Melissa her family and all her staff are extremely professional. They made sure our day was perfect and everything went smoothly. Everyone was so nice and made sure all our needs were met throughout the day and the whole wedding planning process they go above and beyond. Sweet Meadow is absolutely breathtaking my daughter's pictures are stunning. The barn is so pretty on the inside and the grounds are just beautiful everywhere you look! -

My wife and I had our wedding and reception at Sweet Meadow Farm and Homeplace, and it couldn't have turned out more wonderful! The venue is stunning and incredibly well decorated. We received so many comments from our guests throughout the night on how beautiful the venue looked. Rosemary was fantastic in her role as our venue coordinator. Her and her team did an outstanding job taking care of all the details and keeping things running smoothly throughout the night. We could not be more happy with our choice of where to have our wedding and highly recommend Sweet Meadow Farm to be your magical place of saying I do. -

I was BLOWN AWAY by not only how beautiful and stunning this venue is but also by Melanie's customer service. She is as genuine as it gets and you can tell she truly cares and loves the work she does. My fiancé and I had a long list of venues to choose from for our wedding, but once we saw this venue and met Melanie, we ended up canceling all of our other tours. This venue checks all the boxes for us and we can't wait to get married here next year. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.

Sweet Meadow Wedding Review
There aren't enough words I could type to do Sweet Meadow justice. My husband and I got married there in June, and choosing it as our venue was the BEST DECISION EVER. As soon as I drove down the path to the venue, I truly was stunned. Sweet Meadow is breathtaking. The lake, the swaying grass, the flowers, the horses in the distance, the rolling hills- all make it one of the most peaceful places I will ever go to in my life. Not to mention, the Farmhouse & the barn are cozy & perfectly decorated. I left my first visit with a beautiful little marigold plant that they gave me...the decision of which venue to choose was the easiest decision of the whole wedding. Through planning, Melanie and Don are extremely thoughtful, helpful, and are happy to answer any questions or concerns promptly. The portal they use for communication is also extremely easy to use. Melanie and Don are happy to give recommendations about vendors, but overall they truly do give you the freedom to plan your dream day the way you envision it. Also, they assign you a day of coordinator to meet with you about a month before the wedding to go over all of the details. Rosemary was my day of coordinator and she truly is the best EVER. She called every single one of my vendors the week before the wedding, was there during our rehersal, & our wedding day making sure everything was flowing flawlessly. She did more "behind the scenes" work than I can even imagine & we could not have had the perfect day that we had without her. Me (being the bride) and the groom didn't have a worry in the world on the day of the wedding because we knew that Rosemary, Melanie, Don & the rest of the staff were making sure everything was in place. An example of this is when it was a torential downpour right before our ceremony. I walked out (covered by an adorable umbrella) to get to the ceremony...thats when I see Melanie drenched from the rain as she is drying off the golfcart for me to sit on. It just made me realize in that moment how appreciative I was because they truly all worked so hard they were working to make sure that my husband & I would get the most special day no matter what. Sweet Meadow also went above & beyond to set up the reception space in the most dreamy way possible- some of my favorite pictures to look back on are just the ones of Sweet Meadow itself. I highly recommend Sweet Meadow for your wedding- there is no doubt that you will make memories there with those you love that you will cherish for a lifetime!!! -

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is for a barn wedding. The setting is gorgeous with multiple outdoor ceremony sites from which to choose. They even have a lovely "chapel" in the barn loft available, if needed, in the case of rain. The barn (reception site) is filled with tasteful decor everywhere you look and even the restrooms at the barn are thoughtfully outfitted. The farmhouse, which houses the bride's room and the groom's room, is also beautiful with every need of the bridal party anticipated and provided.
The owners (Don and Melanie) as well as every member of their staff are customer focused and wonderful to work with from start to finish.
I highly recommend this venue to any bride who wants a beautiful barn wedding. -

Jennifer Sent on 03/23/2018I had an absolutely amazing experience at Sweet Meadow and with the entire staff! The "slow wedding movement" that Sweet Meadow advertises could not be more accurate! I felt completely stress-free the day of my wedding. The staff was so amazing and helpful the day of - I didn't ever have to worry about a thing. You get so much out of your contract with Sweet Meadow, and every penny that you spend is 100% worth it! It was so easy to communicate with Melanie, the day-of coordinator, and the rest of the Sweet Meadow team through their online portal. I was able to get feedback and responses to my questions very quickly - day or night, pretty much! I felt very much taken care of, which was a huge support because my mother and bridesmaids all live in a different states. Even though weddings happen at Sweet Meadow all the time, the day was made to feel SO special. I never once felt like I was going through a "wedding mill" or like my wedding was just like every other person's that has been there before. I cannot rave enough about Sweet Meadow - it was truly my dream venue and my dream wedding. Not only is the venue itself gorgeous, but the rolling hills, lake, and little details all come together to make it a very, very special place to get married. The venue itself is one of the most important pieces to your wedding, and I can confidently say that Sweet Meadow will never disappoint!

We got married at Sweet Meadow in April of 2017 and could not have been happier with our choice! This place is truly gorgeous. Melanie, Jessica, and crew were the absolute best. They include day-of coordination, lunch for the bridal party, decor items you can pick yourself, tables and chairs for up to 150 guests, adorable bride and groom suites, etc. They have a stunning original barn (that is absolutely gorgeous inside), a lovely always decorated loft for an indoor ceremony, several beautiful places for an outdoor ceremony (we chose out by the pond). For the reception you can do inside the barn, a tent, or under the stars in the courtyard under their pretty cafe lights (which we did). I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you go for an appointment you won't be disappointed!! -

The venue is beautiful and exactly what I dreamed of for my wedding day. My wedding coordinator, Stephanie was awesome and went above and beyond for me. She was so kind, helpful, and focused! She made sure everything I envisioned was fulfilled. However, I am not pleased with the few interactions I had with the owner, Melanie. She was quite cold and opinionated about everything. She is not a pleasant person to work with. She is very blunt and doesn’t care what you want if she doesn’t approve of it. They also penny pinch you for so many things as the day gets closer when you’re already spending so much for the venue. Her husband, Don, was very pleasant to work with. He was very flexible and kind. I want to recommend this venue but it’s hard because I’m not sure the beauty of the facility outweighs the hassle it is to deal with Melanie. When you’re in the wedding business, you should aim to make things fun and exciting for your brides. I dreaded reaching out to her every single time. -

BRIDE AND GROOM BEWARE!!!!!!!!
Initially we had plans to wed at Sweet Meadows, after some change of heart and serious consideration the big wedding wasn't what we wanted. We paid our deposit in December and canceled our event in early May 6 1/2 months before our original scheduled date. It took us over a month to get a cancellation contract! Also in the Sweet Meadows contract make sure you read everything!!!! They have no cancellation agreement. Nothing that protects you as a client. Nothing but twisted verbiage and made up lies along the way. Anything you have paid will be lost!!!!!!!! Thousands of dollars were lost on this place. Not just a simple deposit which we expected. But everything. Even if there is plenty of time to re-book. Melanie not once picked up the phone to contact us. Everything was handled through Don. Who is pleasant, but unfortunately it is obvious who calls the shots. Melanie. A conversation with Don about getting what we have spent towards our date would go well, then we would receive emails stating we would not receive anything back. Some of the reasons we were told they cannot pay back what is owed is it costs too much to give tours, about a hundred dollars each time the venue is show. Might I add when we came to visit Sweet Meadows it was set up for ANOTHER WEDDING! So no cleaning or preparation would've taken place to show us the venue... it was also raining... and we waited to be shown the venue because the staff was late. Oh! but don't be late! Melanie will text you to make sure you are on time because her time (not yours) is valuable! Also while visiting the venue it was asked what the cancellation policy is and Rosemary replied you will be refunded except for the deposit (which is expected for any event space). The staff is not aware of any of the policies at this venue!!! It's not their fault, it's all made up as they go anyways. Melanie wouldn't survive without the kindness from her staff. That is the only way this place survives. And that is also the only way I could get her to respond to any emails, and forget phone calls. If you are going to manipulate people out of money you could at least pick up a phone and have a decent conversation. Overall this venue practices terrible business. I work in the event industry and caterers don't even want to work with her!!!! Please take my advice and stay away!!!!!!!! Let my loss be a lesson learned to all newly engaged couples!!!!!!! Even months later i still receive email requests for payment after the cancellation contract was signed. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICE, I cannot stress enough to newly engaged couples. Don't waste your time driving out to this venue.
