Working with the Swell team has been one of the most enjoyable parts of our wedding. If I could give 1 million stars, I would. They have been extremely easy to communicate with from start to finish. They honored any of our requests without any hesitation. They had both of our films back to us less than 3 months from our wedding. On our wedding day, they made us feel comfortable and at ease. The quality of the films is unmatched. They do the most beautiful job capturing the essence of the day. I will truly cherish the videos they created for us for a lifetime. They have given us the gift of being able to relive our amazing wedding day and that is something I will never be able to thank them enough for. Highly, highly, highly recommend anyone in need of a videographer to reach out to them. Thank you Swell! -

Swell Productions went above and beyond our expectations! From the early morning of our wedding day to the very end they captured every memorable moment throughout our entire wedding day. Chris & Logan dedicated extensive amounts of time and effort to produce this outstanding, perfect wedding video. My husband and I get to relive the most beautiful and unforgettable day of our entire lives because of them. Woooow! I cannot say enough amazing things about Swell Productions! They perfectly captured our day, communicated very well throughout the whole process from first email to executing the video. On top of that, they were extremely professional & so very nice! You can tell their heart & soul goes into every video they create & each video is unique to you & your day. I cannot recommend enough. If you’re still looking for a videographer, look no more!! You’d be crazy to pass up Swell Productions. You rock Chris!!! -

There is not enough room in this box to tell you how outstanding Swell Productions are! We came upon their company in an OBX wedding magazine. Each time we came upon a new vendor we would Google the company, review their work, and read client reviews. When we visited Swell Productions' website, we knew we had found our videographer. We couldn't believe how teary eyed we became watching strangers' wedding videos, but that is how good Chris is! He has an ability to truly create magic and we knew we had to have that. Working with Chris was so easy and comfortable. He was extremely responsive and asked us a lot of questions to make sure he understood what we were looking for on our big day. Fast forward to our trailer and our featurette... we have no words. We could watch this video a million times and still feel the emotions we felt the first time we watched. It is pure genius and we would hire him to capture every family event if it were socially acceptable to do so :) If you are looking for a videographer for your big day, stop here- you will regret nothing!!

Chris and his team at Swell are truly masters of their craft! Their attention to detail, artistic style, cinematography, and overall vibe are second to none. They couldn't be easier and more fun to work with, and their finished product is simply better than everything else we saw our there, and we did extensive research because we wanted a video we could watch forever and cherish.
We recognize that they are slightly more expensive than some of their competitors, but it is so worth it. If you are going to invest a little more on some aspect of the wedding, this is one thing that is totally worth it. You will not regret it. Just watch a couple of their videos and you can see for yourself. They are a must for any wedding in the area! By the end of the experience they felt more like friends than hired professionals, and we just can't thank them enough!

Wow! Chris and his team are absolutely AMAZING. Chris genuinely cares to get to know each couple so that he can do his best to create a video unique to them and their relationship. His communication was amazing throughout the entire process. He was on time and SO positive. He brought amazing energy to our wedding day. We received the video well within the timeframe he told us and then we proceeded to watch it 100x over the next 24 hours while we laughed and cried all over again. We are forever grateful for this team and their attention to detail. They are true masters of their craft. These guys are one in a million and we are so happy we found them to shoot our day. The day we decided to have our wedding in the Outer Banks I stumbled upon Swell Productions and knew I needed them for our wedding. I spent hours watching their work and was beyond impressed. I was fully prepared to move our wedding date, if needed, just so they could be a part of it. Hands down the best investment we made for the wedding, I have watched our cinematic short probably over 200 times and probably will watch it another 200 more! Chris is so talented and you will NOT be disappointed! -

We were planning our OBX wedding from afar and scouring the internet for a videographer. We came across Swell's work and it was a no-brainer. The sleek and personal style of the films; I found myself in tears and very touched by watching some of their posted wedding videos--even though I didn't know the couples! 2020 was an interesting year to have a wedding, but despite that Chris and co. we're super flexible and responsive when we finally decided to postpone and reschedule. Fast forward to day of and the team made it comfortable and fun. They were familiar with our venue, planner, and photographer so everything went smoothly! Our final videos were beautiful. We are so grateful and would recommend Swell a thousand times! -

Chris and Chris are amazing videographers! As a broadcast journalist, I shoot video everyday for my job, so hiring a skilled videographer was important to me. Chris and Chris don't just capture posed moments, but rather, they go above and beyond to catch the little moments on your wedding day. I cannot begin to put into words how incredible Chris and the guys at Swell Weddings truly are but I will start by saying it was by far the best investment we made for our wedding and probably one of the best investments we will ever make! Everyone tells you that your wedding day will go by quickly but you don't really understand it until the day comes and goes. There are so many moments I barely remember and they captured it all, in the most beautiful and artistic way ever possible! Thanks to Swell we will have this day for the rest of our lives and I watch the short film almost daily! We are so thankful and blessed by this gift and almost opted out of hiring a videographer. Advice for future brides and grooms, DO IT, it will be the best decision and one you wont regret! I miss wedding planning, the details, all the sentimental touches and all the hard work you put into one day...well, I can say, I at least have the memories through our video. I cannot wait to see what the full version has in store for us! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Swell Weddings...you completely outdid yourself! ❤ -

This is the videographer you need to hire. They were extremely responsive and so easy to work with, and their videos speak for themselves. The end result for our short film left me speechless, and it was the perfect way to share our wedding with loved ones that couldn't make it. The feature film had all of the important aspects of our wedding while still having an artistic feel. Loved having them, and I highly recommend! -

We asked for a wedding video and what we got was so, so much more. The video short we were sent was a cinematic piece of art, one that my now husband and I will hold close to our hearts for the rest of our lives. Swell captured the essence and the unique magic of our day, I can even feel the breeze in my hair and the temperature of the Gardens again just watching it. It’s something no other medium can produce and no other vendor will be able to give you - your favorite day on earth captured in the most beautiful and real way. Chris thank you again from the bottom of our hearts - you guys are going places with all this talent and we are humbled to have worked with you!! -

This review is long overdue! I didn't want a photographer, I wanted to be able to look back at a video to see what I knew I would never remember. Your day is so overwhelming and the guys at Swell were amazing! The video is so beautiful + not intrusive or in your face. They blend in + just capture all of it and make it beautiful. i will always recommend a videographer over a photographer. luckily i had my bridesmaid who does photography take a few photos here + there which are nice to have as well :) Videographers are worth every bit of the price tag + the guys at Swell are worth more!! Thanks y'all! I added stills from their videos since I can't attach a video -
