When it came to choosing a wedding cake for our big day, we wanted something truly special—and Sweet Traders delivered beyond our wildest expectations! From the first consultation to the final bite, everything about their service was flawless.
First and foremost, the cake itself was absolutely divine. We chose the vanilla cake with their buttercream frosting and it was SO good. The cake was moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was.
The design was another highlight. We came in with a vision, and their team brought it to life in the most beautiful way. The attention to detail was incredible—the intricate floral decorations and elegant finish looked almost too good to eat (though we’re glad we did!).
As for the service, Sweet Traders was a dream to work with. From our first meeting, they were professional, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making our day special. They listened carefully to what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions, and kept us updated throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, the pick up process was seamless as they were able to accommodate having my friend pick up the cake.
Overall, Sweet Traders exceeded every expectation we had. If you’re looking for a wedding cake that tastes as amazing as it looks and a team that treats your special day like their own, look no further. They truly made our wedding unforgettable! Absolutely Amazing!!!
We got married on 11/22/2025 and searched many places before finding the perfect wedding cake. We wanted something elegant and beautiful, but most importantly something that tasted incredible, and Sweet Traders truly exceeded our expectations.
Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was responsive, professional, and made the entire process feel seamless and stress free. She guided us in choosing the perfect flavors, size, and design, all while keeping us within our budget, which we really appreciated.
Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the cake was, and it added such a special touch to our celebration. Thank you, Sweet Traders, for helping make our wedding day unforgettable and so sweet. -

Best Cake Ever!
When my now husband and I were looking for a wedding cake, we were referred to Sweet Traders by our wedding planner who had done research with other couples and assured us they were the best baker in OC - she was absolutely right! Choosing a baker is so overwhelming, but they make it so easy, and affordable too!
We went in for our tasting a number of months before our event, and their team was so attentive, patient, and kind. We were able to pick our cake, filling, and frosting, and this cake is seriously the best quality and taste you’ll find. We ended up going with 2 tiers marble and 1 tier lemon with a very light buttercream.
We went for a 3-tier simple cake with narrow, tall tiers, and it was just beautiful. They worked with us to make sure that the size of each tier was just to our liking for our minimalist style.
Our guests raved about it and, as many of us know, cake isn’t very popular these days because “nobody eats it” - which is not true when it’s that good. We saved our top tier, but it was so good that we couldn’t resist pulling it out of the freezer and eating it in the days after our wedding, knowing that we’d get a free anniversary cake for our first anniversary (the sweetest touch)!
Thanks a million, Sweet Traders - you made the process a piece of cake! My new go-to bakery!

December 2025 wedding cake
We got a 2 tiered heart wedding cake from Sweet traders.
Not only was the design of our wedding cake everything we wanted, but it also tasted great. I had came across their recommendation on a Reddit post and I went with them. They were extremely easy to communicate with, they arrived on time, and made sure the cake was set up too. You will not be disappointed.
To add, we did not do a cake tasting!! This was all hear say and we are grateful to of found them. You will also get a small cake for your 1 year wedding anniversary, so no need to save a tier! -

I have always dreamed about having a Star Wars wedding since I was little. I am a huge fan and when I feel in love with someone who loves Star Wars as much as me it was meant to be. Having a Star Wars cake was something I always wanted to have but never thought would be possible. Until I went to my cake tasting. Within minutes they just on paper ultimate dream wedding. Not only was my cake going to look amazing! The taste was phenomenal. We didn't look anywhere else. I will never have another cake from another shop again. I can close my eyes and still taste it. Perfection! Thank you for making my dreams come true. -

The whole experience with Sweet Traders was incredibly easy. They have so many flavor combinations to chose from. We chose marble cake with hazelnut chocolate cream and lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese. It was amazing and all our guests loved it. Picking the design was so easy. I just picked a couple pictures from their options and added a couple of my own and they made it beautifully. We also requested that they make a fondant figure of our dog and it was the cutest thing ever! I just wish we would have saved it but in the rush of everything, our little pup got left on the table. I would definitely recommend them! -

Sweet Traders was the absolute best bakery we could have chosen to create our wedding cake and cookies! We got married at Long Beach Museum of Art last summer and our dessert table was stunning! We wanted a simple beach themed cake and cookies and Sweet Traders brought the vision to life beautifully! We had such a fun time doing the cake tasting and we ended up choosing the yummy lemon blueberry cake flavor with the raspberry filling. Best cake and cookies ever! Our guests loved them! I cannot recommend Sweet Traders enough! From our initial request for a wedding cake tasting to the day of the wedding, communication from their team was fantastic. We initially didn't add on a sheet cake since we had a few other desserts but we changed our mind closer to the date and they were so accommodating! The cakes were so delicious that we order all of our birthday cakes with them. I highly highly recommend Sweet Traders and will continue to order all my desserts from them! -

Sweet Traders made us a beautiful and delicious semi-naked vanilla wedding cake frosted with Bavarian vanilla cream with an Oreo cream filling. The cake was absolutely delicious and one of the best desserts I ate that evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our taste test and appreciated that they had dairy-free options. They even offered us a free cake for our one year anniversary. I can't wait! -

We told our vision to Samantha and she drew it up on the spot and it was perfect. They delivered the exact copy of the drawing in real life and it was amazing. Best Tasting Cake EVER!!
Almost 1 year out from our wedding and still *dreaming* about our delicious wedding cake. We had a three layer cake with two flavors: passionfruit icing/lemon blueberry cake and coffee icing/almond cake. It was stunning and gorgeous and you won't find a tastier wedding cake! Okay hear me out... this bakery is by far THE BEST in Huntington Beach! The owner Rachael is awesome and makes all your dessert dreams come to life. Plus, they have vegan cupcakes (YUM!) I created a dessert wall for my wedding and had Sweet Traders deliver cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries (ALSO YUM) and all the guests LOVED it! There was barely any dessert left by the end of the night. I highly recommend this bakery for all your upcoming events. -

My husband and I loved hiring Sweet Traders to create our beautiful cake for our wedding this past September. From start to finish, Sweet Traders was extremely professional, communicative, and easy to work with throughout our entire wedding prep process.
The cake tasting was, of course, a fun experience, but most importantly, the flavors actually tasted so good! We went with a 3-tier multi flavored cake (lemon on two tiers and strawberry swirl in the middle tier). The cake itself was beautiful, and our guests loved it as well!!
Would definitely/highly recommend hiring Sweet Traders for your future wedding cake needs. We were very happy with the end product!! -

Excellent Cakes
We both love chocolate and carrot cake. During our tasting we found we loved both and ending up ordering two cakes. Both were moist, and a delight to the palet. You can't go wrong using Sweet Traders. They offer a complimentary 1 year Anniversary 5 x 3in cake of your choice of flavor, getting two, didn't get a piece of carrot cake, just a forkful. They were a great find, recommended by the Event Director at Old Ranch Country Club. -

Excellent service and cake!
The girls at Sweet Traders were the best. We got our cake included with our wedding package at the Old Ranch Country Club and Sweet Traders was one of the vendors offered. After reviewing the other vendors online we chose Sweet Traders because their cake styles were more fitting for our theme. The cakes are delicious and they offer several filling types to choose from. We chose three flavors and they all meshed well. Their team designed our cake to our vision and even though our vision was on the more simplistic side they made it beautiful. The guests commented how good it was. Dare I use the word “moist” LOL. We would highly recommend Sweet Traders to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion. -

Delicious beautiful wedding cake!
In 2020 I had this vendor recommended to me through my venue. In 2021 I re-booked my venue but I remembered this vendor. Unfortunately, you have to pay for cake testing. It was not like that before in 2018. Because of COVID they no longer have cake tasting in person but instead you pick up a box of cake/frosting that you pre-selected and try it at home. My family and I enjoyed this process. Me (the bride), groom, and 4 family members were able to mix-and-match the cake with frosting until we found the perfect combo. I was happy I was able to get their opinion too. I love how for every tier we can choose the flavor we wanted. On the day of the wedding the cake was perfection!!! 5 tiers with the flowers cascading down. Everybody raved about the cake not only how gorgeous it was but the flavor as well. My grandma who has been to many weddings said it’s the best cake she’s ever had—not too sweet and the cake was moist. She still raves about this 6 months later! I rented a cake stand to perfect the look. I wish it was included with the cake and instead get charged if I don’t return it. It’s convenient that they don’t ask for the stand right away but allow you to have a week to return it. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day or the day after is worry about wedding stuff! Would definitely recommend to any bride for a stress-free, responsive, vendor with delicious cake! -

My entire vision for our wedding cake was captured with the Sweet Traders team. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted our wedding cake to look like and they hit it out of the park! The tasting was seamless and delicious. We decided on a mix of carrot and vanilla cake! I wanted our cake to be a tiered cake but styled/displayed differently than most cakes we had seen in the past. I was entirely inspired by The Royal Wedding Cake (Meghan/Harry) and wanted a replica of that for our wedding day. I know sometimes replica requests can be tough as it may not be exact, but when I tell you this cake was EXACTLY what we envisioned, believe me! I instantly started crying when I saw the beautiful naked cake display at the wedding reception and couldn't believe how perfect it was. This was the cake of my dreams and my gosh was it delicious. Our guest couldn't stop raving about how tasty the cake was and they went back for more slices! This team from day one was kind and open to our ideas. A lovely experience that all couples should have! We were so pleased and adored our cake!! -

A week before our Big Day we learned that we were supposed to order a cake through a vendor instead of the venue ordering it as part of their wedding package! That's where Sam and Andrea from Sweet Traders jumped in and saved the day! They promptly took our order for our 75 guest count and delivered a gorgeous 3-tier vanilla with strawberry cream filling (and fresh slices) wedding cake. It was delivered perfectly and they made sure to coordinate with our wedding planner & florist in decorating it. All our guests complimented us on the beautiful and delicious cake! It definitely became one of the highlights of our wedding! Shout out to Sam and Andrea again! They are the best! -

Perfect Wedding Cake and Beyond
Highly recommend!! We needed to change wedding cake vendors fairly close to our wedding date due to some pandemic-related changes. Considering this was also a destination wedding, we had to do everything remotely. The Sweet Traders team went above and beyond to make sure we had the exact cake design we wanted and walked me through all of the flavors in great detail over the phone. They did not disappoint! We are so happy that we chose Sweet Traders to make our wedding cake. They were all so friendly and very easy to work with. We had our cake tasting and immediately knew we wanted them to make our cake. All the flavors were absolutely delicious. We then had a zoom meeting to go over exactly what we were looking for in a cake in regards to tiers and design. Our cake was delivered on time on the day of the wedding and it was everything I could of ever wanted. We also rented a beautiful cake stand for our cake to go on. Thank you Sweet Traders for making us the wedding cake of our dreams! We will be recommending all our family & friends and will be back in the future! -

My husband and I recently got married at SeaCliff Country Club and had the most beautiful cake from Sweet Trader's Bakery! We went in for a complimentary tasting, which was so much fun! We had a hard time deciding which flavors to choose because there were so many delicious options and combinations. We ended up opting for a marble cake with cookies and cream filling for one layer, and chocolate cake with praline cream for the other two. Both turned out delicious and our guests loved them.
Their staff was incredibly helpful in designing our cake to perfectly match our theme and decor. She gave suggestions and customized the design; it turned out perfect. They provided us with gold cake board to match our decor for no additional cost. Andrea was always quick to reply to our emails and was flexible and supprotive when we had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID. They offer gluten free options, which was important for several of my guests and myself. Sweet Traders also includes a one year anniversary cake, so you don't have to worry about storing that top tier or slice in your freezer!
Our experience with Sweet Trader's was so wonderful and we would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a cake for their wedding or special event! -

Our wedding venue recommended Sweet Traders for our wedding cake and I’m SO glad they did!! My husband and I aren’t big cake fans, but this cake not only looked amazing, but it tasted amazing too!!!
They were very quick to respond to emails and helped us out a lot with trying to find the right balance of cake flavors!! Our cake looked even better than the photos I sent them!! The fondant was super smooth and the cake was able to hold our cake topper without any issues!!
Our wedding guests STILL talk about how amazing the cake looked and how it tasted even better!!!
If you want an amazing looking and tasting wedding cake, I highly recommend Sweet Traders! -

Andrea, Samantha, Rachel & the entire Sweet Traders Team were fantastic to work with! The cake tasting process was so fun and easy. They have endless combinations of cakes, icings and frostings to choose from. We ended up selecting a 4-tiered cake with an 'every other' flavor of carrot cake + cream cheese frosting & lemon cake + lemon frosting. The aesthetic of the cake turned out perfectly and exactly as we described. We asked for a 'naked' cake with very simple live white flowers carefully staggered. Overall, our cake couldn't have been more perfect inside and out. We loved working with Sweet Traders and would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of a wedding or special event cake! -

My cake was more than amazing! I don't like sweets so I brought my best friend and my husband for the initial cake tasting, thinking I would trust their judgment. But Sweet Traders cakes are... out of this world! I ate all the cake at the tasting and every day for the next three weeks I found myself saying "I wish we could have more cake today". But also, the cake was beautiful. I had so many random ideas and the Sweet Traders staff took my dreams and made them bigger and better. Our cake was an absolute dream!
Seriously, the cake is amazing in terms of taste and design but theres a third factor that is probably most important. Planning a wedding is so stressful. There are so many decisions and contracts etc. There was absolutely nothing stressful about the process of buying a cake. I was 100% confident after meeting with Sweet Traders. I cancelled other cake tasting appointments because I need to see no more. Thank you Sweet Traders. We felt honored to have you as a part of our wedding day. Can't wait till you make a cake for our first baby shower! :-) -

Amazing Design and Delicious
It's hard to get both a beautifully designed cake and a moist cake at the same time but Sweet Traders manages to do exactly that! The design surpassed my expectations. Sweet Traders was a godsend! We were married November '17. They were an ease to work with and I am so happy that we chose them as our wedding baker. The whole process was easy and seamless from start to finish. The tastings were timely and efficient as well as the flavor choices. The end product was fabulous! They are responsive and professional! We would highly recommend them! and after going to the initial tasting we were sold. Samantha was so helpful and the service was consistently excellent during the planning process. We wanted a cake that matched our wedding decor, I brought in a picture I found from Pinterest and Samantha not a problem they could re-create it. We did a 3 tier cake bottom layer was Devils food with Oreo whip cream and the top two were Lemon with Raspberry cream. We chose the Italian Vanilla buttercream for the icing not only was our wedding cake stunning, the taste and quality of the cake was amazing. I am in love with the detail pictures of our cake. They were extremely helpful when I decided to add on a Grooms cake last minute and complete it with ease. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone planning a wedding or any special event. Like I know we will. -

All the guests and vendors couldn't stop talking about our cake!
My request for our Wedding cake was way of the box. I wanted a Galaxy Mirrored caked and they did just that! The cake was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice.
We got a tasting box and brought it home. Hands down our favorite was the Devils Food Chocolate and Vanilla Bavarian Cream. We couldn't stop eating it, but let me tell you I'm not a big fan of Chocolate cake and omg it was so good! Seriously is the most moist cake I've had.
All of our guest and Vendors couldn't stop taking photos and talking about our cake! Thank you so much! -

My husband and I hired Sweet Traders to design our wedding cake and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. We went with a 3 tier cake with two different cake types and fillings. One of our combinations was devil’s food cake with strawberry buttercream and the other was a white chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache filling. About a week or two before our wedding day we decided we wanted a dessert table— we chose 4 different mini desserts: tiramisu shooter, fruit tart, eclairs and strawberry shortcake shooters.
We had minimal contact with Sweet Traders because not much needed to be said. Their cake was as moist and delicious as it was beautiful. The desserts were delectable and easy to eat (presented with their own little spoons). We had rented some of their dessert stands which were gorgeous chandelier looking stands. It was all set up beautifully and delectable.
I will say thought one of my favorite things about them is that they will send us a new cake to enjoy on our 1 year anniversary instead of having to eat year old stale cake. And to that we say, Sweet Traders, we look forward to meeting again.

We got a petite 3 tier cake and a sheet cake in 2 flavors. We did Bailey’s frosting with almond cake and Bavarian vanilla frosting with funfetti cake. Both were delicious!! Our cake was a pink and gold marble design that came out beautiful! We showed pictures of what we had in mind and then didn’t see our cake until the day of the wedding. I was super excited to see and was not disappointed! It was gorgeous! We highly recommend Sweet Traders! They were so easy to work with and all their flavors are delicious! Our guests loved the cake! -

Great experience!
We opted on working with Sweet Traders because they were one of the selected vendors our venue/catering company worked with. We are so glad we did because they provided exactly what we wanted! We needed a simple small round cake with some gold leaf designs along with about 220 pieces of desserts. Everything turned out beautifully! Guests were raving at how delicious everything was! Looking forward to working with Sweet Traders again for other occasions! -
