Great wedding coordinator

Carolyn Mills was wonderful to work with. We were planning our wedding from out of state, and she was able to connect us to wonderful vendors and keep us on track during the planning process. She made the day of our wedding as stress free as possible.

Our Daughter's Dream Wedding

Hiring Carolyn Mills, Sweet Tea Events, was simply the best decision we made for our daughter's amazing wedding at Iron Manor. Together we planned and executed the wedding of our daughter's dreams. Not only does Carolyn respond immediately to texts, emails, and calls, she actually replies to questions with decisive and sound answers. Every time I felt flustered, one call to Carolyn fixed things. Without exception, every vendor we worked with from the venue to the Drywater Band knew her name and said they loved working with her. I enjoyed every minute of our daughter's wedding day and didn't have to worry about a thing because Carolyn took care of every detail. On top of everything, Carolyn is exceptionally kind, patient, caring and fun to work with. The Sweet Tea Event Co. is a gem should you be so fortunate to work with them.

Mother of the Bride best gift

Carolyn Mills was such an asset to helping us plan a destination wedding in Montgomery, Texas. She was readily available for the planning leading up to the wedding, knowledgeable of and well respected by vendors in the area that she would be working with, helpful with decor, transportation, and timeline questions, creative with signage needed for the event, and very friendly and easy to work with. Carolyn was the best gift I could give myself for my daughter’s wedding!

The best there is!

From our very first phone call, Carolyn was on top of everything! From reviewing our contracts, to setting up meetings leading up to our wedding, she nailed down every detail we wanted. On the day of, we had to worry about absolutely nothing but having the time of our lives!

Carolyn got every detail, big and small, right.
From the linens, place settings, signage, coordination with other vendors, timelines, meeting the venue's guidelines, and a rehearsal with the groomsmen, she got everything perfect. She had extra help at our wedding, and both were outstanding. They even had to-go boxes for my now-wife and I packed for when we left the venue as our own late night snack!

If you truly want to enjoy your day with no stress, and professionals on your side to know which adjustments to make if they are needed, Sweet Tea is your go-to!

Didn’t have to worry about a thing

Carolyn was extremely helpful throughout our wedding planning process. She was quick to respond to every email, text or call. Our day was perfect, on schedule, and a lot of fun, thanks to Carolyn! Using linens and decor through Carolyn was also super easy and well worth it.

Best Coordinator in all TX.

Carolyn was a wonderful friend to wedding plan with and we couldn't have had a better experience. She provided the best of everything, from planning, coordinating, vendor decisions, linens, designing and styling... literally everything. She is professional, flexible, fun, and an absolutely incredible person that you want on your team. The value you get from her is unmatched, as she has the resources and guidance you need to make you day not only beautiful but enjoyable. Since she handles everything on the big day and makes it run smoothly, you're actually able to ENJOY your own wedding.

On our special day she wrangled groomsmen, handled setup, coordinated with out other vendors, made sure guest arrival went smoothly, and made sure we had everything we needed to make the day an absolute dream. When we think of what made our wedding fun and successful, Sweet Tea and Linen is at the absolute top of the list. They are world class and you should hire them in a heartbeat!

Exceptional!

My daughter’s wedding was postponed twice due to the pandemic. The final date available to us was one on which our wedding planner already had a previous commitment. She promised to leave us in great hands with another “day of” coordinator, and she did just that! Carolyn came in as if she had been part of the planning process all along. The wedding day was completely stress free for the bride, groom & parents, as Carolyn made certain every detail was covered. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend her!

November 2019 Wedding

My husband and I used Sweet Tea and Linen for rentals including drink menu chalkboards, rustic cupcake stands, flower girl basket, and chair signs. We also opted for arbor draping at The Carriage House in Conroe, TX. Carolyn has a plethora of options to choose from for arbor draping colors and more. Upon arrival on the day of, the gentleman that hung the arbor draping asked me to come out and sneak a peek of it before he left to ensure it was exactly what we envisioned. They arrived promptly and brought all necessary rental items to the venue and they also picked them up at the end of the evening. There are many budget friendly items that we chose that really helped make our special day beautiful.

Amazing Coordinating and Decorating!

Carolyn is the best planner and decorator we could have asked for to help make our wedding a beautiful reality. We hired her as a "day-of coordinator" and she work with me beginning 12 weeks before the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. She is so kind and easy to work with, and she answered my calls at any time of day to make sure I felt comfortable. Carolyn also did all of the decorating for the wedding, and her attention to detail is outstanding. She made our wedding a dream and I could not have made it happen with out her. Thank you so much Carolyn!

Absolutely Amazing! Highly recommend

Carolyn is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! As my now husband said to me “Our coordinator is definitely our best booked vendor and best money spent the whole wedding”. She is so sweet and personable and we knew we wanted her to help coordinator and plan our special day the instant we started talking to her. She is very knowledgeable about the industry and goes above and beyond to make your special day absolutely perfect! She was able to help bring my vision to life and made my wedding more perfect than I could’ve ever imagined. Her day of coordination package includes partial planning too! From the start she stayed so plugged into all our vendor selections, helped with the design and putting things together, and we got all our rentals from her as well. She was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions or requests. She’s so creative and has such brilliant ideas for things from snack and bubble tea table set ups to photo displays, wedding signage, table centerpieces, and much much more. She made the whole process very simple and stress free, especially the day of the wedding. Our family and wedding party loved her too. Her mom also help set up the day of and she’s just as sweet. We are so thankful they were both part of our special day and made it everything that it was. We can’t thank Carolyn enough!

The sweetest and best coordinator!

We could not have planned our wedding without Carolyn. Her years of knowledge and expertise made the process much smoother and less stressful. She went above and beyond to make sure that our day was as special as possible. She carved out time for us to have a few minutes alone after the ceremony, and I cannot tell you how valuable that was for us. We also rented the LOVE marquis letters from her, which were a huge hit with all of our guests. Her collection of rentals allows for any style of wedding and allows you to not stress at all. From all of the meetings to the day of, we knew that we could count on her for anything that we needed. She was by far the best vendor that we booked!!

What style! What grace! We held a post-elopement happily ever after celebration for friends and family in Austin and Carolyn - working in a venue she had never seen - brought it all to life with her amazing props and decorating flair. She worked magic with our bulk flowers and brought special touches to every corner of the reception hall. Her vintage style was perfect for us! She's also a dear to work with and offered lots of smart advice on everything from how much booze to buy to how to best display three cakes (all of this was particularly helpful since we live across the country). Thanks, Carolyn, for bringing our vision to life - even when we weren't sure of the vision ourselves!

Carolyn was an absolute treat to work with and made our day so special. We literally would not have had the amazing, stress-free experience we had without her. The peace of mind she gave me as the bride and my mother was phenomenal. She is unmatched and made EVERYTHING easier. We even had several issues with our venue that she handled, and some minor last minute questions for the DJ, and she handled everything professionally and made it a win-win for both myself and the vendors. She is WONDERFUL!!

We are writing this review on our 1st anniversary after a year's reflection (read 'procrastination'). Our wedding preparations were not without their hiccups, but had we not have had Carolyn in our corner keeping everything on track it would not have gone so perfectly on our wedding day. We had our ceremony and reception at Hodge Podge Lodge in Montgomery, and Carolyn's relationship with that venue allowed for a stress free and fun wedding day. Carolyn's commitment to making your big day a truly special day for you and your guests is made evident by her work ethic. If you choose Sweet Tea and Linen you can expect to have an honest, hard working professional on your team to help make your wedding day memorable. Carolyn and John, we cannot say thank you enough!

Carolyn has a large inventory of fun and eclectic decorations. After a short consultation she had a great judgment of our style. She helped us make budget friendly decisions and compromises when they made sense. In the end we had an elegantly styled wedding that earned lots of compliments from our guests. I have so many lovely things to say about Carolyn from Sweet Tea and Linen. The ease of our wedding truly would not have been possible without her.

We were absolutely blown away by the level of service given by Sweet Tea and Linen at our wedding. Carolyn's level of attention to detail, and her years of wedding experience made sure that our wedding day went perfect without a hitch. From our first phone call with her, Carolyn made sure to put all of our concerns at ease. Carolyn has the most amazing selection of rentals and décor! She supplied a variety of vintage items for our wedding, everything from massive four foot tall LOVE letters, to candle holders, to welcome signs, a seating area, and not to mention Carolyn's beautiful styling of it all so that everything just looked perfect! We used three of her vintage couches for our lounge area at our wedding. People just kept talking about how loved them as well as off of the décor! We also had four foot tall LOVE letters that were a big hit! Our guests loved taking selfless with them. But what truly stood out to us about Sweet Tea and Linen was how easily Carolyn made us feel at home from the first moment we walked through her door. Sweet Tea and Linen made sure to take all of our wants into consideration, and a gave us a variety of choices in services that fit within our budget. We are full time wedding photographers, so we know many people in the wedding industry. Having worked with Carolyn at dozens of weddings over the years, and we always looked forward to knowing that the wedding would look absolutely beautiful down to the last detail. Carolyn was on top of everything throughout our wedding, and we were totally blown away with the beautiful décor that she used. She even helped style some of our stuff too! They say that everything is in the details, and Sweet Tea and Linen has that in spades! We can't recommend her enough! By having Sweet Tea and Linen supply our settings and details, we knew that we would be able to walk away at the end of our wedding night while they continued to work until late gathering up the rentals. Talk about stress free!

Where do I start? Sweet Tea and Linen are fabulous!!! My wedding day was nearly flawless because of their coordination services. Carolyn is extremely accessible and easy to reach. She has a great inventory of decor that gives a wedding that personal touch. Very reasonably priced and worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. I honestly couldn't have done it without her. Do yourself a favor, and hire Carolyn Mills as your wedding coordinator. You won't regret it!

Carolyn went above and beyond in helping to plan our special day at Big Sky Barn. We hired her for day of coordination and decor. Her decor inventory is awesome and she even made personalized signs for our ceremony and reception. She was a great resource for us during the planning process, especially regarding koozies, sparklers for our grand exit, and dishes for the reception. During our reception, Carolyn and John were amazing and kept everything moving smoothly. They even fixed a plate for the bride and groom and made sure we had drinks in hand at the appropriate times for toasts, etc. We highly recommend Sweet Tea & Linens!

There are no wedding planners more amazing, more kind or more devoted to the bride and the groom, than John and Carolyn! My husband and I miss seeing them as frequently as we used to because they feel like they’ve become part of our family. Carolyn goes above and beyond what she charges for her wedding planning services and John was so willing to help us in any way possible. At one point, I asked Carolyn if she knew what the cost was for about 50 different types of flowers and foliage and she immediately went to a wholesale vendor to figure out each price and continued to ask them questions when I wanted to know prices for 10 additional types. She also came out to my Bridals photography shoot to help with logistics, she helped me with the train, and she helped open up the venue and close it when we were done. That is not something that was in the contract but she wilingly helped! She would send me emails and texts just asking how we were doing and felt more like a friend and part of the family instead of a vendor we paid to help us for our wedding. She adores wedding planning and does such an amazing job along with her wonderful husband John! She will put in the extra effort and she is very detail oriented. I never was worried about anything related to vendors or planning and was able to have the time of my life. Carolyn and John will make your wedding wonderful and give you the opportunity to sit back relax and let them handle everything for you.

They are absolutely great! I could not have had a more perfect wedding day without Sweet Tea and Linen! I would've been so lost without Carolyn! John and Carolyn Mills are a super couple when it comes to wedding planning. Their warehouse is filled with anything and everything you could possible think of for a wedding, fit for any bride. Both of them are so sweet, patient, kind and they really listen to what you want for your special day. Carolyn was available 24/7 in case I needed anything or had any questions and she really made the night flow as she guided my groom and I to the next special moment. I couldn't have chosen better people to help me plan my wedding reception.

Carolyn was so very helpful and kind with all our rental selections for our wedding at Olde Dobbin Station. We first saw the LOVE marquee letters at an ODS open house and knew we had to get them right then and there (they are very affordable)! If you have not seen them, please check these out they are an amazing backdrop for any event. All our guests loved them and thought we got them custom made. We also rented a cross for our ceremony, sweetheart table and bench and a few chalkboards. Carolyn did such a beautiful job with all the text on our chalkboards and the biggest surprise was her being able to add some lovebirds to our welcome chalkboard. Our theme was lovebirds and it was the perfect touch! We also stopped by their showroom to pick our other items and we saw a lot of their inventory at Hodge Podge Lodge as well. Thank you so much for all your help Carolyn and I hope I can use those LOVE marquee letters for our vow renewal, years from now!

Carolyn and John are two of the most amazing people. Sweet Tea and Linen's services came included with our wedding package at Hodge Podge Lodge. We had a very specific image of what we wanted our wedding to look like and they executed it so well. They are always willing to answer any questions and are the true definition of professionalism. Their collection of things they have is so amazing and they can make anyone's vision come to life. I highly recommend using them for any event! The example below is a small sample of how much they are willing to go above and beyond for you.
The day of our wedding we were running behind on time and did not have time to finish up some of the smaller floral arrangements for the tables. Their assistant immediately went to the kitchen and finished them up for us, so that we could enjoy the little time we had left before our ceremony. This is a HUGE deal and I feel a lot of other companies would have not done this for us.

Carolyn's rental items saved us quite a bit of money on items we would never use again. The items were good quality and Carolyn was really flexible about returning the items. I definitely recommend renting event items from Sweet Tea and Linen!

She is so personable, nice, friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make my daughters wedding successful and made her to feel special with her impeccable taste, knowledge, and grace. She is sooo easy to work with, extremely professional and very communicative, and very flexible. You will adore her, and wish she was your next door neighbor for life!! I wish she would have been available for our wedding date to be our coordinator also, as she would have done an outstanding job in that capacity too. Her rentals for our rustic, religious, burlap, barn, boots and jeans type wedding were perfect and wish I had found her for my other daughter's wedding last year... formal, ballroom and black and white, as she would have made it perfect too. Don't even think about looking anywhere else for rentals or a wedding planner. Carolyn is the Best!!!!:)"

When I first started to plan my wedding, I did not thought of hiring a wedding planner. Later, when I booked my venue, Carolyn's services were included in my package and it was the BEST choice I ever made. Carolyn was so helpful and nice to my husband and I, I don't think we could have made our big day without her. From the beginning to the end, she was always very quick to respond to our emails and she would gladly meet with us in person if needed. Also, she was like a wedding coach to us and reminded us of what is the next step. Plus, she recommends awesome vendors that we could not have found online. SUPER helpful and so sweet! When I met Caroline she was setting up another wedding, she still took the time to talk to me and introduce herself. You can tell just by her actions and decor she puts her whole heart into her work. I am excited to work with her for my wedding this summer.

Our wedding day was relaxed and wonderful thanks to Carolyn and John with Sweet Tea & Linen. Carolyn followed my Pinterest wedding board to get an idea of the look and feel that we wanted for the ceremony and reception. We met twice before the wedding. Once in August and again in January. We discussed decor and day-of timeline. On the day of the wedding, Carolyn, John and other staff took care of all the setting up and decorating. It was beautiful! During the ceremony and reception, Carolyn made sure everything happened on schedule. She was even so kind as to plate meals for our grandparents as we were concerned about them walking across the venue and holding a plate of food.
Sweet Tea and Linen is the coordinator for all events at the venue we chose. The knowledge and care that they bring to event planning is amazing. Every time I talked with or had e-mail correspondence with them, they made me feel like our wedding was priority. They even had a huge open-house event scheduled for the day after our wedding, and not once did I ever think that their focus was on anything else than making our wedding day perfect.
I cannot imagine having planned our wedding without Sweet Tea and Linen. I'm already dreaming about all the future events that I want to plan with them!

Carolyn was absolutely wonderful. She took care of everything we needed and coordinated with all the other vendors to make sure they were there and set up at the proper time. No question was to crazy for her and she answered each one with professionalism and good advice. She has a shop full of wonderful stuff that adds that extra touch to make whatever venue you choose beautiful. She was such fun to work with and had things done before we even knew they needed doing. She pulled everything together and made the wedding day and evening extra special.

Sweet Tea And Linen made my wedding what it was. She was able to make EVERY crazy idea I had work and make it look like it was straight out of a fairy tale. She made our day PERFECT! From the moment I met Carolyn, I knew she was put in my life for a very special reason. She went above and beyond to make our wedding day truly magical!!! She spend countless hours, emails, and phone calls prior to the big day planning out and discussing my vision. While I began as a true DIY bride, I knew that on my BIG DAY I didn't want to be rushing around setting up the MANY pieces of decor and china I had been picking up for months. There isn't anyone else I would ever want to help execute the vision and design besides Carolyn. Sweet Tea and Linen worked with my own ideas and personal items. I had several personal items that I wanted to use in my wedding and reception as props etc. that ST&L was not only cooperative about but excited to hear and see my ideas working with their exclusive items & decorations. The over the top aww @ my wedding were the chandeliers (lite) hanging from tree - gorgeous just gorgeous!! I will and have recommended ST&L to EVERYBODY. For you brides planning your wedding - do not buy everything - rent it, it's a much better value for your wedding dollar.

I'm an event florist and had the great privilege of working with Carolyn and John of Sweet Tea and Linen on a recent wedding inspired photo shoot. From my very first encounter with them in person, and through every email and phone call discussion, they made me feel valued and appreciated. The day of the event, their talents became even more evident. They work so well together and have such creativity. Carolyn is amazing! She has any adorably, cute vintage item you could want. If they don't have it, she can find it. My guests had so much fun taking pictures under the trees at the large picture frame with the sitting chair, and under the lighted chandeliers after sunset. As a bride I liked that Carolyn always made me feel relaxed, she's super creative, rental prices are extremely fair, and they do set up/take down of rented items. Thank you for helping to make my dream wedding come true!

I cannot rave enough about Sweet Tea & Linens! Carolyn did an amazing job with seeing our vision through. Every detail was perfect and absolutely beautiful. Carolyn was also highly responsive and always provided me with lots of options and ideas without pressuring me to select something that wasn't exactly what we wanted. Her husband made these beautiful tiered log alter stands and the boxes that held the flower arrangements on top, we couldn't have been happier with them and every other detail. Highly recommend Sweet Tea & Linen's styling and rental services even if you don't think you need it or can "DIY". It was an absolute pleasure working with Carolyn!

I can not say enough about the talent of this lady. She never says no I can't do that! You will make it happen for you. I plan a lot of events, and this lady is definitely an asset to have working with you. Her husband John works with her also.
