Before even being engaged I knew I wanted Susan to be our photographer. I had followed her Instagram for some time and was (and still am) obsessed with the light airiness of her photos. She has worked at the venue we wanted multiple times which was an added bonus - she knows the staff at the venue and knew all the spots to get the perfect photos, even on a misty dreary day. Our friends and family were still talking about our engagement photos a year later at our wedding and they haven’t stopped talking about our wedding photos yet! Taking photos was easy and fun because she guided us through the whole thing.
From my first email with Susan I knew we would click. She felt like a friend through the process more than a vendor. Through every crazy idea I had planning she kept me levelheaded. Every tiny question I had she took the time to answer and made sure I was confident in my decisions. Her vendor recommendations were outstanding and I based my whole wedding off the timeline she made (around sunset of course!). Working with Susan was a dream! -

Susan was the very FIRST vendor I booked because I knew I wanted her to be a part of my wedding day! I chose my date based on her availability- that's how badly I wanted to have her! I loved her romantic, airy style. Every photo is magazine worthy! Susan was the best support throughout the wedding process. I had a small, intimate ceremony and did not use a wedding planner. Susan helped me create a wedding day timeline and checked in with me leading up to my day. Susan's cheerful, fun energy brought so much FUN to my day! I was worried about how I would look in my photos, but Susan helped me with posing and directed my husband and me. The results were beautiful and I'm so happy with her work! The best experience ever
BY far the best experience we’ve ever had. Susan was the most laid back but boss lady ever. She was not rude or snarky with direction, she was your BEST FRIEND throughout the entire day. And same with her staff. I always worried about being “controlled” by the photographer but that is NOT how Susan performs. She is legitimately your bestie all day and the way she communicates is with tons of fun, good vibes and just all around genuine. Love her so much and we will always love her forever!!! -

The Best!!
Susan is the best photographer there is!! If you are reading this- book her now! Susan only books a certain amount of weddings each year, so be sure to reach out to her as soon as possible. Susan is a friend, a planner, and a photographer throughout your entire wedding process. Prior to us even booking Susan, she spent a full hour talking to us- learning about us, sharing with us her process, and going through what all the next steps would look like. Susan takes an incredible personal approach to every couple she works with. Susan plans your entire wedding timeline for you – this is a huge help when planning your wedding day. She also guides you with many helpful hints, tricks, and guides- but ultimately respects what decisions you make for your wedding. I ran into many weather challenges and Susan was an amazing help through it all. For our engagement shoot- we had to reschedule twice due to rain and wind- as we were shooting on a beach. During each of these “reschedules”, Susan would call me to go through the pro’s and con’s of whether we would move forward with the shoot or not. For the wedding day, when rain was becoming a reality in the forecast, Susan talked to me on the phone for an hour to help me understand how she would make the day work regardless. I am a very type A/ planner person who loves sunshine, and I can honestly say Susan made the rain a non-issue on my wedding day, and majority of the pictures you could not even tell it was raining. Susan also put herself straight in the rain countless times to ensure I got the photos I was dreaming of- and they were light, airy and incredible!! Susan is also so much fun, very kind, and easy to work with! You become a friend during the process and as Susan is editing she will frequently text you “sneak peaks” which is so much fun to be able to see the photos come to life live. I cannot thank Susan enough for all her help through the entire wedding process, and how amazing she was on the wedding day!! -

Susan and her team are simply the best in the business.
We first met Susan when she perfectly captured our engagement mid-pandemic in August 2020. My husband and I live in London and Susan was happy to make all of the plans with him from an ocean away. She was available to discuss logistics over Zoom and FaceTime with my husband at times that were convenient for him at early morning and late evening hours. His original Spring Lake beach proposal plans went off the tracks when a major rain storm rolled through just an hour beforehand. Susan seamlessly worked with my husband and my best friend over text message (unbeknownst to me!) to replan the entire proposal in 30 minutes in order to avoid the rain. She provided several suggestions and changed her physical location multiple times just to ensure we had the perfect proposal that she could capture. Susan could have just waited for my husband to cancel or declined his request to change everything at the last minute but instead she went above and beyond her role as our photographer in order to make our proposal unforgettable. Even with dark skies and a rainy backdrop, Susan was able to capture our proposal as if it were in perfect conditions, as you can see in the photos here.
After this experience we knew we would be crazy not to use Susan and her team on our wedding day. As all newly engaged couples know, we were very unsure of exactly what we needed / wanted from our photo vendor on our wedding day. Still living in London, Susan was again happy to work around our schedules in order to discuss our vision and talk us through our package options. We ended up deciding on 10 hours of coverage with two photographers and an assistant. The package included color + black and white versions of all of our photos along with one wedding album. Susan worked with us to ensure we stayed within our budget and even gave us a bit of a discount as returning customers of hers. The loyalty is real! :)
In the weeks leading up to our May 2022 wedding, Susan laid out an extensive timeline for us ensuring that she and her team could capture every moment of our big day. Without her guidance we would have been lost in deciding how to plan out when to get ready on the morning of, when to arrive at the church, how much time to allow for photos before the reception, when to pop outside for sunset photos, when to cut the cake, etc.
A week before our wedding we had a change of heart and decided to add an extra hour of photo coverage. Susan was right on top of it and within hours had a re-drafted contract over to us to review and sign.
On the day of the wedding, Susan and her team were exceptional in capturing every moment. Susan and her assistant, Lindsay, joined the bridesmaids and I at my house in the morning while her second photographer, Jane, joined my husband and the groomsmen at the hotel to capture us getting ready. Both arrived early giving us extra photo time that we had not even paid for. They kept everything at both locations on time and orderly and budgeted plenty of time to capture candid shots of both parties, detail shots, and bride/groom portraits. It is never easy being in front of the camera for so long but they both made it fun and effortless for us (while teaching us the proper ways to pose for photos!).
Just prior to the church ceremony Susan went out of her way to give us both calming words of advice as we got set to tie the knot. Her and her team seemed essentially invisible during the ceremony while getting the most incredible photos of us, the church, and our guests.
Our wedding day continued the extreme weather pattern of our engagement by being a sunny 95 degrees in mid May. When it was time for family and bridal party photos outside after the ceremony Susan took the weather into account, altered plans a bit on the fly, and planned the sessions to allow the groups not imminently involved in photos to wait on the air conditioned trolley until it was their turn. On a cloudless day with the sun shining very brightly Susan had suggestions on modified angles and locations in order to get the best lighting for all of our photos. One of our planned photo locations (at a bridge on the lake) meant a lot to us but was not an ideal spot for a photographer at that time of day due to the sun. Even though Susan suggested we move elsewhere she listened to our desire to use this location, got creative, and made our vision a reality. The photos came out absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have been happier with her guidance and direction.
Susan kept all 24 (!) of us in the bridal party on schedule and got us to our cocktail hour 20 minutes before it started as originally planned. This allowed her to get some great shots of our venue spaces before prepping her and her team for the reception. When the formalities of the reception were finished Susan made sure to grab us ahead of schedule for sunset photos as she noticed the sun was soon going to dip under a nearby bridge near our venue. She was on top of every single small detail that we never would have noticed with her. She was an amazing team player and worked great with our videographer (who she had never worked with before) to ensure they could simultaneously get the footage and photos needed without using up too much of our precious time.
From start to finish, everything Susan and her team did on that day significantly exceeded our expectations. Their professionalism was unmatched while also making the entire day fun and stress free. Our bridesmaids and groomsmen raved about her and how effortless she made it all seem for us and herself. Within 18 hours of leaving our reception Susan had provided us with 60 fully edited shots from our big day so that we could share with friends and family and on social media. A couple of weeks later we had our entire series of edited wedding photos (thousands) sent to us via her easy to use website link and organized into folders for each part of the day. Downloading the photos to laptops and phones was super easy and allowed us to share her amazing work instantly.
Susan also happens to have a great social media presence and put together numerous jaw dropping and emotional Instagram Reels of our wedding day which further displayed her commitment and passion for each and every wedding she captures. A couple of those reels ended up going somewhat viral with hundreds of thousands of views which was an awesome cherry on top to an already exceptional experience. She truly makes it feel as if your wedding is the most important wedding of her life, even though she’s doing several weddings per week in peak season.
The actual photos speak for themselves but needless to say we were absolutely thrilled with the end product. Susan’s unique editing style makes every photo feel bright and lively without losing the vibrance of the wedding environment. We could not be happier with how each and every photo came out.
The only difficult part of the entire process was when it came time for the wedding album design a couple of months after our wedding day. We simply had too many exceptional photos to choose from! However, Susan’s design team guided us through the process seamlessly and created samples for us to pick and choose from while easily allowing us to swap photos in and out during our zoom session. The album is a perfect representation of our wedding day and all of the great work that Susan and her team did.
We could not recommend using Susan as your wedding photographer more adamantly. Choosing her to cover your wedding will not only be a great decision to ensure you have fantastic photos when all is said and done but will also put you at ease by having one less major component of your wedding to worry about. Susan has everything under control on her side and you will not need to manage her like you will with other vendors. In fact, she will go above and beyond by helping you manage your vendors with her best advice and tips, manage your wedding day timelines end to end, and craft your wedding experience as a whole in line with your vision.
Thank you so much to Susan, Jane, and Lindsay for the exceptional service on the greatest day of our lives. Our wedding day truly would not have been the same without you. We are so grateful to have these amazing photos to look back on to remember our special day.

Susan was one of our first vendors we booked and I am SO happy we did !! From our first conversation together I knew we needed to book her ! She helped me figure out my timeline and helped me with any questions throughout the planning process (this was my first wedding I needed tons of help). Our best friends used Susan for their wedding in 2019, and once I saw their wedding photos I just knew I had to have her for our special day. We had such an amazing experience for both our engagement and wedding day photos and just overall throughout the entire wedding planning process. Susan is incredibly talented and very personable which just made the whole process so easy and fun. Susan was the first vendor we booked for our July 9, 2022 wedding, and it was the best decision we ever made! From the very beginning Susan was extremely sweet, personable and easy to get along with. True passion, dedication and class!
We found Susan Elizabeth on Instagram and I immediately fell in love with her creative work. After having chatted on the phone, we loved how easy it was to speak to Susan and how she understood where we were coming from. We bonded over our shared love of details, and color palettes.
My husband and I wanted someone with a larger-than-life personality to match our energy and vibes for the day of our wedding and she completely brought a passion and energy that made us and our whole bridal party ready for lights camera action!
During the planning process, Susan was always so responsive to my many questions and concerns I had. I could expect a response from her within 24 hours and usually much quicker than that. She was as invested as we were in creating our timeline, ensuring we had time for the photos we wanted, and understanding our wedding photography priorities and to also get to enjoy our wedding day. Susan and I outlined the exact steps that would happen next, so we were never left wondering what was going on. It made us feel that we were being guided by a true professional through a process she was a master at!
I will never ever get over getting every picture I wanted despite a thunderstorm! I had specific pictures I wanted to get in specific locations and she did whatever she had to do to get every single shot including a tribute to my grandparents that she duplicated spot on, us outside at night under a sky of fireworks and She even surprised my husband with an American flag shot and really made his day.
The morning after our wedding she provided us with many sneak peaks to share with friends and family. I was truly wondering when she gets time to sleep.
I would Reccomend susan Elizabeth to anyone who has high expectations for wedding photos. I am forever grateful for her and her team for executing our day. I would do it all again just to have another day with Susan and her team!!!! -

Stop reading this and just hire Susan now… before she gets snatched up for your date because she IS and deserves to be in such high demand. I am a COVID bride and had a SUPER long 3 year engagement and I can confidently say that Susan was by far the best vendor I worked with. She is obviously an amazing photographer (and I have 3 sets of photos to prove it - engagement, backyard microwedding, then our full wedding), but what's even more important is that she is an amazing PERSON first and foremost. From our first phone call in the beginning, I knew we made the right decision… we joked, she gave me her honest advice on everything, but was never pushy and was always accommodating. Then, when COVID hit, Susan became more than just a vendor and became a true friend. As horrible as it was to have to postpone our wedding, Susan's kindness made all the difference when everything was falling apart around us. I texted her 7 weeks before our original date asking if it was time to start chatting about our options and she immediately called me (even though it was later in the evening) and said a conversation like that wasn't something to discuss over text and literally became a virtual shoulder for me to cry on. She patiently stayed on the phone with me for an hour comforting me while I cried. This is something I'll forever be grateful to her for because it was the first relief I'd felt in weeks when everything was shutting down. I always felt comfortable reaching out to Susan for everything (and we still text from time to time even now!), and so did my now husband. They even arranged for Susan to surprise me at our backyard microwedding! It's easy to see that your photos will turn out STUNNING, but the peace of mind you get with Susan knowing she's literally got each of her bride's backs definitely puts her in a league of her own. My husband and I were SO happy with Susan - we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. It was dark, gloomy, and rainy on our wedding day and she somehow managed to capture the best photos (all bright and airy - as this is her specialty)!! She is talented, organized, and knows exactly what she's doing when it comes to weddings! She did an amazing job at directing us for the perfect shots and kept things moving as the day got very chaotic at times. She's got a boss babe mentality and no matter what goes wrong she's always positive and carries an "I got this" attitude. She was the type of vendor that you can put full trust in for doing a good job and know she will go above and beyond to make sure the day runs smoothly. I had Susan photograph my mini COVID wedding last year and my full wedding/reception this year and I have to say she really is amazing! You can see she’s an amazing photographer but her role in my days went way above and beyond expectations. She was there to answer questions when I was selecting color palettes and groomsmen ties, she put the day timeline together well in advance, and she helped keep everyone in line the day of. But best of all was how fun she was to be with the day of. All my girls loved her and so did the guys! I’m so happy I went with Susan and would recommend to anyone who will listen! -

There truly aren't enough words to describe how AMAZING Susan is. From our first meeting with Susan, we knew we had to have her to capture our big day. Throughout the whole planning process, Susan was always there to answer any and all questions we had and helped to give guidance on the timeline for the day of. Not only is her work out of this world incredible, Susan is also the sweetest/most fun person ever.
Heading into our engagement session, we were both a little nervous at first because we had never done a photo session before. By the end, our cheeks hurt – not from smiling for pictures – but from laughing so hard because Susan made the whole experience so fun and easy.
Susan as an eye to capture moments so perfectly. She is able to solve any issue that may get thrown at you on your big day: crazy lighting, bad weather, you name it. Susan is so creative and finds a way to ensure that if something doesn’t go to plan, when looking back at her pictures, you would never think that it didn’t look as perfect in real-time! (I mean…what more could a bride want!!)
We have not stopped receiving compliments on how amazing the photos from the wedding came out. We are so lucky that we have these photos to look back on to remember our wedding forever! We know – wedding planning can be overwhelming with so many vendors to choose from. But we can promise that if you choose Susan, you will be making the absolute BEST decision for your big day!!! -

Best decision!
Susan was one of the best decisions we made when it came to vendors for our wedding. We initially hired a different photography company when we first started planning in 2019 and after we had an engagement session with them, we decided we did not want to move forward with them for our wedding day. We were looking for a new photographer and Susan was the first photographer we met with (out of 6) on a zoom call in the middle of 2020. My husband and I both loved her personality and could tell how detailed she was and how much she cared about her clients and the photos she took. After meeting with the other photographers, no one compared to our meeting with her and we decided to move forward. Booking with Susan is an EXPERIENCE. She is truly an expert at what she does and sends you so much helpful information along the way so that you are prepared for your wedding day – she wants your pics to turn out beautiful just as much as you do! On our wedding day, Susan and her team were amazing. They kept everything moving and made sure we stayed on time but still managed to keep a calm and fun energy throughout the day. My bridal party was also raving about her and her team. Even after the wedding, she kept in touch and would send sneak peaks and the turnaround time for her to send us the photos was so quick! The way she organizes the photos in her gallery is so helpful. She is a true professional and I could go on and on about how amazing she is. I would recommend her 10/10! -

Susan is by far my most favorite vendor from my August 2021 wedding! A friend had sent me Susan’s work just after getting engaged and I was BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful her pictures are. That night I completed Suan’s inquiry form! During our scheduled call to go over initial info and details about her process, I knew I wanted her to be my wedding photographer and to look no further. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about all things wedding photography, but she is friendly and so down to earth - it’s like talking to a friend!
I was super nervous going into the engagement shoot, not knowing what to expect, but Susan made it so fun and comfortable for my fiance and I. I typically get super uncomfortable in front of the camera and like very few pictures of myself, but that was not the case with her behind the lens! Susan gave us incredible direction, was patient with our puppy who we wanted included in some photos, and was able to find amazing spots for some of the best photos! The pictures she showed on the camera during the shoot were amazing! We had our gallery back so quickly and as she was editing she texted me pictures as well. I am still in awe of how beautiful the pictures are! We received so many compliments on them since we used 4 pictures for our Save the Date!
Leading up to our wedding, Susan put together an amazing timeline that left out no detail! I could not have been more thankful that she included so much information so that I was able to articulate to my venue, videographer, and other vendors exactly what was needed and when so that we had enough time for our first look, bridal party pictures, and family photos before our ceremony. Susan even shared an awesome list of things to include in our detail photo boxes for amazing detail pictures!
On the day of my wedding, Susan, her second photographer, Laura, and her assistant, Bella, were fabulous! She has the best energy and was always making sure things were happening how they needed to and directed everything to provide the most amazing pictures! Every picture was GORGEOUS. That night she had even edited pictures from our first look and bridal party pictures to show during the reception. It was such a special touch and so many of my family loved being able to see our photos from earlier in the day.
In the days after our wedding, Susan continued our excitement by turning some pictures into a gif and even made an Instagram reel as a glimpse into our wedding day. I’m OBSESSED and love having those to look back on in the years to come! Our gallery was delivered to us faster than we ever anticipated! The pictures are PRICELESS!! More than I ever could have imagined and I truly cannot choose a favorite.
Susan, thank you for being the most AMAZING wedding photographer and making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I’m so grateful to have these pictures to relive this day for the rest of my life! -

Absolutely Amazing !
From the first phone call with Susan, I knew she was my mine and my husbands perfect match! Susan is amazing at what she does and makes you feel so comfortable being in front of the camera, and also becomes your friend during the process! We unfortunately were affected by Covid and had to post pone a few times, but Susan made it so easy to talk it out and figure out how to navigate all the postponing. I loved how creative Susan was as well, the day of our wedding on July 29th, we were in the middle of a HUGE tornado warning, she had all of these ideas up her sleeve I wasn't the least bit concerned if our photos would turn out ok... the teasers are absolutely flawless! Susan is unlike any photographer I have ever met. I had seen her work from a friend who had her photograph her wedding, and instantly knew that when it was my turn that Susan would be my first phone call. I remember getting on the call with Susan the first time and feeling like a friend that I hadn't caught up with in years. She was so friendly. sweet and funny and we hit it off. Our engagement shoot had to be rescheduled a few times due to weather and Susan was great about being flexible to make it happen! Our shoot was absolutely amazing, she gives incredible direction and shows pictures right off the camera, her work is out of this world.
We got to check in a few days before the wedding and she went through the final timeline. I dont think I can stress enough how amazing that timeline was. It was amazing, it detailed out every single thing that needed to happen from the time we needed to get ready to the time the night ended. I LOVED IT.
The day of the wedding Susan was amazing, making sure things were exactly how they needed to be, directing where things needed to be for photos etc. She ran the show! Every single photo she took was STUNNING. I have never seen more beautiful photos in my life, it felt like I was reliving the day all over again :).
Thank you for making me feel so comfortable in front of the camera, but thank you for just being the most hands down amazing photographer ever! -

Susan and her assistant, Amberlee, were absolutely phenomenal on the day of our wedding. They considered every single detail and put care and thought into getting every shot so that not a single experience was missed. It is obvious that Susan is a consummate professional who has a true passion for capturing every one of her couple's special moments. We started with an engagement session about 8 months before our wedding. We were worried that we would feel awkward an uncomfortable since we are not great in photos, but Susan made us feel so comfortable and at ease. I have said “Susan is amazing” no less than 10,000 times during our wedding planning! I knew immediately Susan was it and we were in good hands! Her honesty is what I appreciated the most. She took the time to chat with me and help me understand and see how certain decisions we made would shape our wedding day. At the end of the day it is your wedding and she supports your decisions but her knowledge and understanding helped making these decisions easier for Ryan and I. She is unbelievably talented and her attention to detail is so on point and amazing. I strongly encourage booking engagement photos too. Ryan and I never had never taken a professional picture before in our lives and that time with Susan allowed us to get to know each other but also prepared us for what to expect on our wedding day. Susan made it effortless for us when it came to providing a list of what is needed for wedding day photos to planning the wedding day timeline to making our wedding day run smoothly! Susan is by far the best of the best. My husband and I absolutely love her and she is so fun to hang out with all day long on your wedding day. She is so prompt, knows her stuff, and take GORGEOUS pictures of the best day ever that you can cherish for the rest of your lives!! From the moment we first reached out to Susan our experience working with her was effortless and enjoyable. She is easy to communicate with and worked with us to reschedule our engagement photos several times due to bad weather! My fiance and I were anxious about spending 2 hours taking engagement photos but Susan makes you feel totally comfortable and natural throughout the whole experience. She accommodated all of our last minute requests including getting our dog into photos! She is professional and gets her job done but also can't help but make you (and family and friends!) have fun while working with her. The photos from our wedding are flawless. Sometimes when I look at them I still can't believe they are of our wedding! All of our friends and family are blown away with how they turned out and we will cherish them forever! Would absolutely book Susan again and also highly recommend ordering a wedding album through her. Totally worth the money! -

Words cannot express how happy we are to have had Susan as our photographer! We came across her photos on Instagram and knew right away we had to see if she would be available for our wedding.
Susan and her team made our wedding day run completely seamlessly. They know exactly what they’re doing and there’s no need for you as a bride (or groom) to have to think or stress about absolutely anything the day of - with Susan everything was planned out in advance, which made the big day run perfectly. Susan is also soooo caring and made me and my wedding party feel so comfortable taking photos, too!

I could literally write a book about how amazing Susan was on our wedding day (and before!) Everything leading up to our day was 100% organized from payments to an entire outline of everything we could expect from her for the day to what we needed for her to take amazing pictures on the wedding day! On the day of, she was like a friend hanging out with us while we were getting ready! She captured perfect moments during our ceremony and made us look like professional models during the photos!
She also gave us about 30 preview photos literally the NEXT DAY for us to share with family and friends! We got our entire album within a few weeks!
Literally every picture was perfect - which I expected based on her amazing instagram (which is actually how I found Susan - thank goodness!). She is worth every single penny and we couldn't have asked for a better person to capture our wedding day! -

I don't have enough amazing things to say about my experience working with Susan and the quality of her photographs that I just received! When I was first looking into wedding photographers, what set Susan apart from others was her willingness to work with our requests. My now-husband and I didn't want to do a first look and had a tight timeline for the day, and Susan didn't pressure us to reconsider options or stress me out about timing. Not only that, but she managed to finish everything in time for us to attend our cocktail hour. My very camera shy husband was nothing short of a pain in the butt while getting photos done, but Susan and her second photographer Jamie couldn't have put him more at ease. They had us both laughing and truly made the experience enjoyable. I didn't have the opportunity to get engagement photos done by her since I live out of state, but on the day of the wedding it was as if we knew her for years! The best thing we did for our wedding was hire Susan. Pictures were so important to me, being the only thing we could truly hold on to from the day, so I really shopped around. But the second I saw Susan’s portfolio and we spoke, I knew I found our photographer. She was bubbly, energetic, and genuine. And that showed the day of our wedding. Susan just crushed it, plain and simple! From the first time we spoke to her it was clear that she was a pro. She knew exactly what needed to be done and the photos spoke for themselves. Susan was the first vendor we booked for our wedding (October 2018). She set the tone for the rest of our planning process & it was the best decision ever. Right off the bat, Susan made us feel very comfortable and understood exactly what we were looking for. She was easy to talk to and treated us like friends, not just another client. We first met Susan face-to-face at our engagement shoot. She and her husband were lovely and very easy to work with. Despite it being incredibly windy, Susan made the shoot extremely enjoyable. We had a great time and highly recommend it to anyone who is questioning whether or not they should add it to their package. It was the BEST way for us to get to know each other and for her to get a feel for what we were comfortable with... and the photos were amazing!
Leading up to the wedding, Susan was very proactive about confirming the shooting plan and timing with the other vendors. She was always available for questions and was easy to get a hold of. The week of, there was news that a Nor'easter would be passing through the weekend of our wedding (ugh). Susan called and reassured us that everything was going to be fine and worked out a back-up plan just in case. On the day of, Susan and her second shooter were very organized and easy to work with. Even though we had to shoot everything in one spot due to weather, she made the most of it (you'd never know it was storming by looking at the pics!). They worked seamlessly with the other vendors and made the hours leading up to the ceremony stress-free. During the reception, Susan and her team were complete professionals - they got every shot we could hope for and were respectful of giving us and our family space when needed. We never felt like we had to slow down our night for a picture.
All in all - WORK WITH SUSAN. She's a professional and I couldn't imagine the day without her! The photos were absolutely gorgeous and something we'll cherish forever! :) -

I was ecstatic when I first came across Susan's work. She captured the raw special moments throughout the wedding process, from the engagement to the wedding, and has an eye for light. Hiring Susan was one of the best decisions I made in the wedding planning process. I found her through looking at her photos on social media and reading reviews like this one – everything her couples rave about is true. She is AMAZING. Your photographer is one of the most important people you will hire. They are with you ALL day. As soon as we finished our engagement session with her (which I highly recommend doing), we knew we were in the best hands. She made us feel SO comfortable and her directions are specific that you can’t possibly mess up. She knows how to pose you in a way that looks natural and organic. When she tells you to point your toe, trust her and point it. She has this natural ability to know what translates well through her lens and what doesn’t. TRUST her! Her personality is upbeat, fun and she makes you feel so comfortable. You spend so much time taking photos. You want someone there who will keep the mood happy and fun and she does! I also need to mention her detail shots. Susan is just as good at capturing these and she is at photographing people. She magically makes your wedding day details you want to remember look like a styled shoot. Another thing I love about Susan is how organized she is. She has a system down and it works. She works with you to create a timeline so you don’t have to worry about the logistics of that day. I cannot emphasize how helpful that was. Susan LOVES her job and takes pride in her work and it shows through her beautiful photos. The hardest part will be choosing which photos to frame – she is THAT good.I feel like I can relive that day over and over because she managed to capture every special moment. After going through the wedding planning process and all the stresses leading up to the wedding day and on the day, I never once had to worry about getting amazing pictures to capture the day. Working with Susan is like having a wedding planner as well! She gives the BEST insight leading up to the big day (her magazine of details to have for the day and photoshots she sent us was something I consistently looked for for advice). When she arrives the day of your wedding she basically coordinates everything with the other vendors and keeps the wedding moving ensuing enough time to capture all the moments you and your new spouse will cherish forever. Once I started doing my research I came across Susan Elizabeth and instantly fell in love with her work. The light and bright photographs were all so beautiful and exactly what I wanted for my big day. After talking on the phone with Susan I realize instantly that I made the right choice and she was someone that would be very easy to work with. The day of my wedding was the first time we actually met (we opted out of engagement photos because we had a photographer at our proposal & live in another state) but it felt like I had already known her just by interacting on social media and being a part of her "brides" FB group. Her knowledge of all-things-wedding really helped me along the way and during the chaos of the wedding day. Due to the weather our only option for photos before the church was in my parent's house, we moved the kitchen table and took pics in front of the wall of windows. She kept saying "trust me, you won't know this is a kitchen when you see the pics!" and she was right! Her ability to transform a room into a beautiful photo was amazing! Our wedding was 2 weeks ago so we have only seen a sneak peek of the photos, but they are unbelievable so far! Susan & Jaye were a pleasure to work with, I'd recommend 10/10 times!

Kelly Sent on 03/07/2018I stumbled upon Susan’s website randomly and did some serious stalking! I was blown away but how gorgeous every picture she posted was. I was obsessed with her editing and immediately messaged her to find out more. I must have inquired with a dozen photographers and she was the only one who got back to me asking if we could hop on the phone to chat and see if we would be a good fit! I appreciated this so much, especially when almost everything is done via text and email! As soon as I called her we stayed on the phone for over an hour and I was sold! After chatting for just 5 minutes I felt like we were old friends and I knew I needed to hire her!
Throughout my planning process I must have asked her a million questions and she always answered and never seemed annoyed (thanks for that Susan!!!). The day of the wedding she and her 2nd shooter, Ashley, showed up on time and ready to go (even prepared with umbrellas for us to use for pics since it was raining!!) Even when we were running late Susan made sure we stuck to our timeline as much as possible so that I would get all of the pictures I wanted.
We got our gallery today, after just 2.5 weeks, and I am completely blown away. The pictures are exactly like I hoped and dreamed they would be and I will forever be grateful to Susan for capturing our day perfectly!!! I will sing your praise to anyone who will listen and highly recommend you to anyone I know!!!! Thank you again for everything!!! -

She sends out questionnaires along the way to get to know her couples, and creates a timeline that is very helpful in planning the wedding day. She is extremely responsive to emails, and will give you advice on anything you ask for. We did both our engagement and wedding photos with her, and were so beyond happy with the results. During the sessions, she makes you feel very comfortable, and coaches you so that the poses look and feel natural, and makes the long photo sessions fun. She is so creative, and has so much experience that she really knows how to find the best locations and lighting to give you amazing photos. Her second shooter for our wedding day, Amber, was also absolutely wonderful to work with. All of our family and friends were so impressed with their professionalism and expertise. Susan is also very excellent at delivering photos as soon as she can. Our engagement photos were ready within days of our session. The morning after the wedding, I woke up and Susan had already posted 16 sneak peek wedding photos on my Facebook page so that we could see them before we went away for our honeymoon.
