Tall Timber Barn is an absolute DREAM! By far the most unique and special venue we could have chosen for our special day. It is hard to put into words how beautiful this venue is without seeing it for yourself. You feel like you're in a little village of an enchanted forest. Michelle, Ralph and all of TTB's staff worked so hard before, during and after our wedding to make sure it went by seamlessly...and it did! It was by far the best and most beautiful day of our lives!
When Michael and I first saw photos of Tall Timber Barn, we knew we HAD to see it in person. The day we went for a tour it was the foggiest day out, but we were lucky enough to be meet and be greeted by Mia. Even on a gloomy day, it was absolutely stunning. After meeting with Mia, we knew this was where we wanted to get married.
Fast forward a bit - the planning process was easy. Michelle reassured us of every detail and would answer any email promptly or hop on a call/answer texts if we had any questions. Leading up to the wedding, she was on top of everything. When we arrived for the rehearsal and dropped off all of our décor, Michelle just wanted to know placement, but said "don't worry - I have it covered" and she did. I was thinking I would have to set up the photo backdrop, but again she assured me they had it covered. It really took a load of pressure off of my shoulders and relieved my anxiety of "perfection" because I knew she was on our side to make our day perfect.
The day of our wedding, Michelle was on top of everything! She was constantly on the move making sure myself and Michael were in place of where we needed to go and comfortable. The venue looked absolutely stunning and was exactly what I imagined. Throughout the evening, Michelle made sure we always had a drink or water in hand and made sure our guests were comfortable.
The food is phenomenal! Ralph (owner) is the chef and puts his heart and soul into every dish! He can accommodate any type of menu you'd like, as personal as you'd like! Everything was tasty, fresh and exactly what we pictured! There was something for everyone and only heard outstanding reviews from our guests after the wedding. Our guests also enjoyed being able to sit where they pleased with no pressure added. Some sat at tables, some at high top tables and even some ate by the fire pits! It was excellent!
The outdoor chapel - simply perfect. The cool breeze and just being IN nature made our ceremony one to remember for a lifetime. We were draped by greenery and trees in the forest, with the sun peaking through and I couldn't have imagined a better place. My heart warms just thinking back to it.
The barn - so fun! I love the rustic and informal, yet elegant vibe. The dance floor was bumping all evening and couldn't have chosen a better setting! ALL of our guests had so much fun all night long!
The cannon! DO IT! Forget fireworks and sparklers.....this.is,the,best.
If I could rate Tall Timber Barn out of 10, I would say it's 100000/10. YOU are their main priority, and will do anything to make your dream wedding come true.

We cannot recommend Tall Timber Barn highly enough—it was the perfect venue for our wedding, and truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The setting is stunning, the value is exceptional, and most importantly, the people behind it made all the difference.
Michelle and the chef were phenomenal. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine excitement for our celebration made the planning process seamless and joyful. Michelle took the reins on our wedding day, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Her calm and confident presence was a gift. The chef? Absolutely unforgettable. His personality lit up the room, and his culinary creations were out of this world—our guests are still raving about the food!
Tall Timber Barn tailored every detail to reflect our personalities and dreams. The atmosphere was magical, and the cannon shot was a huge hit—such a fun and unique touch that added to the excitement! Our guests were blown away by the charm and energy of the entire experience.

We got married at Tall Timber Barn in June, and though this review is long overdue, we can’t recommend it highly enough! Instead of eloping, my wife and I decided on an intimate gathering of just 12 people. From the start, the venue was incredibly responsive and more than willing to accommodate our small group.
As soon as we arrived, we knew this was the perfect place for our wedding. The setting is rustic yet charming, tucked among the forest and rhododendron thickets of the Poconos, which created such a beautiful backdrop for photos. The day was more magical than we ever could have imagined. We also loved having access to a private “getting ready” cabin, which helped us to calm our nerves leading up to the ceremony.
Michelle, our day-of coordinator, was with us every step of the way. She struck the perfect balance of being easygoing and meticulous. She took care of the fine details and made sure everything flowed seamlessly, which kept the day stress-free for us.
We were able to customize our menu for cocktail hour and dinner, choosing from a list of suggested options (with the flexibility to add our own ideas). Everything from the charcuterie board to the hors d’oeuvres to dinner was fantastic! We brought our own booze and cake, and Michelle and her team took care of the rest.
The venue itself is thoughtfully designed for peace of mind, too. While the outdoor space and dining areas are absolutely gorgeous, the barn is another option in case of rain and there are also bathrooms available for guests. We also appreciated having the freedom to hire our own photographer (shout out to Zak Zavada), florist (Imaginations Florals), and stylist (Renae's salon in Wilkes Barre), which allowed us to add our own personal touches to the experience.
All in all, it was an absolutely magical day. If we could, we’d do it all over again in a heartbeat! -

The venue is perfectly secluded and has all the charm you could ask for. It is not just a barn in a field, it is an entire compound. Multiple buildings, dining areas, and firepits makes you feel like you are in a little village rather than just a barn in the woods. The venue itself is the decoration and unlike any other venue I have ever been to. Michelle is the rockstar of the entire operation. She is a great resource the from the moment we booked and handles it all from decorations and menu planning to operating as a day of coordinator. The food was phenomenal and our guests are still talking about the meal they had. Cannot recommend Tall Timbers Barn enough. They go above and beyond and care for you and your day more than you could ask. -

I cannot express how much I loved this venue. I was originally looking for venues in upstate NY because I love the Catskills and love being among the trees, but everything there was so pricy. NJ was also too pricy, and the venues were not on lands that I particularly cared for (farmland, etc.) As soon as I saw pictures for Tall Timber Barn, I knew that in my heart that this was the place I wanted to get married at. And when we toured the grounds, it only further confirmed my gut feeling. It doesn't hurt that it does not break the bank, either!
Michelle, the coordinator, was very helpful and responsive! She was able to answer any questions that me and my husband had, helped us with anything our vendors needed, and was amazing the day of as well. She even directed us to the chef who is responsible for the menu, who said that if we give him a recipe, he could have it at our wedding, and he did it! Granted, it won't be the same, but the gesture was still great.
Even the staff the day of was wonderful and helped move things along the schedule and packed up all of the personal effects that we brought.
All in all, I recommend this place to anyone who wants a wedding that's in the trees, that's whimsical and fairytale-like, or who wants it to be like a Catskills/PNW wedding without being in the Catskills/PNW (or putting a hole in your wallet!) -

Our wedding at Tall Timber barn was all that I had dreamed of and more! Our wedding planner Michelle walked us thru every step and assisted with all details. Answered all of my texts when I was frantic the week before and she made sure everything went smoothly on the big day! The food was excellent and atmosphere was the rustic and warm environment

Tall Timber Barn was such a beautiful location for our recent wedding. Michelle was super responsive to our emails and any questions we had leading up to the day. They were very accommodating for guests who had mobility impairments, using a golf cart to get them up to the ceremony site and putting ramps up to the barn for a scooter to go up. The food was great and all of our guests had a wonderful time. Highly recommended! -

When my wife and I began our wedding planning process, she was uncertain about the complexity and cost of a “full” wedding. However, everything changed when we visited Tall Timber Barn. Her eyes lit up, and from that moment, we were had a dream of a wedding in the pines. From beginning to end, Michelle was the ideal coordinator. She was communicative and reassuring and had everything under control! This venue is everything you could dream of in a rustic, outdoor wedding. Despite the rain on our wedding day, Michelle and the staff were able to adapt dynamically right up until the last moment, pulling off our perfect ceremony and reception. All of the staff were enthusiastic and helpful, and Ralph’s wedding feast was superb. Their well-established reputation and connections with many vendors in the Pocono area were incredibly helpful! If you envision a magical forest wedding followed by an evening of dancing, warm fires, and lively conversation, Tall Timber Barn is perfection!
P.S. If you’re concerned about rain on your outdoor wedding day, don’t be. They’ve got it covered. -

What an amazing day
I never in my wildest dreams thought that everything would come out so perfect and beautiful as it did on my wedding day. The staff was so unbelievably helpful to us throughout the whole entire process even on the days that I drove Michelle crazy. Everything went smoothly and I’ve had nothing but compliments on how beautiful everything was Every time I see one of my guest. The cannon shot was a huge success and everybody was raving about that. Words cannot express the perfection that was our wedding day at Tall Timber Barn. Michelle and Ralph were so amazing to work with from start to finish! I never could have imagined the amount of compassion, attention to detail, and professionalism that is Tall Timber Barn. The 48 hours before our wedding was the MOST stressful time of my life and once we got to the ceremony all the stress just faded away! Amazing unique venue!
We absolutely loved having our small wedding at Tall Timber Barn. It should 100% be the top venue for small weddings in the area! Because of the natural beauty and decor they provide, we saved a fortune on decor and florals. Our dinner was a taco bar which was delicious and everyone loved it! The venue grounds are perfect for a laid back intimate wedding, and the provided coordinator was amazing to work with. Have your wedding here - you won't regret it! -

There are no words to describe how perfect and wonderful this venue was. It was the best place for our modern Viking wedding. The changing of the leaves was the perfect backdrop the rustic look really pulled it all together. Don’t get me started on the coordinator Michelle she was amazing to work with and when our cake never showed she went out and got us a cheesecake just so we had something. Also setting off the cannon was a blast! -

September 2023 Wedding
Tall Timber was the only venue we even looked at. Having growing up just a few miles down the road, I knew this was the only place I wanted to get married. I fell in love with the raw beauty of it, it's truly such a hidden gem. All of our guests complimented on how unique the venue was and how they loved not just sitting at a table in a basic wedding hall. If our guests wanted to dance, they could join us in the barn but if they wanted to just relax by the fire they could do that too! We wanted our day to be intimate and personal and Tall Timber was able to do just that. Michelle made sure the day ran smoothly and was on top of everything the entire night, which allowed my type A self to relax and dance the night away. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose TTB. -

Magical Wedding in the Woods!
As soon as we saw the photos of this venue we knew it was the one. My husband and I are outdoorsy and wanted a beautiful forest setting for our wedding and this venue absolutely delivered an amazing experience. Our guests even described it as "feels like I'm in a movie".
There were so many charming and beautiful elements to this venue: the picturesque ceremony site "chapel in the woods", open air rustic wooden tables with lanterns hanging overhead, bistro lights, firepits, modern and stylish bar, and the barn building was the perfect size and ambiance for dancing.
Everything is surrounded by lush forest so there is minimal decorating to do. I was able to have the enchanted woodland wedding of my dreams and my husband was able to have the rustic experience he wanted. He especially loved the hunting themed decor and cannon we got to shoot. Our guests loved the cannon!
The staff was professional, kind, and attentive to our needs. Michelle was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding day and made sure everything went smoothly on the day of. I'm a wedding vendor myself (live painter) with years of experience working weddings every weekend and this was exactly the venue experience I was looking for. They're a family-owned business that takes great care and attention to detail in the service they provide.

We got married at Tall Timber on 11/12/22, and just like my title says, I wish we could do it over and over again. From the second we pulled up we knew this is exactly where we were to get married. Michelle was my rock during the planning process, she was so responsive and kind. We continue to get so many compliments about how unique the venue is and how amazing the food was. We had a small wedding, around 40 people, and Tall Timber made us feel like we had the wedding of the century from start to finish. The staff during the wedding was also amazing, they were so quick and helpful. We already can't wait to go back for a visit for our one year anniversary next year. Honestly before looking at this place, I looked into 3 others. Definitely the types of venues I was looking for, but nothing like wow! Then my cousin happened to come across this place because one of her friends got married here. So my Fiance and I went to see it. Andet me tell you I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, owner and coordinator super friendly. And best part was food is fantastic. If you are looking for an outdoor/inside barn wedding. This is your place to be. Friends and family are still talking about this Venue. -

Wedding of our dreams
We were looking for a barn style outdoor venue that wasn’t the typical modern barn look. Something more reminiscent of Vermont for an early fall wedding, conveniently placed in the Poconos. Our coordinator, Michelle, was very responsive and accommodating. Ralph was so down to earth and worked with our menu budget to ensure we had the best possible meal without breaking the bank. It was so nice knowing a bartender was on staff, set up and take down wasn’t on us and everything was smooth sailing. It really helped ease the stress of planning.
We had the best night of our lives.

Wedding venue
Tall Timber Barn was absolutely stunning on my wedding day! I can not have imagined it any different. It is a gorgeous venue! Michelle our wedding coordinator had everything planned out perfectly and did an amazing job arranging decorations and having the day planned out. Everything was exceptional. I am very very happy with how everything turned out. All of our guests loved the venue and said it was one of the best weddings they have ever attended. It is great how you can enjoy the whole venue and are not stuck sitting at an assigned table. There are fire pits at night and multiple areas to sit and converse. It was stunning! We had the most special 15 person wedding at Tall Timber Barn. When we decided to drop our big wedding plans and look for a new venue Tall Timber Barn checked all the boxes. We were looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony space and a place for an intimate family dinner. We saw TTB and signed the contract on August 12th and got married there October 23rd. Michelle and her team were so easy to work with and really thought of everything. They made planning a wedding in 2 1/2 months seamless and recommended some great local vendors along the way. Our family was taken away with how beautiful the barn is. Photos just don’t do it justice. I was worried our small wedding would look funny in the barn but Michelle staged it perfectly. I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. -

TTB is such a unique and beautiful wedding venue hidden in the woods. We fell in love with it the first time we visited. Michelle worked with me to make sure every detail was exactly how I imagined (even in the rain). The staff was very accommodating, especially for our older/handicapped guests which was very important to us. Food was excellent. The fire pits are a nice touch if it is nice out at night. All of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, it’s absolutely incredible! -

Words can not describe how amazing our wedding at Tall Timber Barn was. It felt like a fairy tale dream. Everything from the gorgeous ceremony, to happy hour, dinner and reception was exceptional. People could not stop telling us how this was the best wedding they have ever been too. There is just something in the air in this place. Michelle, our coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She went up and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Responding to us within 24 hours and working with our specific needs. The food, ambiance and everything was something so special it felt like a dream. Lots of space for dancing during the reception as well. I love how the venue has the option for dancing and chilling for the guests (though most of us were dancing). I highly suggest Tall Timber Barn if you are looking for a unique, intimate, rustic and Fun wedding. A day we will never forget! -

Wedding or another event, Tall Timber Barn is a hidden gem and you should look no further for a venue! We hosted about 50 of our closest friends & family for our rehearsal dinner @ TTB and had our wedding at Skytop Lodge (7 min away). The venue & staff were spectacular to say the least. Super responsive, easy to work with and truly wanted to make our vision come true. TTB is a rustic barn in the middle of the Poconos forest. It has many different spots to entertain, but we did cocktails outside by the fire pits and in the barn, followed by dinner in the pavilion (a stunning covered wooden porch). TTB will take care of the food, staffing, linens, tableware, lanterns, lighting, etc. You BYO alcohol, live music & flowers which was super easy because they have various suggested vendors. Thank you so much TTB for making our rehearsal dinner so special. I couldn't recommend this venue more! Months later, we are still getting compliments on it!! -

The best!
It was worth the hour and a half drive out to Canadensis, PA. Mia was an absolute dream to work with. She worked as our day of coordinator and being someone who didn't hire a wedding planner this was the best thing ever! The venue is exactly what we wanted. My husband and I are not at all traditional. Neither of us are dancers so when we go to weddings, sometimes we feel stuck at our table. We wanted to make sure all of our guests had options other than dancing. This venue fit us perfectly. The ceremony in the woods, the barn, 2 huge fire pits, a space for cornhole, giant jenga, a cigar bar, etc, and a cannon shot to end the night! The service was fantastic as well. They truly go above and beyond to make sure all of your guests are taken care of. My husband decided later into the night that he was hungry, and Mia and the staff fixed him another plate of food without hesitation. They do have in house catering and can adjust to whatever you want. Mia's husband Ralph is the chef and he was in contact with us pretty regularly to design our menu. Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was. I believe the term most used is "a hallmark movie" or "something out of a movie". I cannot thank Mia, Ralph, and the entire TTB staff enough for making our vision come to life. -

Couldn't have been more perfect!!!
I just got married at TTB and I can’t even put into words how magical it was! Tall Timber Barn charmed every single person in attendance. Photos don’t do it justice, you must visit and walk the property. It feels like its own little village.
Mia’s eye for design shows in every small detail. In fact, they hosted a dinner over the summer for future brides and grooms, and the venue looked stunning just as she had set it up. After seeing how beautiful it was, I asked her to do the same thing for my wedding, and I was able to save a lot of time and money on floral centerpieces. I barely brought any decorations at all because I knew she had it covered!
Mia is very kind, helpful, and organized. She was a major help leading up to and especially on the day of the wedding. She was always thinking of things that I hadn’t. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious. I wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding day. This venue is unlike any other, it’s truly a magical woodsy oasis.

Mia was so wonderful and peaceful to work with, my daughter felt at ease from the first meeting!! We never once worried if something would “fall through the cracks” or not be taken care of! The grounds are AMAZING!!! We even had a bit of rain midway through the reception but it added to the beauty and no one skipped a beat!!!
Many of our family and friends commented that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they’ve attended. I believe the elegant, casual but classy feel of the Tall Timber has a huge part in forming those opinions!!!

I cannot rate TTB enough in terms of a positive experience. We chose the venue because it's in our hometown, and it was the perfect mix of casual and elegant, it was rustic and unique and fit perfectly with who we are as a couple. We planned our wedding abroad so really wanted a team who would take care of all the big details for us and TTB delivered this. Working with Michelle was really seamless: she was responsive and helpful, especially considering we were planning across different time zones. The venue is so special: the wooded grove for the ceremony surrounded by rhododendrons, the barn decorated with local signage, the different breakout areas across the venue with various fire pits, etc. and the addition of a cornhole section! So many guests commented how it was the most unique and special venue they've been to and we couldn't agree more. We loved our event at Tall Timbers- such a fun variety of spaces and the setting is spectacular! The coordinator was very flexible with our desires and needs.
