The Riverview at Sweetwater is an absolute dream and truly a hidden gem! From the moment I stepped onto the property, I knew this was where I wanted to say “I do.” The water views are breathtaking, the food was out of this world, and the sunset was 🙌🏼🙌🏼, the perfect backdrop to the most incredible day.

Chris is nothing short of extraordinary, he is the heart and soul of the venue. His eye for detail, his professionalism, and the way he genuinely cares about your wedding as if it were his own sets Sweetwater apart from anywhere else. He made us feel supported every step of the way and ensured that every moment was flawless.

We also booked the bungalows and bridal house, and they were perfect for our family and bridal party- spacious, beautiful, and so convenient. It made the entire wedding weekend even more special.

Our guests are still raving about everything, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have celebrated the best day of our lives at Sweetwater. If you’re lucky enough to work with this team, you’ll be blown away just like we were.

Chris is soo great at his job and the venue is beautiful. Chris is really great at his job he knows how to do his job and will go out of his way to make your big day extra special. He is always there to answer a phone call and or text. He does everything and knows answers to all the questions you could have. The day of he was great made sure my husband and I ate brought us drinks and was even bussing tables.

I got married at Sweetwater this past October and it was absolutely amazing. We came in with a completely different idea than how previous weddings were done and Chris helped with every step of the way to ensure our day was perfect. We had a much bigger wedding count than usual at 225, so he worked with us to be able to do an outdoor ceremony rain or shine, the cocktail hour taking up the entire indoor banquet area/deck and a tented reception on the turf. Every idea/item I had for decor was used as planned and he made sure every question was answered with a yes or way to try to make it happen. The day of turned out to have some torrential downpours prior to us arriving and the staff worked tirelessly throughout the entire day to continue to flush out water from tents and keep everything as dry as they could - they truly went above and beyond. Throughout the day and evening, Chris and Lisa were there for anything and everything we needed. They made sure we were taken care of, fed, happy with everything and then stayed after to clean everything up and make sure we were taken care of at our after party. As for food - we had a buffet and the food was phenomenal, our guests still talk about it! The entire staff was friendly, helpful and gave us absolutely nothing to worry about. I could not recommend Sweetwater enough!

The love in the air was palpable on our wedding day and it was made even better by our experience at the Riverview at Sweetwater. From the planning all the way up to the partying, the smoothness of our process kept our minds at ease and made for an unforgettable day. The event staff epitomized professional service. The food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. The views, especially the sunset over the river, were breathtaking. We are so incredibly pleased with our experience and so grateful to the staff for making our day so special!

Should've written this review sooner. I don't have enough good words to say about this place. First off Chris and Lisa were AMAZING. When we first booked, we had a different wedding coordinator that ended up quitting with not a lot of time left. Those two stepped up and made everything 10000x better. Everything we asked for they accommodated. We were their first big wedding they had outside so we expected a few bumps and bruises and there really weren't any. The food was incredible and they worked with us to create a unique menu that people would remember and isn't just your typical run of the mill wedding food. Weather was a little chillier than expected and without even asking they were wheeling out heat lamps. As soon as the ceremony was over they had drinks for us. We got to our sweetheart table and same thing plus extra plates of the stuff we missed during cocktail hour. It didn't matter what it was they thought of everything extra and it was because of Chris and Lisa that everything turned out as great as it did. The venue is so versatile that they can mold everything into the exact vibe you're looking for. The place is beautiful, the prices are reasonable, and the service is amazing. Pick them. You won't regret it.

Absolutely fantastic from beginning til end. Chris made sure everyone was taken care of from the minute we arrived. The ceremony on the water was so pretty. Cocktail hour was amazing. Lots of food and drinks served constantly. The reception was fabulous food was delicious.

Sweetwater was the first venue we toured. Though it was still under construction, they made sure they gave us a clear vision of what our special day would look like. We marked a date the day of touring, and booked shortly after that! Seeing the room finished we knew we picked the perfect venue! Throughout the planning process, everyone we worked with was caring and fun. I was contacted on serval occasions weeks before the wedding ensuring that they had everything lined up perfectly. Our wedding was amazing. They offer a bridal sweet to get ready in. The ceremony was on the River, cocktail hour was up on the balcony over looking the river. The views were just so stunning. Kimmy, Britt and Heather ensured the reception room was decorated so perfect, and that the entire day ran smooth. The food for both cocktail hour, and the plated dinners were delicious! We had 115 people and had plenty of room to dance! Guests had access to the balcony all night which had comfy couches and heaters. We had fireworks that went off on the river! We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding. I happy cried the entire night. If you are looking for a venue that offers gorgeous views and is extremely fun, please look at Sweetwater! All of the employees made us feel like family. Other venues we toured we felt like they were wedding factories and all they wanted was your money. Sweetwater felt so private and personal. Each and everyone of our guests raved about how great our wedding was. The pictures came out so amazing. Thank you to the entire Sweetwater family for making our day so incredible.

My husband and I could not have asked for a better venue. Sweetwater is exactly what I was looking for and always what I pictured when I thought about our wedding day. Not only was it beautiful, everyone who worked with us was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. Everyone was friendly and really made us feel like they cared about us and making our day perfect, which it was. So thankful to have had such a beautiful wedding and experience at Sweetwater!

Sweetwater Casino is the most amazing place for a brind to have her reception. Cathy will work with you on everything to make sure that your day is special. the banquet room at Sweetwater Casino can hold up to 120 people but there is alot a large patio where a tent can be set up to hold more people. If you are looking for a great place to hold your wedding reception then Sweetwater Casino is the place.....RIGHT ON THE MULLICA RIVER!!!

My wedding at sweetwater was absolutely perfect. Chris and his team were amazing. We had 150 guest and I was fearful throughout all the planning that the space was small but it worked out perfectly and it did not feel crowded at all. Being able to utilize the outdoor deck was also an amazing bonus and helped with the space as many of the guest mingled on the deck throughout the wedding. It did rain during cocktail hour but only for a little and the workers were quick to dry off the deck and open up the space as soon as they could and we just utilized the reception room during the rain. The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone still is raving about it. Chris was attentive the day of to all of our needs. He’s also a work horse and is right in there with the rest of his team to make sure everything is getting done. Many of our guest comment how impressive he was passing out dinners, cleaning up and making sure things were taken care of, they were very impressed with the attentiveness. He continued to check on us throughout the day, making sure we were fed and had drinks. He kept an eye on the weather and made sure we got our ceremony in before the rain and boy did he nail the timing perfectly. Cannot say enough good things about him or the venue as a whole. We had the absolute best wedding and I wish I could re-live the day over and over.
