Sweet Cheat Cales
From booking a tasting to the desserts at the wedding, we couldn’t have been happier with Carina. She’s professional gives great advice when picking desserts and most importantly her cakes and desserts are beyond delicious! We have so many guests complementing the desserts. I would highly recommend Carina! -

Working with Carina was an absolute delight! She was super friendly and communicative, and don't get me started on how delicious everything was! We had an entire dessert table and everything was gone before we cut the cake. We had vegan cake shooters for those who wanted it and no one could tell they were vegan. We couldn't even tell, they were so good! Cutting into our cake was a beautiful display of galaxy colors, and the flavors were so incredibly good! I hope to work with Carina again for different events as everything was absolutely stunning and beautiful! Thank you Carina for all the hard work and for all the delicious treats! -

Carina was so amazing from the very beginning. We did many cake tasting and no one made it as personal and special like she did. When we got to her house she had a table all set up with flowers, a pitcher of water, and a personalized sign with our names and wedding date. On top of that her cake and desserts were DELISH. The brownie bites were a must, I couldn't stop eating those. I couldn't believe that all the desserts were gone since it seems like people usually don't eat at weddings but to my happy surprise all the desserts were eaten and loved. Another thing I loved is how fresh the ingredients were. So many places we went to tasted like cakes I would get at a grocery store - super artificial from the flavor to the color. I am so looking forward to another event someday where I can get desserts from her.

9.5.22 Wedding
Carina is amazing! For the first tasting to the final result was such an easy process. All of our desserts and cake were phenomenal. She was recommended to me by another bride and I’m so glad we went with Carina. Our guests loved all of our desserts there wasn’t a piece left to take! Our wedding cake came out exactly as I had envisioned and was so delicious! Would highly recommend Sweet Cheats Cakes -

Carina, owner/baker of SweetCheats, is phenomenal! We hired her for our wedding and she put together a classic 2-tier cake, creative grooms' cake, and dessert bar. She knew exactly what we wanted and made the styling package fit the theme of our reception. She is experienced, professional, and makes REALLY tasty desserts. She also accommodated our vegan/gluten-free guests, no problem. One of my favorite things about working with Carina is that she was honest about the number of desserts we needed and didn't try to upsell or get us to buy more than we needed. She did an excellent job personalizing the desserts for our reception and guests loved all of the desserts. We are so happy we hired Carina and I highly recommend her for all events. -

We met with Corina for a cake tasting and love the cake and flavors. We went with a 3 tier cake, chocolate and sea salt Carmel, red velvet, and white with fresh strawberries. The cake looked great and tasted great! Would definitely recommend Sweet Cheats Cakes for your wedding! -

I am so glad we decided to work with Carina for our wedding. First of all, she invited us out for a cake tasting, at which we got to sample a handful of different, delicious flavors. She also worked with our vision for a custom cake design that she sketched for us at our tasting. On the day of, she delivered the cake without issue or flaw, and it was even more beautiful than we had hoped. Our guests were raving about how good the cake was too! It was moist, flavorful, and just so, so good. We got a tier of her Lemonade flavor and a tier of her Tuxedo flavor. Thank you so much Carina for being a part of our big day — she's the best! -

Carina was a DREAM to work with. I loved her from our first conversation, and she was so flexible with me with my tasting since my now husband and I live far away. She understood exactly my vision and brought it to life, I nearly cried when I saw the cake! All my guests told me it was the best cake they've evert tasted. The dream vendor!
Working with Carina was a dream! We already had a couple tastings before finding Sweet Cheats and as soon as we tasted Sweet Cheats, it was a no brainer. The cake was perfect and we were blown away with how many options Carina had. Every single flavor was perfect.
We opted for a cake and a dessert bar. The cake, every dessert, and the plating and table arrangement was absolutely beautiful. I was very specific in wanting an aesthetic dessert table and Carina achieved that vision effortlessly. Our guests were gushing over the cake and every single dessert - we over ordered and even then we had very little left over.
Beyond the incredible quality of every dessert, Carina was the dream wedding vendor to work with. She was very responsive and proactive. Carina was incredibly kind and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She made the logistics very easy for us and took all the stress away. I could not recommend Carina’s services enough!

We seriously cannot thank Carina enough for the wonderful desserts she provided on our wedding day! it was a crazy process getting to that day when our original wedding in March 2020 was cancelled just 4 days before and then even more COVID rescheduling and venue changes, Carina worked with us endlessly to ensure the process is easy and not stressful considering the situation with the pandemic. And we are so so thankful for that!
On wedding day, OMG our cake looked beautiful!! And it was delicious! Due to COVID, our venue also decided they are not allowing a dessert bar/table that we had originally planned and Carina worked with us to come up with a solution and so our guests could still enjoy the desserts we will provide! Those all turned out soooo yummy!
We are so happy and grateful to have Carina be part of our special day and we just absolutely loved working with her! -

I fell in love with Carinas work the moment I tasted her cake at the tastings. It was by far the best cake I have ever had. Not only was the cake delicious but all the work that she showed me was so professional detailed and beautiful. I knew at that moment I was going to choose her. Our wedding was set for May 8 of 2020 but because of the pandemic that was going on I had to push my date far out. I was so bummed that our new date didn’t work out but she was so kind to give us referral (hoping the new artist will be as good as hers). Carina also refund us all of our deposits especially during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for that. We hope anyone reading this review will consider giving her the opportunity. You will not be disappointed with her work. A true professional and a sweet sweet lady. -

The most perfect desert table!
Carina is incredibly talented with her pastries, not only her artwork but her baking skills are amazing. She set up the most adorable desert table for us and we ordered cupcakes, cake pops, and our wedding cake. Everything was super delicious and very aesthetically pleasing. She’s very well with communicating and makes sure she’s got down your entire vision and that she’s fulfilling all of your needs! -

We absolutely loved working with Carina to create our Fairy Tale cake for our wedding! The cake flavors were simply delicious (chocolate, vanilla and chocolate/vanilla cake with Cookies 'N' Cream frosting). All of our guests loved the flavors and the buttercream frosting was perfect. The sugar flowers on the cake were BEAUTIFUL and many thought they were real! Carina was also very quick to respond to any emails/phone calls, she kept us updated throughout the process and was extremely flexible when it came to requests. We had to change the size and flavors of the cake a month before and she was so great helping us work through a new plan. On the day, everything was delivered on time, set-up perfectly and in the end the cake created a wonderful centerpiece to our special day. -

Carina could not have made our dessert experience any easier! We decided on just having donuts at our wedding, and we utilized the styling package that Carina offered. She provided an awesome donut wall, along with a whole table of decorations that perfectly matched our wedding theme. She set up and tore down the table, which is a HUGE help in the midst of wedding chaos, so we are so appreciative of her and her donuts! Also, it didn't hurt that the donuts were delicious and super cute! -

Very Impressed
Sweet Cheats Cakes provided the cake, cupcakes and cake pops for my bridal shower and they were amazing. We were so impressed we ended up ordering cake pops for our wedding day dessert too! Carina is so sweet and helpful and she is very responsive to questions and emails. Absolutely recommend desserts from Sweet Cheats for any occasion. -
