  Fantastic food and wonderful to work with!!

  Tammy was a joy to work with and made the selection process easy and stress free! We even had special dietary needs and she was so sweet to make something special for that one person! I highly recommend them!

  Best Wedding Food

  Sweet T catering was our first caterer we tried in the planning process, and we immediately fell in love with Ms. Tammy and her food. We had good southern comfort food. All of our guests raved at how delicious the food was. Their team was incredibly flexible, personable, and caring throughout the entire process despite COVID and a hurricane. She made sure we were individually taken care of throughout the entire evening.

  Tammy Cook from Sweet T Catering is exactly that...SWEET

  Tammy has to be one of the nicest people we have ever met. The professionalism shown by her (as well as her staff) during our wedding was exceptional. Even with all of the social distancing guidelines in place, she was more than willing to work with me & my wife to ensure everything went smoothly on our special day. Since cafeteria and buffet styles were not an option, Tammy created a system to serve our guests safely and efficiently. She cut and served our wedding cake, and put the top tier inside a storage container for us. There was even a "To-Go" option. The food was delicious, the presentation was great, and the portions were more than enough. All of our guests were EXTREMELY impressed. She even prepared a personal order of brisket specifically for me. Thank you so much for everything! Tykeela and Sammie

  A Dream Come True

  Catering is the only vendor we have struggled to book since we got engaged. Tammy at Sweet T Catering met all of our needs food-wise and financially. We wanted a fairly speacialized dinner meal for our upcoming wedding and she was all about it! We also let her know that we were on a time crunch since we need to make payments for the cost and she has been extremely accommodating. We cannot wait for our reception dinner!

  Dishes Delish with Sweet T

  We were referred to Sweet T Catering, Tammy, by a co-worker and boy were we grateful!!! The food was fresh, hot and absolutely fabulous! Attendees of our wedding continue to talk about the food still, 3-months post-wedding, and how delicious is all was… No one left hungry for sure!! Tammy is wonderful to work with and made everything so easy for us… quick with suggestions and tips when needed too! Her and her team are trustworthy, hardworking, polite, professional, and just overall talented! I know we will definitely be using them again for family gatherings… And, if you want your guest to fall in love with your food and have a great time, Sweet T Catering is the way to go!

  My guests are still talking about the food!

  Tammy stepped-up when a caterer we planned on having canceled. The food was amazing! She worked with us to develop a main course that she had not made before and it was great! Her service and food was better than some of the more pricey caterers out there in Birmingham. It was truly a joy to have her part of our experience!

  Amazing vendor!!!

  I absolutely loved SweetTcatering!! We used them for our rehearsal dinner and wedding and were blow away! The food was amazing!!! Even our guests commented on how good it was! Daniel and Tammy were such a joy to work with and I would 100% recommend them to everyone!!

  My daughter and I discovered Sweet T at the bridal fair and knew we had found the reception caterer when we tasted Tammy's samples. Mouthwatering! (We kept going back for more!) You won't find a better caterer. I echo other reviewers--Tammy and her crew are exceptional. We asked her to use a family recipe, and it was absolutely perfect. She is so nice, calm, and professional. Won't need a wedding caterer again, but I'm definitely thinking about Thanksgiving dinner...just kidding, Tammy!

She worked with us every step of the way; was super responsive to our questions and needs; was flexible and open to our suggestions and requests; and relieved any stress we had about the food! Everyone at the wedding complimented the food, which was delicious! Also, my husband and I didn't want traditional wedding cake, so Tammy's pie shooters were a fun and delicious alternative that we actually enjoyed eating!!! If you're looking for delicious food from a down-to-earth person who is enjoyable to work with, hire Sweet T Catering! :D

They are super flexible and willing to customize your menu to exactly what you want, plus they offer an awesome tasting before the big day, so you know exactly what you're getting. We had brisket, two types of chicken, green beans, okra (our special request), a mashed potato and mac and cheese bar, and some appetizers and rolls, and still were well within our food budget. You couldn't get half that menu elsewhere for the same price. The food was absolutely perfect, and all our guests are still raving about how it's not only the best wedding food they've ever had, but also some of the best food in general they've ever had. They provided everything from cake cutting to bartenders and were extremely professional and friendly. Cannot recommend Sweet T enough. Would definitely use them again for any event.   Oh where do I begin?? Tammy & her team are OUTSTANDING! She got a feel for my not-so-traditional idea of reception dinner & made it blossom like no other could have!! My favorite part was her S’mores Bar that my guests are still talking about!!! She has the warmest heart & genuinely wants your wedding to be PERFECT!!   Couldn’t have asked for better. Absolutely perfect in every area. From the day we sat down for tasting until just yesterday with guest still raving about the food! Tammy and her crew went above and beyond and took care of anything. Could not be more pleased with the staff, the service, the presentation and the food! Amazing!

Very professional, very responsive, and very well received at our reception. A month later our friends and family are still talking about the amazing dinner. Sweet T Catering prepared a private dinner for me and my husband to enjoy after the ceremony before joining the party and made sure we did not miss out on the food we had hand selected for our event. The tasting allowed us to pick a great menu that was sure to please all of our guests and allow them a variety of options. You do not want to miss the mac n cheese bar or the stuffed mushrooms! The communication leading up to the wedding made me feel so comfortable, knowing that everything food related was totally taken care of! You will not be disappointed in the service with Sweet T.

  Hard to communicate with

  This caterer could have been the best thing about our wedding if they had only returned messages. The food at our tasting was wonderful and we were so looking forward to it at the reception. However, we never got the chance. This caterer took two week plus to return messages and failed to show up to our wedding causing tremendous stress for us. We were able to use the local BBQ restaurant and it was delicious. We did get refunded and came out cheaper in the long run. Very unprofessional.
