Swan Lake Overlook is the kind of venue that after you tour it once, every other tour pales in comparison! We toured it in December, and it looked amazing. Since then, the venue has been constantly improving the venue by adding extensions, renovating, landscaping, and more. From December when we toured the venue to August of our wedding, our venue was better than what we signed up for!
Moreover, working with Warren, Mechelle, and Sierra was a pleasure. Communications were always responsive and professional, and throughout the entire process of deciding on the venue, approving vendors, and our final planning for the day, they were extremely helpful. Their list of preferred vendors is great, and we ended up using some of them. For the vendors that we brought in externally, the process of getting them approved was smooth and we had 0 issues. Between Sierra and our own day of coordinator, everything was planned perfectly and flowed smoothly on the day of the wedding.
Our wedding was in August, and even though it was very hot and humid outside, the inside had solid AC, and as it turned to evening, even outside was perfect. We were out there for hours taking pictures, and we were fine. Speaking of pictures, the venue was beautiful in August. We were blessed with rain the week before our wedding, and everything was green. The rolling hills, the forest, and the sunset - it was perfect!
Finally, we had glowing feedback from all our guests. They loved the venue and its location and were constantly taking pictures! Additionally, multiple guests complimented how organized everything was such as driving in to the farm and being directed where to park. We're super thankful for Swan Lake and all its staff! -

I got married at Swan Lake Overlook this past August and I would recommend this venue to ANY bride that's getting married. This place checked off all the things I was looking for when I was touring venues. First and foremost, the team at Swan Lake is so easy to work with and while they offer all-inclusive packages, they also allow you to bring on your own vendors, provided that they have insurance. This was a priority for me as I didn't want a cookie cutter type of wedding. Second, the Estate House which is an airbnb type of accommodation on the venue allowed all of our wedding party and their spouses (close to 40 people) to stay in the same place a couple of days leading up to the wedding and the night after the wedding is over. Not only did this make things much more convenient, we also had our Vietnamese Tea Ceremony AND rehearsal dinner at the Estate House and the team at the venue helped us set up chairs and tables for us free of charge. And lastly, Swan Lake is a GORGEOUS venue. It's easy to plan the aesthetic of your wedding when the venue does most of the job for you. And as a bonus, they have a pretty good rain backup plan as well! My guests posted so many pictures from the wedding the days following the event because they truly loved how pretty it was. Swan Lake Overlook was the perfect place for our wedding. The property is stunning and has views of all their land and lake which created perfect background for all our pictures. The hilltop ceremony location and reception venue were beautiful. Mechelle and Warren worked closely with us and were always quick to respond with anything we needed. We highly recommend Swan Lake Overlook for anyone in need of a wedding venue -

Beautiful venue, rain or shine!
It is a beautiful venue for those that love the outdoors but the idea of getting married without A/C makes their skin crawl. It truly is the best of both worlds. Words cannot describe the beauty of this place. Stop searching and go take a tour! You will surely fall in love with it like we did!
It is family owned and operated, so no red tape here! Warren and Michele were so accommodating and wonderful hosts for the weekend!
Be sure to check out the Estate house for family and friends from out of town! -

Most perfect day
I can’t say enough about Swan Lake Overlook and the amazing people that work there. The venue is one of a kind. It is absolutely beautiful from the moment you drive up. Mechelle and Warren are a dream to work with. So accommodating, so helpful, so sweet. I am so thankful for them and for Swan Lake Overlook for the most amazing, beautiful wedding. -

Our son was married at Swan Lake Overlook last weekend. We could not have asked for a more perfect venue or a more perfect experience with the owners. We had a Christmas themed wedding. With the setting of the venue it looked like a winter wonderland. Our friends are still telling us that it was the prettiest wedding that they had ever attended. The owners were so wonderful to work with, paying attention to every detail. There was not a time during the entire process that they did not immediately respond to a phone call or text message. They made sure that everything ran smoothly and that nothing fell through the cracks! The property is totally gorgeous! There are beautiful deer and other animals roaming on the hillsides. You will not find a venue like this one anywhere else around. We highly recommend touring the venue and considering it for your event, we were thrilled with everything !Swan Lake Overlook's reply:

Amazing New Hidden North Georgia Gem
We are so excited to find this new wedding venue and book it for our daughter's fall wedding. The reception space is elegant and rustic with beamed ceilings and beautiful glass showcasing water and hillside. She is planning a hilltop ceremony at sunset in the fall and cannot wait. Mechelle has been great to work with and has accommodated our wishes!
Once the word gets out about this venue, it will get booked up!
Best and largest bridal suite that we have seen. A big plus for us is that you can also bring in your own "adult beverages too!" -

We were so thankful to have the Swan Lake Overlook team on our side for our wedding. They helped make it a truly magical day. It was everything we had dreamed of. They helped bring our vision to life. Their support and guidance through this whole process was amazing. We could not have asked for better staff. They answered every question and helped everything move the way it needed to. The venue was beautiful. We kept hearing that from our guests all night. This venue is already beautiful on its own, but the fact that you can easily make it fit your needs makes it even better.
