  Destination Wedding Event

  We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Sunside Catering and Vending / Chef Tom Ford. He committed to us early on and was extremely flexible to our wishes and needs.
  We had utilized his services for 2 nights and 2 mornings and it really made our stay and wedding event so over the top special. He and his team did everything! They bought in anything we were missing, setup right at the house and prepared the food on sight. The food preparation and presentation were incredible, not to forget about the amazing quality of the dishes, and they took care of every detail of cleanup at the end. The simplicity of warming the breakfast dishes as well as the quality was perfect also and worth every penny!
  I could go on and on, but we were just so happy we found him to make our stay and event even more special and less stressful to us. We are already thinking about booking a follow up event with him!

  Unbelievable! Definitely hire for your wedding or event!

  FOOD WAS INNNNCREDIBLE!!!! Our guests raved about the food and the service chef Tom provided. I am SO HAPPY we hired Sunside catering for our wedding!!!🙏🏼 My husband still says the grouper fingers are his favorite food and our wedding food was better than any of the food on our honeymoon (all inclusive 5 star hotel- that food was hard to beat, and my husband is a food critic, so that says a lot!!) Tom’s responsiveness and communication was exceptional, prices were so reasonable (especially for the quality and quantity of food!), and overall staff (bartenders, servers) were so wonderful!! I can’t say enough about Tom going above and beyond for the multiple allergies/intolerances of various guests (some gluten free, some dairy free, onion/garlic allergies), he really outdid himself making separate plates specifically put aside with each type of allergies/intolerances and then labeling and making sure everyone knew what ingredients were in each dish. The DJ specifically thanked us as well as he said this was the first wedding he could actually eat (gluten allergy/intolerance) and be sure he wouldn’t get sick by accidentally eating something with gluten. The food was so delicious, perfectly cooked, all consistently made, the flavors were amazing!!! And Tom made sure to put some appetizers to the side for myself and my husband to be able to enjoy later (since we did pictures during cocktail hour). We both were SO HAPPY we hired Tom/Sunside catering and would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone!!!

  Amazing food and service!

  Chef Tom and his team did an amazing job. I was so nervous because caterers just don’t do tasting any more but chef Tom definitely delivered like he said he would! Every single thing we ain’t from the appetizers to just everything was amazing. He even made the broccoli amazing. I couldn’t be more happy with sun side catering. Our wedding was perfect thanks to these guys and in the future we will use them again. We had Asiago chicken, beef carving station, stuffed grouper and salads. Just amazing.

  Amazing all around

  Tom and his team were absolutely amazing! My sister-in-law used him for their wedding a couple of years ago, and the food and service was SO GOOD we knew we wanted him for ours! From the start, Tom helped out in anyway he could! He even offered to check out the venue for us, since we are from out of town! I think that shows how above and beyond he goes for his clients! Could not recommend him enough!!! We had the taco/fajita bar and everyone at the wedding kept talking about how delicious it was! I never had to worry about a thing!

  Fantastic food and service

  They are hands down the Best caterers. Food was by far the best we had on the whole trip. Service was phenomenal!!! They came to our rental and prepared beef tenderloin tips and stuffed grouper. Everyone loved it!!! 5 STARS all the way! Thank you Chef Tom and team!!!

  Above and beyond!

  Tom was excellent, food was absolutely delicious, so professional, so accommodating especially with food allergies and special requests, his team was so sweet, they cleaned everything, put leftovers and labeled in frig, and he always went above and beyond with every detail! I planned a destination wedding and always leary of who the vendors are without meeting them. Tom was so patient, communicative, and so easy to work with. Well worth every dollar spent and will absolutely use him again when down there. He catered a welcome reception and my wedding reception. Everything was perfect!

  Professional Catering - Reasonably Priced

  Chef Tom and his staff were wonderful to work with and we were able to stay within our budget. Chef and his staff arrived on time, professionally dressed to prepare the food and serving lines. He coordinated with the DJ and Bartender to ensure everyone stayed on target with regard to our wedding and reception timeline. The food was excellent! I highly recommend Sunside Catering for your next event.

  Better than anything I could have imagined!

  Honestly one of the best vendors we had. Super easy to work with. Understood their craft and dinner had a perfect flow. Food was delicious, and Tom and his staff made sure we had everything we could have needed. The bar tender was a blast, was very hospitable. Made the best drinks he could while following the rules of the venue. They even set up the desert table for us! They asked if they could! Which was so much help! Tom made us some to go boxes for afterwards which was extremely nice and was enough food for both of us to have 3 meals honestly. Emails were prompted, phone calls were always answered and he even sent over photos of meals, silverware, and all else. Couldn’t recommend them more.

  Tom and his team were absolutely amazing!!!! They made our wedding perfect. The food was so amazing. We loved the mashed potato bar. The passed appetizers added to the sophistication of our reception. Our guests truly enjoyed the food. Tom was very responsive and worked with us to ensure our menu was exactly what we wanted. Tom and His team did a phenomenal enduring food was served and everyone was taken care of.

  You CANNOT get any better than this!

  My husband and I took a HUGE leap and planned our wedding less than three months away at the time. With that said, there was so much stress and worry about finding the right wedding planner, cake designer, DJ, venue, and especially caterer. I was in the middle of complete mayhem when I contacted Sunside Catering praying that he could help us. Tom went above and beyond his requirements as a caterer to be what I can honestly call my “go to” guy. He honestly became the one person I could truly rely on during the wedding process, giving me great advice for vendors and florists, calming my pre-wedding nerves, and giving me the confidence and comfort of knowing I would have an incredible caterer. He blew all my expectations out of the water!!! I had more people comment in my wedding video about how incredible the food was than how happy they were for my husband and I! I can truly say that Tom felt like family to me. I can’t even describe how grateful and blessed I was to have him be apart of my wedding. He set up the most incredible restaurant reservation for my rehearsal dinner and made sure we had the VIP treatment! He even took the time throughout the wedding to constantly make sure my husband and I had everything we needed and stole a dance with me at the end of the night! 😊 I can assure you that you can’t get any better or more personal. There is NO need for you to search for other caterers, I can promise you Sunside Catering is the only one you want!

After our ceremony he was sure to have some platters of appetizers for the parties and us to be sure we got to enjoy them. He then was sure to have plates made for my husband and I so we could take a moment to eat before making our rounds with the guests.

  Food Heaven!

  Chef Tom and his staff are fabulous!!!!!! Chef Tom was great at making sure all our guests were taken care of, he made sure we didn't miss out on any of the food while the wedding party was having photos done. We had planned the prime rib, mash potato martini bar, big tray of roasted vegetables for our reception dinner. Honest to God it was the best prime rib I've ever had and the roasted vegetables were out of this world delicious! The mash potato martini bar is a definite must! Trust me your guest will be talking about the mash potato martini bar for years after your wedding. I'm already looking for another excuse to have a party for Chef Tom Ford to cater again, his food is really that memorable and delicious!

  I cannot recommend Sunside Catering enough!!! Chef Tom Ford and the whole team of chefs, servers and bartenders were a highlight of our wedding. He made a spread of chicken and steak fajitas for our beach wedding dinner which was on Cinco De Mayo, and we got SO many compliments on the food. It was truly amazing. Chef Tom made the entire experience stress-free for us, and made sure that every little detail was taken care of (even details that weren't his job, like bringing extra linens, cake stands, setting up tables, working with us on a bar menu). If you are having a wedding anywhere near 30A, you are making a mistake if you do not use Sunside Catering!

The buffet table looked incredible, the food tasted amazing, and his staff were super friendly; we were getting compliments throughout the night on his services. He even boxed up dinner for my husband and I to enjoy at the end of the night. It's the little details that count and we were so impressed by everything this company has to offer!

  Tom and his crew did an amazing job for my daughter's wedding at The Barn. The food was amazing and our guests were so impressed. Tom was easy to work with and very responsive to questions. He even helped us work through a wedding cake accident!

  Tom and his team made my wedding so wonderful. Every bit of food made was top notch and all my guests agreed that it was the best wedding meal they ever had. We had Tom come back in the morning to do a brunch and it was equally as amazing with made to order omelets. Tom was very professional and easy to talk with and accommodating to all of our requests.   Tom and his team made my wedding so wonderful. Every bit of food made was top notch and all my guests agreed that it was the best wedding meal they ever had.   I live in TX, got married in Santa Rosa Beach, FL on 9/25/15. I contacted Tom, owner of sunside vending and catering, and he was just absolutely wonderful. He answered ALL my emails and questions. I was impressed with the food and appetizers on our wedding day. We had a beach wedding and Tom along with his crew, delivered 100%. The food was great and the appetizers were a complete hit! We had very little left overs. Thanks to Tom, we had a wonderful dinner with all our friends and family! Highly recommend his services!

I arranged everything with Tom in advance via email (we live out of state) and he and his servers made my reception a success. His prices are very competitive and my guests are still raving about how good the food was! In addition to the food he provided all the set up. They cleaned everything up afterward and were very professional in handling all the detais.

  Fabulous Wedding Reception

  Hands down best catering experience! Food was phenomenal and service was 5 Star... We had the Beef Tips and the Stuffed Grouper. Best food we had while in Destin for my daughters wedding. They made everything go so smooth! Thank you Chef Tom and Team!

  The services and food is lacking

  The set up was not appealing to the eye. We order appetizers they were served in a Styrofoam container and was not served as with the dipping sauce as requested, The grouper stuffed with shrimp and crab on rice pilaf w. lemon beurre blanc sauce was not good and no lemon beurre sauce was on it. baked potatoes were made in advance and were not good reheated. The pasta alfredo and broccoli were very good. Key lime pie we order was from a grocery store not homemade as stated.

  Ronda, I am very sorry that you are displeased. I will address each of your critiques. The setup was confined. I had asked to discuss setup and you said you would be doing it. I have catered at least 50 parties in that room through the years. It is not good to have the food as far away as possible from the front door. We use stainless steel chafers w. gold inlay on the handles. We served salad and all dressings etc in bone white china bowls. No appetizers were served in Styrofoam as you contend. The smoked chicken eggrolls were served with Thai pineapple chili sauce, Korean BBQ sauce and soy ginger sauce. All 3 sauces were on the polished stainless steel platters that servers passed out to all guests. The beef tenderloin on crostini w horseradish aioli/chive garnish were passed on the stainless steel platters.
  The Mac n Cheese lollipops were passed in a deep well stainless steel pan. All were well received and obviously enjoyed. The party ate 69 eggrolls, 64 beef tenderloin on crostini, and 77 Mac n Cheese lollipops.
  When it came time for the dinner buffet we plated appetizers that had not been eaten and they were all gone before dinner was over. We plated appetizers for bride and groom and served them at their table.
  None of the foods were made in advance and reheated. I made 5 key lime pies from scratch. I did purchase 2 more at a local bakery.
  . You were not charged for these as you contend. The bakery is the same one you purchased the wedding cake from. I gave you one of the key lime pies I made to take home. The 3 tables for guests were crowded on one side of the room. Once all sat it was difficult for guests and servers to walk from table to table. The ambience in my opinion was destroyed by the neon, blaring lights from the photo booth, which took more space than we were given to serve foods. The only large trash receptacle was in a corner behind guests. I finally had to ask permission to lift it over everyone so and place it in a better position. We served all the children's meals and then made fruit bowls for each child and placed them in front of their seat. You paid for 1 uniformed server but had 2 The entire night.
