salon is incredibly convenient. I was able to have everyone's hair done in the comfort of my own home. It was an amazing experience. Erin and her partner brought all of the supplies needed along with huge stand up mirrors to create a salon experience. In addition to how well everyone's hair turned out, the tangles stylists were relaxed and felt like one of us. They laughed and shared stories with us which added to the fun of the day.
