We couldn’t be happier with Shawn and his second videographer! They were not only incredibly skilled at what they do, but they were also fun to be around. Their professionalism and organization made everything run smoothly, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our day.
The wedding videos came out tremendous, showcasing all the special moments, including family, snippets from the full mass, speeches, and the significance of our DC location. The main video captured raw, genuine moments while highlighting the elegant and glam aspects of our big day. The speeches were woven throughout the video, almost like a narration of the day, beautifully tying everything together and centering around love. It was very heartfelt! When we watched it for the first time, we both had tears in our eyes! Shawn also ensured that all the fun parts were included, resulting in a final product that truly reflects our celebration.

I debated getting a wedding videographer because while every video I've seen is lovely, I just didn't love them for me. Enter Shawn! He is a MASTER at understanding the personality and energy of the couple, and creating something completely unique. I've never seen a wedding video like ours, and I absolutely loved it. Shawn is such a nice person, very accommodating, and an expert at this. After looking at sooo many videographers product, I can say with certainty Shawn is the BEST choice. -

Shawn was the videographer at my sister’s wedding a few years before mine and after we got engaged, he was the first vendor I wanted to book. I was obsessed with my sister’s video but I did my due diligence and considered other videographers. As I looked at other videographers, what I found that made Shawn stand out the most was that he utilized the voice over of the wedding (the vows, speeches etc) rather than just background music with video images. This allows you to truly re-experience your wedding in a manner totally different than looking over your photos. If you are not sure if you should book a videographer, I could not recommend it more! There were many moments featured on video that I had forgotten ever happened or weren’t captured by the photographers, and I was so appreciative to have them all recorded. Shawn and Kacie did an amazing job the day of, capturing everything that I had hoped for and created a video that I truly cherish. When people ask about our wedding, the best way to describe it is by showing them our video as it really encapsulates the feeling of the entire day and I could not be more grateful to Shawn and Kacie for doing such an amazing job! -

Where do I begin?! Working with Shawn has been a great experience. He was very kind and considerate, given the current circumstances. On our wedding day, he made sure we got the shots I had in mind (sun glares for golden hour, drone shots, etc.). When we got the highlight video, I was speechless. Every time I watch it, I cry! Shawn truly made our wedding video make everyone feel like they were at the wedding or reliving it! We are forever grateful for this keepsake. I look forward to sharing it with everyone I know and for future generations to come.

All I can say is wow! Shawn was amazing to work with! He took the time to learn about our love story, our day, and all the special details and this was perfectly captured in our video. He is so creative! He went above and beyond and even got footage of Arundel Mills Mall (where we first met). I can't recommend him enough! Every time I watch the highlight video, I cry from joy and happiness. The day was captured perfectly! Shawn and Tony were so easy and fun to work with! I barely even noticed the cameras around us! You will not regret hiring him!! Shawn, thank you again!! I am so glad we have this to remember the best day ever!! -

Shawn was recommended to my now wife and I after our original plans for a Colorado-based wedding were scrapped due to Covid-19. He was kind and curious about our story during the initial consultation, as well as undaunted by the rushed timeline and demands of shooting during a pandemic. When the big day came, Shawn and his wife felt like guests at our wedding, not some random people with cameras. A few days later, Shawn shared the highlight reel; I was blown away. It was like a movie trailer of our wedding. The quality, from the footage to the edits to the score, was like a Hollywood production. One that has never failed to bring tears to my eyes (and I've watched it a couple dozen times by now). I am so, so glad we had Shawn and his wife there to capture our day. -

Shawn was absolutely amazing to work with. He took 5 hours of footage and turned it into a 7 minute video that captures our special day perfectly. His creative eye and technique is something you don't find everyday. HIGHLY recommend. -

Swehland Productions, Shawn Wehland and team filmed my husband and I's wedding day from beginning to end and top to bottom. Literally. Shawn filmed our venue with a drone, each of us getting ready with the bridal party and groomsmen, and all our precious moments throughout the entire day and night. It was everything we could have asked for. We actually found Swehland Productions as a recommendation from my groom's cousin's wedding. After seeing his work from there, we were sold. Unlike some of our other videographer options, Shawn caught the most important parts of the wedding event. It wasn't a soap opera feeling drama but truly reliving the day with the people who meant the most and their precious smiles, laughs, tears, and moments. I cannot recommend this company high enough. Shawn made us a 60 second video, 5 minute video, and our raw footage. I will cherish these keepsakes from our wedding day forever. I'll let his work speak for itself.
