I can't praise Rich Kenny at
Tampa Event DJ's enough! Rich was amazing. He provided a Dance on the Clouds special effect and we chose to have a Photo Booth as well. Everything was a huge success and the energy Rich provided along with us asking him to choose whatever music he felt the crowd wanted was perfect! Every time I texted him with questions (which was a lot) I'd get an immediate response. We also hired his wife, Eladia with Fusion Creates to be our caterer. She was fabulous as well. Together they make a dynamite team! Their prices were very reasonable for everything they provided. -

Our wedding was an absolute party thanks to them. From start to finish, the energy, professionalism, and production quality were unmatched. Our DJ had everyone on the dance floor all night, his mixes were spot on and he played exactly what we wanted while reading the crowd perfectly.
They truly brought out all the stops - fog, cold sparks, our names projected on the wall, and a beautiful DJ booth setup. We used Tampa Event Group for DJ, MC, lighting, photo, video, and photo booth, and they delivered on every single detail. Our planner recommended them, and they did not disappoint. The value for what you get is incredible, high-end experience that’s still reasonably priced.
A special shoutout to Richard Mercado, who is a true stand-up guy. A few months before the wedding, I had a small billing issue (totally my fault), I’d signed up for payments, then paid in full, and one extra payment accidentally came out while I was out wedding-dress shopping. Without missing a beat, Richard immediately refunded it and made sure everything was corrected within an hour. That kind of honesty and responsiveness says everything about the kind of vendor he is.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Tampa Event Group made our night unforgettable, stress-free, and so much fun. Highly, highly recommend! -

Being in the industry, I've had the opportunity to work with many talented DJs, but no one has become family quite like Rich. From the moment I met him as a wedding planner, I knew he cared deeply about making a couple’s day the most memorable experience possible. So, when choosing a DJ for our Happily Ever After, it was a no-brainer to ask Rich to play at our happy hour.
Since Rick and I were taking a non-traditional approach with our wedding day, I was thrilled that Rich agreed to help with our outside-the-box event. After all, he is known to go the extra mile for his couples. From our last-minute additions of introductions and dances to the unexpected rain, Rich did whatever it took to keep everyone dancing, even lugging speakers to the second floor of the pavilion when the party had to be moved due to the rain.
When you hire Rich, you are hiring someone who is deeply passionate about his events and the couples he plays for. He’s talented, charismatic, and truly genuine. Our wedding took place on October 5th in Clearwater Beach at the Hyatt - in between two hurricanes.
DJ Rich and his team were absolutely amazing from the ceremony music to the lighting to the Photo Booth and most of all keeping us and our guests on the dance floor having the best time in the world! He made our day that much more special and rememberable by not only us but our guests.

DJ Rich Kenny was the entertainment for our wedding and he was phenomenal!!! He I only gave him a couple of songs that were “must plays” and from there he created an amazing playlist. Everyone was up and dancing until the venue was turning the lights back up and setting up to close down. He was interactive and fun. I definitely would recommend his services to anyone looking for a DJ. The photo booth was exceptional too! Everyone loved grabbing some props and taking tons of pictures throughout the party. -

Exceptional!
Tampa Event Group and Rick were exceptional! Our quinceañera night was awesome and super special because of them. Rick took the time to go over every single detail and we had excellent communication before and during the event! Nothing was missed and he even surprised us with a gift for our daughter, we were not expecting it and it made the night even more special! Our FAMILY celebration was one we will never forget because we could feel the love from everyone including Rick and his team! Thank you guys! DJ Rich had the party popping from start to finish! He expertly mixed music that reflected our family backgrounds-Cuban and Guyanese-to ensure that everyone was having a blast on the dancefloor! The music was so good that even random strangers walking past our venue started their own dance party outside! Working with DJ Rich was so fun. He made the planning process so easy with his online portal, which even allowed me to link my Spotify playlists so he could get a sense of our taste in music! I’ve never seen my partner (now, husband) dance so much in my life. We each had a fantastic time and all of our guests have been raving about how awesome the party was! I highly recommend hiring Tampa Event DJs for your wedding or any event!

Two of my main priorities when planning a wedding were to have comfortable shoes and good music. When I got home, in my comfortable and broken in shoes, my feet were still a wreck. \ DJ Rich Kenny kept me on the dance floor so long that my skin fell off. I don't know if there is a better endorsement than that. My husband and I are huge music buffs and Rich knew exactly how to balance our eclectic taste with crowd pleasers that kept the party going all night. We couldn't imagine a better experience with a DJ and are so happy that we chose Tampa Event DJ's for our wedding. They were a crucial part of what ended up being a perfect day for us. -

Hiring DJ Rich for my daughter’s wedding was one of the best decisions we made. He is now my DJ for life!!! I literally cannot say enough good things about him. I also got so many compliments from our guests during the wedding and even after the wedding about how great he was. He helped us come up with a plan for the reception, taking into account our timeline, and everything ran smooth. He played the perfect variety of songs we picked and some that he mixed in that were perfect!!!! He did an amazing job getting tons of people of all ages out on the dance floor and we all truly had a blast!!! He was so easy to work with and very respectful and personable. You will not be sorry if you hire him and he was worth every penny and then some. Thank you Rich for everything!! You are truly exceptional at what you do and the best out there. HIRE DJ RICH KENNY! We had a dry wedding so the music was something we were semi worried about because we knew it’d have to be good to keep everyone dancing. DJ Rich Kenny accommodated to all levels of music, Latin music, old and new, made sure not to play the songs we really didn’t want and we had MULTIPLE people come up to us and say it was the best wedding they had been to in a while and that was thanks to Rich. He made the process so smooth with the questionnaires and the calls, he really made us feel at ease and just his personality is sweet, caring, and kind, we couldn’t recommend him more. Amazing! So much Fun!
Rich was amazing from beginning to start. He’s very well seasoned with weddings and made me feel comfortable from the start. Very professional. I told him how important the music was to me on our special day and he came and blew everyone away. We didn’t stop dancing until friends pulled us to the Photo Booth with them. What an amazing gift that Tampa Event Group had as an add on! It was a beautiful thank you gift for all our friends and we were able to see the digital copies after and it was like we were reliving the night all over again! The best DJ service!
Rich and his team were fantastic! He is a pleasure to work with and very professional. My wife and I hired them for our big day at Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast in February. The entire process from day 1 of hiring him was smooth. He follows up with you, has an easy online process so you (the client) can list all the details and what you want the day of your big wedding on their portal. They showed up on time, worked great with our wedding coordinator and the entire night was flawless! They truly provide more than just good music to dance to; they made it an experience we will never forget. They offer “dancing on the clouds” and provided smoke on the dance floor for my wife and I during our first dance. Everything they did for us was perfect! Thank you Rich! We would hire you again in a heartbeat. -

Rich and his team were so great to work with for our reception. He was very quick to answer any of our questions we had prior to our reception. We wanted to add a funny intro to the reception and he didn't miss a beat. Throughout the he kept us on task and that was extremely helpful as we didn't have a wedding planner. My daughter’s Sweet 16; was absolutely one to remember! All thanks to the professionals of Tempa Events DJ’s and Photographer. Best wedding DJ!
David and I worked with DJ. Rich for our wedding and we have absolutely no regrets. Rich was very professional, organized and very helpful through out this wedding journey. My husband is the one that communicated with Rich the most and from the first time they spoke they clicked David new I found the perfect person to DJ at our wedding. Rich was able to accommodate our large Colombian family! Rich transitioned and mixed all the songs perfectly and new exactly what to play to keep the crowd going. The day of the wedding Rich was very kind and it felt like we new him forever. If you come across Dj Rich don't even think twice about booking him, just book him! I promise you, you won't regret it. -

My husband and I hired DJ Rich for our wedding right before the Covid shut down and that was one of the biggest blessings!!! He was absolutely incredible at communicating, sent us mixes to listen to, and truly listened to every question we had throughout the progress. From start to finish Dj Rich made us feel comfortable and confident that he would successfully MC and bring our wedding to life. From every concern voiced or unknown question, DJ Rich was there to listen and assist any way possible. He was there early to set up and played our ceremony, cocktail hour, as well as reception. He had great enhancements to offer us and I absolutely loved dancing on a cloud for our first dance. At the end of the night Rich did a light show for the guests and the dance floor was PACKED! No one was ready for it to end and they wanted to dance all night because the music was just that good! My husband and I finished off with a private last dance and looking back at our wedding it was just pure magic. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how phenomenal our DJ was and how much fun they had the entire night. We would absolutely hire him again for any future events and we truly appreciate how much time he put into making our wedding music so amazing! -

I originally hired Rich as my DJ but with a last min family emergency he was able to replace himself with a DJ and MC to take over with in minutes of letting me know he couldn't make it. with that being said I would choose this company over anyone else again In the future! Not only is he EXTREMELY professional, organized, timely - he is extremely talented. He is a talented musician and fine crafted in his incredible skill. He is a people person and provides such an amazing energy. I do not see Rich as just a vendor, he is part of our family. He was able to accommodate our large Polish American wedding beyond our vision had ever imagined. He included all the Disco Polo and Goralskie Folk Songs my family could ever wish for. My family and friends CONTINUE to rave about him. He took time to listen and provide effective advice. He worked very well with our entire coordination team, Wilder Mind Events and our Film/Photo team J + S Media -- they are honestly the dream team.

Rich was our wedding DJ, but calling him "just a DJ" doesn't even begin to do justice to everything he brought to our special day. From the very beginning, over a year and a half ago, Rich became an invaluable part of our wedding journey. He took the time to understand our vision, helped us navigate the planning process, and ultimately brought our dream wedding to life masterfully.
On the wedding day itself, he was nothing short of incredible. As an emcee, Rich kept everything flowing seamlessly, kept our guests engaged, and most importantly, kept the party and the vibes going all night long! The dance floor was packed, the energy was amazing, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had.
