Gorgeous flowers, amazing experience
I absolutely loved working with Nancy for our wedding flowers. She was so responsive and helpful throughout the process. She was able to stay within a very reasonable budget and make absolutely gorgeous bouquets and the most stunning swag for the trees that my husband and I got married in front of. I am so happy that we found Nancy for our wedding day and would absolutely recommend her. -

We love nancy!
Nancy was the florist at our 7/10/22 wedding, and she made it look like an absolute dream! I will admit that flowers were NOT our biggest priority in terms of budget, and Nancy was great at working with our budget to get us what we wanted. We mostly did greenery + baby's breath, and everything looked stunning. She even set up all of our candles (200+). Nancy was so sweet and very responsive. I trusted her to make everything look great and cohesive, and despite minimal direction from me, she pulled it off better than I could've imagined!! In a time when some florists are charging $5-$10k minimum for florals, Nancy was a breathe of fresh air! 10/10 recommend!! -

Nancy was wonderful to work with in creating the florals for our August wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. I know flowers aren't always at the top of everyone's list, but they were one of the more important things to me when it came to decor. We wanted an elegant feel with all white flowers and greenery mixed in and a tropical twist. She absolutely nailed it! Despite rising prices due to shipping and flower shortages, she was still able to keep us within our anticipated budget without having to sacrifice the overall look. My bridal bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets exceeded my expectations. On top of all that, she was so kind and wonderful to communicate with! -

We had some wild weather on our wedding day, but the floral garland and large arrangements stayed put, and were gorgeous when the sun came out and we were able to have the ceremony. The bouquets were perfect, and she incorporated peonies (my favorite flower) into both my bouquet and my sisters bouquets (my MOH). -

Sweetbay Flowers and Nancy were amazing! Our bouquets, boutonnieres, and arbor arrangement were beautiful! Out theme was rustic Italian. She nailed it, and made our special day even more gorgeous! -

Gorgeous Wedding Flowers

Nancy and Sweetbay Florists created bouquets that literally brought my mom and I to tears (happy tears!) on the wedding day. From the beginning, Nancy's communication was impeccable and she was incredibly helpful in picking out the details of the floral arrangements. Her expertise and service made her feel like she knew the vision for my wedding before I even said anything. We are so incredibly grateful for her gorgeous fall bouquets and all her guidance to make our rustic wedding come to life. -

Sweet Bay Flowers Envisioned Our Flowers Perfectly!
Nancy, at Sweet Bay Flowers, was responsive and attentive from the onset. She asked pertinent questions and offered suggestions that fit perfectly with what we had envisioned for our daughter's wedding!
While we lived a considerable distance apart, Nancy expertly advised us of what we would need for the Wedding Ceremony and reception afterwards. She provided suggestions for flowers that were in season, and matched both in color and visual appeal to what we had hoped for.
Her communication was excellent throughout the entire process!
Nancy's prices were better than most we spoke with, and she worked within our budget to create a spectacular array of flowers.
Nancy even suggested ways that flowers used for the ceremony could be transposed to entirely different center pieces for the reception.
As my daughter stated, " Somehow, you have taken what I wished for and made it come true!".
We would highly recommend Sweet Bay for your wedding flowers! -

I found Nancy online and after a few emails I went to for a meeting with her at her studio. She was so nice and did a great job of helping me with my ‘vision’ for the wedding. She was super friendly and ultimately provided awesome flowers for our wedding. I definitely recommend! -

Nancy was such a joy to work with. Was highly responsive and patient while I planned my wedding from out of state. She took my ideas and inspirations and brought them to life in such a perfect way! The day was pure magic and the flowers brought color and vibrancy. From the sunflowers and roses to all the beautiful greenery, it was everything I wanted. I cannot recommend Sweetbay enough! -

Out of all my vendors, I had the best experience with Sweetbay! Nancy made everything so easy and anytime I had a question or thought of a new idea, she was so open and always responded quickly! I had zero stress dealing with the flowers. I arrived at the venue and like magic everything was setup and ready to go, no issues whatsoever. Nancy is extremely kind, easy to work with and creates gorgeous arrangements at ANY budget! -

Nancy was wonderful to work with, and really brought my vision to life. She looked over my Pinterest board filled with ideas and color schemes, and pulled together the loveliest bouquets and arrangements. She was so sweet and was even able to pull together 2 extra arrangements when asked with only a weeks notice. If I were to do it all over again, I would choose her in a heartbeat! -

I hired Nancy last minute for our wedding flowers after realizing DIY-flowers may be too much to take on 🤪!
Nancy was really easy to work with and was able to provide gorgeous flowers at an affordable price. The flowers were just what I wanted -- loose, full of greenery, and whimsical/romantic! She did my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. She dropped off the flowers on the wedding morning and they were perfect! -

If you're looking for an Eastern Shore florist that provides amazing service and creates beautiful floral arrangements for your wedding, Sweetbay Design would be perfect for you! I absolutely loved working with Nancy throughout the entire wedding planning process. We met with three florists in total, and our first meeting with Nancy set such high expectations that none of the others could beat it.
She runs her business out of a cute shop right on the water at her family's property. I felt like I was meeting with a close family friend to plan my wedding flowers (I later came to find out she is friends with my aunt!).
I loved how Nancy could envision the look that I had in my head, but also provided some great suggestions for what we could add to make it even more beautiful. The whole process with Sweetbay Design was so personal, not transactional at all.
She did such an amazing job on the day of the wedding. The flowers were exactly what I dreamed they would be. Thank you Nancy for making my wedding day so gorgeous! -

I couldn't have been happier with how absolutely stunning every arrangement Nancy created was. Each was so creative, incorporated specifics I wanted, but always came together with a special unifying color or shape she created. Nancy provided great feedback, suggested ideas that fit perfectly with our vision, and was kind & thoughtful throughout the whole process. I have no other words to sum up my experience with Nancy from Sweetbay Design other than saying it was seamless! Nancy worked with my budget to help me find a happy medium between Pinterest and reality. I was stuck on peonies and of course I picked the one month they were out of season. She knew the perfect substitute. She was so thorough that I hadn't thought of half the questions she asked me. She was always quick to respond and the end results were just stunning. Her beautiful workshop made me feel like I was visiting family. She was so knowledgable about knowing how to keep them fresh the day of and how to preserve them if I wanted to. My experience was off the charts! My pictures were beautiful and I was so happy with the bouquet and centerpieces. She even made custom wreaths using grapevines from her garden! If you want someone who pays attention to detail and will deliver beyond what you expected, you're at the right place. -

She created the most beautiful chuppah for me with flowing chiffon and gorgeous flower treatments. It was A+!!!! Highly recommend! -
