    Perfection

I had my wedding at The Taft Museum of Art in July 2018 and we are SO HAPPY we went with this venue. The Taft recently hired a new event manager, Alyssa, and she is WONDERFUL. Her boss, Nick, was also helpful making sure her transition into the new role went smoothly. Nick reassured me and answered every question during the transition process. Everyone answered all my questions and met with me two weeks before the big day to make sure every detail was covered. Alyssa made sure all the vendors knew what they were doing when they arrived and I didn't have to handle a thing the day of. She took care of everything after the reception had ended and my fiance and I could party alongside our guests - not worrying about where the decorations would go or what things needed to get thrown away. We were even able to pick items up the next day so nobody had to carry items to their car after the wedding ended. Alyssa texted me the morning of and found me when I arrived at the venue to see if I needed anything. At one point, I was shaking from hunger and she brought me out a whole plate of hors d'oeuvres. I just can't say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Taft. Make sure you go with the caterer at The Taft, Luke -- we got SO many compliments on the food! It was the best wedding food I've ever had

We hosted an afternoon wedding at the Taft. We worked with Nick who helped plan the event and Luke who set our menu. The event went absolutely smoothly and we enjoyed every minute. Nick managed multiple vendors, kept the event moving and was very flexible in making adjustments as the weather was much chillier than anticipated. Our reception food was of exceptional quality. Like many couples, we were nervous about our ceremony and reception and our expectations were exceeded.

The Taft was the perfect venue for us. Kitty, Cynthia, Jenna, and Luke all worked to make our day special and hassle-free. They helped us get the wines we wanted, set up the ceremony and reception, and managed all the vendors on the day-of.

They work well with Jeff Thomas Catering, our caterer, and ultimately provided an amazing night for a great price. They are not the cheapest, but they are certainly one of the best venues in Cincinnati.

I would also recommend the Residence Inn as a hotel for guests since it's less than a block away and the Rooftop Bar there for the night-before festivities.

I would definitely recommend the Taft for any outdoor event!

Outstanding and beautiful! There is nothing else I can say. We chose the perfect place for our reception! They have their own liquor license so we needed to use their bar, but still everything was worth it.

What can I say?...It was a fairytale wedding! The Facilities Rental Manager, Kitty Paschall, was a life saver. She completely coordinated deliveries with vendor and the day of timeline. My mom and I did not have to do any day of set up or crisis control. Kitty was even there during the entire reception!! Truly a diamond in the rough in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.

BEST kept secret in Cincinnati!! Our reception was truly beautiful and unique. They even have a lounge area by the bar, which was so hip and fun! LOVED it!! Only wish our photographer would have taken more pictures there b/c the grounds are beautiful...

The Taft Museum is an absolute beautiful place for a wedding. Kitty is a great on-site contact and so in-the-know with all the wedding vendors. I could not have asked for a better location or a better person to work with.

What a beautiful and unique venue for a wedding. If you are looking for a different and not so traditional wedding, this is the place. Your guests have the opportunity to tour the museum during your wedding, which is a great added touch to a cocktail hour. It's not a low cost venue, but a great value for your dollar.

The Taft Museum of Art was a beautiful location to host our reception at. Our guests had access to the museum and the gardens during the cocktail hour. There were plenty of great spots for pictures including the front steps of the house and the gardens. If you plan on hosting 200 guests, which is their limit, I recommend renting the extra tents on the side and back to give you plenty of dance floor space. I also recommend hiring someone to drape the tents with fabric to hide the ceiling and polls.

Also, it was recommended to me by several brides that had worked with the Taft Museum that I hire a wedding coordinator to work with and I am glad that I did so. The on-site coordinator did not have much time leading up to the wedding to work with us and on the evening of the wedding, I did not see her until the end of the night when she was asking me and my guests to leave. I was grateful to have another point of contact to resolve issues both leading up to the wedding and on the actual day.
