Stacy is Awesome !
I was going to have my best friend officiate our wedding. After talking to lots of people, I realized the officiant is one of the most important vendors you can hire.
I started looking and talked to quite a few people. Most were " this is what I do " and didn't seem real personal. My last call was to Stacy and we are so glad we did.
She wrote a ceremony and we reviewed it. She made the changes and it was perfect.
On our wedding day , she kept me relaxed and told us not to worry about our vows. Everything was great,
If you are looking for a professional officiant , Stacy is the one for you.

I was referred to Stacy on a Facebook group when, just 2 weeks before my wedding, both my officiant and back-up officiant fell through! I contacted her and she was beyond helpful and present.
Then a cousin proposed being our officiant and, since we really wanted family to do it, we thanked her and passed. One week later HE FELL THROUGH! Man, I was so embarrassed to call Stacy again, just one week before the wedding. But we did call her and I am so glad that we did.
Stacy rearranged her schedule for us to make it work. We had a GREAT phone call with her where we talked for probably an hour (I'm a talker, I'm sure you don't HAVE to talk that long, haha!) about everything from how we met to the embarrassing things we have done together drunkenly. It was such a fun phone call and at the end of it I knew she really understood our spirit.
She had the ceremony written in just a few days and sent it to us for approval, she came to rehearsal, on our wedding day she dressed to match our all-white/pastel wedding, and the ceremony was just the most magical --I cried through the WHOLE thing!
My entire wedding was gorgeous and, honestly, the happiest day of my life. So many people told me that my wedding was the most beautiful they had ever been to, and almost every one of them mentioned the ceremony and how much they loved the officiant.
We were so dumb to wait so long to get an officiant, but SO lucky it worked out absolutely perfectly and we got Stacy. I couldn't recommend her more! I had wanted family to officiate our marriage, and by the end, she was exactly that.
Thank you eternally, Stacy. -

When I had to cancel my venue and previous planner last minute (3 days prior to event) I freaked out. So lucky I found Lauren Nicole Ahart in Las Vegas!! She threw everything together in 2 days, was in constant contact with me, got us the perfect officiant, and made me so calm and comfortable!! I was happier with her 3 days of service than my 7 months of planning with other (not named) people. Lauren, thank you so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Highly recommend for an Awesome Las Vegas wedding!-

Absolutely fantastic! Stacy Everett wrote the ceremony and
Charles Shaw was our officiant and we received SO MANY compliments on his service. He was short and sweet and direct to the point, Stacy had requested a little bio about our life since we were renewing our vows, everything came out Perfect, perfect, perfect experience! -

Was a SURRISE WEDDING!!! Cinderella Day for the Bride , and Groom thought he was meeting her for Lunch! They had a civil service, and had no idea this was being planned to give then a Dress, a Makeover, an Escort, Flowers, and a Party! Awesome day for a Senior Couple who had been together for years... and deserved the Wedding to Remember! -

Stacy did a great job on our ceremony. We wanted a short ceremony and Stacy did such a good job of
talking about us without making it too long. We even had several compliments from our guests about
Stacy. We didn't find Stacy until just a little over two weeks before the ceremony but she was able to pull
together a very nice ceremony at the (almost) last minute. Thank You Stacy. -

We were very satisfied with Stacy Everette..she was very professional and punctual. We had to change our venue due to another venue not honoring their contract and she was very understanding and still committed to our wedding plans.. Thank you Stacy for being there for us all the way through.

We had a great experience working with Stacy at Sylver Weddings. She was very professional and attentive to our needs. She worked with us to create a wonderful customized wedding ceremony and many guests told us afterwards how beautiful it was. She helped us to brainstorm ideas for our family ceremony and we were pleased with the results. My husband and I highly recommend Sylver Weddings. -

Stacy did such a wonderful job as our officiant. She was prompt in responding to all emails and calls. She answered any questions and washed away any fears or doubts. On the day of our event and even at the rehearsal, Stacy went a step further than just being the officiant. She helped out by setting things up and by making sure I had everything else ready for the next day. She was a great help with my extra shy flower girl. She has excellent patience and took the time to explain things to anyone that had questions. On the day of my wedding, she helped make sure the groom did not see me. She made sure that I had everything I needed. She even checked to make sure I had drank water so I didn't pass out. She went beyond what I expected of an Officiant. I highly recommend her, I don't think I could've made it through my day without her. Thank you so much Stacy for all of your hard work, you made my wedding day a dream come true! -

My wedding was on a very short notice, I needed it in Spanish, and to top it off the venue was changed the very same day!!! But while I was running around like a chicken without a head and Stacy was very calm and patient to help keep me at ease...Reverend Liz, was such an amazing person to have at the wedding she truly went above and beyond, with all the craziness she was very professional and patient not to mention a really good heart It was more than what I expected. Thank you so much!

I highly recommend Sylver Weddings. Although we only contracted Stacy to work as our officiant, she went above and beyond her duties and helped us with so many other aspects of our wedding. From flowers, to cake tastings, to choosing a rental company, and any other question we threw her way, Stacy was a wealth of knowledge, not to mention being super friendly and warm! I should also mention that the ceremony she put together for us was amazing. There was not a dry eye in the house. She did such a great job! -

First of all I have to begin by saying there are no words for how truly AMAZING and invaluable Stacy was on our wedding day. We hired Stacy in October for officiant services, and were impressed with how affordable and professional she was from the first time we met her. It wasn't until about a week before our wedding after our original contracted DOC stopped returning all phone calls and emails that we hired Stacy with Sylver weddings for Coordination services. First off, she had a week to do over a months worth of work. My wedding was like my first born child, and it took a lot for me to "hand over the reigns" to someone else. I spent over a year planning every single detail of my wedding, and after spending just a few short hours with Stacy I knew our wedding was in good hands. As with any wedding things go wrong, and we had some catastrophes at our wedding, that if we had not hired Stacy I honestly have no idea how we would've made it through the day. Our cake stand was un-level and wouldn't hold our cake, bridesmaids were going rogue, our caterer contracted to have servers showed up solo to prepare and serve 150 guests..... on top of other issues. In every situation Stacy hopped in and handled things making them go as smooth as possible. Although at first I was bothered that our original DOC flaked, it was a blessing in disguise! No matter how organized, detail oriented, or a perfectionist you might be, on the day of your wedding you need someone else who can handle issues ( and there will be some that arise). HIRING STACY WITH SYLVER WEDDINGS WAS THE BEST DECISION WE MADE IN THE ENTIRE PLANNING PROCESS OF OUR WEDDING! Hire Stacy, I promise you it will be the best money you spend on your entire wedding, after all can you put a price tag on peace of mind on one of the biggest days of your life. -

Originally my wife and I hired Stacy at Sylver Weddings for there officiant services since they're rates are very affordable! But with our original wedding planner bailing , we decided to contact Sylver Weddings about Wedding Planning Services.
I don't think I can Truly explain in a review how invaluable Stacy was to us and without her services our wedding would have been a wreck.Taking into consideration the short notice Stacy had to work with, she did an fantastic job and was worth every penny .
Stacy knows what she's doing seems to have tons of experience and most importantly she's not afraid to take control and tell vendors what to do.Stacy took care if so many things that my Wife did not need to be involved with. Stacy was there to oversee the event and ensure things went as
Smooth as a Wedding can go.
Stacy's officant service at the ceremony was everything I could have hoped for and the order of events went as she planned.
Overall I would definitely recommend Sylver Weddings to any couple in need of Officiant services or Planning services.
Thanks again Stacy!

Thank you Stacy for really helping us with our wedding! You were there when I needed help with my attire and the decor. Any questions that I needed to ask, you were able to answer. My hair and makeup looked beautiful. On my wedding day, it was very nice to know that there was someone there to help my family with set up, take down, the food, and the overall running of the reception. You really got to know my simple and sweet style of how I do things and that was nice. Thanks again! -

Stacy did a great job. We have heard from many married couples that something always goes wrong with a wedding… flower girl flips out, wrong flower delivery. We kept waiting for something to happen but it never did. It was an amazing wedding and I don't think I'd change anything. -

My wedding was Sylver's very first as officiant, so she had some nervousness to hurdle. She did a great job. After the wedding she got informed that there had been wedding crashers present and told me that had she known she would have taken care of it, as it was something I should not have had to worry about on MY day!! What a sweetheart.
She was otherwise helpful, professional, worked with me on the costs for her services, gave me advice on make up in her Mary Kay self, and was an overall joy. Her honest opinions about my dress, hair and make up were invaluable!! I recommend any and all of her services to any bride! -

Stacy has a spitfire personality and when we first corresponded, I knew we would get along well. She informed me she was a very "hands on" coordinator and she did not exaggerate. Stacy was literally on her hands and knees helping me with my train that unfortunately was ripped out of its bustle. Fear not, she would hand sew it on, pin it, anything to ensure I was comfortable in my dress.
Coordination wise, the day of went flawlessly; not that there weren't hiccups, but Stacy made sure our timeline went smoothly, even when we were a little behind d/t circumstances that were out of our control. I didn't want or need for anything and what makes it even better, I was able to ENJOY my wedding.
Please consider her when looking for a planner/coordinator. Stacy and her team are all sweethearts. -

Do not book stacy shaw to officiate your wedding!
After our wedding day we were so happy to just finally be married after a COVID postponement and done with all the planning and then we got a letter in the mail from the county clerk saying that they NEVER RECEIVED OUR MARRIAGE LICENSE!!!
I emailed her immediately asking her what happened - no response. I called my planner to see if she could reach out to her cuz I didn't have her phone number. She got Stacy on the phone and she said that she had responded to my email, had mailed the license in and it must have gotten lost in the mail but that she had scanned a copy, would pay for any fees for a replacement, and was going to confirm with the county clerk and get back to me.
A week passed and nothing - I send her more emails with no response. I finally get her on the phone and she said she's waiting for them to get back to her and will let me know in few days. Another week passes, I try calling her back and am sent straight to voicemail. I call the county clerk- they answer very quickly and tell me that they never got my license and that our deadline is in two days. They tell me the process for a lost license is actually pretty easy- I just need the witnesses and the officiant to sign off on the new one and pay the $25 fee! I've been desperately trying to get in touch with Stacy for the past week and she's just blatantly ignoring me at this point. She's blocked my number and I'm pretty sure she's a pathological liar. No idea why she can't just help fix this MASSIVE problem she created, especially when its such an easy fix.
We're extremely saddened by this situation and so angry that we paid her almost $500 for essentially, nothing. We're having to make an appointment to get get remarried at the courthouse.

Think twice before hiring Stacy
I hired Stacy to do weekend-of coordination for my insane-over-the-top-weekend-long-burning-man-style wedding in May of 2019. It was three days of craziness at a summer camp in the San Bernardino national forest, and it the event was guaranteed to challenge any planner’s abilities – but Stacy assured me she could handle it. Turns out she couldn’t.
All throughout the planning process, Stacy was incredibly hard to reach and painfully slow about returning my communications. She’d promised to be available to help me evaluate vendor contracts (read them through for me and let me know if I should be concerned about any clauses), help me negotiate my arrangements with the venue, basic stuff like that – but I would often have to chase her down with a half-dozen texts and emails and a lot of stress before she would respond. And each time, she had some excuse about how her power had gone out or her cell phone wasn’t working or her internet was down or something equally inane. I’m sorry – but if you’re in a profession that is driven by communication as wedding planning, you need reliable technology rather than excuses.
Our division of labor was that I would plan the wedding (I’m a professional organizer by trade), and she would step in starting a few weeks before to wrangle vendors and create a weekend-of plan – then from the moment we set foot at the venue, she would be in charge of making sure everything happened according to my plan. She was to handle the décor and set-up, managing meals and food throughout the weekend, keeping folks on schedule and making sure activities happened when they were supposed to. But unfortunately, she and her staff dropped the ball in nearly every arena all weekend long.
When I contracted with Stacy, she had promised me her services plus those of three assistants for the duration of the weekend – which in my mind, meant two actual grown people who did this kind of work professionally for a living. However, I only got one fully adult assistant – Stacy brought her two minor children to serve as the other assistants. (She also drug her husband along to help some during the set-up stage, but he left after that.)
First off, I let me say that her one for-realz employee John was FUCKING AMAZING! However, we were less than impressed with the rest of Stacy’s minions. These kids spent most of their time either goofing off until someone came and told them to do a task, whining about the amount of work, or fighting with mom (she and the daughter got into regular screaming fits with each other throughout the weekend, and there was one point when my DJ felt the need to step in and defend the son when Stacy was berating him – completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior). When we paid for three “assistants,” we did not expect two of those assistants to be minor children who were going to require insane amounts of babysitting and who argued with “the boss” every time you said anything to them. We expected three assistants of John’s caliber – folks who could work independently, who could problem-solve and figure out how to get a task done, who took initiative rather than sitting around waiting for instructions before tackling an already-on-the-timeline to-do – and who grasped that whole “ask the wedding coordinator, not the bride” concept (I can’t tell you the number of times one of Stacy’s kids bugged me about how to handle a problem, and I had to tell them “go ask your mother, that’s not my job this weekend”). Stacy’s children, while lovely people, have neither the maturity nor the training and professional demeanor required for this industry – and they were a completely inappropriate staffing choice for an event of this size and magnitude. Frankly, I felt that I should not have been charged full assistant price for either of them – as they did not perform full
assistant services.
There were also some pretty egregious regulatory violations committed by Stacy’s staff. At one point the first day, I caught two of her folks SMOKING on site when it had been made abundantly clear in every discussion, on our wedsite, and in the camp’s printed rules that this was a MASSIVE legal infringement (in a national forest in a state that has been catching fire every 15 minutes over the past couple of years) – this have gotten her entire staff kicked off the property for the weekend and landed us with a $10,000 fine from the national park service! I also witnessed her son handling bagels and rolls (and her daughter serving pizza to my guests) with their BARE HANDS! What if one of our guests got sick because her kids engaged in unsanitary food service practices?
There’s also the fact that all throughout the weekend, I kept finding jobs half-done or done in a very slipshod manner. Here’s the thing – I’m incredibly anal-retentive, and provided Stacy with DETAILED descriptions of what I wanted in terms of décor, food service, the activities to occur during each segment of the weekend. We also had several meetings beforehand to discuss the logistics, and Stacy even created a “timeline” translating my wishes into a plan of attack. (I put this in quotation marks because her plan was a total joke – the first draft not at all reflecting my priorities or the level of service she promised me, the final draft super sketchy and incomplete, and the whole thing delivered MUCH later than Stacy had promised in her initial pitch to get me to hire her.)
However, any planning was made irrelevant when much of my instruction and the vast majority of her “timeline” was disregarded the actual wedding weekend. I kept finding decorations I had provided which were never put out, reception food laid out according to specification, and my eyeball jello shots for our toast randomly sitting out for anyone to take along with the buffet food (what should have been a big “ta-da” reveal moment, the same as you would for a bride handing out champagne flutes, ended up being an “oh yeah, you might have already eaten some of these but now we’re using them for the toast” afterthought.) These might seem like minor details, but it’s details like this that made our wedding so epic – and it frustrated me mightily that Stacy considered them not important enough to worry about after I’d spent months planning all these details.
Oh, and did I mention that Stacy’s crew actually broke some of our décor, shoving it into her van? (We had a unity volcano that looked like us, and they snapped two of the point off with their mishandling.) Not cool.
Of course our biggest complaint for the weekend was how much of our time we had to devote to doing Stacy’s job. When we hired her, we were told that we just needed to show up with a smile and a costume and enjoy the weekend – she’d take care of everything else. Instead, we had to devote half the day Friday to decorating the reception hall (when it was supposed to be done mid-afternoon and by 3PM it was maybe a quarter finished and no one was taking any steps to get it completed), a big chunk of Saturday morning to setting up the ceremony site (when it was also not done and there was no activity in that direction even after breakfast ended), and a large part of Sunday morning helping break down/pack up. Not only did this add to our stress and exhaustion, but we also had to push our photo session much later than we wanted, and kept us from taking as many pictures as we would have liked. We were also not happy about the fact that so many of our guests HAD to pitch in and help to get everything done. Our friends assisting should have just been gravy on top of your staff’s efforts – instead, it turned out that their manual labor was NECESSARY to get the basic job done. Unacceptable.
And yes it was a big job, far beyond what is required for a normal wedding – but Stacy knew that from the very start. We’d always been incredibly forthright about the scale of this event, she saw the layout and size of the campground way back months and months before at our first walk-through, and she saw the level of detail I included in my wedding plan. Stacy assured us that she could accomplish what I wanted in the available time with only 4 staff members. I even said to her (multiple times) that if this wasn’t enough staff, let me know and we’d be fine with more people – I feel like Stacy seriously
underestimated what it would take to accomplish this wedding, and we are the ones who paid the price.
We also feel like Stacy’s “coordinating” of events was not in line with what she assured us of when we contracted with her. She told us that a big part of what you do is “manage” the timeline of events – but yet we (and our friends and our photographer) ended up doing a great deal of the work in that arena. As a bride, I shouldn’t have to come ASK my coordinator what the procedure is for getting me down the aisle – that should have been something she prepped me on well before the actual ceremony. (Stacy didn’t.) I shouldn’t have to tell my coordinator that she was sending the flower girl and ring bearer down the aisle to the wrong music (which Stacy did) – she should be so familiar with our ceremony that she knows exactly what’s happening at each point along the way. (Stacy was barely present for our rehearsal – screwing around on her phone and not paying attention while I led the run-through.) I shouldn’t have to tell my reception emcee “Hey, we’re supposed to do the cake pops and toast” or “Hey we’re supposed to have a garter/bouquet toss” followed by “but Stacy hasn’t said anything to me about how that’s going to work and I don’t see her setting anything up, so can you please go find out?” My guests shouldn’t have to storm the kitchen to get cream for their breakfast coffee because her crew never put it out. And I most assuredly shouldn’t have to ask you why our officiant wasn’t instructed to sign the marriage license after the ceremony – these are all BIG parts of Stacy’s job description as wedding coordinator that just didn’t happen.
But the best part came late in the reception evening when I found out that Stacy had thrown away $800-$1000 worth of catering food, not only without either Ben’s or my permission, but in direct contradiction of my verbal and written instructions. At a wedding where I’ve told my wedding coordinator that I want to take any uneaten food home (and where we’ve got “zero-muthaflippin’ food waste” signs everywhere), she made an executive decision to toss the leftovers WITHOUT EVER
SPEAKING TO ME ABOUT IT. Her justification when I confronted her about this of “we weren’t going to have access to the kitchen after 7AM” was nowhere near acceptable – if she’d come to me and told me that beforehand, I would have said that I would be happy to get up at 7 and get the food out of the fridge myself. And Ben confided that Stacy asked him about throwing away the food and he told her specifically not to. As far as we’re concerned, that’s the equivalent of destroying our personal property.
This was not (as I was promised) an event where I was free to have fun and not worry about the details – rather than helping me to better enjoy the weekend, every interaction with Stacy’s staff (except for John) created more stress and anxiety. And both my photographer and DJ were SHOCKED at the level of unprofessionalism displayed by Stacy and her kids. (At one point Stacy asked my DJ what was happening next during the reception, the DJ showed Stacy her printed schedule of the weekend's events, and Stacy took a photo of it with her phone – the DJ isn't supposed to provide the wedding coordinator with this information, it's supposed to be the other way around!)
To add insult to injury, when I contacted Stacy about these concerns and asked for fair compensation for the thrown-out food, as well as the level of service that we were promised and did not receive (meaning the difference between what she charged for a full assistant and the current California minimum wage for the hours charged us for each of her children, as well as the hours charged us for her crew to be decorating, setting up the ceremony area, and breaking down the site that we and our friends spent doing their work for them) – Stacy did nothing. Her response was not “yeah, things didn’t go as I’d planned, but I want to make you happy” – it was “I’m sorry you feel that way, I need to speak to my attorney” and then nothing. Stacy made it incredibly clear to me that she gives not one crap about actual customer satisfaction or taking responsibility when something in her business goes sideways.
I didn’t want to have to leave this review – but Stacy has given me no choice. She forced me into filing a dispute with my credit card company, and she’s forced me into spreading the word about her questionable business practices. She’s a sweet person who I believe simply got in over her head and did not expect the weekend to go as it did – but she did nothing to remedy the situation, and that decision has destroyed her reputation with me. I no longer see Stacy as a solid, upstanding businessperson – and I don’t want to see someone else go through what I did with her. If you’re thinking about hiring her for your event, caveat emptor.

Day of Coordinator Stacy Shaw Review
I was referred to Stacy Shaw through LadyMarry, where I was able to select between 2 Wedding Day of Coordinators with only knowing their background and no names so I was unable to search reviews. I decided to go with Stacy because she said she had 5 years experience. Below are reasons why I have given her 1 star for my review:
1. She was late in sending my wedding timeline and said it was sent to the "incorrect e-mail". Once the timeline was approved by me and supposedly sent to my vendors, they unfortunately were not. My photographer, caterer and DJ had to e-mail requesting the timeline and Stacy said the "timeline apparently didn't go out correctly to most vendor's". I believe the timeline never went out in the first place as I never had issues with communicating with the vendors.
2. I was not reminded of any vendor payments leading me to be late in paying some of my vendors even though this was stated in my contract that Stacy would remind me. I had sent out every contract to Stacy at least 6-10 months prior to the wedding so she was aware of all of the dates.
3. During the day of the wedding I asked her to help light candles during cocktail hour, unfortunately once I was up there, none of the candles were lit. I made sure to ask that the candles during dinner were lit incase those were forgotten as well.
4. Before the wedding, I handed her all the menus and table numbers. I told my bridesmaid to check that all the table numbers were placed correctly before all the guests headed to dinner and NONE were placed, my bridesmaid had to remind Stacy. During dinner I noticed NO menu's were placed on each guests table setting, and I had to tell my bridesmaid to run and inform Stacy, and that's when she handed each guest a menu.
I would like to state that my wedding still went smoothly with the help of all my bridesmaids, but this review is to warn you that no bride would need to pay for these awful services. Despite my best efforts in trying to help coordinate, I was still disappointed because I feel like I could have done without a coordinator at all with these services i received. -

I got married October 18th of this year and stacy was my officiant. I did not have a good experience at all. She showed up to my venue about 40 min late claiming she had car trouble but she never even bothered to try and call and say she would be late. We called multiple times and literally a min before I was going to walk down the aisle she shows up. She didn't come well dressed and looked like she almost just fell out of bed. She forgot to include my sand ceremony so completely just skipped that part. Needless to say it was probably the worst part of my day. I got refunded some of the money not all of it. I was really unleaded with her services and I would never recommended her to anyone. -
