Amazing Wedding Cake
We are absolutely blown away by the stunning oyster-themed wedding cake that Rhi created for our special day! Not only was it a breathtaking masterpiece that perfectly captured our vision, but it was also one of the most delicious cakes we’ve ever had. Every detail, from the delicate oyster shell design to the flawless execution, was truly a work of art.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about both the beauty and taste of the cake—it was the perfect centerpiece for our reception. Rhi was an absolute joy to work with, bringing so much talent, creativity, and passion to her craft.
If you’re looking for a baker who can turn your dream cake into a reality, look no further! We cannot recommend Rhi highly enough. Thank you for making our wedding even more magical! -

Fellow food allergy peeps! Rhi is the woman for you!
From the very beginning, Rhi was so sweet, attentive and super caring! She really wants everyone to enjoy their wedding dessert with or without food allergies. Being allergic (anaphylactic) to dairy, I am super limited on dessert choices. However, I really wanted to be able to eat my wedding cake. Long story short, I found Sweet Rhi and boy was it sweet. I didn’t tell anyone the cake was dairy free because I didn’t want them to judge before they even tried. I had SO many family/friends pull me aside and compliment how delicious the cake was. Honestly, we’re 3 weeks since my wedding and people still say how much they enjoyed our desserts.
Allergy, no allergy- you will enjoy any dessert that Sweet Rhi creates.
Do yourself a favor and book a tasting with her! -

We are so happy we chose Sweet Rhi for our wedding cake! From the cake tasting, to the day of, she was communicative and helpful along the way! She made our vision for our cake come to life, and it was absolutely delicious! She was also transparent, and helped us save some money by having a beautiful tiered cake on display with sheet cakes in the back to serve the guests. Rhi made our wedding day extra sweet with our wedding cake, a groom's cake, and mini cupcakes. I thought we ordered way too much, but everything was so good that we only had a few mini cupcakes left at the end of the night (plus the top of our wedding cake). Everything was delicious! Our wedding cake was the traditional wedding flavor, the groom's cake was smores cake, and the mini cupcakes were chocolate and caramel, lemon curd, and holiday spice. Highly recommend! We will post pictures of the cakes and cupcakes once we get them :) -

Absolutely Amazing!
Rhiannon is absolutely amazing. The cakes are so fresh and delicious. We chose a strawberry cake as well as a blueberry cake and both were made with fresh ingredients. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious the cake was! The cake design was beautiful as well! Hand pipped flowers with pearl accents and hints of gold shimmer. We told Rhi that our theme was a whimsical garden party and wow did she nail it to a tee! I would HIGHLY recommend Sweet Rhi! -

I do not think I have met a more talented baker. Both our grooms cake and wedding cakes were truly pieces of art, and the cakes were so tasty. Rhi helped our wedding cake dreams come true while considering our budget, style and needs in regards to our timeline, guest size, etc. We can't be more excited to eat our wedding cake again at our one year anniversary. Rhi made my wedding cake, and it was absolutely perfect. When I saw her cakes on Instagram, I just had to meet her! Working with Rhi was a dream—she’s easy to work with and wants to make your day to be special from the first moments of the tasting all the way to your wedding day when has your top tier perfectly boxed up for you. She also understands very well that the numbers of people attending your wedding may change and is so understanding when it comes to adjusting the size of the cake as well as costs. My daughters cake looked like a picture it was so beautiful and creative. We had 3 different tiers and each one was amazing. We also ordered cupcakes that were so fresh, beautiful and tasty. Everyone commented on this vendor , I could not say enough they were so professional and easy to work with. You cannot go wrong by choosing these folks loved them!! -

Rhiannon of Sweet Rhi did such a great job with our cake and desserts for our wedding! All of the bite sized desserts were raved about by our guests (the brownies especially were a crowd pleaser). She did such a great job setting these up to look so great and even packed up and had ready to go cake to save for our anniversary! I completely spaced initially on remembering to return the cake stands we rented from her and she was so understanding and accommodating. -

Working with Rhi was a dream! She made the whole process very easy. We needed help figuring out flavors, cake design, & dessert choices, & she sweetly guided us through it all! The end result was an absolutely beautiful cake designed perfectly for our rustic theme. it was a birch tree-look, & she even put our initials on it in a heart that made it look like it was "carved" into the tree....that was my favorite part of the design..so cute!! The flavors were just delicious, & our guests must've loved the cake as well as the desserts, because there was no cake left & only a few desserts...lol! She gave us a deal on pricing too. I cannot say enough good things about Rhi & her work. You can't go wrong with her! I will be going back to her for any needs in the future! -

I am so glad we were able to book Rhiannon for our gorgeous wedding cake and stunning desserts!! Rhiannon, like her delicious treats, is the sweetest and works with you to ensure your vision is fulfilled! She came highly recommended with our venue and other vendors who noted not only her popularity, but professionalism!! We had guests attending with a variety of allergies and preferences (nuts, citrus, gluten, and vegan!). Rhiannon worked with us to create a dessert menu in which each guest was able to enjoy one dessert!! We're so glad we booked her for a tasting last April; otherwise, we wouldn't have tasted anything but our lovely cake!! When the evening ended, I asked my mother if any desserts were left! Only three cupcakes remained and 6 of our favor cookies!! (Thankfully, I snagged 4 of the cookies to enjoy on our mini-moon!) You will NOT be sorry choosing Rhiannon for your wedding or event!! She is super easy to work with and highly responsive!! Your cake and dessert table will be a star of the show! Rhiannon, thank you so, so much! I wish I could've seen you that day to tell you so in person! -

Not only did Rhi make our wedding cake, she is our cake baker for life! She was so flexible with COVID--our initial cake tasting were little cupcakes we took home to sample. We had two weddings: the signing then the ceremony later; she made both cakes. We did her tiramisu cake for no1 and the classic strawberry and buttercream for no2 and both were stunning. The design and decoration is beautiful, and she made a little birthday cake for my husband's sister whose birthday was on our wedding--it did not make it home!
We look forward to using Sweet Rhi for all our cake and cupcake celebrations! -

This cake was absolutely stunning!! Guests were raving about how good it tasted. Rhi is very flexible with cake tasting and my husband and I both agreed that her flavors are the best we have ever had. Not your typical "wedding cake". Flavors are unique and delicious! Price is also very reasonable. -

A Perfect Wedding Cake

Need a Charleston cake vendor? Look no further!
We are so thankful we were able to work with Rhi for our wedding weekend and beyond! She is so incredibly talented at what she does and we still get compliments on our wedding cake three months later! Her flavors are amazing and she is so easy to work with. We took one bite of her buttercream and knew she was the one! From our wedding cake, to the grooms cake and baked goods for our rehearsal dinner, she absolutely crushed it!
We even did a private baking class with her after our wedding and would highly recommend. Sweet Rhi is the vendor to choose when looking for your Charleston wedding. -

I am so happy I found Rhiannon to make our wedding cake. Rhi is very easy going, and down to earth. I found an inspiration photo I wanted my wedding cake to look like, and Rhi was able to replicate the cake! All of my guests LOVED the cake. I had several comments of guests wondering if the cake was actually real, now THAT is a great compliment. The flavors of cakes we selected were just as delicious as the original cake tasting. Hands down, I would choose her time and time again to make my wedding cake. Rhi was patient, and offered guidance every step of the process. Last but not least, her pricing was very competitive! Some local bakers were charging outrageous pricing, but I found Rhi to be the most reasonably priced with exceptional customer service and quality. I highly recommend Rhi. -

Deciding on a baker to make our wedding cake was proving challenging because I have a food allergy - until we met Rhiannon. She was able to accommodate it with no problem at all. I would not even describe her as a baker, she is more of an artist. The cake she made for us was gorgeous! All her flavors are so delicious we struggled to decide which ones we liked the best. Most weddings I have been to the cake looks pretty but tastes gross. Her cake is so delicious our guests kept commenting how good the cake was and I had 3 slices myself. She does not just make cakes, she makes so many other desserts as well. She was such a delight to work with and we cannot thank her enough for making such a gorgeous and tasty cake for our wedding. Rhi was a client of mine back a few year ago, so it was a no-brainer that I wanted to hire her for my wedding when the time came. I knew her, not only as a talented artist, but as a friend.
Y’all, when I say she blew us away, SHE BLEW US AWAY. When we rounded the entrance into our tent, the first thing my eyes went to was that masterpiece of a wedding cake in the back corner.
Our wedding had an astrology theme, and she put mine and my husbands actual sun sign constellations as the toppers.
I cannot get over it, and she will be a lifelong referral. It was beyond what I had even imagined in my mind, and it was an upgraded version of the picture I had sent her as inspiration.

We are so glad someone recommended Rhi to make our wedding cake. From initial inquiry, to cake tasting, to final product, the experience was truly delightful. At the cake tasting, we tried about 6 flavor combinations and each was delicious. We settled on one layer of almond citrus with raspberry jam and vanilla icing and one layer of vanilla with strawberry rhubarb jam.
Between our bridesmaids and myself, we had a number of allergies in the group, but Rhi was able to create a tasty (and preciously decorated!) little vegan cake for our ceremony, and even made two nut-free cupcakes for our bridesmaid. The cake was a hit with everyone and received tons of compliments on the look and taste. The layers were light, fluffy, and perfectly flavored without being overly sweet (I’ve found that some vegan cake recipes are prone to excessive sugariness — but not in Rhi’s). Kids and adults LOVED the cake; the flavors were so unique but also had amazing appeal across all age groups and tastes!
If you are looking for a baker who’s as sweet as her products, I can’t recommend Rhi enough. If you or any important guests have food allergies, our recommendation couldn’t go further! To my knowledge, there is no baker in Charleston who is more accommodating. It was a pleasure working with her! -

The perfect cakes!
Sweet Rhi was amazing! She provided us with the most beautiful & delicious cakes for our wedding rehearsal lunch and our wedding. She is so talented!! Our groom's cake was a fishing cake and it was adorable. Our wedding cake was exactly how I envisioned it!! Beautiful & tasty! Also, her gluten free cakes are delicious!!! So happy we chose Sweet Rhi for our cakes. -

Rhi did such an excellent job on our cake. All we did was send her an inspiration photo, and she perfectly mimicked it. She was so easy to work with, and required almost zero effort on our parts. We are so glad we chose Sweet Rhi for our wedding desserts! I was super indecisive when it came to picking out desserts. (Everything was so delicious, it was hard to choose!) I especially loved her homemade jams. From our first tasting until the big day, Rhiannon was extremely helpful! She was so accommodating every time I changed my mind. My mother lives out of state and requested Italian Wedding Cookies. Rhi shipped them to my mom so that she could approve of them. (She made them perfectly, might I add!) Our three-tier cake was beautiful, and the combination of cupcakes were delicious! All of our guests were extremely complimentary... and every single item was eaten! Stunning Cake and Delicious Desserts
Rhiannon at Sweet Rhi is absolutely wonderful!! She is such a sweetheart and a dream to work with. Her cakes and desserts are to die for as well. I wanted a dessert table and a fancy wedding cake, but for an inexpensive price. This was not an easy task. Rhiannon easily made it happen though. My husband and I both have big sweet tooth and love a variety of desserts. Rhiannon said no problem! She made us strawberry cheesecake bites, red velvet cheesecake bites, snickerdoodle cookies, chocolate chip cookies, and brownie bites for our dessert table. We couldn't decide on a cake flavor so she made each tier a different flavor. The fresh strawberry bottom layer, chocolate with peanut butter filling middle, and red velvet top layer were to die for!! I am not a big cake person, but we both demolished our pieces. The cake looked STUNNING as well! Seriously so pretty! I wanted ribbons, studs, a monogram and flowers on it. That combination could have been tacky, but she made it absolute PERFECTION!! It turned out super classy and girly. My only regret from my wedding experience is that I wish I had eaten more of the desserts before my guests gobbled them all up. Go book Sweet Rhi!! You and your guests will thank me. -

Lovely & Tasty Cake From Kind Professional
Rhiannon is an experienced professional with a kind disposition. She is a very busy individual, but she squeezed us in despite having several other weddings on the same weekend. She was also very accommodating when it came to scheduling our tasting with short notice when we came in from out of state to tour our venue. She made us feel important even though ours was a small wedding of just 50 people.
When we went for our tasting all the cakes were so delicious we had a tough time choosing flavors! She also gave us a sample of macarons during the tasting that were very yummy.
She was flexible when I made a few changes to my thoughts on design and added a cake topper just a month out from the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, the cake looked lovely and our guests were commenting on how beautiful and tasty the cake was.
I would definitely recommend having Rhiannon provide cakes or other desserts for your wedding and/or other special events.
