    We never realized how much work a DJ has to do on a wedding day and we really appreciated having someone as professional and responsible as Brian on our big day. Even when the speeches/toasts went a bit astray, you managed to move things along...I would also like to thank you for your confidence in me, the bride, to sing a song to my groom. It was just another beautiful moment that we will never forget.

    What I really liked about Brian is that he was always so understanding and listened to everything I had to say. He even checked in with me during the entire wedding to make sure everything was going smoothly. Thank you Brian, the wedding was so much fun at FHL!

    After our previous DJ dropped out 2 months before the wedding, I contacted our wedding planner to ask who she suggested. Brian was the first person she recommended. My husband and I got married at the Forest House Lodge and it went perfectly. Brian was very easy to get a hold of and gave excellent recommendations. I felt at ease the minute we signed our contract. He has done many weddings at the lodge and I understand why. At the wedding, he checked in on us and made sure that we were taken care of. He kept people on the dance floor and his song choice was perfection. He was always great at playing song requests too! I also appreciated what he did at the ceremony site. I have been to countless weddings where I could barely hear the couples vows/sound quality wasn't great. All of my guests said the ceremony was beautiful and that they could hear everything. I am so appreciative to Brian and will definitely recommend him to others.

    We hired Brian for our wedding at the Forest House Lodge and could not have been happier! A true professional, Brian made both us and our guests feel comfortable and at ease. During the preplanning process he was responsive, personable and easy to work with, fielding any and all of our questions and providing recommendations and perspective throughout. He was easy to schedule time to meet with or to communicate with by email or phone. The day of the wedding, he kept the party moving along. My husband and I teach west coast swing dancing locally, and therefore many of our guests were dancers. Additionally, we had a large family presence of non-dancers. We were looking for a DJ who could balance our diversely skilled crowed and Brian excelled. I literally cannot say enough good things. He is a master of his trade, and I'm still getting compliments from guests who attended. You cannot do better than this guy!

    Look no further, you have found your DJ! We had Brian for our wedding on 6/5/15 at the Forest House Lodge. We interviewed 4 DJs that The Forest House recommended and immediately clicked with Brian. He has done so many weddings at the Forest House that he knows the routine and knows the staff and keeps everything on track. Brian is very detail oriented and helped us pick the music, but also gave us complete freedom to do whatever we wanted. He even gave us suggestions on what food to pick for our wedding and helped us come up with a timeline and stick to it. He had two lapel microphones for the ceremony and a great set up for the reception. Some value added things that he did for us as part of the package: went sent him pictures from when we were kids to dating and he set up a screen and played a slideshow during the pre-ceremony appetizers. He also recorded our ceremony and speeches and gave us a copy after the wedding. We were so surprised and delighted that we can re-live those moments forever because of Brian. Our guests partied and danced the night away until about 1:30 and so many people commented on how great the music was. Brian also checked in with us several times throughout the night to make sure everything was okay and ask if we needed anything, Brian is the ultimate DJ, knows his job well, is so professional, and exceeded our expectations.

    Brian did an awesome job as our DJ this June at the Forest House Lodge. The venue recommended him based on his knowledge and experience leading weddings there. I was very particular with the music at the ceremony and wanted the music to line up perfectly as my friends and family walked down the aisle. I trusted Brian could pull it off and he did. He suggested a change to the song start that he felt would make the procession smoother and he was dead on. The ceremony was more perfect than I hoped for. He did a great job during the reception too. The reception timeline went great and he always treated my wife and I like we were the stars and was always asking if we needed anything. He is a very detailed oriented guy that sincerely cared that the our day turned out great...and it was perfect. highly recommended!

    Brian was the best DJ anyone could ever ask for. He was very professional and was very knowledgeable when it came to every aspect of our wedding. We used his services know that he has been a DJ at the Forest House Lodge for the past few years. He made us feel comfortable in our choices we made in music and made the night run smoothly. We were very pleased with his knowledge and we absolutely loved working with him. He made our wedding and the night memorable. I would recommend Brian any day to any one. Thank you again for being the best at what you do Brian!!!

    Awesome DJ!

    We met Brian at the Forest House Lodge during their vendor fair. He has DJ'd weddings there for ages and knew everything about the venue. He talked with us at length, offering great advice for our ceremony and reception, and he didn't care that we were taking up all his time and probably keeping him from other potential clients.

    We loved Brian's approach and attitude. He has a passion for his work that is rare and seemed to genuinely want us to have a great experience above all else. He did not put a limit on the amount of time he would be working (also rare). As long as there were people dancing, he kept playing music. He helped us get organized and pick good songs to use throughout the day. He worked with us to plan a sensitive family issue with the "official" dances. He worked in our requests and avoided our "no play" list. When we asked, he even helped us with food choices.

    We had a great experience with Brian and definitely recommend him (even more so for couples at FHL)!

    I used Brian as my DJ for my Forest House wedding. He is easy to work with and works hard for his clients. He knows the Forest House like the back of his hand. Brian is organized and makes sure that your ceremony and reception music is coordinated from the start to the finish. He even edited my song for the aisle so it fit my style. Brian will play songs as long as the party is going. When our party started to die he asked us if we wanted him to stay to a certain time and we released him. There is a reason why he is one the preferred vendor list. You can't go wrong with Brian at Swerve. He is a trustworthy and honest man. I'd book him again and again if/when I have parties that need entertainment.

    Brian was amazing!!! He was so helpful throughout the entire planning process!!! During the wedding ceremony and reception, he was phenomenal and made sure that everything went smoothly and on time. I definitely will recommend him to everyone I talk to!!!

    Brian is the best. I cannot say enough good things about him. My husband and I got married at the Forest House Lodge where Brian has done many weddings. He was so easy to work with. He met with us as many times are we wanted to discuss music, really listened to what we said, and made suggestions based on what we liked. We didn't know what we wanted for a few things and he sent us over his favorite tracks to chose from. That was super helpful. I also decided to dance the Merengue with my step dad as a "first dance" song. He didn't have the song I was looking for (a hard to find song, requested by my step dad), but worked hard to find it (and did!). We also wanted a unique song he didn't have for our bridal party and he was able to find that too! (His music selection is huge!) He was respectful of my must play and my do not play list. I was amazed at how he kept the whole dance floor full- from young to old. My family is very different than my fiancé's family and I was worried about keeping everyone dancing- well, Brian is a professional and he totally knows what he is doing. Brian was also our MC and did a great job. He kept the flow of the evening going well. I didn't want a "wedding DJ" because I didn't want the dance floor to be cheesy or typical. It wasn't at all. Brian did such a great job choosing music that was fun to dance to, while not staying in one genre for too long. He noticed who left the dance floor, and changed the music appropriately. Brian is the main reason I wasn't worried the day of my wedding. He knows how to forsee any issues and fix them without me knowing. He also works well with all the vendors and helped keep everyone on track and working as one big team. Brian made us feel like the most important Bride and Groom he's ever worked with. I really trusted his judgment and expertise. I honestly do not have one regret and would highly highly recommend Brian's work. Also- he's such a SUPER nice guy.

    We hired Brian Taylor as our DJ off our venue’s recommended vendor list. He had worked at the venue many, many times, so we didn’t have to work very much with him for our event to go smoothly. He was very helpful in answering questions and giving suggestions for lighting regarding what we would need or not need for our space. We had live musicians for our ceremony, and he provided amplification for them and for mic-ing our officiant and us. He stays as long as you need him (up to 10 hours), which I think our guests really appreciated when they wanted to dance late into the night. Brian played appropriate and non-cliched music, from what I remember hearing, at a good volume, and was discreet unless he needed to announce something, and dressed sharply. During the planning process, he asked for necessary things like how we wanted to be announced, our formal dance songs, intro song, cake-cutting song, etc., and otherwise we let him do his thing, which worked out fine and was nice to have one less thing to help coordinate. During the event he checked in with us to see if we needed anything, which was a nice touch. We worked with him from out of state, and it still went very smoothly. Brian definitely knew what he was doing and did a great job for a reasonable price, so I would definitely recommend him.

    Brian Taylor was great! He helped us mix two versions of songs together for our first dance and it was wonderful. He is very professional and really knows how to read the crowd. My guests loved him and I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing DJ services.

    Brian is awesome! Will not nickel and dime you like so many other DJ's. Brian was a great sounding Board for our ideas, and gave his input and advice but was happy with whatever we chose. We had a flashmob and he got their early for an extra rehearsal!!! Plus he created a dance through the ages mix for a dance contest we had. Above and beyond!!!! He also used our crossword puzzles we made for trivia to determine buffet table order. He was professional, fun, and a GREAT value! We reccomend him highly!!!

    My wife and I booked Brian for our wedding at the Forest House Lodge. Not only did we get a Dj for the night but we also got our own mini wedding planner. Since he has been one of their vendors for such a long time, he was able to give us amazing advice about FHL. Every piece of advice helped make our wedding the most memorable event in our lives. We didn’t realize how many different songs that you have to pick for a wedding. He helped us pick out our songs by giving us a huge list of tracks.
    He is always one to help. Two days before our wedding, he created a slide show of photos of us without charging us any extra!! He goes above and beyond and made sure the wedding flowed. The best part is he does the work because he loves it, and it really shows.

    Brain Taylor is the DJ for Swerve Ent. I wasn't too impressed. We got Brian's name off the preferred vendor list from our venue. Brian was on time and kept the night moving along, although at the end of the night he came and asked me for a check to finalize payment that had been taken care of more than 6 months prior, and he assured me that it hadn't been resolved. I felt as though he was possibly trying to take advantage of a busy bride (maybe hoping I had too much to drink, which was not the case) thinking that I would just cut a check as if I didn't know what was going on. I also heard from a relative after the fact that he (our guest) went and requested a change of music genre because no one was dancing. Brian changed the music and everyone started dancing...problem solved? Not quite, he then thought he would approach our quest and tell him that it was rude of him to request a song change and that he (Brian) knew how to do his job and even proceeded to threaten to have our relative thrown out. Completely out of line.

    Brian was the DJ for our wedding and we were very unhappy with our experience. We should have listened to the other brides and grooms that told us not to choose him. He took it upon himself to cut 1 minute and 30 seconds into the song that I walked down the aisle to, and he didn't even ask me if that was ok. I was informed by my wedding coordinator 30 seconds before I walked down the aisle. He also promised a video of our ceremony, which he has not followed through with and he has yet to return any of my emails.
