Our overall experience was phenomenal, in our opinion we received celebrity treatment. Imagine meeting an artist and cake master all in one. Mrs. Lori was responsive, courteous and well prepared at all times. At our cake tasting, there were a plethora of flavors and options along with a cold glass of water to wash all of the deliciousness down. The ambience was warm and inviting. After seeing all of the wonderful prototype cake arrangements, we trusted her judgment and gave her full autonomy in our cake design. We developed a relationship with Mrs. Lori and will forever hold her near and dear to our hearts, we gave her a Wedding invitation along with first look at our the Wedding sign which we made ourselves. Can you believe she found a way to incorporate it into the cake. A complete Masterpiece!! We Love Our Cake!! It tastes amazing, we keep taking slices out of the freezer to eat and each slice tastes as wonderful as the first!!! We highly recommend her for anything cake and art related. Her cakes of art are second to none! -

Everything was absolutely perfect!
Lori and her husband did an absolute FANTASTIC JOB!!!! I spoke to several different vendors but none of them would make the custom S’mores cake that I wanted until I found Sweet It Is! The cake was so beautiful I almost didn’t want to eat it, but it was soooo delicious. Definitely use them for your special event!!! -

Amazing Wedding Cake Experience
10/10 working with Lori for our wedding cake. The whole experience was 5 stars. From the tasting, to quality, to responsiveness. Lori was so awesome in working with us to get our wedding cake dreams. Not only did our 5 tier cake look amazing but the taste was so delicious! So many compliments from our wedding guests. Would recommend again and again! -

Best Wedding Cake Vendor!
Our initial wedding cake vendor backed out on us a month before our wedding. To say we were devastated would be an understatement! We didn’t know how we would find a great caterer for our 240 person guest count at such short notice. Luckily, our wedding planner referred us to Lori with Sweet It Is. After explaining our situation, she offered us the opportunity to work with her even though it was a very busy time of year for her. I truly appreciated her professional and empathy for us! We had a wonderful taste testing which resulted in us moving forward with her and she was very accommodating in regards to choice of pairing between cake and icing. I showed her my photo “inspiration” of what I wanted the outside to look like and she executed it perfectly! Sweet It Is, is a great vendor choice for your wedding! -

A Cake To Remember!
It hasn't been a month since our wedding and I'm so tempted to thaw out our saved anniversary top tier!
Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful & delicious to top it off the night. It moist and flavorful!

Amazing overall experience!! My husband and I were able to choose multiple cake flavors for each tier, along with choosing our own topper to save and eat to celebrate our anniversary. The cake tasting was the best experience and we felt like royalty and cannot recommend Lori enough! -

Sweet on Sweet It Is
Lori and Calvin were so personable and sweet. My husband and I connected with them instantly during our tasting. The combination of the amazing samples, fillings, and laughter immediately made me cancel my upcoming tastings with other bakeries.
The cake was both beautiful and DELECTABLE!!! Every single tier! It was a hit with our guests. We had intended to save our top tier, but it was taking up too much room in the freezer. So we decided to only save a few slices to eat on our anniversary (we're sentimental like that). Per our request, Lori blessed us with an anniversary top tier which was equally as scrumptious as the original. We ended up traveling and having an accident with the anniversary tier and Lori saved us by providing another cake. Thanks again Lori!
The cakes from Sweet It Is are as flavorful as they are exquisite. Yet, they won't nickel and dime you. In fact, Lori is quick to offer insight on where you can save on your cake design. Book a tasting and your tastebuds won't be disappointed! -

Wedding Cakes
I can not say enough to express how great Sweet It Is cakes are. Not only are they beautiful they taste amazing. From start to finsh they have some of the best service in the industry. 3 days post our wedding we are still eating left over cake and it's still good and moist. I would advise you call and book immediately!!! You will be sad if you dont!!!! -

Words cannot express how much they helped me out. The person I had originally hired to do my cake, canceled 1 month before my wedding and I contacted Sweet It Is immediately, got a response within 5 minutes, and hired them in just a few minutes of talking. It was super last minute and they were so flexible with me! On my wedding day, a winter storm hit, making the roads extremely dangerous full of snow and ice but that didn't stop them from delivering the most beautiful cake I've ever seen and the yummiest I've ever tasted! My caterer didn't show up on my wedding day, we had to eat pizza, but you best believe everyone had their bellies full of cake! Sweet It Is was literally a life saver, I can never thank them enough. -

Their personalities were as amazing as the cakes were! it was so hard to pick a flavor because everything was so yummy!
The artistry of their designs are phenomenal. Our guest all loved the cake. It was simple, but elegant just how I envisioned and showed Lori.

Not only was the cake delicious but service was incredible. Lori was so easy to work with and goes the extra mile. I met Lori at a bridal show. After I sampled her cakes, I knew she was the person I wanted to make our wedding cake. We didn’t get to have a traditional cake tasting due to COVID-19 but Lori made us a sample to-go package. The flavors are very unique and delicious! It was so hard to choose but we decided on Amaretto cake with Baileys icing and Butterscotch cake with Hennessy icing. We ordered a 2 tier cake that could have served 40 people. We only had 15 guests at our wedding and the cake was gone in 2 days! Everyone raved about how amazing it was and they all took cake home. The next day, people were calling me to see if there was any cake was left lol. Needless to say, we’ll have to order another cake for our 1st anniversary. Thanks again Lori and Calvin! -

My husband and I decided we wanted to do a dessert buffet and searched high and low for a good baker who would be able to provide the different range of desserts we wanted. Finally we found Sweet It Is! and fell in love with the menu offerings. Then we actually got to taste the products! Lori and Calvin were hospitable and friendly. They made the tasting process smooth and I never once felt pressured to commit or not be honest. After trying several different types of cakes and frostings and going over what kind of desserts we wanted, we were very happy to put down our deposit.
Fast forward to closer to the wedding. Any time we had a question or concern, they were quick to reply. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly and I was so excited to see the final display of desserts and our cutting cake. Everything tasted amazing and the guests couldn't stop gushing over it all.
We were very pleased with everything and glad we went with Sweet It Is! for our wedding!
If you happen to get cake pops - I recommend the red velvet with cream cheese frosting...they were the hit of the party (we had leftovers cause we never changed our final guest count but the cake pops were long gone before the reception was over!) -

We had a wonderful experience! We were able to design the absolute dream cake that was exactly what I asked for. Just look at these photos!!! Not only did they hit my design perfectly but they were also able to do unique different flavors for each layer!! Lori and Calvin are THE BEST!
My husband and I tried several bakeries and cake samples at bridal shows during our planning process. Sweet It Is! was the uncontested standout in a sea of cakes that were just "okay." We chose a different delicious flavor for each of our four tiers, and each one was incredible! Lori and Calvin were amazing to work with, start to finish. They are incredibly talented and wonderful humans. I cannot recommend them enough! -

It's sweet to work with people who love what they do. Lori and her husband are awesome. She worked with my clients on an April 2019 wedding and guests are still talking about how good the sweets were. Lori is super easy to work with - and her sweets are delicious. My only complaint is I'm sure I gained 5lbs with how many pies I nibbled on. She's a master at cakes and smaller desserts. Do yourself a favor and invest in both. Highly recommend!!! -

Lori was amazing, her cake was amazing, and our wedding guests loved it so much we did not even get a piece!! Luckily we were able to taste a small piece for our cake cutting and we saved the top layer so I am already looking forward to our year anniversary. She also provided us with a dessert bar that included, cupcakes, cookies, chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries. It was all beautiful and clearly delicious because none was left!!! Lori and her husband are absolutely amazing at what they do. When I first got engaged I already knew the bakery I was using and it was not Sweet it is.... that was until I met them at a bridal show and tasted their cakes... I completely forgot about the other bakery I was using because they did not even compare to what I had just experienced ( and this was a well known highly rated bakery) not to put anyone down, but I never thought I would have changed my mind on this! They were fabulous from the beginning - so easy to talk to, professional and treated me and my family as priority - just an amazing couple! My cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better than it looked - they went beyond what I expected - Their cake gave a lot of sunshine to my rainy day wedding. Try them you will not be disappointed!! I will definitely use them again in the future for special occasions to those mile stone birthdays- just amazing! I love sweetitis
Our cake was amazing! First let me say my husband swore he did NOT like buttercream icing and he is not the biggest fan of strawberry flavor. At the cake tasting..I picked strawberry flavor and buttercream icing (lol). After we cake the cake and I fed him the top layer which was strawberry, he absolutely LOVED it. Everyone at our wedding asked for another slice and complained we weren’t cutting them bug enough (we were they just loved the cake that much!).
It was really a blessing to meet Lori and Calvin. They were so welcoming from the first phone conversation to the tasting to the very end. I really enjoyed doing business with them and I hope they can ship cake to Colorado lol I’ll need it when we decide to have kids. Thanks for everything!! -

Moore Cake Please!
I came across Sweet It Is at a bridal show and I was wowed by the rich flavoring in their cakes. After tasting so many bland and dry cakes from other vendors I knew this was going to be my cake vendor. I tasted the champagne, amaretto and lemon cake. Two of them had strawberry filling wirh cream cheese icing/fondant. The other had lemon icing. I fell in love with the cakes. The designs of the model cakes were also unique and beautiful. At the time I was newly engaged and it was my first bridal show so I didn’t book on the spot. Down the line I reached out to Sweet It Is on wedding wire and Mrs. Lori’s response was very fast. Professionalism, knowledge and clear communication was very imperative to me when choosing vendors and they exceeded my expectations. Fast forward to the cake tasting... I was able to bring my fiancé and parents and the set up was very organized. Mrs. Lori and Mr. Calvin was very personable and made us feel like family. On top of their wonderful personalities; the cakes were phenomenal. We signed our contract right then and there and I honestly didn’t look anywhere else. That was the easy part. The hard part for us was selecting our cake flavors because they were all delicious. At the time we were undecided about having a dessert bar and marked it as tbd. Closer to the wedding we were still indecisive about the dessert bar and asked Mrs. Lori if we could add an extra layer to the cake instead of the dessert bar and she was very accommodating. My fiancé has fallen in love with the sweet potato cake and wanted to add a layer of it on the cake. When he was reassured it would happen he was very ecstatic. We also wanted to change our cake design to a geometric cake we were inspired by on Pinterest. Mrs. Lori was very helpful in guiding us throughout the process and working with us to have the cake of our dreams. Overall I would recommend Sweet It Is to anyone who is in need of any type of cake. Mrs. Lori and Mr. Calvin have a passion for their custom cakes and go above and beyond to meet the needs of their client. I could never thank them enough and my guests loved the cake. I will be using them for all of my custom cake services in the near future.

Delicious with fresh ingredients!
Sweet It Is came as the dessert vendor for an all inclusive package with my venue and I could not be more delighted that it did! Their service was incredible and their desserts were absolutely delicious. We decided to go with the dessert bar which included cake pops, cheesecake squares, brownies, cookies, and a 6" cutting cake. I received countless compliments on how good the dessert was (especially the cake pops - to die for). Lori was always extremely helpful and professional. Their desserts are made from real ingredients, and you can tell. Everything they make is decadent and fresh! Lori was willing to work with me to provide a rustic dessert bar set up and rustic cake. I could not be happier with the service from Sweet It Is! -

Perfect cake and cupcakes!
Lori & Calvin are so sweet and so amazing! Everything went perfectly smooth and the dessert was absolutely amazing!!! They had so many options and we got to do 4 different cupcake flavors! Everyone loved them!!! -

From the time we met with Lori in her home to taste the amazing assortment of cake and icing flavors, we were sold! Sweet It Is is professional, flexible, creative, and has great value. Having difficulty choosing which flavors you want because they are all delicious is a great problem to have. We got the groom's cake and our wedding cake from Sweet It Is and we could not be happier with them. We were aiming for something on the simpler side that pulled in our flowers for a more elegant touch, and Lori managed it spectacularly! I was so in love with the look of the cake, and the taste was out of this world! So happy with the work we received and we will definitely be using Sweet It Is in the future!
