  Beautiful and Delicious Wedding Cake

  We hired Swank Desserts to create our wedding cake for our small wedding. Danetra helped us figure out exactly the design we were looking for that coordinated well with our wedding décor. We were also able to sample the flavors we had narrowed down and happily decided on the Champagne & Strawberries cake - which is AMAZING. We were so happy with our cake and would recommend Swank Desserts to anyone!

  Absolutely amazing

  Wow. Swank desserts was incredible. We had a destination wedding in Charleston & we weren’t able to taste desserts before our wedding. We could not be happier with them!!! Everything was delicious. Swank was able to set everything up for us, & after our wedding Danetra allowed my parents to swing by a closer location than their business to drop off the dessert platters & tiers they let us use for display. That was a huge weight off of my mother’s shoulders. All of our guests RAVED about the dessert. So happy we went with Swank!

  Can't recommend enough!

  We could not have been any happier with our cake and desserts on our special day! Danetra is not only amazing at making beautiful and yummy treats but is also so easy to work with! She made us feel so comfortable and like we could truly express exactly what we wanted. I would recommend her and Swank to anyone looking for a unique and fun way to add to their reception!

  Delicious cake!

  We had our wedding cake done by swank and it was absolutely beautiful! We had the champagne and strawberries flavor and it was so delicious. All of our questions were answered quickly and the cake turned out exactly the way we wanted! Thank you swank!

  We loved working with Danetra at Swank Desserts! We're not cake people so we opted for a dessert table instead with 5 different desserts. Danetra helped us choose the perfect mix of desserts and presented them beautifully! She even created one not on the menu for us - mini banana pudding parfaits - which were the favorite of so many guests! If you want to make a statement and lasting impression with your dessert table - go with Swank! Side note: Our favorite was the cookie dough cheesecake bar!

  We were so lucky to have Danetra make our wedding cake and desserts. She is an outstanding baker! We had a beautiful two tier wedding cake that was absolutely delicious. We chose red velvet and funfetti, it was the best cake we have ever had!! We also had a dessert table full of mouth watering treats! The brownies were a HIT, they are to die for! Our guests were blown away with the flavorful desserts and the stunning presentation of them. Danetra is a wonderful person to work with, she is so sweet and very talented. Do not hesitate to hire Swank Desserts!!

  Absolutely amazing service and quality!

  Swank Desserts was an absolute hit at our wedding! We had a few different mini sweets and the presentation and taste were absolutely phenomenal! Swank desserts are SO amazing that it was very hard to choose just a few mini sweets as we wish we could have had everything! Highly recommend Swank desserts for any of your sweet needs on your wedding day!

  Wonderful Wedding Experience GREAT cakes!

  Danetra was wonderful to work with, the tasting was very fun and she gave different options and suggestions throughout the process. The wedding cake and the presentation looked so great on the day of the wedding and it was all set when I arrived. Loved everything and definitely would highly recommend!!

  Danetra is such an AMAZING baker and was simply wonderful to work with! Rather than having a cake for our wedding, we decided to have Swank Desserts bake mini doughnuts. The doughnuts were so fresh and delicious, and our guests just couldn't get enough of them (including me)! Also, a huge bonus for us was that we were able to choose whatever doughnut flavors we wanted, and Danetra created those doughnuts for us! I wish I lived closer to Charleston so that I could pop into her shop more often and indulge in those delicious treats! However, come holiday season, I will be ordering those macaroons online and having them shipped back to Philadelphia!

  Danetra was so wonderful to work with from start to finish. Her desserts not only look amazing they are literally the best my things you will ever eat. We ordered a little bit of everything for our daughters wedding and I could not tell you which one we liked the best because they all were out of this world. From gorgeous naked cakes, to brownies (oh my gosh heaven), hand pies and donuts you can not go wrong with your selection.

  Like others have said, don't bother going to another cake tasting or considering anyone else. Danetra's desserts were OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. She genuinely cares about her clients and gave us such personal attention. She created a gorgeous lemon meringue pound cake and an assortment of deserts (get the maple butter cupcakes. DO IT). And the macaroons... to die for. Luckily we had several people cancel last minute so we now have a freezer full of her treats :D

  Danetra is a dessert wizard! For our wedding, we ordered a 6" Brown Butter Maple Bacon Cake which was TO DIE FOR. I was so impressed by the deliciousness of the cake that I was distracted from the photo-op "cake cutting" moment. While we got a bevy of mini desserts, our guests raved about the Pb & J Macaroons and Brown Sugar Pecan Bars in particular. Wow. It was a clean and simple presentation and the flavors spoke for themselves. Thanks, Denatra!

  Our cake was amazing and so incredibly beautiful! We all know that people don't usually attend weddings for the cake or even usually eat the cake, but this cake was absolutely exceptional!! The look of the cake fit the "theme" of our wedding so well and was a stunning centerpiece! The best part about it was that it wasn't only pretty to look at, but it tasted amazing too! I had a cousin that ate 4 pieces of the cake! I would highly recommend Swank for anyone looking for a delicious and beautiful cake, they were quick to respond too!

  Danetra was truly wonderful to work with! As a destination bride with a dairy allergy, she made me feel comfortable and confident in her ability to make a safe cake and cupcakes for our wedding day. All our guests raved about the cupcakes and had no idea they were dairy free! In addition to accommodating the allergy request, she truly put together a beautiful display table. Suffice to say, by the end of the night, all the desserts were gone! Looking forward to enjoying some more treats for our one year anniversary next year.

  We used Swank Desserts for our wedding this past October, and we are SO thrilled that we did. Danetra was a blast to work with through our wedding journey. She came to our home for our taste testing, and everything was so good that it was such a hard decision. My husband and I aren't big cake fans, but we still wanted to have a cake for our wedding day--Swank had a cake flavor that we couldn't resist, it was SOOO good. While our cake was on the smaller side, Swank delivered so many other fabulous treats on our wedding day. We had cookies, cotton candy marshmallows, macrons, and cupcakes. HOLY YUMMY! Everything was perfect, so customized, looked gorgeous, and had a great taste. When Danetra found out I loved cotton candy, she wanted to include it in our dessert menu, and we found so many fun ways to do just that. She also works with pop rocks, which are so much fun! Her creations were awesome and the result was a super fun + beautiful display at our wedding--my macrons were even monogrammed, y'all. Thanks so much for all you did to ensure our guests had a tummy full of the most fabulous treats in Charleston!

  Our dessert was soo good and Danetra was a pleasure to work with during the planning process. She accommodated my gluten free needs and guests LOVED everything, especially the brownies and macarons :) Highly recommend Swank desserts to any bride!

  Danetra did an AMAZING job on our desserts! We had a red velvet cake with butter cream frosting that all of our guests loved! We were from out of town and didn't get to do a tasting, but everything was spectacular! Danetra was incredibly flexible as we added a week before our wedding several different kinds of mini cup cakes and cherry pies. We also wanted to do something a little different which wasn't on the regular menu, and Danetra worked with us to make our cherry pie dessert a reality! I wish I lived in Charleston so I could eat the delicious cup cakes!

  Danetra did an AMAZING job on our desserts! We had a red velvet cake with butter cream frosting that all of our guests loved! We were from out of town and didn't get to do a tasting, but everything was spectacular! Danetra was incredibly flexible as we added a week before our wedding several different kinds of mini cup cakes and cherry pies. We also wanted to do something a little different which wasn't on the regular menu, and Danetra worked with us to make our cherry pie dessert a reality! I wish I lived in Charleston so I could eat the delicious cup cakes!

  THE BEST. Danetra is super responsive and wildly talented. Follow her on Instagram if you don't believe me- where she displays the most beautiful & creative desserts- i want to try them all . The desserts taste even better than they look- which is amazing- bc they all look gorgeous!!! We used her for some desserts for our Rehearsal Dinner... the maple bacon cupcakes were supposed to be for Welcome Drinks AFTER dinner, but more than half were gone before we even sat down for the meal, haha! Then the wedding cake- no words to describe. Many people, including the dessert king- my father- told me it was the best wedding cake they've ever had (banana puddin!), and it was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Swank Desserts!!!!

  My wedding planner recommended Swank Desserts to me after I discovered my first choice was already booked. I'm happy to say that I know consider myself lucky that my first choice was booked because Swank Desserts was exactly what I was looking for to create the desserts for me wedding! While Swank does make wedding cakes, I wanted to have a dessert buffet to offer my guests different choices and she did exactly that. After a tasting (at which Danetra comes to your house bearing sweets and wine) I selected 7 desserts including mini cupcakes, macarons, and cookie sandwiches. Even my husband, who doesn't have much of a sweet tooth, was raving about her desserts after the tasting. Danetra asked a lot of questions about our dinner and wedding design so that she could make recommendations. She also helped set up the desserts the day of the wedding so that they could be showcased exactly like they deserved. I am pretty certain that all my guests enjoyed the desserts because I was only left with about 7 mini cupcakes at the end of the night... although I was slightly disappointed not to have more leftover to enjoy the next day! I can't wait for my next excuse to order desserts from Swank!!

  Danetra @ Swank Desserts rated tops on not only the design of the cake, but the cake was also scrumptious! Her customer service was also over the top. Since we were having a destination wedding in Charleston and was depending on reviews and contacting her thru emails and phone conversations for our cake decision, we were so pleasantly pleased! She offered suggestions as well as flavors based on our details to her in regard to type of wedding and the flavors we liked. Thru her expertise we selected a layer of vanilla with raspberry filling and another layer chocolate with cherry filling. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful but the taste was awesome and we received many compliments on both! She was also so willing to add the decor to the cake once she delivered on the day of the wedding based on the fact that we were bringing our cake topper with us from Wisconsin! She was so accommodating to say the least! I would certainly recommend her based on all aspects! Her excitement and outgoing personality and professionalism topped it all off!

  Swank Desserts is amazing! She did a white salted caramel wedding cake for us that was amazing! In addition, she made four kinds of mini cupcakes for our guests. The flavors were dark chocolate with peanut butter, dark chocolate with mint, brown butter maple bacon and banana pudding. Our wedding planner said she never saw desserts fly off trays that quickly. Our dessert table looked amazing thanks to Swank Desserts! We will buy from her again! She is amazing!
