When I started calling caterers for quotes, I immediately knew Superb Cuisines was the one! Keula Binelly, the owner, was the only one who made an effort to design a flexible menu that met my style and price range. She "got" me in that she understood the vibe I was going for and had perfect recommendations for food. When I did a tasting of my menu at her home, I was blown away by how amazing everything was- so flavorful and delicious! Superb Cuisines exceeded every expectation I had for a caterer, and made the process as simple and affordable as possible for me. -

I loved Keula and her team. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. Her fudge dessert was probably the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. She will be hired for every event that I need catering for in the future. -

Keula was a pleasure to work with - she was so professional that both of my event coordinators remarked how organized she was. She made very creative suggestions for the food and drinks to go along with my wedding theme and kept everything in my budget. Perhaps the best part was how fantastic everything looked! Keula really has a flair for making her food displays look absolutely beautiful. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone who wants to have their event catered with delicious food that looks and tastes wonderful. -

Keula and her staff were amazing from day 1 of working with her. My fiance, now husband, called Keula after a family member recommened her so highly. She made me feel like the only bride on her schedule every time we met. Keula was so prompt in responding to my emails and my calls, only one of the many calls I made to her went to voicemail and she called me back within 10minutes of leaving the message; in planning our wedding of 220 people, that type of service was priceless. Keula and her team added a spark to our wedding. The food was outstanding and the presentation far exceeded our expectaions. It was a joy to work with Keula, her talents and abilties allowed me to fully enjoy the planning process. I highly recommmend her and everyone at Superb Cuisines!! -

The caterer was outstanding. From the first day we meet to the wedding. Every detail was perfect. Keula held my hand and helped with the whole wedding. She was always available by phone. Her suggestions made things perfect. The food was the best I have ever tasted. My guests keep sending me notes about the food. If you want the most amazing wedding give her a call -

We had a cocktail wedding reception for about 70 friends and family members. Superb Cuisines did a fantastic job with the food. Keula designed a menu around our Caribbean theme and we still get compliments 2 years later on how great the food was. The entire staff at Superb Cuisines were polite and professional and I would hire them again without hesitation. -

Superb Cuisines presented delicious food elegantly. Keula worked with us so we could remain true to our budget, but the food and service were so wonderful one would have thought we had unlimited funds. I received many, many compliments. I wouldn't hesitate to use this caterer again for any function. -

I cannot express how much I appreciate everything Keula and her team did for me. I was so stressed out about the whole wedding but Keula took care of everything. Everything went smoothly and she absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was fabulous and the overall service was amazing. I will definitely use her services next time...maybe for a baby shower! :-) -

The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The staff was professinal, unobtrusive, and very friendly, relieving me of any worry or feeling of responsibility....which I normally would have experienced since the wedding was in my backyard! Superb Cuisines was amazing in helping the first ever No Worries Now DC Prom a success. As this event was geared toward teens with chronic and life threatening illnesses many accommodations had to be made for restricted diets. Superb Cuisines made sure that all concerns were addressed. It was so easy to work with Keula. Everytime I called her with a concern she reassured me that it was no problem and that it would be perfect. She was right! The food was delicious and the presentation absolutely stunning. I recommend Superb Cuisines to anyone looking for an easy to work with, fantastic caterer. -

I don't know where to begin to thank Superb Cuisines for the excellence of their services at our wedding... The team did an absolutely AMAZING job and we are so very deeply grateful! The food was truly delicious, the decorations were impeccable, and the staff had such a friendly and service-oriented attitude at every step of the afternoon and evening that I literally did not have a single concern in the world. (Considering that I am a professional event planner -albeit not weddings- and a perfectionist, that is a huge testament to the confidence I felt in them!) I was very impressed both by the excellence of their services, the tastiness of their food, and their flexibility in working with our budget. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! :-) -

The entire Superb Cuisines team -- from the owner to the chef to the server -- was extremely accommodating, creative, and professional. They transformed my kitchen into an exquisite, yet warm and inviting atmosphere. The entree selections were perfectly complimented by the beautifully displayed side dishes. Keula did an excellent job on my event. I would highly highly recommend her. The event she catered was a reception after the funeral for my mother. I was too emotional to handle much detail, and Keula took over. It was a beautiful, beautiful event. It was a stunning presentation, wonderful food, and a great celebration of my mother. The date shown is misleading. It was simply the last date that we used Superb Cuisines. They also catered our May banquet, a personal party at my house, and are booked to handle three more (at least) events in 2012. -

Keula has an amazing staff and an ability to bestow confidence with the bride in the preformance of her team. The food is sooooooo amazing and the taste was consistent with the original tasting! the food displays were amazing, staff worked through scorching heat with many smiles....the guests were so appreciative....they didn't stop commenting on how wonderful it all was! The bride said it was like a fairytale which as the mother of the bride...a dream come true! -

Superb Cuisines did an absolutely fabulous job at this engagement party.....I highly recommend them as I have been to several affairs that they have catered. Some of them were friends that I referred to Superb Cuisines. Check out their mashed potatoes......LOL -

Superb cuisines owner Keulla Binney is extremely professional and helpful. Be sure to specify exactly what you require if you want something in particular as the chef might have an different interpretation of what you are expecting. The best way is to have a tasting and the owner is very accommodating. -

Superb Cuisines went above and beyond on the day of my wedding. The buffet table was beautifully decorated with table cloths, flowers and decor that matched my wedding colors. The service was professional and exceeded my expectations. -

I secured Superb cuisines with a deposit in June of 2012. Our relationship was over July, 2012. Thank God I never used her for my wedding... You shouldn't either... Here is why:
Keula Binnely at Superb cuisines is definitely and unfortunately the most unprofessional person I've dealt with as I plan my wedding for October 2012. DO NOT BE MOVED by all her testimonials. After securing her with a deposit of $2464.50 I was still unable to get information which I requested from her for weeks. Simple stuff like cake and vegetarian options to finalize my menu. Everything she was supposed to do, she either never did or she was so late it was embarrassing for me having picked her and her company. It was almost like a slap in the face for me, or an annoying "I TOLD YOU SO" ringing in my head every time she failed to do what she said. A reminder that I was going to keep nagging Keula constantly to get her to do what she says.
I at times had to contact the decorator that referred me to Keula to get in contact with her. Once we did speak it was a bunch of excuses... and whoa is me which I dealt with as I had already paid a deposit which I knew was non refundable so I did what I could to maintain at least friendly conversation.
She cancelled a meeting and was working her way into not showing up for the rescheduled one as she put the time down in her calendar wrong... and never called me to confirm as I had requested. She totally wasted my time. I call her, clearly annoyed I tell her that I've lost patience and have no confidence in her company to which in my opinion any business owner would recognize their mistakes and try to come out with a satisfied customer in the end. I was annoyed, as any other customer would have been at her lack of commitment to my wedding, her lack of attention to detail, her lack of customer service. I figured she would shut me up by showing me GREAT customer service and GREAT FOOD with a GREAT experience to match. But you know what Keula Binnelly did? She proceeded to tell me that I must have something going on that I am "taking out" on her. I explained to her that my demeanor came as a response to her unprofessionalism basically. Her lack of commitment as I stated before and her non-chalant attitude to my concerns. She started to tell me about all her testimonials... I asked her to point out an instance in our relationship when she could say I received that experience... And of course there was no reply... She ended up suggesting that I take my monies back and work with someone else to which I almost jumped out of my chair in happiness as her deposits are non refundable. This conversation was had on 7/5/12. I called her back the next week Friday 7/13 as she stated it would take 3-4 biz days. Today is 7/20 and I do not have my money yet. Her quote was significantly less than other caterers in the area, but think about it... Do you wanna pay someone thousands to give you the run around leading up to a date such as your wedding?!?! If I could give her negative stars I would... -
