My daughter and I first met Christy at a Wedding Show and sampled her wedding cake. Hands down...Sweet Divas was absolutely the Best! Christy is so warm and kind and made us feel like family. My daughter and her husband chose the almond cake with buttercream frosting for their wedding and it was outstanding...we still have guests talking about the cake! I also used Christy for the Bridesmaid's Luncheon cake and we chose a lemon raspberry, which was out of this world! I have such wonderful memories of meeting Christy in her bakery...her husband was heading out to deliver an order and on his way out he came over and gave Christy a kiss goodbye. Wonderful people and wonderful cakes! I can't wait for the next event so that I can order a cake from Sweet Divas. These folks are simply the best! Thank you Christy and all of the Sweet Divas! -

Christy was the woman we worked with, and she was very helpful and very responsive during our communication. We did all of our planning from Indianapolis, so communication was key for us. We could not have been happier to work with her!
We wanted to have a few different types of cake available for our guests so we decide to go with the cupcake option. We had three different flavors. I had at least one of each and they were each beyond amazing. They were all beautiful and garnished in their own way. We had the tres leches, French vanilla, and red velvet. We also wanted our cutting cake to be fresh lemon (along with a duplicate top tier fresh lemon cake that was on display but was to be saved for our 1-year anniversary). She brought our vision to life in a stunning display.
Christy ensured timely delivery and helped us package the top tier cake for us to freeze for next year. Her expertise and execution were both impeccable
So many people during the reception (and more people even once we got back home from the honeymoon) told us how great the cupcakes were. We provided the cake topper, and the florist assisted a little with the surrounding décor, but Christy made certain the final product was gorgeous!
Thank you, Christy, for all your help and for the delicious cakes and cupcakes! I know it won't quite be the same at all, but we cannot wait to eat our 1-year anniversary cake!

Beautiful, delicious cake!
Sweet Divas was one of our favorite vendors! Not only was our wedding cake absolutely delicious, but it came out exactly as we wanted (visually), it was very affordable, and Christy was one of the sweetest people we have ever met. We had a wonderful time with her at our tasting and appreciated all the advice she gave us. She treated us like family. From start to finish, it was an impeccable experience! We cannot recommend Christy at Sweet Divas enough!! -

DELICIOUS, moist almond cake
Christy was a pleasure to work with. She was very detailed in her presentation of the tasting, showed compassion and true care, pleasure in working with her clients.
My husband and I went with Sweet Divas after our original cake vendor (who we had gone to for many other occasions in the past) unfortunately had to close their business due to personal reasons. We were nervous that whatever new vendor we contracted wouldn't live up to our expectations, but wow, Sweet Divas did not disappoint!!!
Christy worked with us to ensure that the cake would be the consistency and texture we were looking for by offering her expertise on how to make the cake even more moist and modifying her ingredients slightly- the cake ended up tasting even better than how we discussed and styled precisely to our simple, 'less is more' vision. In addition, careful handling and delivery of not just the cake, but also our wooden slab and bobblehead cake topper that we provided to her about a week prior to our event. Thank you Sweet Divas!! -

I had my wedding in April 2022 and met with Christy. She is wonderful. She listens and should be listened to. As an expert in her field, as her recommendations and she will not steer you wrong. My guests are still talking about our cake and how it is the best they have ever had. The red velvet and vanilla almond will blow you away. Can’t say enough great things about this experience. We love Sweet Divas! -

Amazing!!!
We had such an amazing experience working with Sweet Divas!!! Christy was wonderful to work with, she is so sweet and helped us so much throughout our process. I ended up changing my mind on our cake flavor 2 weeks out from our wedding and OMG - the cannoli filling was TO DIE FOR!!! We received SO many compliments about the cake and I have Christy to thank for all of that!!! We already can't wait to eat our anniversary tier next March!! :) -

My daughter was married 6/24/21 and Sweet Divas prepared her cake. It was an amazing experience, the special cake tasting celebration and designing. The actual cake was so delicious, somehow the caterer knew to bring me every flavor to taste!!! So amazing!! The special design touch was the hit of the wedding!!! See photo!! -

Our cake was delicious! At our tasting we were given little samples of a variety of cakes, fillings, and frostings and shown replica cakes so we had a better idea of the size and style we wanted. We were able to have a different cake/filling combo for each of our 3 tiers and they helped advise us on a change when we suddenly had fewer guests than we were originally expecting. They also worked with our florist to place beautiful flowers on the cake as part of the decoration and there was no cake left at the end of the night! -

Delicious wedding cake!
Sweet Divas was awesome when it came up planning and then replanning our wedding due to covid. We were living out of state at the time we initially planned our wedding and we came to Florida to do our cake tasting. Christy was always so sweet and responsive when planning our appointment and everything we tasted was amazing! After our wedding got postponed, Christy was so flexible in rescheduling. Unfortunately we only got one bite of our cake, but I remember how delicious it was! It also looked beautiful and exactly what we wanted! We are going to order a small cake to enjoy soon! Definitely recommend Sweet Divas! -

Love at First Bite!
My mom and I were first introduced to Sweet Divas at The Birchwood’s Bridal Show (our reception venue). Christy was so friendly and welcoming right from the start. At the bridal show, we were able to try her Almond Cake and it was truly love at first bite! We knew we HAD to have this cake for the wedding. Honestly, we couldn’t stop talking about it. Even though we were pretty set on the almond cake, Christy still presented us with a plethora of cake and frosting options at our tasting (and I mean every flavor and combination you could IMAGINE)! Everything tasted amazing – but we still went with the Almond Cake that our heart was set on. Although, to mix it up we stuck with the tradition of saving the top tier and chose the chocolate cake to make this tier a little special. Our overall wedding theme was more classic and traditional, so we opted for an elegant 5-tiered buttercream wedding cake. She also helped us design the cake when it came to size and shape and was extremely helpful with providing advice on how large the cake should be to accommodate how many guests we had. I mentioned to Christy that I wanted to add some greenery to the cake and she had absolutely no problem collaborating with the florist. The guests couldn’t stop raving about the cake and we only had one plate of leftovers (that were gone very quickly!). We can’t thank Christy enough for her professionalism and patience to create the wedding cake of our dreams! -

My husband and I had a great experience with Sweet Divas for our wedding last month! We are vegan and gluten free and they were able to accommodate our dietary needs. The tasting went well and Christy helped inspire our idea of what we wanted our cake to look like as well as various flavors for cake. We had a different flavor for each layer and our guests enjoyed our cake very much! We loved the way it looked and the way it tasted :) (see pictures below taken by NeilShannon Photography)

Exceeded Expectations
I put my new husband in charge of the cake for our wedding because I am not a 'sweets' person. Little did I know that Sweet Diva's would make a cake, even I wanted seconds of. From the beginning of our cake journey, Christy, owner of Sweet Diva's, prepared a wonderful cake tasting that blew us away! She was so patient with us and went through every option we had so we could make the best choice. We left feeling like we were in good hands, and boy were we! Shortly after we ordered the wedding cake, I contacted Christy about a grooms cake and it being a drum because my husband plays drums. When it showed up to our rehearsal, everyone was in awe! It was exactly what I wanted and it blew everyone (especially my husband) away! The next day when we arrived at the reception, we were so happy with the way the cake turned out. It was so simply beautiful. Not only was it a show stopper, but it was also a hit with the guests! I was told by multiple people that it was the best cake they'd ever had! We love Christy and her creations! She will definitely be my go-to for any future cake needs! -

Our cake was part of our package with our venue at the Grand Plaza Resort. We had a choice of a few places, but we loved our samples so much only went to our tasting here. We did pay extra for some upgrades, but still reasonably priced. Our cake was beautiful and everyone enjoyed eating it. -

The cake was so moist and flavorful everyone enjoyed it, our guest even the super healthy ones went back for seconds and thirds, I definitely wasn’t let down from the beginning to end. Brian Sent on 06/22/2018My cake almost stole the show at my wedding! It was elegant, decadent, and delicious. Thank God for my mother who did the majority of the footwork as we planned my Florida wedding with me all the way in California. The venue I selected came with a cake included but we found out it was dry and had very limited flavor options after my parents attended the tasting. My mom was able to schedule a tasting at Sweet Divas and the entire experience was amazing. She also tried the chocolates which we ended up using as our party favors (they were a HIT). I felt like my cake was straight off of Pinterest and each layer had a different flavor! Guests were so impressed. The presentation was flawless and I couldn’t have been more pleased! My groom is still talking about it!

Sweet Diva's created a timeless 4 tier wedding cake that was elegant, beautiful and delicious. Christy was a pleasure to worked with and combined a few inspiration photos to come up with the wedding cake my daughter had envisioned. Even though we were unable to arrange a tasting, with guidance, we were able to pick different fillings and flavored cakes for each tier to satisfy all of our guest's taste buds. It was one of the best wedding cakes I ever tasted! It was so good it was a shame it was served last! -

We are so happy that we chose Christy and Sweet Divas - our cake turned out beautiful (and delicious)! Christy was exteremly friendly and welcomed my now husband, mom, dad, and myself into the tasting with open arms. The tasting was definately my dad's favorite part of wedding planning. We provided Christy with a picture of what we wanted our cake to look like and it turned out even better than we could have expected. We live in Downtown St. Pete and stop into her bakery whenever we get a chance - you won't be dissapointed! -

Delicious cake
We chose Sweet Divas based off of a recommendation from our reception space and it turned out amazing! Christy is fantastic to work with and very personable. She was so kind and easy to work with over the phone which was great for a long distance bride like myself. My guests loved the cake cups and the cake was great (even though we didn't eat it until the next day)! Would highly recommend Sweet Divas! -

I had high hopes for this vendor but unfortunately, over time my husband and I were left disappointed especially the day of our wedding. We also had issues with the decorator not seeming very open to some of what we wanted. It was difficult getting ahold of them for several weeks and while the cake was beautiful, it fell a little short in the decor departmemt of what we discussed. It was a little too plain/simple looking compared to the whole aesthetic of our wedding. For these reasons I cannot give 5 stars. -

Disappointed
We were really excited to work with Sweet Divas after hearing great things from other people... first impression was great but was under the impression our tasting was just a starting point... we were certainly not ready to finalize our cake that day but was told to come in anyway... we were rushed and just settled. When reaching out a few weeks later with changes/questions we never got a response. A few months before the wedding sent another email and got no response. Called and got a “give me a few days to email you some options.” Got the email a few days later but with no options just “here’s what you chose. Can’t wait to see you.” I got a call 3 days before asking for the final payment for a few accessories we asked for... when asked about the options she just brushed it off... I was to the point that I didn’t care anymore so I just went with it. If I could go back I would’ve gone with a different cake company. Only good thing was that the cake was tasty! -

Ruined the top of cake
Unfortunately the top of the cake was not the dome of flowers that was promised but gappy flat mess that from the profile the center flower could not be seen and gaps around center flower and between flowers. The cake was a part of the wedding package thru the hotel. She gave back $22 dollars for the topper that we paid extra for and then after that the hotel got involved and she refunded for the extra for dummy layer. At my reception the wedding coordinator saw me as I first looked at the cake and asked what was wrong and I said "she messed up the top of the cake". Unfortunately it looked so bad to me I could not share the cake pictures and Christy at Sweet Divas will not explain why she changed the design of the topper from the picture she gave me. The black and white picture was the example picture provided by Sweet Divas and the color picture was the topper actually looked like. You tell me, does what was delivered looked like the dome of flowers I was expecting?
A token $99 dollars and sorry that the cake did not live up to my expectations does not fix the fact the top looked bad in the pictures and the pictures cannot be redone. The cake was the first thing the guests saw and was my only decoration in the room since small wedding. I dreamed of a beautiful cake, beautiful cake pictures. The most important was the top of the cake, I always said dome of roses, by it being bad it ruined the cake as a whole. Every picture had the bad topper in it. -

I used Sweet Divas for my wedding on November 8 and unfortunately my experience was beyond disappointing. I would NOT recommend using them if you need ANY type of dietary/ food allergy accommodations. They are completely untrustworthy in this area.
I have several people in my family with SEVERE nut allergies. The reason we chose Sweet Divas was because they assured us that they could accommodate this and that everything would be 100% nut free and they would even take extra precautions to prevent any cross contamination. We chose them over other bakeries because of how confident they were that they could make sure that our desserts were safe for our family. We trusted them with our family’s lives.
I ordered a cake and assorted desserts and THEY DELIVERED BISCOTTIS THAT HAD ALMONDS IN THEM.
Unfortunately, the family members with allergies were not able to eat any desserts and were afraid to eat their dinner due to the fear of cross contamination.
It is highly disappointing that a reputable bakery could have been this negligent.
Thankfully everyone was ok and no one went into anaphylactic shock due to Sweet Divas carelessness. This could have been a fatal mistake.
Sweet Divas did admit they had these notes in their file and it was an oversight and refunded us 15% on approximately $850 bill.
I sincerely hope they take these requests more seriously in the future before someone ends up in the hospital or worse dead from their carelessness.
