Sarah brought my vineyard weddings dreams to life! She was absolutely amazing throughout the whole planning process and thought of EVERYTHING. Our day went so smoothly thanks to the hard and detailed work of Sarah & her team! When I went to Sarah, I had nothing planned and was a ball of stress and anxiety - She took that all away and helped us create the wedding of our dreams. We had a DIY wedding and were on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator since we figured we could manage it ourselves. Boy, were we wrong. As the details piled up, we needed help with managing all of the vendors, and found ourselves underwater. In a panic, we hired Sarah as our day of coordinator. Let me tell you that this was the best decision we made for our wedding. Sarah was absolutely incredible and brought to the table years of knowledge and experience to help guide us through "checking off all the boxes" while still brilliantly executing our vision. On our wedding day, she kept us and our vendors all on track, following the wedding timeline she expertly put together in the month before. When we had questions, she was always available to answer them in the time leading up to the wedding. She even saved our day by sending someone to pick up our cake when it was discovered that it was not delivered. We couldn't have imagined having to deal with that ourselves and are truly grateful Sarah was there looking over all the details. She guaranteed that we could truly enjoy our special day. Thank you Sarah, you are the absolute best! -

Planning any wedding can be stressful, especially during Covid, but Sarah made our entire experience as enjoyable and flawless as it could be! Her comprehensive coverage of our intended decisions, choices, and selections allowed us to focus our efforts on organizing multiple vendors sourced across multiple states for our amazing day.
Her remarkable resourcefulness also, quite literally, saved the execution of our after-ceremony events! My best man experienced an unfortunate slip, and he ripped his pants lengthwise in the process. It was her deft pinwork that saved our countless photographs afterwards.
If you value a seamless and enjoyable experience planning any event, your first choice should be Sweet Deets! -

We had found ourselves with a stellar team of vendors, but on our 3rd wedding date and 2nd venue due to Covid. Additionally, my husband and I live in DC and at this point we knew we needed help. Our venue had recommended Sarah and a few other planners and after several interviews we decided to go with Sarah. This ended up being one of the best decisions and an essential reason why our wedding was wonderful. Sarah’s experience was apparent throughout the process and it really shone through when it came to last minute issues or changes. She always had a solution. Her understanding of our vision and design expertise brought some essential additions and changes that really elevated the event. Some relatively small but made a big difference while others were investments such as lighting that really added so much to our venue space. She established a great rapport with both the vendors she knew and new ones, all of which really enjoyed working with her from start to finish. On the day of, she was a godsend. I can think of endless examples thinking “what would I have done without Sarah.” She is very professional and organized but that the same time incredibly warm and approachable. Everyone loved her. I can say confidently our wedding would have not been as amazing as it was (or low stress) without her! Hiring Sarah was worth the investment many times over … I just wish we did it sooner! -

Sweet Deets Events was Incredible!!
Sarah was such a fantastic help for our wedding! We had our ceremony and reception at Dragonline Studios in Jamestown, R.I and it was incredible! Thank goodness we had Sarah during Covid times because we couldn’t even begin to list everything that went sideways, but she was there with a solution and our wedding went off without a hitch. She was quick to respond with her expertise, advice and all her contacts; we so appreciated every moment of it. I couldn’t recommend Sweet Deets Events more, you will never be disappointed. Thank you again, Sarah!!! -

Words can’t explain
It’s hard to put into words how much I appreciate the work completed by Sarah and the sweet deets team. I wasn’t sure if a wedding planner was needed but it was worth every penny and more. Sarah put me at ease, ensured all vendors understood the timeline, sat in on all final meetings and the day of set everything up to complete my vision and the day went smoothly. She is beyond kind, professional & detail oriented. Everything you could want in a planner! -

Sarah and the Sweet Deets Team were an absolute pleasure to work with - so organized and on top of it, which made my wedding day a complete breeze. We hired Sarah at the last minute and she jumped in and coordinated with all our vendors and had every nailed down to a T. Because I had worked in events in the past, I thought I could plan and execute my entire wedding without getting a wedding planner. I was the wedding planner, why did I need help from anyone else? Boy was I wrong. There are so many things about your own wedding day that you would not even believe are choices you have to make. On the actual day of your wedding, the only thing you will be thinking about is how to say your own vows out loud in front of everyone without bawling. At least, that was my experience.
A couple months before my wedding, I realized I was drowning in vendor coordination and design choices and decided to hire Sweet Deets Events to help me get over the finish line and have someone there the day-of. THANK GOD we did so. Sarah was amazing, guided me through all aspects of the final stages, handled some tricky vendor situations and was my rock, especially on the weekend of.
Sarah is not just attentive and helpful, but goes the extra mile. She created an incredibly detailed timeline/event prospectus that was an amazing resource for all of our vendors and our wedding party. She even dropped off our gifts at our Airbnb after the wedding was over so we could go on to rage at our after-party. Honestly, without her, I can assuredly say that I would not have been able to enjoy my wedding in the way that I was able. I would have been so worried about the vendors and the timeline, etc. and likely spending a lot of time coordinating.
Coming from someone who did event coordination professionally, *hire a planner*!! Specifically, hire Sarah. You definitely need her. I know you think you don’t, but you absolutely do. She is worth every single penny. My only regret is not hiring her sooner! -

My husband and I got married a few short weeks ago and continue to rejoice in all the beauty of the day. If I name all the things that Sarah did leading up the wedding and the day of... this review may become very long! So I will try and summarize! We were engaged a little over a year and a half and being the Type A that I am, I couldn’t fathom anyone helping me with any planning of my wedding. However, my long work weeks became longer and the wedding day was getting closer, so I succumbed to the idea of hiring a wedding planner. I was ambivalent, eh... I would say resistant to the idea, until I talked to Sarah! I hate to sound cheesy, but after speaking with her for the first time I actually felt like I could relax. She wrote down all the vendors I had already and started making calls to vendors I still needed, the same day. We met in person at my venue a few weeks later & she was so professional and amazing! In the weeks/ days leading up to the wedding, she had contacted all my vendors and had made a timeline for the day. She also talked with some people from our wedding party. She was so responsive and organized. I felt safe with her. The days before the wedding, my glass gift box I ordered from Etsy was delivered but it was chipped- I told Sarah and she had a solution. I also ordered a seating chart from Etsy, very late- so it’s my fault that wasn’t going to come on time. So Sarah developed a seating chart (beautiful), the night before. She decorated our tables for the reception... in rosemary, because I am complicated and went a different route. She picked up my flowers the day of the wedding and dropped them off. You name it, she did it. She was clued into details that I had never thought of. She was friendly, outgoing, professional and overall amazing. I regret not contacting her earlier. She was the glue that held all the details together at our wedding & we are very thankful.Sweet Deets Events's reply:

Sarah and the Sweet Deets Team are the best. She offers and INVALUABLE service. I wasn't sure I needed a day of coordinator but im so glad I hired her. It was worth every penny. She is so helpful and a true pleasure to work with. Sarah and her assistant went out of their way to make sure my day was perfect, they even took care of my dog!!! She helped with everything from coordinating every last detail, setting up the reception, dealing with family members, and beyond...
