Bonnie did an incredible job with our wedding. The Chuppah, bouquets, and centerpieces were absolutely stunning. She was helpful throughout the process and was available to talk through ideas. Anything you envision, she can get it done! I came up with an idea for centerpieces that she had never done before, and she executed it better than I could have hoped. The Superior team also helped with other elements like tree rentals and drapery that make the space even more beautiful. Your wedding will be in great hands with Superior!

I would give 6 stars if I could. If you're hosting a wedding or event, use Superior! Bonnie was the best person to work with and she made it incredibly easy to execute on our vision. Bonnie and the team at Superior Florists were fantastic. We decided on a short engagement and family-only wedding with only 7 weeks notice, for the beginning of wedding season. That was no problem for Bonnie and her team. They took us on and ran with our needs for table center pieces and a bridal bouquet. Bonnie was knowledgeable and offered fantastic guidance, as we didn't have many specifics in mind. We loved their arrangements and my bouquet was beautiful. I am not a flower person, and started every conversation with Bonnie that way. She was creative and flexible and helped curate perfect arrangements and 'candlescapes' for my wedding at an extremely reasonable price for NYC standards. I loved everything from my arch to my bouquet. Bonnie was very knowledgeable and even dropped my bouquet and husband's boutineer at our hotel (second location) so we could use them in photos. I could not recommend Superior Florist more for your big day. As a bride, I was not quite sure what I wanted my florals to be, but I mostly just knew that I wanted to capitalize on the colors that would be reflected in the sunset. Steve was extremely helpful in guiding me to choosing florals that were visually stunning, and offering recommendations for changes I could make when considering my finances. I could not have been more pleased with my wedding day florals and the execution, presentation, and table arrangements were all flawless. Steve was completely transparent about the entire process from start to finish, which was not the experience I had when I was reaching out to different vendors. I trusted him and could not imagine using any other florist!

Bang for the buck.
We got married at a venue that required using one of four florists. Not only was Superior the least expensive AND the most responsive of the four, Bonnie worked with us on getting the right flowers for our price range, tailored the bouquet and centerpieces to both my bride's wishes and the flowers already at the venue, listened to our feedback, and gave us some fun little extras we didn't even know we were getting. Everything, from the corsages to the petals on the aisle to the sweetheart table arrangement, was absolutely gorgeous. We're so happy we chose Superior, because that's what they were.

Coastal Floral Vision Come to Life!
Steve and the Superior Florist team were amazing to work with for my wedding! Everything was so perfect and the way I imagined it! I had collected blue and white vases for our escort card table, and I loved the special arrangements that Steve and his team incorporated. Perfect Pastel Disco
The team at Superior was AMAZING! They were so accommodating and flexible. Our venue told us they would allow the team in at 4:00 PM to set up, but didn't let our team in until 6:00 PM and Superior got RIGHT TO WORK and did a quick and fantastic job setting up. Bonnie was truly wonderful at listening to all the crazy ideas, consolidating everything into my vision, (which turned out exactly the way I envisioned), and incorporating some of my mom's wedding dress and a remembrance trinket onto my flowers. There were some last-minute changes and we also requested the use of our own disco ball decor and Superior was amazing at helping actualize our vision. We couldn't have been happier.

Made sure our wedding was beautiful!
Once we chose a wedding venue, we were told by the event coordinator that they would only work with four florists, which we thought was unusual, but certainly made that search simpler. After having worked with Bonnie at Superior Florist, it was easy to see why they were so highly regarded. Bonnie was incredibly flexible, empathetic and accommodating, and executed our vision beautifully. My only regret is that, because the wedding was on the east coast and I live on the west coast, I couldn’t take any flowers with me on the flight home. But at least we have the pictures to remind us of how beautiful and romantic the arrangements were. We couldn’t have been happier.

Superior Florist certainly lives up to its name! Bonnie was fantastic to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. She was very communicative and able to translate our inspiration images into reality while keeping our budget in mind. It was an added bonus to be able to visit the shop and see a sample centerpiece in person! On the day of our wedding, the floral delivery and setup went smoothly with no issues. The chuppah was sturdy and all the flowers stayed on, even while our outdoor ceremony was pretty windy! And our centerpieces with floating candles and red flowers was the perfect design to match the rest of our reception. From the moment we stepped into his store, he took his time to show us entire books with photos of centerpieces, chuppahs, aisle decor, lighting, and more that his team has done. We had no idea what we wanted, but Steve showed us all the options and more importantly, he was straightforward in communicating and very transparent about pricing. Other vendors were reluctant to even send us breakdowns or spend much time with us. We were also excited that Steve has a store in our neighborhood. He would give his honest recommendations for various items but never pressured us to do extra and even helped us dial it back a bit closer to the day. On the day of the wedding, Steve was there before any of the other vendors and his team set up the place before I even got dressed. Our guests raved about how unique the flowers were - we went with a red theme with a touch of purple dendrobiums - and they were practically fighting to take home the centerpieces. That was the scene we ended the night on and it was such a compliment to Steve. My drunk aunt even tried to take the 50lb tree-sized cherry blossoms at the entrance and had to be stopped by the venue team. This review is overdue but we wanted to make sure we captured our experience in depth. We appreciate Steve and his team, and we highly recommend them for your wedding and special events!

Bonnie and Steve were extremely helpful and thoughtful during our wedding process! They were recommended to us by our venue, and after reaching out to all of the florists, they were the most reasonably priced and thoughtful. I mainly spoke to Bonnie and she was always responsive. Wedding flowers in the city can be expensive, and I gave Bonnie our budget, and she was able to exceed our expectations. I was also able to visit the shop before my wedding to go over final details, and take a look at our centerpieces. They also supported setting up all of the floral arrangements at the venue the day of!

We used Superior Florist for our wedding at The Lighthouse on Chelsea Piers. We worked with Steve and couldn't be happier to use him as our florist. Not only does Steve have a long, impressive background in the industry, he delivers gorgeous flowers at a reasonable price. Everything provided by Superior Florist was breathtaking, from our chuppah to the bouquets. Some of our guests loved our centerpieces so much that they were taking pictures of them to share with friends to replicate. Steve and Superior Florist were superb to work with for our wedding florals. We had extensively explored the list of preferred florists for our venue and we went with Steve because he made us feel comfortable from the get go about the process, particularly as we did not know much about florals in the first place. On top of that, he offered beautiful arrangements at an affordable price. Starting from the very beginning, he set up time to meet with us late in the evening because of our hectic work schedules. We did not know much about the process but he guided us based on the vision we had for our venue space. We did not feel rushed or pressured to choose anything. He gave us plenty of options and had very reasonable pricing. He listened to our budget concerns and advised us accordingly. We were able to meet with him on several occasions and always patiently answered all our questions. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful - in fact, we are preserving the bridal bouquet so that it is a memory we will keep forever. On our wedding day, the venue space was just stunning. Everyone was simply amazed at how beautiful everything was. Steve had his team bring the two large bouquets at the church to display at the entrance of the venue. We had a beautiful towering statement piece arrangement for our seating card table as guests walked in. Our welcome sign was beautifully decorated at the entryway. We had 20+ tables at our wedding, with a mix of high and low floral arrangements and assorted candles. And the lighting above our dance floor was just wow! Steve and team hung up 200+ lights above our dance floor that created such a magical effect. We were so happy with how beautiful everything looked. We would 100% recommend Steve and Superior Florist for your wedding florals and decor!

Loved our flowers!
Our wedding guests cannot stop raving about the beautiful flowers at our wedding (and we don’t blame them)!! Steve and Bonnie knocked it out of the park for us and when I walked into the room on my wedding day, I was blown away.
We were not an easy couple to work with, as I was very particular with the flowers and decor down to the type of vase and candles. We had a lot of special requests and Steve accommodated every single one! He brought our exact vision to life and I’m so grateful.
Superior Florist was on our preferred vendor list at The Lighthouse and we spoke to several of the florists on the list. As soon as I met Steve back in 2019, I knew he was the one for us. He was very respectful of our budget, which was important to us.
I was also a covid bride and Steve had our back every step of the way when we needed to postpone. He created my bouquet for my wedding part 1 ceremony in Central Park. Do not hesitate to book Superior Florist!

Superior Florist did the most amazing job providing flowers and lighting for my wedding. Everything was beautiful and exactly what I dreamed of. Not only did Steve take the time to meet with me multiple times, he is super knowledgable about all things flowers and he had no hidden prices or charges like other florists I met with. If I had a question or wanted to change something up, he was always accommodating and available to talk through any changes. Superior really cares about their clients, and I will never forget the feeling I felt when I saw the room for the first time on my wedding day, it was absolutely stunning. Beyond Our Wildest Dreams!
A long-time family owed floral shop in the heart of Manhattan’s Flower District; the aptly named Superior Florist is simply the best. Steve and Bonnie were amazing and had great suggestions. It helped that they were familiar with our venue and were able to suggest concepts that would work with the space. While we saw the arrangement ahead of time, my husband and I could not have been more pleased at my bouquet and our arrangements the day of. From start to finish, it was nothing but wonderful to work with Steve and the rest of the team at Superior Florist. The prices were incredibly reasonable for what we got and it NEVER once felt like he was trying to upsell us or push us to go with something we didn't want, which I really appreciated. We originally booked SF for our 4/24/20 wedding, and when we had to postpone a first time, and then a second, and then a third, Steve couldn't have been more understanding and flexible. We were so grateful to be working with him during such a tough time. We finally got married last month, and everything came out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. So many of our guests were gushing about the flowers! It felt so nice for people to notice and appreciate them. Not to mention, the Superior Florist team did two drop-offs for us that day to make sure we had our bouquets and boutonnieres for photos at our hotel before the ceremony (and for no extra charge, which I wasn't expecting!). I couldn't recommend this florist more!

Our venue recommended Steve and Superior Florist and we are so glad they did! From my first conversation with Steve, I knew we were in good hands: he has worked with Chelsea Piers so often that he was able to walk me through the entire venue and where the decor would go as if we were doing it all live! Throughout the whole process, he answered questions quickly and easily and made changes as we went to help us complete our vision within budget. Even though I saw a sample ahead of time, I was absolutely blown away by our flowers the day of! They were just stunning and our guests RAVED; a few guys even brought them home to their ladies :) The absolute best, I cannot say enough good things. I truly loved the flowers and they made the ambience that much more gorgeous. Thank you!!

We researched several florists and are SO happy we went with Steve and his team for our wedding. For NYC, the prices are very affordable and Steve is willing to work with your budget to make your vision come to life. The perfect florist for the cost-conscious bride with uncompromising high standards! Words can't express how happy and lucky we feel to have worked with Bonnie and Superior Florist. Bonnie is so sweet, detail-oriented, reliable, and knowledgeable about flowers and decoration. She asked about our wedding color theme and our budget, and she helped us choose the right flowers and pieces to bring our vision for the wedding to life. The final product was a dream come true and came under our budget! We had a flower arch, tall centerpieces decorated with floating lights, a welcome tree, sweetheart table arrangement, and garlands for stairways along with flowers for the wedding party and much more. With Bonnie and her team's help, we were also able to repurpose some of our pieces (e.g. the arch was moved behind the sweetheart table for the reception). Their name, Superior Florist, is truly the most accurate description. I can use only superlatives to describe our experience. Sam, his son Steve, and their staff created the most beautiful outdoor chupah for my daughter's wedding. Sam not only achieved the bride and groom's vision of what the chupah should look like, but he went above and beyond! To any other florist, what may have been a challenge - securing the birch posts to bases that could withstand any wind from the river and trees without unsightly wires, pots, sandbags, etc. - seems to have been an opportunity for Superior to create the most beautiful chupah.
In addition, the table centerpieces were stunning as were all the bridal bouquets. Sam's attention to detail really paid off. Throughout the entire process, Sam was truly an expert and professional. They really are the most Superior Florists!

Steve and Bonnie were absolutely incredible to work with and brought our vision to life. Our venue required us to choose one of their preferred florists, and we met with every single one on the list. When we met with Steve, not only were his prices incredibly fair but he was so flexible and willing to make whatever we wanted happen, without being pushy or trying to add to the cost (he actually tried to reel us in on multiple occasions!). He was so patient during our multiple long meetings and included photos of what we were looking for in the contract. When the time came for the contract, Steve's wife, Bonnie, was a pleasure to work with, and when we had to postpone our wedding from our 2020 date to 2021, both Steve and Bonnie were incredibly understanding and made a difficult process incredibly easy. He did a sample for us of our centerpieces as our date approached and was flexible with making last minute tweaks as we got closer to the date. When the day came and we walked into the room, it was truly out of our dreams. He made everything happen and went above and beyond. I felt so confident in going with Superior throughout the whole (longer than expected) process and when the day came that confidence was confirmed tenfold. Thank you so much, Steve and Bonnie!

The flowers at my wedding were the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in my life. Steve and team were amazing to work with and exceeded all expectations (which were already very high). True Flower Artists!
Steve did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. He worked with our ideas, gave helpful and thoughtful suggestions, and ultimately created stunning works of art. Our chuppah looked like something out of a fairy tale with a curtain of pink flowers that looked like they were floating against the Manhattan skyline and the bridal bouquet and table arrangements were beautiful. Steve was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He was incredibly flexible when we had to change our wedding plans due to COVID. Perfection from planning to day of our wedding!
Superior Florist handled my MOH’s wedding over 20 years ago. Since then we all became long time fans and used Superior for every birthday, party flowers, all every day purchases. When I began planning my own wedding in NYC on 02-02-2020, there was no competition. Steve and Team at Superior listened to every detail, toured the venue (NoMad Hotel) with me and communicated directly with not only me, but with the venue contacts. The flowers were incredible, fresh, beautiful and just perfect. The Team also handles our Rehearsal Dinner arrangements, perfect and whimsical curly willow with hanging votives. Absolutely amazing and stunning
My husband and I were married yesterday 9/6/2019 and we had hired Superior Florist to be our florist. I couldn't even describe how much we absolutely loved everything. Steve and his team created something so magical. The centerpieces blew our minds away. It was literally a fairy tale when we saw the venue. Thank you so much to Steve and his team!!!

Amazing. Easy. Fantastic value.
Steve and his team were SO IMPRESSIVE. Our first interaction with Steve was in his shop. He was very knowledgeable about the venue, knowing every corner of Chelsea Piers. His flower shop was understated and NOT what you’d expect from a wedding florist. At one point my mom said to him (quite rudely, sorry Steve) “THIS is where you’re making the centerpieces?”
He quoted us and I sent it around for some comparisons to friends who are in the business. They unanimously agreed that we got a great deal! Steve was honest about what was worth spending money on and what wasn’t. He even had a great idea to reuse the bouquets from the bridesmaids on the head table! At no charge he placed vases and flower petals and the white roses looked gorgeous lined up on our long table. The flower centerpieces, (which he said if we trusted him with whatever was around that week he would get us a good deal) were INSANE!!! They were huge and gorgeous in tall vases and made the room pop. Another obsession was a floating flower piece over our ceremony.
The craziest thing was it just all got done flawlessly and without even needing supervision or bothering us on our day. I was SO SO impressed and would recommend Superior Florist over and over again...

Stunning florals
Bonnie and Steve really made our vision come to life. From the initial email and super fast response, to the changes we requested right before our in-person viewing for centerpieces, everything was really great. I sent an online photo for the bridal bouquet, and Superior Florists made an exact replica. The florals even lasted into the next day! Thank you!!!

Beautiful Decor - Really Know How to Make Stunning Pieces
Superior Florists really live up to their name. We used them for our wedding as a recommendation from out venue (The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers) and we are so happy we did. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. They really captured the simplistic beauty we were looking for and I could not have been happier. The entire décor of the venue was perfect – candles lighting the entry way, lights above the dance floor, bar arrangements, table centerpieces, and church flowers were all magnificent. The team at Superior Florists was wonderful to work with – they really know what they are doing and understand the venue so well. My husband and I are by far not experts at flowers or décor so it was such a comfort knowing we were in good hands. They were able to create décor exactly like we wanted through our conversations.

Wedding Floral Perfection!
Steve & the team at Superior Florist created the most BEAUTIFUL wedding flowers, decor, and bouquets for my recent wedding at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Everything took my breath away when I first walked into the venue, and each detail was more than perfect. Steve was an absolute professional, and was able to make my vision come to life based on just a few photos I showed him of what I liked/disliked. Steve and his team deserve a huge thanks and our sincere appreciation for everything they did to help create such a beautiful space for our wedding! Our guests are still talking about the centerpieces and the chuppah weeks later. Each floral element was done perfectly and exactly to our vision (with lots of input and guidance from the team). Steve and the team at Superior Florist were easy to work with and brought to life the vision I had for my wedding floral arrangements, all within a very reasonable price range. I was extremely impressed that they captured everything I discussed with them about how I wanted the table centerpieces to look like, to the bridal and bridemaids' bouquets, to the entryway arrangement! I am so happy we decided to use Steve at Superior Florists. I was blown away by our centerpieces the day of our wedding and I received so many compliments on how beautiful they were. Every step of working with Steve was so wonderful. He is responsive and set up appointments quickly. Everything was delivered timely and accurately to our three locations. Everything was just absolutely perfect. In a city full of a lot of vendors trying to rip you off because your getting married, Superior is not one of them. This was the best value decision we made for our wedding and the results were jaw droppingly beautiful. We cannot thank you enough Steve!

Steve and his team at Superior Florist transformed my wedding venue into a magical fairytale. As someone who had a hard time visualizing the potential of my venue, Steve was able to show me thousands of examples of his past work....The man knows his flowers! He was able to work within my budget and managed to create the most elegant ceremony arch, table centerpieces, and cascading bouquet.
I highly recommend him if you are getting married at any one of the venues at Chelsea Piers (Steve works at Chelsea Piers often and was the only recommended flower vendor who answered their phone!). He is punctual, accommodated and adjusted to last minute changes, and did it all with a positive attitude. I highly recommend Superior Florist!

BEST FLORIST EVER. Our wedding was February, 17, 2018 ... right after Valentine's Day. Huge thanks and appreciation to Steve and team for the absolutely stunning job! Stunning. Amazing. Perfection. Beautiful! We were blown away and so were our guests! I started crying in happiness when I walked into Current as saw the beautiful arrangements - escort card table, reception tables, bars and candles/rose petals throughout the venue. You took an idea and made it come to life in the most beautiful way. Both the bridesmaids and bridal bouquet were exquisite! The bridesmaids were so honored to show-off such beautiful arrangements that matched their dresses perfectly! My bouquet was absolutely stunning and the way the rosary/mom/s wedding dress ribbons were incorporated was so beautiful. My heart could not be more full from happiness of everything!

I cannot recommend Steve and his team at Superior highly enough. They were absolutely incredible. I got married at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers 6/16 - From our first meeting with Steve over a year before, we knew we were in great hands - professional, knowledgable, approachable, and had amazing suggestions to match my exact vision. His responsiveness was always extremely professional and immediate, every single question I had was answered. They executed so beautifully, beyond my wildest expectations. My husband & my parents wanted to add branches from trees from our childhood home and Steve accommodated and made it look like they were a part of an already incredibly special and stunning floating chuppah. They also did my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner flowers because of how much we loved working with them before the wedding, AND my husband walks entirely out of his way to get flowers for me there whenever he is getting them. Steve and crew, I can never thank you enough!!!!!

I can’t express how beautiful of a job Steve and his team did for my wedding. The NYC Chelsea Piers Current, transformed into a magical botanical garden. The team was professional, dependable, artistic and I didn’t have to worry about a thing during the planning process. Steve knows his craft inside and out, and created a beautiful masterpiece. Worked with superior for my daughters this weekend. Steve was the best to work with he made us feel so at ease with decisions. He was on target with the size of table centerpiece in relationship to crystal and China.the entrance flowers were perfect as well as candles and chuppah. He has great people working for him they arrived and everything done in about 2 hours.

Our experience with Superior Florist was fantastic. We went in with an idea of what we wanted. Steve and Bonnie helped us tailor our ideas to fit our needs. They explained why certain flowers or arrangements wouldn't make sense for our venue which was a yacht. There was no pressure, only helpful ideas. The flowers, garlands, and arrangements were fresh, and most importantly, beautiful.
Since we got married on a yacht we had a very limited setup window. The Superior Florist team was more than accommodating. The setup was quick, but done perfectly. It didn't appear rushed at all.
We highly recommend Superior Florist for your, or anyone's wedding!

We celebrated our daughter’s wedding on August 19th, and were lucky to be able to work with Steve, at Superior Florist. He and his staff were the consummate professionals and so incredibly easy to work with. They listened to our ideas and wishes and executed a result that was flawless. From our initial appointment, through follow up changes, Steve was patient, respectful, and offered tremendous insight as to what flowers and materials would best be used to complete the job. They were responsive to our questions, and made us feel that the outcome of this job was of equal importance to them as it was to us.
Steve’s choice of flowers for the bridesmaid’s bouquets, usher and groom’s boutonnieres, and the bride’s bouquet were perfect. The wedding canopy was beautifully designed and far exceeded our expectations. We, as well as our guests, were completely impressed with the table centerpieces. They were elegant and Steve delivered exactly what we had asked of him.
I highly recommend Steve, and Superior Florists, if you are looking for a vendor who will listen, make suggestions, and then deliver a product that will more than exceed your expectations! Steve, Bonnie, and entire team at Superior Florist were amazing to work with from start to finish. Steve is so patient, responsive, and easy to work with. He made sure we saw eye to eye on everything, even if that meant meeting at 7:30AM to walk the flower district to pick out flowers and colors together. He was so informative, and taught me so much about different flowers and colors. Superior did our flowers for our wedding at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers and I was blown away by everything. He constructed a donut wall for us, a beautiful ceremony arch, a huge floral chandelier, and so much more. Our guests (and myself) were blown away by the centerpieces alone! I couldn't have imagined working with a different florist - Steve was on point in every way imaginable. His team even picked up our 200 donuts from the bakery the morning of our wedding and assembled them onto our donut wall. Steve and his team really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. I can't thank Steve enough for making our wedding as beautiful as it possibly could have been! They started working on our decor at the venue 3 days prior to the wedding - that's dedication! Another plus - his prices are extremely reasonable and he will work with you to keep you in line with your budget. I would not hesitate to recommend Steve - he and his team honestly did everything they could to make us happy. Thanks so much for an unforgettable wedding Steve and Superior Florist!!!!

Steve and his team were nothing short of fabulous to work with! we interviewed many florists for our march 2017 wedding at Current at Chelsea Piers and Superior Florist was a no brainier. Not only does steve and team do gorgeous work but they are so easy to work with - he was responsive to every email and call and had great suggestions for how to achieve the look we wanted. He also was the first to tell me when I was going over board and spending more than I needed to which was greatly appreciated. My mom lives out of town and he was so flexible in terms of meeting with us on Friday evenings or before setting up for weekend events so as to make it work when she was in town. I would 100% recommend Superior florist to anyone looking for a wedding florist!

They were easy to work with and took the time to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. I loved working with Superior Florist! Steve was very patient and worked with me using pictures I had seen. He did an excellent job of replicating exactly what I wanted. He even made me a sample centerpiece so I was not surprised on the day of the wedding. I was looking for a bridal bouqet that was a lilttle different than what I had seen in most weddings and he was honest with me about which flowers would work best and to best arrange them so they would look like the bouqet I showed him in pictures. A Wonderland of Magnificent Flowers
Steve did an incredible job transforming a modern and somewhat austere venue into a fantasy land of gorgeous flowers. From the ceremonial arch to the cocktail reception flowers to the incredible table arrangements, all the flowers were simply spectacular. Steve was a pleasure to work with and was totally receptive to our vision and took it to an unexpected higher level even better than we could have imagined. Superior also did a wonderful job with hanging lighting from the venues ceiling to make the dance floor totally magical. He is a pro and knows what you need and what you don't need. We thought that we got a great value for the flower arrangements and décor items that they provided. I would use them again in a minute. Superior far exceeded my expectations.
