Amazing to work with and gorgeous, delicious creations
Amanda and Rachel at Sweet Fix delivered above and beyond all my expectations. They were easy to work with, communicative, and receptive to my vision for my cake. I have celiac and needed a gluten-free cake, and was worried because I didn't get to taste the cake before we served it since we live out of town. However, the cake was beautiful, the frosting and cake were both absolutely delicious, not too sweet, not bland, just right, moist and delicious. And the macarons they made for us were gorgeous and tasty. We received so many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend Sweet Fix - If you are debating, just go for it.

All the guests loved!
We booked sweet fix for our wedding and our guest have raved about how great the cupcakes were! We booked them for a two tier cake and cupcakes for all the guest. They were able to help us pick out our flavors by combining our personal favorite flavors as well as what guests tend to enjoy the most! They are amazing and everything tastes soo good! They were very accommodating to our allergies as well. One of my bridesmaids and her mom have celiac disease and the gluten free cupcakes they made for them were amazing!

We used Sweet Fix for my daughter's wedding last week and there wasn't a crumb left on the dessert table! The treats were flying off the display and everyone commented on how great they were. So order more than you think you need, we pared down so we wouldn't have a lot of leftovers but if I hadn't snagged a few to put away for the newlywed's they wouldn't have had any! Everything was wonderful and the wedding cake was amazing! We couldn't have been more pleased as it is hard to find a bakery that does GF wedding cake that doesn't taste like cardboard - we only did the top in GF but honestly no one would have known. Thier service and skill is unparalleled.

Awesome dessert table options
We used Sweet Fix to put together a dessert table for our reception since my husband and I do not like cake. They offered several types of desserts and flavor options for us to choose from, and were very helpful in figuring out how many desserts we should have for our guest count. We opted for fruit tarts and a few mini cupcakes. Sweet Fix set up the desserts on decorative stands and platters for us on the day of the wedding. We did not have them take down the display after the reception, but were able to return the materials in their supplied boxes. We heard nothing but rave reviews for all the desserts!

Sweet Fix really lives up to its name!
Aside from the fact that our cake was both gorgeous and DELICIOUS, the bakers and coordinators at Sweet Fix were super accommodating, kind, and communicative. We had to plan our wedding from out of state, but they were flexible with our virtual chats and were incredibly helpful with scheduling our tastings and coordinating the set up for the big day. We are both still dreaming about that champagne cake and strawberry buttercream and cannot wait to revisit it on our first anniversary!!

Amazing Customer Service and Delicious Cakes
Sweet Fix was a great choice for my wedding cakes and I am so glad I went with them. First, the cakes were delicious. I got so many compliments. Also, they were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. They were also amazing to deal with. I went back and forth a few times on when I wanted to pick them up and they were extremely accommodating and patient. They were also willing to add some last minute design changes and were great with bouncing ideas off. Thank you for being so patient and great!

Best custom cake and desserts!
Amanda and Rachel were the best in helping my husband and I decide what we wanted for our cake and our guests. They walked us through each step, were highly communicative, responsive, and patient. They took the time to explain all things cake that were possible and not. And our guests raved about the quality of goods at our dessert table. We ordered 100 cake pops, 50 chocolate chip cookies, and 50 cannoli's and by the end of the night, nothing was left over. If I make it up to Richmond again, I will stop by Sweet Fix bakery and say hi!

Sweet Fix's cakes are super delicious and we couldn't be happier with how our wedding cake turned out. The team is super responsive, professional, friendly and easy to work with. The tasting experience was nice and they were flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding twice due to the pandemic. The cake looked exactly how we pictured and we got several compliments on how delicious the cake tasted. I've been to plenty of weddings where the cake felt like an afterthought or just a box to check, but Sweet Fix's cake helped make our reception even more special. I'd definitely recommend Sweet Fix for your wedding or special event!

So, SO delicious!
Amanda and the team at Sweet Fix knocked it out of the park! I honestly was not sure how many of our guests would eat dessert after the dinner reception meal but not long after we cut the cake our caterers came up to us and told us that if we wanted to have any of our other desserts we needed to rush because our guests were LOVING them so much but they were almost all gone because they were so tasty! We decided to do a cutting cake (carrot cake plus biscotti cookie buttercream icing which I STILL think about regularly), cupcakes, mini pie tarts and an assortment of macarons. They were all so delicious and beautifully decorated, works of art almost! Amanda and her team had platter rentals that we utilized that matched our theme/decor and they came in and set-up the entire dessert display which looked awesome. Their team was a pleasure to work with, we loved all of our desserts and so did our friends and family!

Communication with the Sweet Fix team was a breeze—they were super responsive and accommodating to all our requests. Both of our wedding cakes were gluten-free and they were so tasty that nobody knew. All their flavors taste unique and their buttercreams have the perfect amount of sweetness, unlike some other places we tried. 100% Recommend Sweet Fix!
We are so pleased to have chosen Sweet Fix to create the cake for our September 2020 wedding! Not only was the owner Amanda very personable, communicative, and easy to work with, the cake itself looked beautiful and tasted amazing. We wanted something simple and elegant in appearance, to allow for our florist to decorate with the same florals we used throughout the venue - the end result was perfect and exactly what we had in mind. We also appreciated the extensive flavor options, as well as the ability to set up multiple take-home tastings after the initial meeting at the bakery.
One last note/rave - we originally had our wedding scheduled for April 2020, which had to be postponed due to COVID. Amanda was so understanding and flexible - she worked with us and our event coordinator to accommodate our new date without any issues. We are so grateful to have worked with such a fantastic team of vendors - we 100% recommend Sweet Fix, not only for the delicious/beautiful cake, but for the professionalism!

Elegant and Delicious Wedding Cake!
A wedding cake is one of the most fun parts when planning your wedding! We wanted a cake that represented us as a couple and also had little details highlighting both of our unique personalities and obviously a cake that tastes amazing! Amanda and her team were able to do this with ease! Even though our cake was so unique to us, with our anime and Harry Potter twists, Amanda and her team reassured us that this was right up their ally. Sweet fix was able to capture my husband and I on a cake. When guests saw our cake they all knew, “yup that’s Mitch and Lauren’s cake”. Even with all our personal touches and details Amanda still made our cake look elegant wedding cake! As much as we loved the aesthetics of the cake, it still need to taste incredible. Sweet fix has a variety of flavors and fun combinations we could choose for our cake. They made us an incredible cake with each tier featuring a different combination of flavors. Our guests could not get enough of that cake, and neither could we!! We’re so grateful to Amanda and the sweet fix team for what they did for us!!

Sweet Fix crafted a masterful, elegant cake for our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and incredibly delicious. Amanda was prompt with designs and envisioned the perfect cake without us providing very much detail. We feel confident she could have created anything we asked for. She was an absolute professional and her communication was friendly and efficient. And we still dream about that cake. We decided to book her right after our tasting because we had so much fun with her and she whipped up some tasty frosting concoctions on the fly. We absolutely loved working with Sweet Fix! We ordered two different kinds of cupcakes, chocolate mousse shooters, and key lime pie tarts for our wedding, and everything was absolutely delicious! We did a tasting of the cupcake flavors prior to ordering them, which was very helpful and allowed us to try a large assortment of flavor combinations. Amanda was a joy to work with - she helped us incorporate our favorite flavors and always responded quickly to emails. Sweet Fix is THE place to choose for your wedding desserts! My wife and I got married during the summer of 2019 in Richmond and tried so many dessert bakeries that I was running on a sugar high! None of the places that we visited were the perfect combo of amazing flavors and beautiful craftsmanship until we met Amanda at Sweet Fix!
She is truly an artist both aesthetically and in the kitchen. All of our desserts were gorgeous and delicious. The wedding cake was beautiful and so tasty that I could have eaten the entire thing!

Still dreaming of our wedding cake!
Sweet Fix was phenomenal! They did a 5 tier traditional wedding cake with buttercream icing. We did 2 different combinations: chocolate cake with Oreo buttercream and lemon cake with blackberry buttercream. They were incredible! Everyone raved about how moist and flavorful our cakes were without being overly sweet. We got a box for our anniversary tier but about 2 days later couldn't resist eating it; it was THAT good! Now our new plan is to get a small anniversary cake when the time comes. Hire Sweet Fix; you won't regret it!

The most talented team with the best cake ever!
Sweet Fix was amazing to work with!! They did a wedding cake, groom's cake, and stadium cake for us all in the same weekend and every one of them was perfect. They were show stoppers at both the rehearsal dinner and wedding, and people are still talking about them. They also have the most amazing cake flavors and icing. We had such a hard time deciding after our cake tasting because they were all so good! I'm also gluten free, and they were able to make a GF tier for the cake cutting (big win). Amanda and her team are phenomenal! The cake was even more beautiful (and tastier!) than I imagined. Sweet Fix offers some really unique cake/frosting pairings - definitely listen to their suggestions because we ended up with some fantastic flavor pairings. Their suggestion of having a kitchen cake saved us a lot of money and we even had leftovers at the end of the night for guests to take home!

Perfect Centerpieces for our Dessert Display
Our Sweet Fix Bakery cakes were a perfect center pieces at our wedding reception! We were married at a venue outside of Richmond and wanted to keep the vendors of the wedding local to the area, enter Sweet Fix. Sweet Fix was so easy to work with. They email through an online system which can be a pain sometimes, but the staff were so prompt in response and executed my vision without me even meeting them! We cake tasted via the pickup option, cupcakes to go in flavor combinations we chose. All the flavors were delicious. We did 3 single tier cakes, each decorate with buttercream in different ways. They turned out FLAWLESS. The Sweet Fix staff also added some florals on provided by our florist and made the cakes look even better, truly pieces of art. The cakes tasted amazing, moist and fluffy with bold flavors. I wish we lived in Richmond to visit Sweet Fix regularly! We could not be more impressed or pleased with Sweet Fix and are so happy they were a part of our day.

Incredible design, flavor, and quality
I fell in love with Sweet Fix over instagram over their diverse design abilities, which was only solidified after our first tasting. Their flavors are sensational, with a wide range of options to suit any taste bud. I went into it thinking I had to have one flavor but ordered another due to how delicious everything was, which is always a treat. I was sick of attending weddings where the cake was pretty enough but the flavor was lacking, and to this day people comment how good all of our cakes were, including the GF one. And the design, oh man. The sugar work on the florals were absolutely stunning, not many realized they were sugar and not real. Incredible attention to detail, easy to work with, professional, and responsive. Thank you for helping make my wedding perfect!

Can’t go wrong with Amanda and Sweet Fix for your wedding cake needs! I could seriously eat the pistachio and maple buttercream or buttermilk spice with orange-vanilla every day for the rest of my life. On top of that Amanda designs beautiful cakes and makes delicious cannoli. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for at our consultation meeting, and she drew the cake of our dreams in like 5 mins. On the wedding day, it was exactly as she drew it all those months ago. And the cannoli she made as a second dessert was delicious (I wish we could have kept some more.) She's also professional and responsive throughout the whole process.

Amazing options for anti-cake brides
Sweet fix was the best! I loved that they came and set everything up on their platters. It was one less thing that we had to worry about. The fluffy, creative macaroons were gone in minutes! Everything tasted and looked amazing. They were easy to communicate with and their booking/messaging system was really smart. I was even able to set up automatic payments so I wouldn't forget as it got closer to the wedding. I highly recommend Sweet Fix for big and small events!

I loved working with Amanda. She was able to take a few photos that I gave her and make a stunning cake! It perfectly fit what I was looking for, and even exceeded my expectations. If you want the best cake in Richmond you HAVE TO MEET AMANDA! I interviewed a lot of bakeries, and nothing compared to working with Sweet Fix. If I could give them 100 Stars I would. I had a Game of Thrones themed wedding and wanted a cake that fit a 'royal wedding'. Not only did it taste delicious, but the design that she came up with made my jaw drop in awe of the artistic talent. Truly, I cannot thank Amanda/Sweet Fix enough for creating my perfect wedding cake. And since a picture says 1000 words, please see the attached picture of her creation(Mike Topham Photography). The griffin and the falcon were our 'house sigils' (for those of you who are GOT fans). I'm not sure I'll wait the full year to taste that anniversary cake again, but I will try!

Sweet Fix made my wedding cake and it was DELICIOUS and also beautiful. They have so many flavor options that you can choose from to mix up cake flavors, icing, and even filling for each tier. Meeting with Amanda was so helpful to design my dream cake and to taste different flavor combinations. They are able to do more decorative patterns than I even knew of. Not only are their cakes nice to look at but good to eat. We had guests asking if there was extra for them to take home. The cake was not cheap, but it was definitely high quality. For me, it was worth it!

Amanda at Sweet Fix is a true artist. Her creativity and passion is a pleasure to work with. She made the entire experience so much fun without any stress. She did everything I had imagined and more. The best part, was the cake was a true work of art, but it tasted even better than it looked. Everyone said it was by far the most delicious cake they have ever had! We couldn’t have been happier!

My wedding guests went crazy over the cake Sweet Fix made for my wedding! It was a gorgeous geode themed cake and it was perfect! They also provided mini desserts and macaroons for my reception which everyone raved about! Amanda at Sweet Fix was so helpful at bringing my dream wedding cake to life and the flavors are TO DIE FOR!! We chose a lavender and champagne cake which all of our guests loved! They also delivered the cake and mini desserts to our venue and set up the cutest display table for everything!
I will absolutely use them again in future for my cake and dessert and needs!

Sweet fix is amazing! They did our wedding cake and the final product was stunning (and so delicious). They were very great in helping us decide what direction we wanted to go with the design, and what they created was really a work of art. Always very responsive to emails. Wish I lived closer so I could take advantage of their retail products!

Amanda and her team at Sweet Fix are rockstars! I was able to give very minimal design information and general ideas of cake styles I liked and Amanda was able to return a sketch of the design with different concepts that she pulled from various aspects of the wedding. We had them create our cake as well as a styled dessert bar with a variety of options for our guests to enjoy! Everything was a hit visually and tasted awesome too! We were not able to get into town for a tasting since we planned our wedding from out of town. We were able to trust that whatever was created would be wonderful and we were correct. Thank you Amanda and team for the awesome and delicious creations!

This was our last cake tasting and it should have been our first. We loved the first, and only, design Amanda sent us after our tasting. The cake and icing flavors are delicious, fresh and not overly sweet. We can't wait to pull out our anniversary tier next year.

My husband and I got married on October 29th, 2016 and Sweet Fix made our wedding cake and Groom's cake; it was fantastic! Everyone at our reception raved about how delicious the cakes were and they were gluten free! The team at Sweet Fix is awesome to work with and I would recommend them for any occasion! We had a three tier cake with alternating flavors and a red velvet groom's cake - it was amazing! The best part is that you don't have to save the top tier - they give you a discount on your anniversary cake!

The cake was delicious! We didn't really have anything too crazy in mind, but we alternated the tier flavors with red velvet and lavender honey, which turned out great. Can't wait to pull out the top tier next November!

We were so pleased with Amanda and Sweet Fix!! Sweet Fix provided our wedding cake as well as a dessert table of assorted cupcakes. From our first meeting with Amanda, we knew we were in good hands. She took the time to get to know us personally and what we were interested in. Our tasting was nothing short of fantastic - it was so hard to choose among the yummy flavor combinations, since they were all so good! On the day of our wedding, the cake was delivered and set up right on schedule - as well as the cupcake assortment. Everything looked perfect and tasted amazing. I give an enthusiastic 5-star rating for Sweet Fix... Highly recommend!

OMG they provided not only the tastiest wedding and groom's cake, but their craftsmanship was outstanding. I had them make a cod groom's cake for my marine biologist husband....people walked by it and thought two things...one that it was real and two that it was a talking mounted fish. They truly did impeccable work!

Amanda and her team created the most amazing cakes. My kids wanted their cakes to look like a stack of novels and two stacks of comic books. Our guests not even realize they were cakes because they were SO realistic! One guest said, "They even taste amazing!"

DELICIOUS!!!! The lavender cake and honey icing is amazing. Everything from presentation to taste to delivering what they promised was great. They were able to deliver a wonderful cake and worked with us as the bride has a gluten allergy so we could have some of the cake gluten free and the rest as regular cake. We will definitely use them again for birthday's and special occasions.

I could not have been happier with Amanda and Sweet Fix (unless I was able to eat more cake)! Amanda was kind, patient, understanding and flexible during the wedding planning process. When I was indecisive, she helped guide me to what would taste good together and what combinations to stay away from. We had Amanda make a 4-tiered wedding cake and a groom's cake in the shape of a guitar. The cake was gorgeous--Amanda is a true artist. She was able to use extra flowers from the florist to create the most beautiful wedding cake I have ever seen. But as a bonus, it tasted delicious! Some of the best cake I have ever had! I would highly recommend Sweet Fix to everyone.

MOST AMAZING CAKE FLAVORS EVER! Since we are not big cake people or even sweets we both loved Amanda's cakes and desserts! Her cake was light and not that sweet and the buttercream was heavenly! We loved our cake it was beautiful and delicious! We also had a dessert table and hands down her macarons were delicious! Everything was amazing! My husband is sad that he totally forgot about eating the cake and desserts on our wedding day. It was amazing working with Amanda! Instead of a wedding cake my daughter dreamed of French Macarons. I cannot emphasize how much of a deal this baker is. The "tasting" cupcakes she sent me home with lasted about 5 seconds. With our cake, each layer was a different flavor combo and I couldn't possibly pick a favorite. Then there was the cake itself. We wanted a Lord of the Rings themed cake, and Amanda designed the most unbelievable cake you could even imagine. Everyone loved it, and my only regret is that people loved the cake SO much that we didn't get to keep any for our anniversary. Definitely go with this bakery for your cake needs. Worth every penny and more.

Amanda at Sweet Fix is so amazing and talented! She met with my fiance and me and we talked about the theme of our wedding, things we liked and things we didn't like. Within a few days she had come up with a sketch of a cake using the details from our conversation. I instantly fell in love with the sketch and then I fell in love all over again on our wedding day when I saw the cake! It was exactly what I had envisioned and tasted as amazing as it looked! We got so many compliments on the cake from all of our guests as well! I also got a groom's cake that was served at our rehearsal dinner that was equally as amazing. Amanda is a true artist and wonderful baker, you won't be disappointed!

Their icing is out of this world, delicious and so light. Honestly, I had never had macaroons before and they made green apple ones for us, and they were out of this world. She went above and beyond to get all of the ingredients and accommodated all of my requests. The cake was magnificent. My husband & I only did one cake tasting before our wedding. We were sold right away. Sweet Fix delivers a wonderful product. I feel like so often cakes for special events look pretty but just taste super sugary. Sweet Fix cakes and desserts look beautiful and taste great too! Their desserts taste fresh and delicious.
Amanda understood what we wanted for our wedding. Our dessert table was absolutely perfect and just as I dreamed of. I felt like she really listened to us during our initial tasting and consultation.
She has a list of flavor combinations, but you can mix and match frostings, batters and fillings for any combinations that you want. You can also customize how much you want for your event, just the cakes or a full dessert table design. We were on a budget, but Amanda helped us still get what we wanted for our big day.
Amanda is very warm and professional. I no longer live in the area so I had to plan the wedding from another state and she was quick to respond to my emails and work with me from afar.
I would recommend Sweet Fix to anyone planning a special event. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I worked with the owner, Amanda. We met with Amanda at her location in the Fan. She was so personable and easy to have a conversation with. She gave us a back story on Sweet Fix and by the time we left we actually felt like we had known her for a while. The tasting was SO yummy. The amount of cake you get to taste and the flavors really allow for you to get a good idea as to what you are looking for. I gave Amanda an overall idea as to what I wanted; she took that idea and ran with it. She did an absolute AMAZING job with our wedding cake. It was beautiful and I have gotten nothing but compliments on the cake (taste and design). We are very excited for our one year anniversary mostly because we get to eat more of the delicious cake! I would definitely recommend Sweet Fix!!!!

Sweet Fix made our rehearsal and wedding cake and I have to say they were the best tasting cakes we have had. The quality of the work was outstanding. Amanda is very talented and creative. Our Moroccan inspired wedding cake design turned out so beautiful, our guests were raving about the beauty and the taste! Amanda was so sweet to work with and really captured what we wanted in the cake. She also made french macaroons that were placed in small vintage bowls (rented from Sweet Fix) and placed on each table, they were delicious and decorated our tables beautifully. Our guests really enjoyed this treat. We highly recommend Sweet Fix! Thank you so much for an amazing job!

Working with Amanda at Sweet Fix was great. First, the products tasted amazing. Our guests thought so, too, and we should have ordered more. Amanda prepared a 6 inch cutting cake for us-heavenly coconut- and a dessert table of mini cupcakes, tartlets, and mousse shooters. Considering that we had a second vendor providing an on-site popsicle cart (which was also popular), we thought there would certainly be plenty to go around. But, the dessert table was devoured. Everyone wanted to try everything and had a good time doing it. Amanda's products definitely played a sizeable role in the happy celebration of our event. My suggestion would be to over order a bit so you'll have leftovers to enjoy after your event.

Amanda (Sweet Fix owner) is AMAZINGLY GIFTED! We used her for our custom wedding cake and our custom dessert table. It was hard for me to figure out exactly what I wanted for my cake, and she helped me work through a few sketches to come up with exactly what I wanted. She listened to the little aspects that I wanted and make them come to life with the cake. She also provides the cutest cake stands to really add that something extra for the cake.
The dessert table was the hit of the night! It was beautifully decorated and of course everything looked and tasted amazing. She helped us figure out how many we would need and what options looked good with our color palate and what would work well together. She even came up with cute custom decorations for the shot glasses and cookies to make them fit our sparkle/gold theme.
She was very professional, flexible, helpful, and creative (all the great qualities you need in a dessert/cake designer). I would highly recommend her for wedding cakes/dessert tables/ or any other occasion you need to grab a dessert! She is awesome!

Amanda, the owner of Sweet Fix, is an absolute jewel! Our wedding cake was by far the best wedding cake I have ever had, and I'm not being bias! I searched high and low as I was planning our wedding from out of town and did not find what I was looking for before moving to chicago. So, when I had a weekend back in VA to finalize wedding things I came across Sweet Fix and I am soooooo glad I did. The italian meringue butter cream is to die for and the lemon curd cake is my absolute favorite. Amanda took my vintage wedding theme and ideas and sketched the most perfect wedding cake. It was highly admired at the reception. Thank you so much Amanda for your talent, professionalism, and passion it positively shows in your work. We will be requesting our anniversary cake all the way from Chicago this December :)

I interviewed several different bakerys for my wedding (6 in total) and Sweet Fix was without question the obvious choice. Amanda provided a custom design that matched my theme as well as a few cake designs I pinned on Pinterest was exactly what we envisioned. Her attention to detail provided the elegance I was desperate for and the amazing batter and icing flavors were iltterally the "icing on the cake" (pun intended). The cake was delicious, and picture perfect.. a bride really could not ask for more.

Amanda is fun to work with. The cake was DELICIOUS! The cake, filling and whipped chocolate ganache frosting were so flavorful and perfectly balanced. The design and decoration of the cake perfectly suited the themes of the wedding so it made a beautiful focal point at the reception. We were very happy that we chose Sweet Fix!

I have to say that when I first thought about the prospect of having to have a gluten free cake, I was certainly less than thrilled. I mean, all the non-gluten free wedding cakes I've ever tried all tasted like card bored, how was I ever going to find a gluten free wedding cake that not only didn't taste like card bored, but had any kind of taste at all, not to mention a palpable texture? So, I began my search, which took a bit, but finally I found a gluten free wedding cake baker! I went to try it out and guess what... Card bored. So I began the search again, without much hope, and I found Sweet Fix. When I tell you that Amanda makes THE BEST wedding cake I have EVER eaten, gluten free or not, don't just take my word for it, please arrange a tasting for yourself because I guarantee you will not be disappointed. The cake is so moist and flavorful, I would never have been able to guess that it was gluten free, nor did any of our guests notice. Speaking of the guests, they ate EVERY single piece of cake besides what i had saved for my husband and I, thank god too because the only piece I had at the actual reception was the piece my husband tried to shove in my face. Also, Amanda did an excellent job decorating the cake, she is very creative, and she really captured exactly what we wanted. All in all, if you are looking for a good gluten free wedding cake, or just a good wedding cake in general, please give Sweet Fix a try, I have a feeling you will find exactly what you need.

Amanda's cake was hands down the best I have ever had. I am not a huge fan of frosting, but her French buttercream was simply amazing. Amanda custom designed what was our dream wedding cake from just a few examples of things that we liked. She was easy to work with, fun, creative and great with communication. Her prices are great especially for why she offers. If/when we need a cake again there is no question we will be calling Amanda!

We had a barn reception and Sweet fix provided adorable and delicious pie pops as well as sugar cookies decorated as mason jars with the bride and groom's names. They looked charming on the dessert table! Amanda was very easy to communicate with and her bake goods were presented just as they were advertised. I would highly recommend her!

Everything about Amanda and my cake was wonderful! I gave her a sort of unusual order-I wanted my cake to look like a motorcycle. It looked amazingly realistic and tasted delicious. Weeks later, we continue to receive compliments on it! Amanda was so responsive whenever I had a question. She was also very flexible, even when we had to bump the wedding date back a month. Any another baker would've charged me an arm and a leg for that kind of work. Amanda was very affordable, though!

Amanda of Sweet Fix was an absolutely wonderful vendor. She really listened to what I wanted for my dessert table and even included some of my grandmother's antique dishes, no problem! She was always responsive via email and phone. She worked with all my other vendors so well and she truly provides an all in one dessert table for a very reasonable price. The dessert table she put together was stunning! I got so many compliments on how gorgeous it was. And I haven't even mentioned how absolutely DELICIOUS her desserts were!! Her macarons, dessert shooters (get the chocolate mousse!), mini cupcakes, and fruit tartlets were all so so good. My wedding guests raved about how good everyone tasted. I highly recommend Amanda to cater your special event!

We had the cake of our dreams as she is a true artist. She took tons of different photos we had and imagined up an awesome cake not only in appearance but also taste!
I mean come on, a chai buttercream?! Perfect for our fall wedding. Did I mention she is very reasonably priced and quality for her is key.
Two years later Amanda also did a Baby cake to help us find out the gender of our now 2 month old son. It was one of the best memories my husband and I have of the pregnancy. She was the ONLY person who knew after our 20 week ultrasound and it was such a special feeling to know she has been with us along our journey.
I highly recommend Sweet Fix for any and ALL of your baking needs!

My husband and I decided to hire Sweet Fix after seeing her truly astounding creations online! The attention to detail and amazing creativity that comes from this vendor is second to none! We ordered 40 cupcakes for our small wedding, that were both delicious and beautiful. I would highly recommend Sweet Fix for any special occasion.

My wedding cake was a one of a kind work of heART. Amanda created a replica of the Mayan ruins where my husband proposed to me. She also made a beautiful cake topper of 2 magical pheonix birds; which we still have as a work of art amongst our most precious belongings! In addition to the beauty of the cake, the taste was out of this world. My guests continue to rave about the white chocolate grenach and raspberry cake to this day. While planning a wedding can cause anxiety I will say that i never once worried about the cake element of the planning process. Amanda was accomodating, responsive and professional throughout the entirity of the wedding planning and wedding day! It was like she jumped inside my head and made my dreams a reality! I would work with her again in a heartbeat and I refer everyone I know to her when i hear they need a cake for any occasion. We had the pleasure of serving a Sweet Fix cake at our wedding and could not have been more pleased! Amanda was a delight to work with and has tremendous talent. She was able to transform our ideas into a beautiful work of art. We went with a 4 tier cake with two flavors: chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream and vanilla bean cake with lemon curd and vanilla buttercream. Our guests could not stop raving about our cake! We have since had the chance to work with Sweet Fix for a birthday cake and were equally as wowed by the experience. Amanda is a joy to work with and we look forward to our next Sweet Fix!

Amanda was amazing from start to finish! I had a sit down consult with her and described the type of cake I had in mind. From that Amanda sketched out my cake and custom designed it flawlessly! She was able to accomidate my desire for organic ingredients and even delivered and set up our cake. I really can not speak higher of her services. I will absolutely use her again in the future and always recommend her services when I'm asked about special occasion cakes. Her prices are amazingly reasonable for the detailed work she does. Amanda's cake aren't only delicious they are pieces of custom art. My wedding cake is still the topic of convo from others when weddings are being planned/discussed.

Our wedding was so special, with a variety of cupcakes we offered guests, everyone still raves about the desserts. The cake topper is an absolute heirloom on our mantle, and we use it as a very special centerpiece for special occasion dinners. The high quality of the ingredients in her cupcakes, cakes and desserts is obvious- they just taste better! The fantastic presentation and themed displays really take it to another level, such attention to detail. I have been at many weddings and events, and no one else offers this type of all around excellence!

Sweet Fix is the absolute pinnacle of wedding cake-making in Richmond - there's no reason to look anywhere else. My gluten allergy, creative whims, far-flung wedding site and culinary snobbery were all accommodated to the letter. Could not have been a better experience.

This was the second time I've used Sweet Fix and it was just as beautiful and delicious the second time. Both times were for birthdays: my mother and a co-worker. A Christmas snow flake chocolate cake for my mom. Beautiful and yummy and red velvet cup cakes for the co-worker.

Yes, I ranked 5 out of 5 for all of these categories because not only could I have received better service and product, but I couldn't have asked for anything better!
Amanda took my theme and the ideas in my head and transformed them into a beautiful and creative design for our fall wedding. My wedding guests continually came up to me and told me afterwards how it was one of the coolest designed AND best tasting wedding cakes they've seen.
Additionally, she made cakes for both my wedding shower and bachelorette girls' night. Her creativity is amazing and not something you will find with other cake designers.
Since then, I have referred her to many other brides and friends and she never disappoints. Her cakes are a piece of art and it almost pains you to cut into them!
If you are looking for something to give your party or event a real "wow" factor and have a great conversation piece, then Sweet Fix is the place to go!

THE best. They helped us design 3 cakes for our wedding day which came out perfectly! They incorporated our creative ideas in an affordable and fun way not to mention the quality and taste of the desserts were absolutely amazing. I've never had a better cake in my life. Sweet Fix did a fantastic job with the cake for our wedding! We worked with Amanda, and she created an awesome cake that really met our vision. We did a small “cutting” cake, since we were going with a large “kitchen” sheet cake to feed the majority of guests. Despite this, she still treated our order with care, and was very prompt and attentive in working with us to create a custom design. Also, their cake is DELICIOUS. Even though our cake was small, we decided to still get the full experience of doing a tasting- and it was so hard to pick a flavor, they were all so good! Unfortunately they were out of delivery drivers for our wedding day, but they were willing to work with us to have one of the groomsmen come pick the cake up. Overall, we would definitely recommend them!

Our wedding cake looked amazing and tasted even better! Amanda's flavors and ingredients make for an amazing cake and the icing perfect (sweet, but not overly so). Ended up being slightly more expensive than other bakers, but worth it. I only wish we had ordered a larger cake so we could have had leftovers :).

We absolutely loved working with Amanda for both our wedding cake and our groom's cake. It was so easy to talk with her about our thoughts and ideas. She truly has a knack of taking your ideas and creating it into something gorgeous. To top it off, the cake flavors and Italian buttercream frosting were absolutely to die for. So many of our guests raved about how the cake tasted because it was so light and airy. I can't wait to use Amanda and SweetFix again!

Gorgeous Cake and Wonderful Vendors
Amanda was fabulous to work with from our tasting through to the day of the event. She was extremely responsive and flexible with timing, payments, etc. Beyond that her cakes are absolutely delicious and she along with Colonial Florists who did the flowers brought our cake vision to life! We couldn't afford to do a big cake so we did this smaller cake for the bridal party and then sheet cakes from elsewhere, though she does do kitchen cakes as well. Highly recommend following her on Instagram, she and her team are true artists and I can't speak highly enough about them! While it was pricey, it was fairly priced for the area.
