Stop shopping for another pastry chef and hire Sweet Lisa’s immediately!

I have known Sweet Lisa’s for years - Lisa and her team have created several birthday cakes for me over the years for monumental celebrations and they always are gorgeous, so detailed and over-the-moon-delicious that everyone fights over the leftovers! When it came time to hire a pastry chef for our wedding cake, this was one decision that did not involve any shopping around!

Even during the COVID times, the cupcake sampler that Lisa has put together to try out the different flavors of cake and frosting at home was a fun, at-home, date-night activity that we had a blast trying! Everything from the initial point of contact to the delivery was easy with her - she communicates in a timely manner, is energetic, upbeat and has creative ideas. We had combed through her social media channels and sent a few cake ideas, so once we decided on flavors, were good to go!

The cake was delivered on-time to the venue and just as beautiful as we had pictured it would be….working with our florist to add the floral embellishments, it could not have been more perfect. Of course, even after a cocktail hour and full four-course dinner, everyone LOVED the cake and were paying compliments to the pastry chef.

Stop your shopping around now for a pastry chef for your next birthday party, wedding or other celebration - Lisa and her team are the only game in town and you will NOT be disappointed!

Can't wait to use Sweet Lisa's for another event!

Sweet Lisa's created the most delicious cake for my wedding! First, the design was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Second, she was able to make each tier a different flavor! Great for the differing taste buds of the bride and groom, and awesome options for the guests! We did chocolate cake with oreo filling, vanilla cake with raspberry filling and carrot cake with cream cheese filling. Each was absolutely delicious and I got a TON of compliments. A few days later, I brought left overs to the office, and my co-workers were raving about how delicious it was, 4 days later!!! Can't wait to for another occasion to use Sweet Lisa's services again! Also, Lisa was super sweet and great to work with. Our cake tasting was so comfortable and enjoyable and Lisa was so accommodating!!

Lovely bakery, beautiful cakes

Although we didn't end up hiring Sweet Lisa's for our cake (we went with my parents' favorite local Italian bakery which was wonderful) I wanted to write a review for Sweet Lisa's since they were so lovely to us and their cakes are so beautiful. Sweet Lisa's is super low pressure - unlike a lot of wedding vendors who try to pressure you to sign a contract today and put down a deposit asap, Lisa was very relaxed, showed us lots of options, and let us take our time deciding. The samples we tasted were delicious, and the sample cakes we saw were beautiful. It didn't end up being the right fit for us, but I would without hesitation recommend them to anyone looking for a lovely wedding cake in a warm and welcoming environment.

Our venue sent us to Sweet Lisa's for our wedding, but I'm glad they did. Sweet Lisa's is an adorable little home bakery. My husband and I had the same goal; to design a wedding cake that was non-traditional that our guests would actually want to eat! Sweet Lisa's had such a variety of options that it made this possible. We ended up with a 4 tier cake, with 2 different styles: Funfetti cake with Oreo cream frosting and Chocolate Chiffon cake with Reese's cream frosting for the other. The result was epic. Asides from the insides being perfect, the outside was beautiful and included cascading flowers from our florist to match our colors. I can't wait to eat a piece on our anniversary in a year!

Lisa is incredibly sweet and easy to work with. Lisa was able to make my dreams come true by making a chocolate, funfetti, salted caramel and cookie dough filled cake. Everyone kept saying this was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted!

Lisa IS the sweetest! The vision for our cake was brought to life on our wedding day. Lisa understood exactly what we were going for. The cake was delicious. We chose Lisa to do our wedding cake because of her cookies we tasted at a bridal expo. We loved the cookies so much we made them our wedding favor and they were a hit! We got to make a custom cookie with our names and wedding date on it. Everyone loved them.

We aren’t particularly fond of cake, but after going to a short tasting at Sweet Lisa’s we were extremely excited for our wedding cake. They were very easy to work with, and after the selection they were able to take care of everything else with the venue so we didn’t have to do any further coordination. The cake that they delivered on our wedding day was absolutely stunning and delicious! We highly recommend Sweet Lisa's to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding cake!

We loved working with Lisa for our wedding cake! She was lovely to chat with for our cake consultation, and she worked with us really closely to help us pick cake flavors and designs we liked. For our actual wedding cake, she helped us design a beautiful 4-tier cake with alternating flavors that was a HUGE hit with our wedding guests. The cake was beautiful, and most importantly, it was one of the best-tasting wedding cakes (both flavors!) I've ever had.

Lisa and her team created the most beautiful wedding cake for our wedding! She also made a surprise grooms cake for my husband, a 3D beer bottle, with the label of his favorite beer- that cake was a huge hit at the wedding, and both cakes tasted as good as they looked!! Everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious (and beautiful) our cakes were!

Our cake was the talk of the wedding! Soon after getting engaged, we found a picture of our dream cake and Sweet Lisa's made it happen! The cake required extensive sugar work and it looked great! Everyone said it was the most delicious wedding cake they had ever had. We didn't have an opportunity to eat much so we are ordering a mini-wedding cake to enjoy on our one month anniversary. The people at Sweet Lisa's were wonderful to work with and took away all potential anxiety of such an important aspect of the reception. If you are looking for a delicious, memorable and beautiful cake, definitely make an appointment to see them!

Sweet Lisa's Exquisite Cakes is a very professional and classy boutique. During our wedding tasting meeting Lisa who attended us was very hands on and attentive to our needs. She recommended cake flavors that went well together with certain fillings etc. I gave her a picture of a wedding cake design I had seen before to see if they could accommodate my need in the design, and they did. The final product came out beautiful and elegant which is what we wanted the theme of our wedding to be. All our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and delicious our cake was. You sometimes hear stories and see the stereotypical scenes in films where planning a wedding is agonizing. They always show the couple cake tasting and things get very complicated from that point on.

Lets just say it was nothing like that with Lisa. My wife and I knew we wanted a simple yet elegant cake that was as delicious as it was beautiful. Lisa made the whole process as seamless, gratifying and delicious as possible. The cake came out perfectly and even 3 weeks after our wedding we are still getting compliments and questions about it.

We couldn't be any happier with our decision! Go with Sweet Lisa's and you will not regret it!

The cake was absolutely delicious, and for the quality, the price was not bad at all. I am a food snob and although my wedding budget was tiny, I was glad I went for the best with the cake. It was so good I didn't save the top part - I ate it the next day!!

I can't thank Lisa and Steve enough for the most memorable wedding cake a girl could ask for! Not only was the cake delicious, but it was also stunning. They make the entire selection process easy. When you schedule an appointment, they will prepare a few delicious flavors for you to try and provide you with a substantial slideshow showcasing a variety of options for your big day. My parents, husband and I tried a number of well known bakeries but were blown away by the quality of Sweet Lisa's cakes. None of the other bakeries came close with the level of service or quality of product. Sweet Lisa's doesn't just make cakes, they make a work of art. If you are looking to impress your guests, don't look any further. This is the right vendor for you! My guests are still discussing my cake an entire month later!!!

The COOLEST wedding cake EVER! They did a custom Snitch (Harry Potter) cake with our two last names (one on each wing) on the wings! It was not only AMAZING looking, but delicious too!!! The price was OUTSTANDING for what they did as well! Thanks for all you did!

Sweet Lisa helped make my wedding cake, bridal shower cake, rehearsal dinner cake and wedding desserts a big hit. There expansive menu helps make wedding cake more delicious and less predictable. The cakes perfect decorations matched the taste. Many cake places put all effort in appearance, Sweet Lisa's cakes are both beautiful and delicious. Highly recommend either the red velvet or heath bar crunch with espresso creme in white cake. Everyone looked the bride and groom decorated cake pops that we placed on the dessert table. Every employee is kind and helpful.

We used sweet lisa's for our wedding cake and for cookies that went in our welcome bags. The cookies were ADORABLE and the cake was PERFECT. We had a very specific look in mind for the cake, and they captured it perfectly, including gorgeous sugar peonies. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it also was delicious! We would absolutely choose them again.

My cake brought tears to my eyes and I am not a sappy person didn't even cry during the wedding ceremony! It took my breath away beyond gorgeous it looked like a cake on the cover of a wedding magazine! The guest still talk about how amazing it tasted and were did i get it because they need to get more! Sweet Lisa's was amazing - the cake design was perfect and it tasted delicious. We had the chocolate ganache and raspberry flavors and our guests raved about both. They were so easy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.

Lisa is an artist. She designed a personalized cake for my daughter's wedding, as my daughter explained to her what she would like. the cake flavors were delicious and the design was executed beautifully and professionally.

Sweet Lisa's makes the best cakes! I worked with Steve for my wedding and was very happy with my interactions with Steve and the outcome of the cake. Steve is very creative - our cake looked amazing!! I highly recommend Sweet Lisa's!

A cake from Sweet Lisa's was included in our venue package, but we could NOT have been happier with them! The cake was delicious - my husband and I went in not wanting to have fondant on our cake, because it is often not tasty, but Sweet Lisa's is incredible! The cake was beautifully decorated with sugar flowers that were delicate and realistic, and coordinated perfectly with our wedding design and colors. If you are looking for a delicious AND beautiful cake, you definitely want one from Sweet Lisa's!

This was the best cake I have ever had. We met with Steve initially to design the cake as well as try their cakes which was a lot of fun. We chose the carrot cake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. It was to die for! I can't wait for my anniversary so I can eat the top of the cake. Totally worth every penny!

Sweet Lisa's actually did a Groom's Cake for me, which I gave to my groom on the night of our rehearsal dinner... and it was UN-BE-LIEVE-ABLE !!! I wanted them to create a Chipotle burrito bowl, and it looked JUST LIKE IT... the detailing that they did made it look so realistic... and my groom loved it. Not only that, one of the groomsmen twittered it to Chipotle, and we got free coupons, how funny! Even corporate loved the photos...

The owner was so awesome and accommodating, paid so much attention to detail. I love that they just took my idea and made it a reality. AWESOME.... but still pretty expensive for cake ;o)

So at first it was a bit hard to get in touch with them. I left several messages before they called me back. There store is a must see....you just wanna live there! The display cakes are awesome!! They took the time to design the cake with me....it was exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding however they failed to put a base under my cake. the base gives the cake elegance and height. My cake ended looking so small. Now...I don't know if that was their fault or the venues fault. I don't know who was responsible to do that. Sweet Lisa's was quick to refund me the money for the base. Oh...and how can I forget....it tasted soooo good!!!!

Wonderful cake !

We worked with this vendor through Tarrytown house. Really enjoyed our cake at the wedding😍 they also provide a fun tasting kit too.
