I had such a thoroughly helpful and amazing experience at Svetlana Bridal Couture with Natalia! She was so supportive and helped myself and my mother feel comfortable when we went to my first bridal appointment. I fell in love with the dress I tried on and it helped so much to have Natalia's support and encouragement with my selection and her communication about ways in which we can make the dress fit even more of my vision (such as changing it from a sand to an ivory color as well as changing it from having straps to off the shoulder.) I appreciated all the details she shared with me about the process and the literal detail that was put into the dress when I came back for my second and final appointment to find exactly what I had envisioned come to life! Natalia is great at her job of supporting brides with finding and/or developing their dream dress and helping bring this all to life. I highly recommend her and her shop!

The entire process was so smooth. I found the bridal shop by googling in my area. It’s in Port Chester and I would call it a hidden gem!! This is the only shop I went to. All of the dresses were beautiful. Even though I ended up with the a-line style I wanted, I surprisingly ended up loving styles that I never expected! It was a tough decision but I picked it up last weekend and I couldn’t be happier! Natalia was so sweet, helpful and responsive! I would highly recommend checking this place out!!

I can't recommend Svetlana's Bridal Couture in Port Chester enough!! Natalia was attentive, patient and an absolute delight! She made sure I was comfortable in what I was trying on, made sure I knew ALL of my options (she offers so many!!!) and was welcoming and real. She didn't try to upsell- she was upfront about prices, and didn't even mention a veil or accessories until I brought them up. Every single dress I tried on made me feel beautiful even when two of them didn't even fit!! She offers great deals, and made me feel beautiful without being pressured!

Natalia to the rescue
I started my dress journey about a year before my wedding day. We were still, in covid times, I was scared I wouldn't get the dress I wanted in time. I gave myself more than enough wiggle room since I was having a destination wedding. I went to another Bridal shop and had a bad experience. In all fairness, it was more me than the bridal shop. I needed a one-on-one where my consultant focused on me and what I was looking for. At this other place I visited, my consultant was pulled in different directions by other appointments and consultants during my time there trying on dresses. I get it, this is a business. However, what I needed was a one-on-one appointment with no interruptions. After feeling truly defeated we called Svetlana Bridal. Natalia was very accommodating and able to fit me in last minute later that same day. I looked around her studio and told her what I wanted and didn't want. We pulled out a few dresses and tried them on. Her studio is a good size with good lighting. Natalia's appointments are private for you and your guests. She will pull as many dresses as your heart desires and educate you on what you can do to the dress to make it your own.
They all fit amazingly. Natalia gave me hope and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. I ended up with a dress I never expected to wear. She customized it by adding a slit and having it custom fit my measurement instead of having alteration done. Which I highly recommend (unless your goal is to lose weight before the big day). She even added a pop of blush undertone to the skirt. I never felt pressured to buy from her at any time it was just us girls trying on dresses. I cried in my dress. My maid of honor got goosebumps. The experience was all surreal. My dress got to the shop in a great time with a month to spare before the big day. Natalia kept in communication and provided updates about the dress throughout the waiting period. She made some last-minute tweaks to the sleeves (she did this in-house, it took all 15 min) and it was perfect. Highly recommend visiting Natalia at Svetlana's Bridal. Her beautiful selection of dresses is only surpassed by her kindness and understanding. Thank you, Natalia!

Such a wonderful bridal experience with Natalia at Svetlana Bridal! She was so helpful, made great suggestions and gives the one on one attention every bride needs. A lot of other shops have other appointments going on at the same time as you but she makes sure you are the only bride at your appointment. I had waited till last minute to decide what I was going to wear, or hadn’t found the perfect thing just yet. I wore an off white linen suit but had always dreamed of wearing a sweetheart neckline dress (not my style anymore) so I was beyond excited when I could pair my suit with the perfect bridal separate! Magical Blush Dress from Svetlana
I’ve had the most amazing experience working with Natalia at Svetlana Bridal Shop. Back in the fall I came in alone, starting my dress search with no idea where to start. Natalia’s experience quickly narrowed down a few styles for me and she helped me breeze through try-ons for over a dozen dresses during my private appointment in her bright, cheery shop.
We decided a custom style, pulling inspiration from a few gowns, was best for my unique vision. She was so talented and quickly sketched up a sample for me and took measurements. Contract signed and payment up front, all I had to do was wait for their skilled seamstresses to do their magic.
Turmoil in Eastern Europe delayed the arrival of my dress since it was caught up in customs with significant shipping delays through Feb/March. Natalia proactively communicated updates to me and moved mountains to get my dress to NY on time, with a backup dress tailored for me and ready to go just in case. 7 days before the wedding, we were thrilled that my original dress arrived and Natalia personally hand sewed a few final adjustments for me while I was in the shop, making sure I had peace of mind and left with my beautiful dress in hand.
Friends and family commented all weekend that my dress was like a fairytale, that I looked like a princess, and that it was incredibly special. Nothing off the shelf would have made such an impression, and I’m so grateful that Natalia and her team were able to make our wedding so magical. For anyone looking for a personalized experience, peace of mind, and something special - Natalia can make it happen. Thank you!!

I wanted a completely custom veil that was a little different than a traditional one and they NAILED it! I spent weeks looking through sites for a lace choker veil that would match my dress and when I couldn't, I found Svetlana. Natalia knew exactly what I was picturing in my mind and even had lace that matched too perfectly. She was truly my saving grace... her knowledge of fabrics, lace, beading, etc. and attention to detail was everything. It was even more perfect than I pictured it to be, she truly knocked it out of the park. Also, her customer service could not be better. So prompt and so quick every time I sent a message for updates and questions. Amazing find, makes perfect wedding dresses!
When I first met Natalia, I was a little skeptical because everything in the store seemed big and had a lot of fill, but she assured me that any design I liked I could have customized. She had so many beautiful dresses that I tried on to get a sense of what I liked and what would look good. She helped me piece together a perfect custom dress in one session.
One thing that was worrisome was that the dress came in later than expected, only 3 weeks before my wedding which obviously had me worried. I SHOULD NOT HAVE WORRIED. The dress was PERFECT! It fit exactly as she had promised, and looked better than what I had envisioned!
I would absolutely recommend Natalia and Svetlana's Bridal Couture to anybody in need of a wedding dress (and a decent price too!). Fabulous, reliable, and lovely work!

There was a list of brides ateliers, but I quickly decided to find my wedding dress at Swetlana ❤️
I didn’t understand why this name sounded so special for me.
My appointment was at 11:30 and I went there with my mother and my sister.
Natalya was a beautiful and communicative lady.
She showed me a lot of dresses, and she helped me to wear and undress them.
The dress which I decided, was the first sign of love for my sister.
I couldn’t believe that I found my wedding dress on my first day of looking.
I cannot wait to do the pictures and to post them on the website.
Also, I bought my beautiful veil, which I can’t wait to wear.

My Bridal Experience
I absolutely loved this store! Natalia is so amazing - caring and kind. She really listens to what you want in your dress! I love the option of creating your own custom dress without a ridiculous price tag! My dress was custom made for me and it fit perfectly! No alterations needed! My dress, veil, and headpiece all came from this store and they went wonderfully tighter! The crystals on my dress sparkled beautifully! Even when my wedding was postponed, Natalia was there for me!! She even steamed my dress over a year later! I could not have asked for a more perfect dress for my wedding!! I have referred so may friends and family members here, who have also found their dream dress!! Svetlana is the best!

Svetlana is amazing in every way
I had one of the best wedding dress shopping experience I’ve ever had in my entire life at svetlana. I love the fact that it was by appointment only, I loved having the entire store to myself and family with no one rushing us or waiting for another person to finish trying on the dress you want to try on. Being on the plus size side trying on dresses was not difficult because of the various sizes available. Natalia was very welcoming and patient with dealing with us. I love the fact that she referred to me as her bride, she was patient and took in every little detail about what I liked and didn’t like. With each dress I tried on that wasn’t the right one the next was always closer and closer because of how much she paid attention to what I liked and didn’t. I was very comfortable and felt very welcome at svetlana. My dress is breath taking in every way. When I went to pick up my dress designed and cut to fit me the fit was perfect, so perfect I don’t have to worry about any alterations whatsoever. I really enjoyed my time at svetlana and it was definitely worth driving from another state to get to svetlana where I found my dream dress. I couldn’t thank you enough Natalia and Svetlana.

Amazing shop with a kind and caring owner
Svetlana Bridal Couture saved my day! I needed a wedding dress in less than 3 weeks, and I found the most amazing one that, you wouldn't even believe it, fit me perfectly without alterations. They have such beautiful dresses -- unique and not mass produced -- and they carry a variety of sample sizes, so there really is a chance you'll find one (of course they also customize dresses, so if you have more time than I did, you should totally do that!!).
Natalia was so super kind and patient with me, and she even opened up the store on a Sunday evening to come in after I explained my dress emergency on the phone. I would HIGHLY recommend this bridal shop. I am so happy with my dress and with my overall experience.

Fantastic and Prompt Service for a Custom Wedding Dress!
I am incredibly happy that I went with Svetlana Bridal Couture for my wedding dress!! I had originally tried finding a dress designer online, since I wanted something a bit unconventional (I couldn’t see myself in a plain white wedding dress; there needed to be some color in it). After being ghosted by two separate designers on Etsy, my time frame for finding a wedding dress was narrowing—fortunately, though, my best friend recommended the place that she went for her wedding dress, which was Svetlana Bridal! I went into the shop with my friend and found “the dress” that very same day; I probably tried on about 7 or 8 dresses, and everyone agreed on the one dress that worked best for me. On top of that, Natalia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable through the whole process. She scheduled the appointment so my friend and I were the only people in the shop with her, so the experience felt very personalized and not at all stressful. The biggest plus was that Natalia/Svetlana Bridal had a lot of flexibility with customizing the dress to my vision. After falling in love with one of the sample dresses, I asked if the dress could be modified to include some layers of light blue fabric as well as a red 3D rose on the waist, to which Natalia excitedly replied “yes”! I also requested an extension to the train, which was no problem for Svetlana Bridal to accomplish. Considering the fact that this dress needed to be fitted to me and designed in less than 5 months, I was thrilled that Natalia was so accommodating! I would say that the only hiccup in the process was that I did not see a photo of the final dress before it was shipped to the store (when we had agreed to go back and forth with photos until final approval), so I was slightly anxious about the final result once it came in. Fortunately, though, the Svetlana Bridal crew knew exactly what they were doing, and everything was PERFECT and exactly what I was hoping for! The dress was so unique and fit me like a glove, and the incorporation of light blue fabrics, the red rose, and a red lace up corset ribbon in the back made my dress the talk of the wedding! I’m the son of the bride and when we were looking for stores for her dress, there was never any dress that made my mom feel right, as she is one indecisive person. However, when we went into Svetlana, we were welcomed by Natalie, who was such a nice, honest, and patient person. The dresses at her shop were beautiful that it became difficult to pick a dress, so we tried on many dresses, but there was one dress that my mom kept on eyeing the whole time, and once she tried it on everyone knew it was the best for her. Thanks to Natalie we found a dress, because my mom and I knew nothing about dresses, such as fabric and shape, so she told us what she knew making this a learning experience for my mom and I. When we finally got the dress everything was perfect, the size, shape, and the train, that once we left the store my mom couldn’t wait for her wedding. This shop is amazing! the owner, Natalia was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the process and was willing to work with me when I asked for a pop of color in my dress! it turned out exactly the way I had hoped and fits like a glove. I cannot wait to wear it on my wedding day!! the shop is small and you get one on one attention and top notch service. this was the only place I went to and only tried on about 6-7 dresses. she made what could have been an overwhelming, tiresome process totally fun and manageable! i would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding dress!!

I could not have been more thrilled with my experience building my wedding dress at Svetlana Couture.
As a plus sized woman, I was frustrated with the lack of options and flexibility at other vendors. Then I found Svetlana's shop and couldn't have felt more comfortable. Natalia was positive and payed very close attention to what I was looking for. I was able to find a shape I liked and then customize from there with the type of top I wanted and details I preferred. Each dress is custom made and built to your body measurements at Svatlana. At first I was worried that would mean the cost would be greater, but after calculating what it would take to get the dress of my dreams (for me that was a drop waste A-line that was NOT strapless) I found the cost to actually be much less than what I would've paid to add straps to a factory dress with a tailor, plus any alterations needed after I lost some weight. Since you go in 2 or 3 times for final measurements before the dress is completed in Russia, the dress comes out perfect once it arrives, no alterations needed.
The thing that knocked it out of the park for me with Svetlana Couture was that 1 month before my dress was to arrive, I changed my mind and decided that instead of straps, I wanted short sleeves. I was able to walk through exactly what I wanted over the phone with Natalia who runs the boutique and they were able to send me some photo options to choose from and change the dress before it shipped for just an extra $150 or so. That is unheard of elsewhere and put my mind so at ease. The dress was absolutely stunning and I could not have been happier. I now recommend them to everyone and will be returning to the shop with my best friend in August to help her find the dress of her dreams this time! I can't wait to give Natalia another huge hug when I return!

I was looking to have a bolero jacket made for my wedding dress. I went to several places and was either turned down, going to be charged an outrageous price, or they could not make what I had in mind.
I went to Svetlana Bridal and Natalia was absolutely wonderful! She found fabric that matched my dress perfectly, took my measurements, and the jacket was made in Russia. The price was reasonable, and she is extremely prompt with all responses. The jacket looks like was made for my dress! It fits perfectly and they even added buttons to match the back of my dress.
Amazing does not begin to describe it! She also had a veil that matched the fabric of the dress and jacket. I felt like a queen and it would not have been possible without Svetlana Bridal! I cannot wait for my wedding day!! Thank you Natalia for being an angel and making my vision a reality.

Natalia from Svetlana Bridal was amazing to work with! I planned my wedding in 2 months and she was able to create and do my final fitting in time. She also supplied beautiful veils and headpieces. The dress fit me perfectly even though I was 5 months pregnant. The dress designers even added their own touches to make my dress special and unique. Her schedule was very accommodating and if someone were to ask who I recommend, it would most definitely be Svetlana Bridal!

I'm so happy I found Svetlana Bridal Couture. I'm skinny and it wasn't easy to find a dress. Natalia was very helpful. I fell in love with a dress she gave me. As if it was made specially for me. Natalia could not have been more professional nor more helpful. My daughter made a lot of changes to the dress, all of which were no problem for the staff and, the final change was made just a month prior to delivery - our bride wanted an entirely different top. Again, smooth and easy response - "of course we can do it". I love that aside from the cost of an additional yard of lace, there were no charges for all the changes and when the dress arrived, it needed NO alterations at all. It was a perfect fit, design and dress. We left the shop with a VERY VERY HAPPY BRIDE TO BE. Kudos to Natalia and the entire Svetlana team.

Natalia was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end - she is knowledgeable, accommodating, and responsive. There are many beautiful dresses in the shop, but Natalia helped me to customize one style in particular to get the exact look I wanted.

You will absolutely not be disappointed! Literally, JUST GO! I was on the verge of tears before coming across Svetlana Bridal and in a time crunch. I wasn't finding anything I loved in a reasonable price range. We created the dress of my dreams ... STRAIGHT out of my dreams. The details were perfect as well as the craftsmanship. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured! Natalia takes such care of her customers. Each bridal appointment is just you (the bride) and the bride's girls. No other customers! No matter what "boutique" I went to, everything felt so industrialized and not like a truly unique experience. At Svetlana, it felt as if Natalia was my magic fairy god mother ready to grant me any wish! We worked so closely together on choosing the best material for the look I wanted as well as budget. I wouldn't have changed this experience for anything!

I made a last minute appointment at Svetlana and they were able to fit me in right away. I had already seen a few dresses at other stores and was underwhelmed with the selections, but I got to Svetlana's and I loved almost every dress I tried on! I came in with a casual tea length dress in mind but ended up leaving with a gorgeous, one of a kind gown that I absolutely LOVE! Natalia was so incredibly helpful in not only suggesting dresses but also accessories - including a skirt to go underneath the dress so I didn't have to take the dress up ( it would have only required very minor alterations due to my height) but it saved me the time and money. I was able to take my dress home that day! If you're able to fit into a sample size, they offer a significant discount rather than making your dress from scratch. I would recommend Svetlana's to any bride and please make sure to ask for Natalia!
