  Raegan is the best, ever! I have tried a lot of wedding cakes in my life and she hands down makes the absolute best. My husband told me that if we didn't have her cupcakes at our wedding, he wouldn't be there! I have known Raegan for a long time, personally, and she has made cakes and favors for my birthdays, graduations, and everything in between. It was natural to have her make my wedding cake, cupcakes, and favors as well. She did not disappoint and had the absolute best flavors of cupcakes. Her icing on both the cake and cupcakes is to die for! All of my guests were raving about the cake and cupcakes for weeks to come! If you are in the market for a cake or favors, look no further, Raegan will take care of you!

  I worked with Reagan before to provide cakes and cupcakes for other family events. I knew she would be my dessert go to person for my wedding. She listened to all of my ideas and were able to bring them to life. She provided a cake topper, variety of cupcakes, and cheesecake truffles. Everything looked beautiful and tasted great. She was even able to pick up the Krispy Kreme doughnuts that I had to have on my dessert table.

  Reagan was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! From our first meeting with her, she was professional and attentive. She worked well with us and made sure to keep us the focus despite having an overbearing family member at the meeting who found every opportunity to talk about how SHE thought things should go. Reagan was very personable and clearly knows her craft. We knew from that first meeting that we HAD to work with her. Her cupcakes were amazing which also didn't hurt.
  
  During our walk through 30 days prior to our wedding taking place, Reagan reassured me that things would go well and that the nervousness I was feeling (from planning a wedding in DC from Kansas) was normal, but totally not necessary. She was right! Everything went exceptionally well! From beginning to the end Reagan did an amazing job. She took care of all the little details that we as the bride and groom just didn't have time to be concerned with. She was the ONLY person who brought us water and snacks during our photographs being taken (which by the way took place in about 90 degree weather!). She coordinated with the DJ and the caterer to make sure tasks were not only completed, but completed correctly and in a timely manner. From every detail of the ceremony and reception, Reagan made our day worth ALL of the stress that a bride and groom will undoubtedly go through during the planning stages.
  
  Her bouquets were so beautiful that I took mine with me the following day all the way to Hawaii and seriously considered bringing it back home with us a week later...The fact that the flowers had withered by that point didn't compare to the beautiful way it was put together. And her cake.....OMG what an amazing cake! I couldn't have imagined a more elaborate and extraordinary cake.
  
  There isn't one thing that I can say in terms of needing to improve. Reagan is simply AMAZING at what she does. If you are a bride in the DC area, she's the one you need to know!

  Reagan did a beautiful job with my flowers, cake, and centerpieces. Her designs were very modern and the price was reasonable. She listened to everything I wanted and worked with me on the price. Also, her cake was delicious!

  I have no complaints! Regan did a great job. She was really easy to work with. I told her what I had in mind, and that was it! The day of the wedding my cake was perfect. It was actually such a breeze in the wedding planning process! Thanks!

  Reagan and the whole sweets ans soires team was amazing!!! They made our entire day so easy and i was so blessed to have them!! Our flowers and table decorations where amazing and just what i had asked for. The cake was so yummy and beautiful we also used her for my bridal shower cake and for the rehersal dinner cupcakes!! I have never had cake so yummy in my life it was the best. The other thing I loved about Reagan was that she was always there when i needed her and she really cares about the people she is planning for. She made our day perfect kept everything moving along and was so professional. You can tell she has alot of experience and is such an amazing person!! menstruation

  Our cake was wonderful! It was exactly how we had invisioned it with Regean and she was very open to our ideas. I tasted delicious, and we recieved tons of compliments on how beautiful it was and it tasted :)

  Reagan was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made a stunning cake, which was EXACTLY the same as the photo we showed her of a cake we liked. The flowers also were exactly what we wanted and were beautiful.Her prices are very affordable too. I highly recommend working with Sweets & Soirees!

  Raegan was amazing! She really helped me pull my wedding together. We had a package that included her as our cake baker, flower arranger, and for day-of-coordination. The day-of coordination was so much more. She answered all my questions and helped me with the planning of the ceremony and reception as well as provided really great vendor suggestions, which were always well priced. She did so much more as a coordinator than what was included in our package. The flowers she did were exactly what we asked for and were beautiful! The best part though, was the cake. My husband and I don't really like cake that much, but opted to go with cupcakes so we could have carrot cake. She also made us vanilla cupcakes with a buttercream frosting. Everyone was RAVING about them at the reception and I still am hearing about them today when anyone talks about our wedding. I cannot reccomend her enough!

  Raegan helped me every step of the way, from finding and locking in vendors to last minute problems. Being very picky about what I want and not willing to spend a lot of money to get it, Raegan went out of her way to help me with both.
  
  The wedding this past weekend (May 31, 2009) had only 4 mini disasters that I can think of. Of those disasters that Raegan could help me fix, she did everything she could so I wouldn't have to waste my time worrying/stressing about it. Having Raegan there on my wedding day ensured that I stayed cool, calm, and collected. I enjoyed every minute of my wedding.
  
  As for the reception, Raegan and her assistant fixed the plates of my husband and I at the reception so that we could actually eat our food. After we ate, Raegan kept the party running smoothly as she kept the timeline of events going while my husband and I enjoyed ourselves on the dance floor with our guests!
  
  And the cake was absolutely amazing. Raegan was able to give me the design that I wanted on my cake and even make vegan cupcakes for my parents. :)

  I HIGHLY recommend this vendor. Raegan is awesome. She hung with me through SEVERAL changes of mind about the design of our cake. In the end when I became flustered and decided to leave it up to her, by just giving her our wedding colors and the theme she came up with the perfect design that matched our decor to a T. Not only did she do this, but because she is a planner she also calmed my nerves and counseled me when things were not working out with the planner that I hired.   I HIGHLY recommend this vendor. Raegan is awesome. She hung with me through SEVERAL changes of mind about the design of our cake. In the end when I became flustered and decided to leave it up to her, by just giving her our wedding colors and the theme she came up with the perfect design that matched our decor to a T. Not only did she do this, but because she is a planner she also calmed my nerves and counseled me when things were not working out with the planner that I hired. And our cake was the most delicious cake that I have ever tasted!! I can't wait to thaw out our top layer.   I had the great pleasure to sample a cake from Sweets and Soirees prior to hiring Reagan to make my wedding cake. The cake was the most heavenly and scrumptious desert that I had ever had. I knew instantly that I wanted her to bake my cake. There was one problem. Sweets and Soirees is located in Richmond, VA and I was getting married two hours away in Upper Marlboro, MD. So I mustard up the nerve to asked Reagan if she would make my cake. She agree! I was extremely pleased. Reagan was very accessible to me inspite of the distance. And she was able to keep the price of my wedding cake at an affordable price for us. After my wedding, my sister called me and asked if I had any cake left. She stated that she had woke up at 3:00 am craving the cake. Unfortunately, there was no cake left. But I told her she needed to visit Sweets and Soirees herself since she lives in Richmond, VA. I suggest that anyone reading this review do the same. Reagan's cakes are DIVINE!

  I would like to start off by saying that I am a very detail oriented, Type A personality, “gotta be my way” person. I made several changes to my wedding before I contacted Sweets & Soirees. I changed my wedding venue from Jamaica to VA and then changed the date (due to the location change). I had everything documented and in order...next on my list was to hire someone to do my cake. My strategy was interviews.
  
  I met with Raegan Gibson, owner of Sweets & Soirees for a cake tasting. She immediately impressed me with her professionalism and organization (customer service is top priority for me) I knew I was going to sign a contract with her as soon as I tried a sample cup cake....and I don’t have a sweet tooth. I immediately decided to go with Sweets and Soirees to design my wedding cake. Another, task marked complete on my list.
  
  I learned that Sweets and Soirees was a full event planning service after I consulted with Raegan a few times regarding cake style, design, etc. The next task that I had to fill was day of coordination and rehearsal coordination. It didn’t take long for me to choose Sweets & Soirees for this service either. So that was another item that I marked “complete” on my "planned list. I felt that I had everything under control. However, the closer the date approached the more behind I began to fall with my tasks (that were “planned”). So I reached out to Raegan for more services... RSVP service and planning.
  
  I felt like I had a clone. I knew that she would be professional and handle my issues with top priority. The turn around time for various tasks was quick! Procrastination is NOT in her vocabulary. Raegan went above and beyond to ensure my wedding day was perfect. Most of all she prevented me from turning into a BRIDEZILLA and she was there to mediate the "almost BRIDEZILLA" moments.
  
  So if you want to handle less, minimize stress, and not turn into a mess…Select Sweets & Soirees to plan your next event!!

Everyone complimented the moist texture of the cake and the amazingly fragrant and fresh taste of the coconut and pineapple. She worked hard to give us exactly what we wanted and expected from the first tasting to the delivery and set up. All for less than all the other bakeries in Richmond! I would recommend Sweets and Soiree's to anyone!
