Great service, food and all-around experience

While helping our daughter with her wedding she selected Sweet Memories. The food was fabulous, the place settings grand and the service impeccable. Even though my daughter selected a buffet style versus a plated dinner, Susan still brought plates to the bride and groom and helped get food/drinks for the elderly. We received many compliments on the taste of the food, the presentation of the tables and the great service. Spend a few minutes talking with Susan and you’ll find that she is very experienced, has great attention to detail and cares about her clients. You walk away from a conversation feeling like you are the only one that matters. I would strongly recommend Sweet Memories for your catering needs.

I met Susan at a bridal show in Fort Worth, we tasted her food & fell in love immediately! We scheduled a day to meet and go over her menu & all of the little details in between. There was no doubt that she would be the one to cater my wedding!! Susan was very helpful & very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. She also helped set guidelines & rules for my wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly & everyone, including my bridal party was cooperative! Everyone at the wedding enjoyed the food & the decor she provided! it was absolutely AMAZING. Her floral work is outstanding as well. I got married May 6, 2018 & I still have my bouquet from the wedding, as i was able to keep for a keepsake. I HIGHLY reccomend her to anyone and everyone. Susan is a very sweet & personable woman. My Husband & I absolutely adored her.

Sweet Memories provided our cakes and flowers for our wedding. We wanted something non-traditional as far as cakes, and susan totally embraced that and ran with it. We met with her without having a lot of vision about what we wanted, and she really helped us make our vision a reality. Our flowers were beautiful and our cakes were gorgeous and DELICIOUS! They truly made our night perfect.

When I originally went to Sweet Memories, it was simply for the cake. I had heard they baked not only beautiful, but very delicious wedding and special occasion cakes. Once I was chatting with Susan, I discovered they do SO MUCH more than just cakes. Sweet Memories provided us with our catering, cake, flatware, glassware, and linens. They also have the option for flowers and DJ, although we went with friends of ours for those two items. Susan and her whole team are so caring and professional. I didn't worry about a single thing the day of our wedding. The food was so amazing, EVERYONE went back for seconds. We got the Pork Tenderloin and Pineapple Upside Down Salmon. Both dishes were amazing. And the cake...you can't find anything better. You won't be disappointed!!!!

Exactly what our wedding needed.
Susan’s food is delicious; it was honestly difficult to decide what to have because we couldn’t have it all! We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding catered by Sweet Memories – two very different food themes but both delicious! They were even kind enough to let use the leftover soda from the rehearsal dinner at the wedding (when we hadn’t requested soda at the wedding). We also had two guests with food allergies (gluten and dairy), Susan went out of her way to prepare a special meal for them both just based off of discussion we had at an initial meeting. Because my parents and I aren’t living in the same state, there was a lot of back and forth regarding final decisions – Susan was gracious enough to deal with all of our last minute requests before the final bill was due. In the end I was so happy to find out that her buffet style service would include her staff serving from the buffet line. I was very pleased that my guests didn’t have to serve themselves for the main course. Everything about Sweet Memories fit our styles perfectly – from the food options to the staff; at our first meeting we spent over 2 hours just chit-chatting with Susan! She is a wonderful person who loves what she does and it shows in her work. Her services are affordable without sacrificing quality. She even made my husband and I a plate with a little bit of everything to be able to take with us to the hotel post-wedding so that we could have a nice meal together after the hustle and bustle of the wedding day! So blessed she could be part of our big day.

I don't even know where to begin! Susan and her people were AMAZING!!! We had multiple cake tastings, and appointments places to figure out what would work best for us, and she was the only one to sit with us for an HOUR, and really take her time making sure we designed the cake of our dreams!!! From the taste and flavors, which by the way were the best, to every detail. It was perfect in every way. They were the most attentive and helpful people to work with. I highly recommend!!!!!!

Susan and her team at Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering have always done an excellent job for any event I have entrusted to them at my workplace...a 30th Anniversary Celebration for our nonprofit organization as well as several marketing events including a Marriage Celebration for Marriages of 40+ years, a High Tea, etc. Based on the consistency and quality of her food and customer service, I most recently hired her team to cater a meal for our extended family at my home after my mother's funeral. It was a blessing for us to be served instead of having to cook, clean up, etc. I highly recommend Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering to anyone looking for quality catering that you can trust.

Sweet Memories catered my daughter's wedding. The food was wonderful and healthy and the staff so professional and courteous. They served the bar drinks and let us provide the wine and beer. Susan and her staff are great!!! From day 1 Susan has been very helpful in helping us make our wedding day special. We had a crazy ice storm the day of our wedding and when all our other vendors cancelled sweet memories didnt let us down. They set everything up so well and the food was delicious. Susan is absolutely delightful and such a joy to work with! She did our wedding cake and catering for 200 people. She worked with our budget and made everything perfect! My husband and I met with two of Susan's employees today at a bridal show in lewisville. We have heard so much about her cakes and food. To our surprise the appetizer was to die for and the cake was the most moist cake We have ever tasted. To pay do much attention to a bridal show set up shows that every detail matters. The cake decorator does amazing work and the baker blew us away with the icing and how young he was! Definitely got a card and pricing because the others we've been to dont hold a candle!!!

I've used this company twice for specialty cakes. Once for my daughte'rs college graduation and recently for a bridal shower cake. Both times I showed them a picture of what I wanted and both times they delivered a spectacular cake! Especially the Bridal Shower cake in the shape of a Love Bird Cage. Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious as well. I received tons of compliments on it. I will continue to use Sweet Memories for special events in the future!

When I asked my photography for a recommendation for my wedding cake he said hands down, Sweet Memories. From the to very first meeting to the wedding day my expectations were exceeded. Susan was incredibly nice and obviously talented. She made us a wonderfully delicious and gorgeous cake! I was the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding, and she had her wedding cake and groom's cake made by Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering. While we were running around like chickens with our heads cut off the week before the wedding, one thing we had NO concerns with were the cakes. Sweet Memories took care of everything. They were so helpful. They let my friend personalize everything, right down to the specific ribbon and pearls she wanted on the wedding cake.

At the reception, the cakes were displayed beautifully, and they tasted divine. I would say if you are looking for a place that will make this part of the wedding planning budget-friendly and easy as pie, go with Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering.

The cake was the best cake I have ever had. I will use Sweet Memories for all future events. We had the caramel flavored cake and it was delicious. I got so many compliments and people ask me all the time where our cake was from. The grooms cake was actually the chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate covered strawberry on each one. I did get to have one, but I heard they were delicious. I was very happy with the way things turned out. They were both beautiful.

This company is incredible. The cake was fabulous! The food including shrimp cocktail, chicken with pasta and prime rib not only were a hit but so was the presentation. They also provided the bouquets that were unique, fresh and exactually what my daughter ordered. Susan and staff worked very hard to make this wedding a success--and it was! We used sweet memories for our wedding cake and chocolate covered strawberries. She designed my cake from scratch because I had no idea what I wanted. Great cake for the cost. They will make the cake in two layers with a cream filling at no extra cost. The weather was rainy the day of my wedding and the cake held up perfectly. No horror story about the cake falling over due to the humidity. I found Sweet Memories at the bridal show and drove an hour and a half to taste and pick out this cake because the flavor was so good.

After my wedding, I continue to use Sweet Memories for my two Daughters birthdays, and my husband and I's Anniversaries. My family and I also use them for out Christmas Party every year. The food is always amazing, and it's pretty affordable as well. I could not have found a better, or more professional bakery/caterer if I looked for two more years! You will not be disappointed!

My husband picked ou the whole cake. Flavor, colors, design. It was beautiful. We have bought birthday cakes, party cakes, wedding shower cakes, baby shower, everything from them. I love them more amd more as we use them. They will make you what ever you want. Our cake was outside in texas in Aug. Looked and tasted great even after the heat! My son had had 3D cakes of a fire truck, train, transformers, and many other amazing cakes. go look at the picture albums they have.

Oh my gosh I love Susan!! Sweet Memories provided the food for our reception, all of our flowers and centerpieces, and our cakes. Everything was absolutely exquisite! The first thing I saw were the flowers when her assistant came and delivered our bouquets and I was absolutely speechless! They were gorgeous!!!! The bouquets and centerpieces were amazing! The next part was the food for our reception...two carving stations, mashed potato martini bar, green beans with bacon, rolls and butter. Everything was delicious and fresh...my guests were raving about the food! Last but certainly not least...the cakes! Our cakes were absolutely beautiful. My husband has his degrees in and loves the theatre and I asked if there was any way I could have the theatre masks on his cake and she made it happen! She made the masks from fondant by hand and let them harden then put them on the cake. Truly wonderful service, very personable (all of my appointments ending up lasting about two hours because we just got to talking!), and very professional. Everything was taken care of and I never even had to worry about anything. I would recommend her to anyone!

My cake was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what I wanted. I had found a picture of a cake I liked on the internet and sent them a copy. They were able to duplicate it. And the taste was to die for. We picked an amaretto flavored cake with a butter cream icing. At the last minute (the day of the wedding) they called saying the icing would not sick to the cake due to the hot, July, Texas heat, so they asked if fondant would be ok. I said yes not wanting to deal with any wedding cake disasters... and they gave me the up grade on the icing for free being that it was not what I ordered, and the situation was out of everyone's control. I never would have known the difference if they did not call.

Overall Sweet Memories was a BARGAIN and I would recommend them to my friends. My family and I really hit it off with Susan at our first meeting. She will go to bat for you!

My flowers were beautiful and exactly what I asked for! I know Sweet Memories is known for cakes, but this really is a one stop shop. I got my cake, flowers, and rentals here, and my flowers were my favorite part! Gorgeous!

The rentals were also exactly what I asked for and really helped make the reception special. At our initial meeting when I asked for sliver satin chair covers Susan didn't have them, but she made one phone call and said they would be made!

My cake was beautiful and delicious, but not exactly what I wanted design-wise. I met with Susan 10 months before the wedding. She sketched up my idea at that time. Then, when I checked in about a month out, I forwarded her a picture of my dress because we had talked about matching the bottom of the dress it to the cake. Unfortunately, the rosettes on the cake were all uniform (not matching my dress) and the cake had rhinestones- something I had stated in my initial meeting that I didn't want. It's not a deal-breaker... I got plenty of complements on the cake... it just wasn't what I had in mind. A tip to all brides (for all vendors)- ask for a final sketch of the cake before it is made, especially if your first meeting with the vendor was a long time ago!

Other than that little hiccup everything else ran really smoothly- Susan even went step-by-step with my mom on how to freeze the top of the cake. :) I definitely recommend Sweet Memories.

Since our initial planning meeting, I knew that Susan Clark of Sweet Memories Cakes and Catering would be able to take care of us. She has books and books of her work in her bakery, which is a testament that your wedding and/or groomsmen cakes do not have to be limited by your imagination. Susan’s bakery can make just about anything. We also had interesting requests and she was more than accommodating to us. We decided to go with the sheet cake and faux tiers, which worked out well for us. Both the real tiers and the sheet cake were fresh and we received so many compliments on how good the different flavors taste. A pleasure to work with, you will not be disappointed working with her.

We were very pleased with everything we got from Susan. She spent alot of time with us on our design session, explaining all our choices, and helping us come up with a design that we were happy with. We also got to spend some time with Susan just learning about her business and her goals, and that was important to us. We LOVED our cake! After reading some really bad reviews on a few other sites (after I'd already ordered our cake from Susan) I was really panicked that our cake would be a disaster! However, the minute I saw it, I burst into tears, it was gorgeous! (and exactly what we ordered). The only drawback of the cake-shop is that their samples are tiny cubes of cake and little dollops of frosting that are really difficult to taste (it's nice to have a cupcake or real slice of cake to get the full flavor and texture) apparently we picked well though, because the cake tasted amazing. The cake was pretty pricey for buttercream, and I'd recommend ordering fewer slices than you think you'll need, we ordered one slice per guest, and ended up with the top tier AND the middle left! (not that I complained one bit the next morning when I ate it for breakfast...yum!)

Our cake turned out beautiful and delicious. We had a 4 layer cake with 3 different flavors, amaretto (which was my favorite), white, and strawberry (which all my guest said was the best). They were on time and the cake looked beautiful.

It was a little pricey in my opinion but for what we got it was a good value.

The cakes we ordered for our wedding we exactly what we represented to us and were amazing. Everyone at the wedding was amazed at the creation of the cakes and how they turned out. We did spend a lot of money on these though, they were pretty pricy but in the end it turned out amazing.

The cake was gorgeous and beautiful. We were very happy with Susan and the cake. We just wanted one cake, but really wanted chocolate. Susan came up with the idea of putting 2 different flavors in each layer which was perfect. We chose a chocolate and pink champagne flavor. Both were yummy. The cake was alot of cake. In fact, we had gotten an extra sheet cake from them (same flavors as the wedding cake) that we kept in the kitchen for extra servings. Didn't even get into it. My parents figured out that it freezes well - they've had cake for months. We were very happy with everything with the cake.

I remember my cake being amazing. They even matched the design from my purse, onto the cake! I was so impressed, and my cake was a hit. They arranged everything, and I never had to worry about a thing. The grooms cake was great as well, the chocolate covered strawberries are always great.

Delicious and beautiful cake

We did an initial consultation/tasting/down payment to book our wedding date in 2020, we then postponed our wedding date to 2022. Susan was very flexible in changing the date . Also the cake was delicious, many guests enjoyed the cake. We had some cake left over afterward and our families were asking for some of it. We chose a crème brulee buttercream frosting which was the perfect sweetness , my husband and I don't like American Buttercream due to it is sweet and overpowers cakes. She has unique delicious flavors , traditional flavors, and will even customize cake flavors as well. We had the autumn bliss, caramel , and pandan (requested flavor by us) and it was great!!! She even gave tips on how to preserve our top layer for our 1 year anniversary. The flavors with the frosting complimented each other. The cake also looked beautiful and just as we discussed/ imagined it. The only reason I give a lower review is due the her responsiveness and organization . It took a while for her to respond to our emails and voicemails left at her business phone . Also , her organization of her events booked doesn't appear to be as organized due to we had to remind her in one of our emails that we had already booked her for our wedding and we were not new customers. I just wish she could have had others assist her in both organization and responsiveness to make the process go more smoothly. We understood since it was a long time since we seen her and we were able to make an appointment with her to confirm all the details 2 weeks before our wedding. In the end, she was reliable and timely on our wedding day and the cake was both beautiful and delicious !!!

Susan is definitely one of the sweetest women I've met in my wedding planning adventure!! We went in for a cake testing and found ourselves chatting for a good couple of hours determining what we wanted and the vision for our wedding cake. We drew up what we wanted and were told to E-mail her some photos of what we wanted our grooms cake to look like as she was unfamiliar with the subject matter.

A few weeks before the wedding I made a final payment, but was unable to speak to Susan. Ok, fine. I then sent her the e-mails she'd requested and called to ask if she'd received them. I was told that she was busy and would call me back. She never did. I did not ever hear from her or the company concerning the cakes. I didn't hear from them the week before, or the day of my wedding. I simply had to assume that everything was probably okay.

The day of my wedding I was panicking because I had no idea the status of the cakes and whether she ever even received my e-mail. Turns out the cakes were delivered perfectly fine, to every standard that I would expect from a professional baker. I just wish their communication was a little more on par. The cakes were both delicious, with my husband swearing it was the best cheesecake he's ever had.

I had an initial consultation with Susan and she is very sweet, but loves to talk! Make sure you have a lot of time set aside. I think our initial consultation and tasting was like 3 hours long. The cakes tasted wonderful. I did a dessert only reception (no dinner) and booked 3 cakes with her (10" each) and then did the "dessert bar" she offers. I chose mini chocolate mousse martinis, mini NY cheesecake, french macaroons and chocolate petit fours. I unfortunately did not get to taste any of these at the reception other than the small sliver of cake my husband and I cut. She assured me that this would be enough for 75 people and requested that I place two 6' services tables back to back so that it would be a big square table. This made the desserts look minuscule and I wish i had not done that. The cakes were exactly what I wanted and gorgeous - ivory, champagne, gold, etc. I just did not like the way they were set up on the table nor did I think it was enough for 75 people. The price was not bad, but again, I don't think it was enough for 75 people.

This place got a lot of hype and it "the cake place" in the Fort Worth area. It is definitely great cake, but very pricey. We had a much smalled cake than originally planned because of the cost. However, the cake was beautiful and so tasty! I would also warn that if you have a wedding on a Sunday, she charges double for delivery, which is totally against the grain for wedding vendors. Most give you a discount for Sunday weddings!

It appeared that on the date we selected her business must have overbooked. Things went fine but there was no communication on the day of our wedding. Flowers, cake and candles were dropped off without any communication with the bride. Bridesmaid bouquets were not as expected. We were promised that they would set up table decorations but they left them for the country club to do. It caused them to run behind wh I ch delayed our reception.

The cake was delicious and pretty - the outside was done exactly as I had asked. Unfortunately, one of the flavors I asked for (almond) was replaced with regular white cake. Also note, they will charge 5% to pay with a credit card over the phone. I also ordered flowers from Sweet Memories, since I only wanted bouquets and boutonnieres - I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. The flowers were just wrong. I asked for burgundy mums and got red carnations. Since my bridesmaids were wearing wine colored dresses, the flowers clashed horribly. The succulents that were chosen were a greenish hue rather than blue-ish so it all looked very Christmas-y. Not what I was going for, which was known because I provided pictures. When I brought this to Susan's attention, she said that the mums they ordered were in bad shape. This could have been true (even though they were in season) but regardless - since I had placed my order more than 8 months in advance, I expected them to have the correct flowers on hand.

Overall the service of the wedding was great, but pros and cons are below.
Pros: Table settings looked great!
Contracted bartenders were awesome!
Guests liked the big portions.
Plates of food and cake to go were nice.
Cons: Brought wrong colored napkins after addressing it in a prior discussion about the invoice.
Invoice was never correct, math would be incorrect and details not updated correctly like color of napkins even though she assured us it was in her notes. Try using an excel sheet so it can do the math for you with formulas.
Snapped at me the day of my wedding when I was trying to give the bartender the recipe for the cocktails.
Cake was cut from the top down when I was expecting the entire bottom layer to be enjoyed by guests. Instead one of my guests had to insist to Susan to even cut the bottom layer for her to try! We almost had the entire bottom layer of cake to take home which was disappointing to me. Our cake was different flavors throughout and I was expecting all of the layers to be cut.
She is not flexible on quantities as she would not let us say how many gallons of mixers we wanted so we decided to provide them ourselves.
Her prices are outrageous for the simplest things. We decided to provide all that we could.
She insisted that we mail her a check, which we did once she finally submitted a corrected invoice, but it didn't arrive before the wedding so she emailed demanding that she have a check or credit card in hand by the time she arrived at the venue or she would not serve. First of all, she was the one that wanted the check in the mail even though we offered to simply hand the check to her the day of since it was so close. This whole drama she presented THE DAY OF THE WEDDING was completely unnecessary and only gave me stress. Thankfully our planner helped to take care of it.
We did not appreciate the rudeness from Susan! She was rude to my guest, to my planner and even me! My husband and I do not recommend Sweet Memories.

I helped my brother with his wedding.

1.) The couple wanted royal blue batter for the wedding cake, and some layers were teal. There was no communication from her when the color did turn out to be what was requested.
2.) The groom wanted a white X-box for a groom's cake. She made it black.
3.) Please, brides, if you care anything about how your flowers look on the day of the wedding, do not let her talk you into painting color on the tips of white roses. They looked trashy.
4.) There was no toss bouquet. Imagine our surprise when we went to line up for the bouquet toss, and the bride had to throw her own bouquet. Ridiculous.
5.) The bride's "something borrowed" was a small bible, borrowed from the groom's family. We asked during the final meeting to modify the design of the bride's bouquet to incorporate the bible in the middle. This wasn't done at all. The bride was missing her borrowed item.

When consulted about these discrepancies, her response was that she spent more time with us than the typical wedding. That's true. We made three separate 40-minute drives for HER BENEFIT so that we could show her other elements of the wedding and discuss in-person the changes being made. That way we could see the notes she wrote and confirm our agreement. She said that it was all she could do to "keep up with the changes." Wow.

Susan with Sweet Memories is a very sweet lady and they have a great business however we did not receive the cake that we initially ordered. We requested a damask print cake and showed Susan a cake that she had just done with the exact print we wanted and she said she could do that for our wedding cake. But when we got the cake at our wedding it was not what we requested and what we were promised. She stated she didn't have a picture attached to our file which I do not feel was our responsibility since she had a cake to take a picture of and simply attach it to our order.

Susan & her staff were just wonderful to work with concerning our wedding cake (we also used them as our caterer, but see the catering review). I opted to go with two flavors, traditional white & italian cream with buttercream frosting. We had a false bottom layer in order to give the cake height. We also had both round & square tiers to give the cake a bit of dimension. Decoration was very simple, with decorated icing that resembled lace topped with a string of pearls. The taste was fabulous & just what I remembered from the tasting, moist & decandent. All of our guests had second & thirds including myself & we still had lots of cake left over the next day.

With the quality of cake that was served, I was expecting the same for the menu. We were both severely disappointed, especially since we paid over $3K for services. We would have received better quality food from Subway than what we paid for with Susan & her staff. During our initial meeting with them, they quoted us certain prices on each item of food & linens. I was under the assumption that they would honor those prices, however I was disappointed yet again. Each phone call and visit to finalize the menu and guest head count led to an increase in prices on everything (ie. sparkling cider toast, bottled water, coffee, a disposable dishes & utensils & most of all the food). It was frustrating in crunching the numbers and not coming up the same totaled amounts & having to deal with their crazy schedule (since their bread-n-butter is being a bakery & not a catering service). The linen count for the number of tables were off & we ended up paying the difference in over $200 in linens that we ended up not using. We paid over $200 in disposable plates & utensils (all utensils including: spoons, forks & knives), we only received the plates & forks, no knives were presented to our guests in order to properly cut their BBQ beef brisket. We were under the assumption that the brisket was to a carving station, as stated in their pricing packet, however the meat was pre-carved & served in thick portions for our guests to tear apart with their fingers. It was ghastly & we were HORRIFIED!

I have never done this before, but feel I have to share. Tasting samples were extremely small. My daughter wanted to move forward, I was still unsure. After making deposit on wedding cake and groomsmen's cupcakes, we requested a sample for cupcakes several days later of chocolate with p/b frosting. We were all extremely disappointed. Dark chocolate flavor and p/b was mixed into the cake not made as the frosting. We went with another bakery and ended up with some out-of-this-world, dynamite cupcakes. I called to let Sweet Memories know about the change. As the wedding approached, I called to pay my remaining balance. The cupcakes had not been removed. I asked for an adjusted bill, but did not receive it. I called again and paid the final bill over the phone but never rec'd anything. After not hearing from anyone again, I called the morning of the wedding to confirm the 5:30 delivery. Everything was confirmed. At 4:30 we arrived to set up the reception hall for the 7 p.m. wedding...5:30 no cake...6:30 no cake...6:50 no cake! My church friends who had volunteered to set up for the reception frantically contacted the venue coordinator. The wedding was about to begin, so she was unable to place the call. No one knew if there would be a cake when we cake out of the reception. Fortunately there was! (I was protected from all of this information until after the wedding, thank goodness) My family agreed that the cake did not taste fresh and we received no compliments on it . We didn't even eat the leftovers. I was pretty upset, but knew all that ultimately mattered was that there was a cake when we arrived at the reception. Several days later, I contacted Sweet Memories. I was not given an explanation for what happened, I never received a phone call from the owner, and if I could remove the gratuity that she so graciously gave herself on the front end, I would. We were not pleased at all and would not be able to recommend this vendor to anyone based on our experience.

Sweet memories was the only regret of our wedding. Susan (the owner) pushed us in the direction that she wanted us to take, the portions were TINY, the chicken was dry, the food was cold, the cake tasted awful, and she nickel and dimed us every chance she got. Ten days before our wedding, we were supposed to set up a final meeting with Susan to go over all final details, and her staff said she was "too busy!" We had to call three times before they finally allowed us a phone call with her. The only plus was that our flowers turned out beautifully.

Very hard to get in contact with the owner after the initial visit. I had to go up to the location again to pay for the final bill because they were so unorganized on the phone and could not find my invoice. I asked for a square three tier cake - the number one thing I asked for - and I received a three tier round cake. Very disappointing. The guy that delivered the cake was rude, did not know what was going on, the chocolate strawberries fell on my table linens causing stains that my cordinator had to fix in the last two hours before the wedding. When questioned about the cake and why it was round instead of square and where the flowers were supposed to be placed he was clueless. I should have listened to the other reviews on Yelp that said stay away from this vendor. On a good note the bride's cake was delicious and my guest loved it. The grooms cake was dry and blah.

Terribly unsatisfied

Update: got an email from her and this is what she said. I sent her two pictures of the slip!
“Im sorry for you frustration. We always share with our clients our hours for saturday as it is posted on our store windows, web page and phone message. We also contact our clients on saturdays as a friendly reminder by 9am. Regarding their cake pickup. Im not sure that you had an order with us. However, i hope all was well and hope to see you in the future.”

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Go. Somewhere. Else.

Where do I begin?! We had our consult July 17th 2019! She talked a lot about how she got to be where she was, and how “successful” she has become. Her award winning food and desserts. YET Here it is, my wedding day and time for me to pick up my cupcakes... no phone call, nothing! I call her and she or anyone for that matter did not pick up. I left a message. Nothing back yet. I also sent an email too because well my wedding is at four we were going to pick them up around 1p. Her message on the voicemail said Saturday pick up is until 10am... WHAT she did it tell us any of that NOR has she called me to say anything about picking them up!!!!! I also sent her an email too!!!
Not only that but she took our $10 to taste her cakes too!!! Won’t be getting that back!

My fiancé is going to pick them up now hoping that they are going in and out of the shop to catch them so we can get our cupcakes!
It is a shame that her cupcakes tasted good. This is terrible. Please do as I usually do and check reviews, this time I just wet for something without checking myresources and review... this is what I get. Never again!!!!!

I would truly rate this place less than one star. I went in for a cake. I specifically told the owner I did not want anything with fondant on it. She insisted, I again explained that I wanted nothing to do with fondant and did not want it on my cake. She continually said that her fondant is fantastic compared to anybody else's in the industry. I again told her I do not want fondant on my cake, she proceeded to have her staff put fondant on the cake for decoration and charged extra for it. The cake horrible and inedible. This useless owner shows complete disregard for what her clients want.

The outcome of my cake? Well, each piece had a bite or two taken out of it then tossed in the trash. I noticed all the uneaten pieces and asked for true opinions, everyone gave resounding words of disappointment. Again I tasted it and could not believe what they charged for it. This has to be the worst cake I have ever had, it was dry, hard and tasteless. The icing looked good but tasted like Crisco. Strange, it was suppose to be an almond buttercream. Dry cake, greasy icing, no taste.

The owner is all talk and zero delivery. I waited over 25 minutes while ordering. The most telling thing about the owner is how she bulldozed her potential customers. While waiting, I could overhear the arrogance of the owner while speaking with wedding clients. She insisted that she knew best and has everything together when it comes to weddings. Well it is no surprise to see the bad reviews here on Yelp. She also told a story about how she was rude to a brides grandparents because they simply wanted a cupcake, yet she had little compassion for the elderly couple. She didn't even realize how offensive her story sounded This owner does not provide a decent product, and she lacks candor to be dealing with customers. WARNING! If you want your wedding to go well choose someone else.

I was extremely unhappy with our cake. She put the wrong color frosting on our cake. The fondant bands on our cake had cut marks and finger print dents in them. The cakes icing had dark pink spots all over the cake. I cannot believe the owner was not embarrassed to send the cake out. I even took a picture of it and wrote to her about it. I even paid more for the butter creme frosting than the fondant. I never heard back from not a sorry or anything VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I would not recommend this bakery at all!!!

My wedding cake never showed up on my wedding day. Afte several phone calls and messagesshe finally answers and had no idea who I was. She said she would bring out cupcakes and a regular cake I can only assume she got at Walmart. Very low quality. I had to walk down the aisle with my makeup quickly redone after some stress tears leaked out. I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of a service that is so important. Never again. And no apology.
