We didn’t fully know what to expect while planning an out-of-state wedding, but Sweet Hearts Patisserie helped to make the experience a great one.
Whether we were speaking via email or over the phone, Sweet Hearts Patisserie was very responsive and helped our vision come to life. The cake and s’mores selections at our wedding were huge hits! Everything looked incredible and tasted amazing!

Tiki-Themed Wedding Cake
We had a smaller, mostly DIY wedding but decided we wanted to splurge on a big, beautiful, delicious cake and Sweet Hearts Patisserie was just the place to pull that off for us! Working with Ashley and Kristen was great and they helped deliver the perfect cake and macarons! So many people asked us where the cake came from because it was so tasty! Just a warning to other couples out there - if you want a darker blue cake, it will turn your mouth blue so maybe pick a lighter color, but we thought it was hilarious and will make for a few silly pictures and definitely added a few good laughs!

Sweet Hearts Patisserie was awesome to work with! I specifically worked with Ashley and she was fantastic, but I had a great experience with everyone there. The cake is DELICIOUS! I am a big cake person and the flavors they have to choose from are amazing, and the icing isn't overly sweet - it is very light and smooth. We did a to-go cake tasting from a few different places and this one was by far the best! Highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious!
Desserts are one of my favorite things in life so my husband decided the dessert selection would be mostly up to me. We went for a tasting here and he said ok we found the place, there are no other options! Besides being delicious, there was a vast selection to pick from for our dessert bar so that we would have something for everyone. In addition, throughout the whole process, Ashley, was super responsive and was able to address any questions we had. 100% recommend

Exactly what we wanted for our wedding cake!
The cake we received for our wedding was exactly as discussed - and tasted just as good as we remembered it being during our tasting. The staff was incredibly responsive and professional in helping guide all of our decisions along the way. Can't recommend this cute little bakery enough!

Cutest Bakery!
My (now) husband and I were looking for a bakery for our wedding and we knew this was the place as soon as we entered the shop! The tasting experience was so fun and the desserts are absolutely delicious. Ashley (the GM) was very responsive to my emails and any questions I had. They came to set up the dessert table on time and displayed everything so nicely. 11/10 recommend Sweet Hearts Patisserie!

Best wedding cake, cupcakes, and cookies EVER!!
We used Sweet Hearts for our wedding at the CBBC and could not be more pleased! Ashley was super easy to work with and very professional and responsive with our questions via both email and calls. We did a wedding cake, cupcakes, and crab cookie party favors for our wedding and Ashley and team took care of everything from delivery, set up, and packaging! They even provided little cupcake boxes for guests (and us) to take home any leftovers! Everything turned out perfect and presentation was BEAUTIFUL! Everyone raved about all the sweets, and we barely had any left over from everyone loving it! Beautiful AND Delicious!
My husband and I knew this bakery was the one for us right after our tasting with them. Ashley was so helpful and took the time to go through all of our options with us, and the desserts were DELICIOUS! We had a full dessert table spread with a 3-tier cake, macarons, s'mores bars, and petit fours, and all anyone could talk about was how beautiful and tasty our desserts were. We also had cake pops as our favors and not a single one was left by the end of the night. She nailed my vision for the cake and provided all the rentals needed to give the display the wow factor. We can't wait to have more cake on our 1st anniversary!

Incredible Desserts Table
Ashley and her team at Sweet Hearts Patisserie were incredible. We ended up hiring them within a month of our wedding date because our original vendor had to cancel due to a family emergency. Ashley was extremely responsive and professional, and we were able to get in for a tasting right away! We ended up with a desserts table for about 160 guests instead of a traditional cake, and they were some of the best wedding desserts I've ever had. We had five different flavors of french macarons, four different flavors of petit fours, 4 different cupcakes, lemon bars, and 2 different cake pops. Everything was an absolute HIT. And Sweet Hearts is very reasonably priced, much cheaper than our original vendor was going to be. I highly recommend Ashley and her team at Sweet Hearts Patisserie for any wedding desserts needs!

I can't say enough how much we appreciate everything Ashley and her team did to help make our day special. After planning (and re planning) a COVID wedding a few times, we reached out to Sweet Hearts Patisserie only a few weeks before our date. I can’t recommend Sweet Hearts Patisserie enough!! We hired them for our wedding cake and, not even being much of a cake person, I was trusting their expertise and advice with the very little information I gave them - they did an unbelievable job and made the entire process so easy! From scheduling the tasting and being very accommodating for any additional tasting as my fiancé couldn’t be there, to me simply sending an email of how I wanted the cake to look and it was SPOT ON!!, to the delivery which they already knew every detail before even discussing it with them and sending me options of cake stands at no additional cost - honestly this was one of the best experiences throughout our vendor process! Very quick to respond, experts at what they do, delicious AND pretty products, very professional and made this process so easy, yet perfect!! Highly, highly recommended!!
3 weeks after the wedding we also bought cake pops from them for a baby shower!! Several guests that had attended my wedding not only commented on the amazing wedding cake, but were also standing by the dessert table at the shower to grab an extra pop if any were left over! Absolutely delicious!!

Super cute wedding cake
My husband and I were married in August 2020 after having to postpone due to the pandemic. Our original wedding date was in April 2020. Ashley gets extra points for flexibility! I was so relieved that Sweet Hearts Patisserie was available on our new date. After the cake tasting and booking their services in 2018, I knew our wedding cake was in good hands. The bakers are so talented. Our two-tiered, raspberry vanilla cake was a hit.

I did wedding cake taste tests at four different Annapolis bakeries. Sweet Hearts and Caroline's Cakes were the best. Sweet Hearts was a little pricier, but offered flexibility in cake decoration, delivery and presentation. Beautiful, delicious cake!
For an alternative to a traditional tiered wedding cake, Sweet Hearts offers a tower of petit fours. They are extraordinary! Everyone can have a bite-sized piece (or two) of their favorite flavor, and they don't have to wait for the caterers to deconstruct the cake in the kitchen.

I would first like to apologize for the lateness in this review, but with current events, I'm sure everyone's lives have been topsy-turvy as of late.
When we were first meeting with bakers, my husband and I knew that we wanted a cake to complement our dinner menu. We wanted something simple in decoration on the outside but delicious on the inside. Ashley and her team we're incredible to work with from first meeting all the way up until they delivered the cake to our venue.
Seven months later and some of our guests are still talking about our cake. If that isn't a testament to their work then I don't know what is.

We are extremely pleased with Sweet Hearts Patisserie! They understood the vision for our wedding cake from our first meeting. Great communication and extremely responsive. The tasting was a lot of fun and very helpful. They have many options and flavors to choose from, and are willing to help you create something entirely your own. We felt confident every step of the way. Sweet Hearts Patisserie really cares about the details. The quality of design and taste was top notch! Guests are still raving about our wedding cake!! Thank you for our wedding cake. Staff was very enjoyable to work with! I knew the cake would be at AYC as ordered and right on time! The flowered were added by our florist and it was delicious and just perfect!
