My wife and I were just married last month and Nicole was everything we could’ve asked for in an officiant and then some. She was simply spectacular!!! OMG, where do I begin? Nicole was AWESOME! Nicole married my daughter and son-in-law on Sept 16, 2023. She arrived for the rehearsal on time, and was so polite and calming which is what I needed because some members of the wedding party were stuck in traffic. My niece and I were all prepared to organize the people and run the rehearsal but Nicole did it! I didn’t know that she was handling this piece and her experience was clearly evident so we stepped back and let her do it. What I wonderful bonus this was! She was so awesome and everyone left knowing what to do and feeling confident. On the day of the wedding, she was so calm, got us all in order and led the way. Her words were so inspiring, touching and so fitting for the occasion. The wedding was so awesome and everyone is still talking about how great she was and great the wedding was. As a mom, I feel so proud because I had been planning the wedding for a year. Working with Nicole was the cherry on top! If you work with Nicole, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful words for a beautiful wedding
Nicole was wonderful and her words was grace. Prior to my wedding day she sent me the vows and I cried just by reading them to myself. On my wedding day, she capture me and my view husband heart with her words. Our attendees was in all with the vows Nicole spoked and she even had them participate in our special moment.

We had the BEST experience working with Nicole through the entire process planning our intimate ceremony for 12/6/20. Nicole was friendly, warm, very efficient and professional. She was patient, responsive, and knowledgeable, she made suggestions that were helpful in making our ceremony beautiful. My (now) husband contacted Nicole in December 2018 for our August 2019 wedding. We met both her and her husband, Dushawn, one evening and knew right away that we wanted Nicole as our wedding officiant. We kept in contact over the months and by the time the wedding got closer, she shared the ceremony with us and made sure we approved. They make an excellent team and their ceremonies are catered to your particular situation. Many of the guests at my wedding asked if we knew Nicole personally because of the words and how she delivered the ceremony. You can get advice, words of wisdom, and also laugh with both of them; very professional and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them to be apart of your special day! DuShawn was our wedding officiant for our June 8 wedding and he was fantastic. He expertly crafted a semi-religious ceremony that was perfect for my very religious family and my husband's not so religious family. Both he and Nicole attended our rehearsal and ceremony. The rehearsal was the first time we had met them, and they were both so friendly and we felt extremely comfortable. Nicole gave us a lot of pointers for during the ceremony to ensure that it was the perfect experience. I so appreciated DuShawn and Nicole being there for our special day!

From the moment I spoke with Nicole at Sweetheart Weddings via the telephone, I thanked God for placing her into our life. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our original officiant informed us 30 days before our wedding that she would be unable to officiate our wedding. I sent a frantic email to Nicole at Sweetheart Weddings in the late evening to see if she would be able to officiate our wedding with very little notice. Nicole responded immediately informing us she would be able to officiate with no problem. Nicole reassured me not to worry and that everything would be fine. Our wedding ceremony took place on November 3, 2018 and my husband and I were so blessed and grateful to have Nicole officiate our ceremony. All of the guests (120) who attended the ceremony raved about Nicole and how the ceremony was so BEAUTIFUL. Nicole at Sweetheart Weddings is the BEST!!

Nicole was the perfect choice for our wedding. Our original officiant fell through but Sweetheart Wedding Vows turned into a better option. She remained calm throughout the craziness and everyone knows wrangling friends and family during the planning process is like pushing string. She executed all of our special requests, delivered great draft wedding vows and served as a great source of support on the day of the ceremony. Nicole is too good to be true! My wife and I looked extensively for an officiant. Everybody in the searching process just didn't quite feel like the right fit. Nicole was instantly different. She responded to our email very promptly and set up a meeting via Skype. We were instantly put at ease, she was so friendly, kind, enthusiastic, and professional that we instantly knew she was the right fit.
Nicole knows her stuff and was incredibly helpful in planning. Not only did she address every detail that we were prepared to answer (e.g., readings, whether to mention God) but she also reminded us about logistical details that we had completely overlooked (e.g., should we be announced as Mr. & Mrs. Matthew XXX? Is the bride "given away" by her father? Who's holding the marriage certificate after the ceremony? etc. etc.) That was very very helpful. She was also very knowledgeable and helpful with Virginia's rules on obtaining and filing the marriage license.
Nicole's communication was always superb and quick! She emailed us a draft of the ceremony text and was very willing to incorporate our changes and additions. We had a specific plan to tell a long story of how we met and Nicole didn't blink twice when we added it along with our very corny jokes.
On the day of the wedding, Nicole was on time, wonderfully dressed, and very professional. She brought her very friendly husband to assist her behind the scenes. We received tons of compliments on how Nicole made the ceremony so warm, loving, and happy.
On top of it all, her rates are a steal! I've been to weddings with far worse officiants with rates more than double that of Nicole's.

Let me say that Sweetheart wedding vows was worth every penny!!! Nicole was so accommodating, professional and understanding. Me and husband were desperately seeking a wedding officiant to perform a nondenominational ceremony. So we came across Sweetheart Weddind vows! Upon contacting Nicole she pleasantly was able to grant our request. What put the icing on the cake was that she provided us with the full copy of the ceremony one month prior to the wedding. Nicole was absolutely wonderful! She was ready and willing to make our ceremony our own. She walked us through the process and was able to help us with putting together our own special ceremony. We wanted to write our own vows and have family member speak, and she was able to give us the benefit of her experience and expertise. In addition, Nicole was able to roll with the punches when we had a bit of a whirlwind go through our ceremony, toppling some vases and interrupting the ceremony. She was definitely able to deal with the unexpected!
We also really appreciate the fun extra photos that she was able to capture.

Nicole was great! Her and her husband helped provide us the perfect outdoor ceremony. Nicole also filed all my paper work for our marriage license, we didn't have to do anything but show up. He ran about 15 mins late but Nicole waited patiently for us and out guests. She also let me know how to change my name. Sweetheart weddings are fantastic! #1... I'm a guy. Our Maid of Honor was able to locate Sweetheart Wedding Vows quickly and Nicole responded very quickly after I left a message. Things became drastic in this case when the planned officiate was unable to perform the ceremony at the roughly 18 hours before scheduled time.
I am sad to admit, altho this is my second marriage, but it was the most amazing and beautiful ceremony I would have ever experienced and it would be my own! Everyone there including my own three (25-30 ages) daughters were so surprised by what their "dad" could pull off. Heck my Mother-in-Law, loves me and am happy, because I did it right for her daughter! So Nicole asked me what I wanted, type of vows, religious tone, etc. And she hit it on target right there for her Bride and Groom.
My bride is still on a high despite the EXTREMELY upsetting dropout of our pastor's cancelation.
Nicole is such a "gem", we were able to meet her husband who was there to do any background assistance. A great team! my highest praise for what she provides to couples looking for matrimony! My only regret is that Nicole and her husband were unable to join us in our celebration due to another commitment. Thanks Sweetheart Wedding Vows!!!

Working with Nicole and Dushawn for our wedding was truly a blessing. From our initial phone conversation Nicole was very welcoming, helpful, and respectful of all our wishes for our wedding day. They literally stole the show for our rehearsal; they didn't just come to rehearse their parts but they gave us very useful tips and suggestions that made a huge difference on our wedding day. They were so excited and happy for our wedding as if it was their own, they felt like family more than a vendor. We had a wonderful experience with Sweetheart Wedding Vows. The are budget friendly, which is huge, but not the main reason to pick your officiant. My husband and I chatted with Nicole before hiring her to make sure she was a good fit for us and she is. She and her husband have a lovely story, she's very professional, but easy going. Sweetheart Wedding Vows works with the LGBTQ community which is very important to us.
We elected to have our ceremony personalized, so the ceremony script was written based on a conversation we had with Nicole. The script was sent in advance so we were able to edit it to make sure it really fit us. Sweetheart Wedding Vows was probably the best vendor experience of our wedding and Dushawn captured a ton of great photos day of, which was a bonus.
