Florals were one of the most important things for me when it came to my wedding this past October, and also the thing that I had the least ideas about what I wanted. I knew that I wanted it to be inspired by the florals of the Dutch masters and I wanted sexy fruits and that's about it. After meeting and talking with Lorinda, I knew that that was all I actually needed to know because I was in such good hands. She took my very scant information and ran with it all the way through the finish line. She absolutely CRUSHED both our wedding and rehearsal dinner. I think we might have had thew shortest floral mock up meeting because I showed up and had zero notes. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone who will listen! -

Lorinda’s floral design style is everything we were hoping for - elevated, unique, artistic, fun, a little whimsical, and full of unexpected touches. Her work feels effortlessly cool and modern, while still warm, expressive, and deeply personal. There’s a true artistry to what she creates. It’s not just florals, it’s visual storytelling.
We had a fairly clear vision going into the design process, but Lorinda and her team turned our mood board into a true work of art. Every detail was executed with such intentionality and creative energy. She has a gift for interpreting ideas in a way that feels fresh and original. I’ve truly never been so impressed by florals at a wedding, and I’m thrilled that I get to say that about my own.
One of the themes of our day was fresh fruit and Lorinda incorporated it in the most elevated and imaginative way. From ceremony installations to tablescapes, cocktail tables, and the bar, she wove fruit into the design with such sophistication and flair. Her ability to layer texture, color, and form resulted in a floral design that felt truly like art. Every arrangement had movement, depth, and a sense of playfulness that made the whole space come alive. Her creativity brought so much character to the day and helped make our wedding feel completely one of a kind.
Beyond her incredible eye for design, Lorinda is also such a lovely human. She is kind, thoughtful, collaborative, and a total professional. She made the entire process feel exciting, inspired, and easy. Lorinda and the whole Sweet Talk Floral team were absolutely amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the moment I jumped on a call with Lorinda, she heard my vision and assured me that she would be able to bring it to life – Which is exactly what she did on our wedding day. Her creativity and knowledge of the industry is unmatched, and her work speaks for itself (like have you seen her social media pages?! The color?? Come on!!). Her ability to work with color really drew me in, but our initial call solidified my decision in her display of professionalism, sweet confidence, and kindness. I knew I did not have to worry for a second when it came to the florals on our special day, as Lorinda had everything handled from start to finish. Lorinda was always responsive and included us in the process from start to finish, which really connected me to the end result (even though I can take absolutely NO credit for it, LOL!). I received SO many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous and different our florals were, and even from staff and other vendors who LOVED how the colors were so unique to what they usually see at our venue. She took the blank canvas that Belle Mer is and completely transformed it into a colorful, whimsical paradise for our day. To this day, I can’t picture a more perfect embodiment of what I wanted for our day. I am so grateful to have had Lorinda as a vendor, and will forever cherish the gorgeous blooms (which my mom preserved herself as a gift to me following our special day) as a reminder of the best day of our lives – all thanks to vendors like Sweet Talk Floral. We are so happy we worked with Sweet Talk Floral for our wedding florals. Working with Lorinda was a dream - she is a super clear communicator and it was so easy to talk through our vision and what we wanted for our wedding day. We didn't have any specific flowers we wanted for our colorful spring palette, and it was so nice to trust Lorinda to do her magic and we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and unique the flowers were. Gorgeous flowers!
Lorinda does amazing work! She truly perfected my vision of having pale pinks, oranges with texture and berries at my Boston winter wedding. Wildflower Garden Wedding Dreams
Lorinda and her team at Sweet Talk Floral are TRUE VISIONARIES! As a creative myself it can be a challenge to allow others to take the reins on creating your vision. After our first call going over our mood board and vision, I knew Lorinda had a keen eye on attention to detail which made me feel so comforted to know I needed not to stress over our florals at all. She was such a pleasure to work with and always so accommodating to all my wild ideas. We wanted a whimsical wildflower theme and it was truly beyond our expectations. The work of the Sweet Talk Florals team is unmatched if you are looking for any type of wedding florals. I can't recommend her and her team enough! -

The most incredible florist
The compliments we receive most about our wedding are about the flowers. And then I scream ‘I KNOW OUR FLORIST WAS AMAZING!’.
Sweet Talk Floral is not only an incredibly talented studio that creates vibrant, considered, show-stopping arrangements, but Lorinda is a true partner and support. From the beginning we were completely taken with how easy it was to speak with her and how she immediately understood our references and goals.
She was able to offer suggestions, recommendations, and guide us through a process that we were unfamiliar with. Especially in a very uncertain time, navigating the stressors and unknowns of a global pandemic, she was infinitely patient, understanding and optimistic. We didn’t feel like just another client, we felt like friends and truly cared for.
Then, she delivered. Over-delivered, in fact. With awe-inspiring pieces that we couldn’t have been more thrilled with. We always felt we were in good hands, and couldn’t have been happier walking down the aisle to see the gorgeous array of flowers covering our chuppah. In addition, Sweet Talk created a mix of center pieces, table decor and vines that stretched up the poles of our reception tent. Their taste continued to prove to be impeccable. We can’t recommend Lorinda and her team enough, we’re so lucky we were able to work with her. -

Lorinda and her team at Sweet Talk Floral are true artists and can make any vision come to life! She was such a pleasure to work with throughout the wedding decor process and she was always accommodating and open-minded to all my ideas. Lorinda also made my ideas feel real and possible, and she provided professional guidance, which to a bride who pays extra attention to details was super helpful. We wanted a Fall harvest/moody October vibe as the decor and being that the venue was a historical estate, Lorinda captured the mood of the day perfectly in all the florals. If you're looking for a floral designer who's experienced, talented, and great to work with, then look no further! I can't recommend her enough! -

Lorinda and I instantly clicked from our very first meeting. Like many others, our wedding was affected by all of the shutdowns last year due to covid. Lorinda was incredibly flexible and helped us reschedule not once, but twice. When I had issues with other vendor availability for our new date, she stepped right up and recommended our photographer and hair stylist who helped complete our day. She can help you plan everything from florals to decor and back again and has extensive connections throughout the area.
We ended up having a micro wedding which worked out perfectly for all of the florals. It made the flowers stretch so much farther and I felt like I was in my dream secret garden! I still am receiving so many compliments about the flowers from both people who were there, and people who have seen the photos.
Lorinda is truly one of a kind and such a genuine, sweet human being. You cannot go wrong hiring her to be a part of your special day! -

Without a doubt, Lorinda is an incredible florist!!!! She made my vision come to life bigger and better than I ever could've imagined! Everyone couldn't stop talking about how beautiful my wedding arch was which was then able to move inside. She even created a doggie flower crown! She was so easy to work with and a really awesome person. I had my wedding last October during the pandemic and she was extremely flexible and always dependable. As a bride who was impacted by COVID in March 2020, I had to abruptly postpone my wedding a month beforehand. I knew I wanted to still elope and decided to treat myself to an amazing bouquet. While researching flower vendors in the New England area, I happened to find Sweet Talk on IG and knew Lorinda's gorgeous creations were my top choice. I really appreciated how fast she was in responding and I knew I could completely trust her to create an amazing, unique bouquet, even though we only exchanged a few emails back and forth on my "vision".
I wanted a really colorful bouquet filled with a variety of bright colors, textures, and something natural and wild looking and Lorinda delivered a bouquet far more gorgeous and stunning than I ever imagined. I appreciated how she drove from RI to Boston to deliver my bouquet, even in the snow and how much care was put in the flowers, from the way they were packaged and how fresh they were the morning of! Even my husband's boutonniere and our pup's floral wreath was so cute and well designed. Most of all, I loved all the flowers she chose- there were so many unique shapes and flowers I had never seen before and the colors were just so vivid. Even the peonies she chose in the bouquet- they're such a common flower used in weddings, but the shade of Peony she selected was so gorgeous and one I'd never seen before! I was so happy and on cloud nine the day of my elopement - the bouquet she made for me just totally made my pictures stand out; our elopement photographer couldn't stop taking photos of them. If you're looking for flowers that will stand out and make your pictures pop, hands down hire Lorinda. Her aesthetic is just stunning and I would hire her again in an instant for any event I need flowers for!

Lorinda is an incredible and exceptionally thoughtful florist! Like many other couples, my fiancé and I had to pivot from our original wedding plans in California and decided at the last minute to elope in Rhode Island where we met instead. With two weeks before the date, I contacted Lorinda and described the vibe of our elopement, sharing a few colors and a single photo for inspiration. She showed up on our big day with the bouquet of my dreams and managed to sneak in California jasmine flowers - a nod to where I am from and where we were supposed to get married! I cannot recommend Lorinda highly enough! I am not exaggerating when I say that she is truly amazing. From my very first conversation with her, she was excellent and upbeat. She really is so easy to talk to. It was so much fun working with her to imagine what our flowers could look like, and she was so incredible about bringing that vision to life (and doing it in a way that was within our budget). With our follow-up calls, Lorinda was always a complete joy and made me feel so confident in choosing her.
My husband and I got married in March 2020 in Boston, just as COVID was starting to set in. Needless to say, the week leading up to our wedding involved a lot of last minute changes as we tried our best to adjust to the latest information. Along the way, Lorinda was incredible and flexible. We always felt like she was taking fantastic care of us and -- even more so -- felt her supportive presence. On the day of the wedding, she took care of dropping off all our personals to our hotel and then even setting up at our venue. We never had to worry about a single thing! Lorinda made sure that everything ran so incredibly smoothly and thought of every detail.
And then there were the flowers themselves. Lorinda's arrangements were BEAUTIFUL. I absolutely loved the bouquets, the boutonnieres were wonderful, and her decor for the venue was stunning. My jaw literally dropped when we first saw the venue and the magic that Lorinda had worked there. The pictures that included the florals were some of my favorite from the day. It was all so much better than I could have imagined -- elegant and yet a little whimsical! We got SO many compliments on the florals.
In short, choose Sweet Talk Floral. You won't regret it. Lorinda is a rare combination of good listener, talent, and professionalism that makes her special, and I am so thankful she was part of our special day. -

Sweet Talk saved the day
Four weeks out from our wedding in June 2020, which we were replanning in a new state due to cancelations caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we had no florist. Via a recommendation from our original florist, in stepped Lorinda from Sweet Talk Floral who didn't bat an eyelash at pulling together bouquets and arbor arrangements at the last minute. And she made my flower crown dreams come true! Her work was absolutely beautiful, the bouquets were gorgeous and just the right size, and the arrangements for the arbor were exquisite. All of the flowers tied the whole space together and set the tone for the day. They were colorful, fun, and unique - nothing like anything I'd seen before, which is exactly what I had in mind :) I can't thank Sweet Talk Floral enough for being so easy to work with, friendly, timely, and creative. Highly recommend to anyone out there with floral needs! -

We worked with Lorinda from Sweet Talk for our summer wedding in Vermont and I couldn’t have dreamt up better florals for our big day! Upon first seeing her work, I was instantly obsessed with her whimsical, textural, and slightly untraditional arrangements as well as her eye for color. When we chatted to brainstorm ideas, it was immediately clear that Lorinda knows her stuff. While normally I'm a control freak, I completely trusted her to pull out all the stops for our big day. I sent her some inspiration photos detailing the vibe/colors I was interested in, let her know where we needed florals, and let her do the rest! Working with her was completely stress-free and we are still OBSESSED with the results. She killed it. While I knew from the beginning that florals were important for our big day, my now husband listed them low on the wedding priority list. The flower arrangements at my wedding were beyond what I was hoping for. I found Sweet Talk Floral on Instagram and wondered if the photos online would match the finished product. She delivered! What's funny is that I never met Lorinda in person! I spoke with her on the phone and via e-mail. The communication process was so easy. I told Lorinda I wanted wildflowers, gave her my budget and she worked with me. While I was getting ready for my wedding, she was setting up arrangements at the church and at the reception venue. My husband and I didn't even know some of the names of the flowers she had in our arrangements. We dried many of the flowers and have now planted a variety of our wedding flowers in our yard for an extra special piece of landscaping. You'd be making a mistake by not hiring Lorinda and the Sweet Talk Floral gang! -

Enchanted dreams do come true!
EVERYTHING about the experience with Lorinda was absolutely amazing. I knew immediately just by seeing her work on the website that she was the one for our special day. In speaking with her, it was an immediate knowing working with Lorinda would completely relieve any stressors at all. She has a clairvoyance in simply knowing what you want. One of the best decisions we made
I found Lorinda through Instagram and instantly knew she would be the right person to do our wedding flowers. I’m very indecisive and always like a million different ideas that shouldn’t make sense together, but she was able to see and piece it all together and create exactly what I wanted. She just gets it. Wedding planning was stressful, and knowing I could trust and not have to worry about her seriously took a huge load off my shoulders. Can't recommend enough
Lorinda's floral work is breathtaking - she's truly an artist, as you can see in her pictures! I received so many compliments on our gorgeous arrangements and how well they worked in our venue. Lorinda was also a true pleasure to work with - she is so kind and cheery. Working with Lorinda of SweetTalk was exactly what we needed in a florist for our wedding. We didn't have a definite plan for how we wanted our wedding to look, but we gave Lorinda colors, a few ideas and she pulled our thoughts together for beautiful centerpieces and bouquets that were complimented the whole evening and afterwards. My biggest regret on my wedding day was not being able to thank Lorinda in person for the beautiful florals she created. After two other florists I wanted to work with didn’t work out, I scoured Wedding Wire for a florist whose work fit the aesthetic that I wanted to create for my wedding day. As luck would have it, Lorinda, who previously was based in Brooklyn, was about to move to New England and was looking to book weddings in the region. We spoke on the phone and it was clear to me almost instantly that Lorinda understood my vision for the day. When I received the look book that she created, I knew that I could relax and let her do her thing! Not only were her flowers perfect, she was also incredibly helpful with other wedding décor such as our escort board and table numbers and easily accommodated a few last minute changes. My only hope is that I’ll have a reason to hire her again some day so that I can give her that in-person thank you. -

Small Wedding in BK
This review is a bit overdue...I was on a tight budget for a small restaurant wedding in Brooklyn and of the few florists I spoke to, Lorinda offered the best options for my price point. The flowers came out even better than I'd expected and the space looked great - I received a number of compliments over the course of the evening. Lorinda has great energy, was very responsive, easy to work with and most importantly, nailed the aesthetic. Highly recommend! -

Fun Perfection!
I don’t even know where to begin with how wonderful it was working with Lorinda. At the beginning of the wedding process we didn’t feel very strongly about florals and since the bar where we were getting married had a certain amount of personality in the first place, we wanted to try doing minimal florals ourselves. It didn’t take long for us to realize that was a bad idea. On top of that we decide to do our ceremony at the venue (instead of City Hall) so with very little notice, we asked Lorinda to totally transform the space that would be our ceremony location. Lorinda is an amazing collaborator, she is wonderful to work with, she took what we asked for and interpreted it in such a breathtaking way that we couldn’t have even dreamed of. The flowers were so beautiful and they were truly a topic of conversation at the wedding. The ceremony backdrop she created was so amazing that I had to try not to cry when I saw it for the first time. She played such an important role in making our day feel special and we can’t recommend her highly enough. -

Rick Sent on 05/23/2018I know that a full five-star rating in every category may raise eyebrows, but the sincerity of the situation is one where my wife and I can't express our appreciation enough for Sweet Talk and Rinny's care and energy with which she handled the flowers for our wedding. While I'll admit, as a perhaps stereotypical groom - though having worked in the floral business before - not initially having the floral design of our wedding at the top of my list of concerns, after Rinny took the time to make a personal visit with us to the venue and started describing her vision based upon our input and early ideas, it became clear the floral design would be a powerful and nuanced part of the "character" of our wedding and the "vibe" with which we wanted to welcome our guests and family. I am now at place where the look, variety, and color combinations of the flowers, garland, and bouquets are a distinct and predominant memory of my wedding.
First and foremost, Rinny was genuinely interested and excited to be part of our event, clearly exhibiting an enjoyment and passion for her craft. While some vendors have a sort of boiler plate kindness, Rinny not only communicated with us in a personable way and listened carefully to our ideas, but she was clearly invested in the possibilities of what we could achieve with the visuals of our venue, offering multiple ideas of distinct vision and "eye." Importantly for me, it was all pressure free, as Rinny was flexible and motivated to get the details, composition, and tone right. This was crucial considering both the venue and the size of our wedding. Having only 35 guests and a ceremony and reception in a highly intimate speakeasy-style space, with a small outdoor patio, the floral design was front-and-center for our family and guests. The pales, pastels, blues, violets, and whites still burst in my memory. Thank you Rinny; perhaps most importantly, our guests still comment about the flowers and have Sweet Talk at the top of their lists. -

I cannot say enough good things about Sweet Talk Floral. We used them for our wedding and had such an excellent experience! Even during a pandemic, when her supplies were more limited, Lorinda managed to deliver BEAUTIFUL flowers and I was so in love. Lorinda from Sweet Talk flowers put together THE MOST GORGEOUS arrangements that I could have imagined for my wedding. My vision and theme were captured perfectly. I wanted a "trendy goth" wedding with deep mauve and burgundy tones and the flowers and arrangements that she provided were perfection. The flowers that she chose were unique and eye catching, not just run of the mill roses. The altar arrangements were interesting and asymmetric.
