Our Villa Wedding
I initially wrote a review that was a one star rating and decided to give Tai Flora a second chance. From the moment Marisa contacted me until the day after our wedding she was exceptional. I don’t have the words to describe how truly grateful we are for our planner/coordinator Marisa. Everything does happen for a reason. I honestly think she was the person that we needed for our wedding. She listened to every single detail and was as meticulous as we were ensuring that everything was done well. We had a few obstacles especially within the last month and it became unbelievably stressful especially not being on the ground and this woman was patient with us. This is truly what makes a company stand out from the rest. Marisa was able to accommodate us and we are truly indebted to her for this. Marisa, if you read these reviews, we are definitely handing you your flowers today as you deserve them. We hope this company sees your talent and realizes who they truly have in you. You are a professional, detailed, and most of all talented. I thought I had the planning all figured out but you opened my eyes and my goodness! You made our day just remarkable. Marisa saved the Day!
Marisa was exceptionnel, with limited amount of time for planning not only did she put my mind at ease her level of professionalism and execution carried out this event and styling to perfection.
Every obstacle we encountered, Marisa was able to find a solution. It was not easy planning a 50th celebration from overseas , and with limited time and Christmas around the corner, everyone from vendors to catering and a built in personalized bar was made possible .
From the flowers , candle lit dinner tables and lighting was perfect for a dinner a la Fresca .

My dreams and beyond! The absolute best
When planning our wedding in Jamaica. I had a specific vision and after doing my research I came across Tai Flora to say they are amazing would be an understatement. My work schedule keeps me very busy so I really wanted someone who could do it all and not have a million phone calls. I sent them 7 photos and they truly nailed it and brought them to life. When I showed up to our wedding I was awe struck. They blew me away. I cannot say enough about tai flora. I want to do it all over again. They were amazing!

Beautiful Flowers
Tai Flora provided us with the most beautiful flowers for our special day! Khadine was our POC. We live in the US and held our wedding at the Tryall Club in Jamaica- so all meetings were virtual, aside from our onsite walk throughout. Khadine was so helpful throughout the entire process - she understood my vision perfectly, while also, helping us stay within budget! The flowers were stunning, truly amazing - highly recommend the Tai Flora team!

Tai Flora - Wedding The Tryall Club
Working with Khadine at Tai Flora was amazing. We did not have as big of a budget as their typical client, but they gladly worked with us to cut back where we could without compromising our vision. They handled everything from renting tables, chairs, linens, plus a gorgeous archway, bouquets, centerpieces, and more. Everything was completely seamless and turn out better than we imagined it!!

I am an event planner and there's always a sense of anxiety when booking vendors you don't know. I must say, Khadine and her team made this process so smooth. She took the tine to educate me on the best floral arrangements for the budget. She is very knowledgeable on the types of flowers and design aspects to maximize your floral impact! She helped us make the best decision and the outcome was so beautiful. It was so easy working with them, and have seen their other work around the island. They are the best at what they do, and will calling them for any of my floral and design needs whenever I have an event on the island.

All little girls dream about their wedding day. My imagination paled in comparison to what Tai Flora delivered. Never had I imagined that my big day could be so grand and beautiful. Tai Flora ensured we had nothing to worry about. We had already booked and paid for another venue. We made contact with Tai Flora to supply the flowers and other necessities for the wedding. We were then asked if we were interested in another location off Longhill overlooking picturesque Montego Bay. From the moment we went to the venue we completely forgot about the prior location. We needed no convincing, this was definitely going to be our wedding venue. This scenery is second to none. The view captivated all our wedding guests and I swear they didn’t want to leave.
I chose a colour scheme, chairs and chargers, the rest was all done by the remarkable Tai Flora team headed by Sacha Hossman and our amazing wedding planner, Songe Sandcoft. Everything was fixed to perfection from the gorgeous serpentine tables to the beautiful hydrangeas (and can we talk about that view again, breathtaking is an understatement). Often times couples usually have to get into a car and drive to another location to take pictures, there was absolutely no need for that. The property is filled with amazing, picturesque views which will leave any couple staring wide eyed at their wedding photos. We loved everything about this location. The entire Tai Flora team executed each task with a high level of professionalism. It was as if we had known each other for many years. They were warm, inviting, friendly and down to earth.
I can undoubtedly say, when planning a wedding there are two things you must do:
1. Marry your best friend
2. Ensure Tai Flora plans your wedding.
You will definitely have no regrets. Thank you Tai Flora for making this little girl’s dream come true (and my mother’s too)…

Every little girl dreams of an amazing wedding surrounded by family and friends. My imagination came nothing close to what Tai Flora delivered. Tai Flora went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was the best experience ever. We arrived at the venue and couldn't believe this was actually our wedding. Sacha, Songe and the entire team are angels sent from above, they made sure we were very calm from planning to execution and even after the wedding they were right there with us ensuring our photos and honeymoon were up to par. This is by far the only place you should choose to bring your wedding to life, we call them the 'one stop shop' for weddings. All our guests were completely blown away by the venue they chose for us tucked away in the hills overlooking picturesque Montego Bay. It was breathtaking. The blush and gold decor was second to none. We are super happy with the life long memories Tai Flora helped to create for us, we were truly blessed to have them take care of us.

FLoral and Decor for My Destination Wedding
Having a destination wedding can be very challenging, being so far away and not being able to sit and discuss eye to eye with your vendors. There is alot of emailing, phone calls, messaging, etc. back and forth. Khadine Blake was my consultant with Tai Flora and I originally sent her some ideas I had envisioned for my BIG day. Khadine provided me with several options to chose from and ponder over for the next year. I was not trying to be a Bridezilla by far but I changed options many times. Once it was said and done, my expectations were blown off the coast of Jamaica. The day I walked into the wedding office and saw the set-up that was going to be at my wedding and reception it took my breath away and gave me goose bumps! The anticipation was heightened to see the reaction of my now husband's face as well as my guest. We had 130 people from the US who had flown to Jamaica to witness our union and they were floored by how beautifully everything was done. I highly recommend Tai Flora services to any bride with high expectations as mine were. The customer service was just as good as the quality of work. Great Job, Tai Flora Team

I loved my flowers for my wedding!!!
I have no complaints with Tai Flora's services for my destination wedding! I ordered 5 bouquets and 5 boutonnieres. One of the bouquets were customized to coordinate with the orange/ papaya dresses and Patrice did a beautiful job with the white, orange roses and peach orchids. They were so pretty, I brought them back home to Canada.

We had a destination wedding so we weren’t able to just go see our florist and pick out what we wanted. But the communication and ease with Marisa at Tai Flora made it so easy! We emailed and had phone calls, she got my bouquets and centerpieces even better than what I pictured. They were amazing and I highly recommend them!

Absolutely stunning!
My husband and I had a destination wedding st GRAND PALLADIUM JAMAICA in Lucea. We had 85 total guests and the wedding was more beautiful then we ever imagined.
The resort referred us to TAI FLORA for our flowers and decor. KHADINE was the consultant from Tai Flora that helped us throughout the planning process. Instead of selecting from one of the wedding packages, we chose to personalize our own flowers. Khadine helped bring our wedding vision to life. We went with white flowers with hints of blush and lots of greenery to complete our look.
Our guests could not stop talking about how absolutely stunning our ceremony was. We opted to have our ceremony in the Angel's Atrium and it was the most perfect venue. We had white chairs, white rose pedals in the aisle, aisle markers with white flowers andgreenery with white ribbon, a 4 post mahogany arch with sheer white drapery, and beautiful flower arrangements.
Our reception was just as beautiful. We had it in the Blue Lagoon. We had white drapery with fairy lights for our ceiling decor and it was absolutely stunning. The centerpieces were so beautifully put together. For our head tables we had greenery garlin with white and blush flowers.
All our flowers and decor were phenomenal, I could not have been happier. Everything from our bouquets and boutineers, to our ceremony decor and our reception decor were impressive. TAI FLORA completely exceeded our expectations and put together the most beautiful arrangements of flowers and decor that we could have ever asked for. Thank you so much to Tai Flora, Khadine and Dr. Hossmann for all their hard work. We will forever remember how beautiful our wedding was because of all their efforts.

I could not have been happier with our BEAUTIFUL flowers from Tai Flora! Planning a destination wedding was difficult at times but the communication from Tai Flora was incredible and made the planning process a breeze! Flavea was absolutely wonderful to work with! She made my vision come to life even though my requests were all over the place. Having a destination wedding with 75 guest from the US and France can make any bride stir crazy. The last thing I wanted to deal with and or decide on were flowers that I can’t immediately see. I would look at Pinterest and like an idea from each picture but wasn’t sure how it would look together. I was a nervous wreck. Flavea was calm, professional, flexible and very responsive to my needs. I truly felt she genuinely wanted me to be happy and wanted me to trust that she had it covered. On the day of my wedding I did not do a prelook. I figured it’s too late to make any changes now so I’ll just deal with whatever happens. Everything was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and far exceeded my expectations! I still get teary eyed every time I look at the pictures. Thank you so much for making our special day that much more beautiful!

I had the pleasure to work with Tai Flora on behalf of my client for their wedding of 250 guests in Montego Bay, Jamaica! I had been planning, discussing with Khadine from Tai Flora for over a year. As the wedding planner and designer I came up with the design and Tai Flora executed it and I must say they did a FABULOUS job and executed everything to the T. Tai Flora was the recommended florist for the resort we got married at. Our representative, Jodi-Ann, was very responsive and helpful with making suggestions within our budget. The flowers turned out beautiful, the roses especially were stunning and huge! My bouquet looked exactly like the photo I had sent. The primary color of the bridesmaids’ bouquets was a little different than I expected, but I hadn’t been overly specific with what I wanted and they still fit in with the rest of our decor. We also rented chiavari chairs from Tai Flora because it was cheaper than using the ones the resort had. Overall we were very satisfied and the flowers were a gorgeous part our ceremony and reception!

My wedding flowers were beautiful! I sent them pictures of what i wanted and the arrangements looked better than the pictures! Very pleased with the quality. My only complaint was they did not process my order early enough and initially thought they would not be able to get the type of flowers I wanted. In the end it worked out fine and they were able to get everything I asked for. The flowers were a little pricey but being in Jamaica I was willing to pay as I did not have many options. Would recommend this vendor!

I sent an email on December 10th. Got a response to say they were introducing me to the wedding planner Fiona Walker who initially wasn’t added to the email but when I reached out to say I don’t think she was added they later added her. Today is January 9th and after sending an email of disappointment, I’ve decided to write my review. My wedding isn’t this year it is next year, however, a simple professional email making contact from the planner would suffice. Needless to say, I dear not use them for my wedding as disappointments aren’t what I’m looking for on my very important day. It’s quite unfortunate that they choose to ignore who they want to without even meeting the individual. If you are busy, say so, if I’m inquiring too early, say so but please do not ignore people who want to hire you.
Fast forward to someone getting back to me…. Marisa has professional and thorough so far. Far from the intial experience. I thought about trying Tai Flora Luxe long and hard and have decided I will try them after all. Second chances are worth it!

They make your vision into reality!
I recently got married in Jamaica where we were introduced to Tai Flora. I must say the planning of my wedding was off to a rocky start as our original hotel choice had to be changed 3 months prior to the event. However, Tai Flora saved the day with one of their expert staff MARISA who went above and beyond to make my day special. When I say "above and beyond", I really mean just that. She went above her call of duty and pay grade in order to ensure I was a happy bride (that's not an easy task) :-)
Even though we changed hotels and Marisa was no longer my floral coordinator, she ensured that all my wishes were carried out to the end and even subsequent to the wedding day. My flowers and decor were BEAUTIFUL and exactly as I had visioned. The compliments are never ending and I still gasp at the elegance and beauty when I look at my pictures and video. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Khadine, another Tai staff who brought this all together on my wedding day. EXCELLENT STAFF!
In terms of price, well you get what you pay for!
Tai Flora is a bit on the pricey side but again, my taste is pricey :-)

Tai Flora did the flowers and some of the decor for my wedding. In the end my wedding (including the decor and the flowers) came out absolutely amazing, but it was initially frustrating to deal with the company as there was a lack of responsiveness in the early months. Fortunately I worked with Jennie from the Ocho Rios office in the later part of my planning who was a delight and very responsive. Tai Flora is not cheap but it is one of few flower importers in the country so they benefit from being able to import their own flowers. I wanted a very rustic feel for my wedding and so the flowers I wanted needed to be in more dusty tones and complemented by succulents. Tai Flora was able to execute my vision for my flowers exceptionally well.

They did a beautiful job. I agree the decor is lovely but I thought their services need improvement. I did have some hiccups regarding payment as I didn't receive the invoice a day prior to our wedding date so that was 'fun' figuring it out on one of our most busiest days. I notice most of the candles were not lit for the reception and we ordered gray linen underlays and a white lace linen overlay for the reception tables. The white lace linen was so gorgeous, custom made too. I didn't expect it to be thicker and more solid or else we could of saved some money and not use the gray linen underlay because you couldn't tell it was there. I wish they told us that. Also, I ordered extra chairs to seat for our vendors for dinner and they missed it so our vendors ate standing up which I feel bad because I told them they had a table to sit and eat. Though this was a mandatory vendor through our resort, I thought prices were a little high especially for a destination wedding, especially with the currency exchange rate.

I am not sure if my budget was enough for the but i did say i was flexible. At the end it all came together nicely, the flowers looked a little tired tho.

Ensure that the representative understands your (the couple) vision and is attentive. As for the flower arrangements with the bouquet, that was beautifully done.

Used for bouquet and buttonholes for bridal party. Very slow to respond when trying to discuss flowers required for my bouquet. After about 4 emails finally said coral /peach peonies were out of season and couldn't source them. Why send a catolgue of floral arrangements and then state you can't supply them? I eventually brought my own artificial coral peonies which they used and put a few roses and orchids in it; there were more artificial flowers than real ones- very disappointing especially when they still charged me full price for the bouquet. I made my own artificial bouquets up for my bridesmaids, and the only difference between theirs and mine was that mine was slightly larger, a big disappointment for my wedding. Also Tai Flora were unwilling to hire out vases for our reception and wanted assurances that they wouldn't be broken. Everyone knows if you hire items and they are damaged, you loose your deposit... very perplexed by their attitude. Would not recommend, very poor service. Used for my destination wedding at the Riu Montego Bay, Jamaica October 2016.

After 25 years of project management and event design, I have never encountered a more unprofessional vendor. Our venue listed them as a preferred vendor, so we spent months trying to contact them about finalizing the order for floral, tables, chairs, and lighting. A week before they event they were still quoting prices. The day before the wedding, Genivive emailed a short note to say that they could not fulfill our floral order. They delivered the wrong tables and then were hours late delivering the correct order. I am relieved that Goldeneye, one of our favorite boutique hotels in the West Indies, will no longer allow Tia Flora to be a vendor for their guests.
