Linna and Cricket both did amazing at my wedding with hair and makeup! They were punctual and very friendly to be around. Linna did amazing airbrush makeup that lasted all day long. She did exactly what I wanted and it looked amazing. All my bridesmaids and mother were so happy with their makeup and they looked stunning! Cricket did a beautiful job with everyone’s hair. I was very happy with my hair as she did exactly what I wanted from a picture I showed her. Couldn’t ask for a better team! I would highly recommend Sunny hair and makeup for your big day!

This Company Saved the Day When Another One Let Us Down!
Sunny Hair and Makeup stepped up and did hair/makeup for our wedding when another beauty company we had previously booked had failed us throughout the Covid planning (and replanning) process. The entire process from booking to final result with Sunny Hair and Makeup was just a very simple and laid back, yet professional experience. Their pricing was definitely the best out of comparable options that I looked at! The two girls that did our services were super entertaining, bubbly, easy to talk to, and brought a positive energy and upbeatness to the bridal suite- along with their amazingly impressive hair and makeup skills! Sometimes I've had stylists that are skilled at either hair OR makeup, but both of these ladies were incredible at hair AND makeup! Since we had extra time on the schedule, and some bridesmaids decided they wanted more services than they had initially requested for the contract, Sunny Hair and Makeup gladly added those services on the spot- which was SO not necessary and something that many other beauty companies definitely wouldn't do! They made sure that all of the girls (myself included!) were happy with our looks. They highlighted everyone's beauty and made everyone look absolutely amazing! I am so grateful that we ended up using Sunny Hair and Makeup for our actual wedding day.

Our wedding was August 29th, 2020 at Balmorhea. I had a hair & make up trial two weeks before my big day and I felt so heard on what I wanted for my bridal look. So then on the big day, they just had to reference back to my trial photos to complete my look. With two artists, they knocked out 5 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and me in the timeline they provided. They were both so professional, fun and high energy. I loved that they engaged with us while we were getting pampered. Plus, they were so great at making last minute tweaks before packing up to leave. Mostly just all the extra hairspray & bobby pins. I highly recommend Sunny Hair & Make-Up!

Perfect Wedding Day HMU!!
My wedding was May 23, 2020 at 11am. Linna and Mandy arrived promptly at 6 am and finished 7 of us on time! The morning was fun and stress free. With the bridal party ranging in age from 13 - 72, we all looked beautiful!!! During the covid-craziness Sunny stayed in contact with me and was flexible due to the uncertainty. I highly recommend Sunny Hair and Makeup Artistry, no matter what age you are. They do great work!!!

A dream come true!
Sunny is AMAZING! I chose her because I loved that her airbrush looked still looked natural. She listened to me, took note of my Pinterest inspirations, and created a look that I loved! I still look at the pictures from my bridals and the wedding in awe of how perfect she nailed my hair inspiration!
In our trial, she paid attention to the time it took to create the look the first day so we knew how much time to set aside on the wedding day without running late. Then, when my bridals had to be rescheduled, she accommodated my re-do into her Sunday-morning schedule when we realized that there were no other options for everyone involved in my bridal portraits.
On the day of, my makeup stayed intact all day except for a little bit on the tip of my nose (thanks Eskimo kisses) after couples portraits which she had warned me about (“don’t ‘wipe’ tears - dab them” was the advice but I see how it applies), and I was easily able to touch it up myself. Thanks to Sunny and her wonderful job, you couldn’t tell in person (and still can’t tell in pictures) that I had a 101° fever the day of. THAT’S how great her coverage was.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for that perfect Pinterest recreation!

First off, I love April! She is amazing! I had my hair and makeup trial with her and I was so nervous that my makeup was going to be caked on or just something disastrous! She knew I was nervous so she put on very subtle makeup and said we can add more as we go if needed since it’s easier to add than take away! I liked this approach and she did perfect on the wedding day and during the trial! She also said something to me that has stuck with me since! “You have to give your makeup time to settle!” If you look close enough, you can see your makeup on top of your skin which is what would make me cringe but the more time that would pass, the more natural it looked! Hair was outstanding both times! Two updos, one with side swoop and other pulled back! Thank you April for being there for me and the ladies on my wedding day!

Sunny and her team were incredible!! Very efficient, professional, and fun to get really with. After 7 hours and multiple trips out into the Houston summer heat for photos, I didn't have a single hair out of place and my makeup still looked fresh for our grand exit photos! Bonus: I took my hair out that night and slept on it - perfect loose curls when I woke up that lasted through our send-off brunch. Would highly recommend!!

Felt like the most beautiful bride ever!
Sunny Hair and Makeup was AMAZING! Let's start with the fact that they are very responsive, and Sunny, the owner took time to answer phone calls when I have a million questions. They were professional and genuinely sweet. I had to change my trial date last minute, and they were flexible. Sunny did my HAMU for my trial, and she took pictures for Linna to do on my wedding day. I was nervous about someone else doing it on the day of, but Linna was AMAZING! She was full of knowledge, confidence, and she was very cool, calm, and collected. During the shuffle and stress of the day, she was very patient, and confident that everything was going to be beautiful. Linna took her time on everyone's hair she touched, and Markesha did everyone's makeup. My girls looked SO GOOD!!!!! Linna did both my hair and makeup, and I was the last to get service. At that time, things were getting very stressful, and I had an allergic reaction to something I ate. Linna and Markesha made sure they soothed my skin and did everything they could to make sure that I looked beautiful. At the end of the day, I was not disappointed AT ALL! These ladies made me, my mom, mother in law, and bridesmaids all so beautiful. We felt like we had our own personal glam squad!
My biggest fear was that my hair would be too tight and my makeup wouldn't stick through tears and sweat (it was heat index 105 on my wedding day).
I never touched my makeup up the entire evening, and my hair was more than I could ever dream of.

It was 95 degrees and the venue was a rustic place so it did not cool down as much as we had hoped. Even with sweating our hair and makeup looked wonderful all night. I am SO glad we had Sunny for hair and makeup for my wedding. The only vendor category that my venue would not provide recommendations for was hair and makeup, so I was on my own looking for an artist for the day of. We had Sunny Hair & Makeup do my bridal and the bridesmaids’ hair and makeup, and they did our flower girls’ hair. Everything was FANTASTIC! Sunny personally did all of my and my mother’s (matron of honor) hair and makeup, and I received numerous compliments on my hair and overall look at the wedding and afterwards. Sunny was absolutely fantastic! She did my hair and makeup for engagements, bridals and wedding day. I loved what she did for me for all three occasions! If you can't decide who you want to do your wedding hair and makeup, Sunny is your girl!! She did my hair and makeup for my engagements, bridals, and then wedding day. Everything always looked AMAZING. And I have to say, the makeup AND hair lasted a long time. My hair struggles to hold curls sometimes because of the Houston humidity, but I was still able to have my hair and makeup done the next day, which just shows the high quality of her products and work. She also takes the time to actually talk to you while she's making your pretty, which is nice because it makes you feel comfortable. She and an assistant did hair and/or makeup for majority of my bridesmaids as well and they were stunners! I went to another wedding a few days after my own and those girls did not look as beautiful as Sunny made us! She took exactly what I wanted for all three of my trials and made it come to life. Plus, to top it off, she is just super sweet and friendly! What more could you want?! If a friend of mine gets married, I'm definitely going to point them in Sunny's direction. Hands down.

(That meant a lot to me considering I had 10 Bridesmaids!) For my trial hair and make-up the forecast was heavy rain and she was so flexible! She had no problem rescheduling for a non-rainy day so that my trial hair and make-up would be perfect for my bridal shoot. Sunny is the best of the best! I HIGHLY recommend Sunny & her team for hair and make-up on your wedding day! I went in for a trial a few months prior to the big day, and her quality of work and experience was truly amazing. I had an original hairstyle picked out without a part - she mentioned that a lot of brides like the hairstyle in pictures but feel strange in real life given there is no part. She did the hairstyle on me any way and of course she was right with her prediction that it didn't feel just right on me! She quickly came up with a different option and fixed my hair perfectly. Along the way, I had a lot of changes to our services with Sunny as some bridesmaids decided last minute they wanted make-up and I completely forgot about false eyelashes. Sunny was super accommodating with these last minute requests! On the day of the wedding, Sunny and her team were absolutely AMAZING! They were fun to be around while getting ready and their work was flawless for me, my 6 bridesmaids, mom and mother-in-law. They highlighted the best features on each person and their range of skills really showed since everyone had different styles! So many of our wedding guests complimented our hair and make-up! I only wish Sunny could do my hair and make-up every day :-)

Each one listened intently to what each bridesmaid wanted and did a wonderful job recreating the look asked for. Each was so friendly and did beautiful hair and makeup. For my engagement photos, Sunny curled my hair with probably 3 different tools because I kept changing my mind on how I wanted it. She was so sweet and accommodating! On the wedding day, my hair and makeup turned out even better than I first thought it would! I liked it even better than the pictures I had shown her. Each was quick yet thorough and was willing to do any changes or touchups along the way. Sunny and her team were very affordable especially for the knowledge and expertise they had. I had Sunny for my wedding hair and makeup and my bridesmaid's hair. You cannot go wrong with Sunny! She was always very easy to get ahold of via text phone and email. I did a trial run and she was so professional. She used high end make up like MAC, Urban Decay, and all of the other nice makeup. She did a beautiful updo exactly the way I asked. I hired her right after. On my actual wedding day she came to my hotel without any problems right on time and got to work. My bridesmaids all of the sudden wanted all of this extra stuff that they didn't request and she happily did them because we had a little extra time. I was incredibly happy with her work and she honestly felt like one of the girls, too! Love her work, and would recommend her to all of my friends getting married after me!

Sunny did my make-up and hair for my engagement photo shoot and I was so pleased, I booked her for my wedding day. I showed her pictures of what I wanted for hair and makeup during both occasions and she delivered. Wedding day was a lot of work. She had to get 4 bridesmaids, maid of honor, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, aunt, grandma AND BRIDE ready with hair and makeup in about 4 hours. I used Sunny for my wedding back in June. I would HIGHLY recommend her! Not only did she do an exceptional job on my hair and makeup, but she was flexible and easy to talk to as well. I had a large group of girls and family for my wedding (approximately 16) and she was able to get a team together that did a wonderful job. Sunny did an amazing job with my hair and makeup and my mother's makeup. She listened to every request and was very respectful towards my preferences and wishes. I felt beautiful the entire day and loved my hairstyle so much I didn't want to take it down. Sunny was professional, courteous, and friendly, and I highly recommend her to all brides.

Sunny Hair & Makeup did an awesome job for our wedding. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful! Sunny and her team were very sweet and we enjoyed having them around for our pre-wedding fun. She was always quick to respond to emails and was patient and accommodating when I kept switching the number of girls who were needing their hair/makeup done. I would highly recommend her for your wedding day beauty!

I used Sunny for my big day, two weeks ago. I don't wear makeup normally and I was nervous about how it would feel on my face; I worried it would be too itchy and uncomfortable. I knew that I was going to look amazing regardless because she had done my best friend's hair and makeup a couple of months ago. Sure enough she did not disappoint. I looked so amazing thanks to her! The airbrush makeup was the way to go because I did not get itchy or uncomfortable at all. She made me feel comfortable about wearing the false eyelashes by telling me what to expect. For the hair, what impressed me was her ability to replicate the hair dos I wanted for myself, my mom, and mother in law on the spot. I was so last minute on that and she did such an amazing job on all of us! She was very nice and friendly from the beginning and very professional. I think we got a very good deal for the quality of work that she provided. Not to mention the fact that she shows her prices on her website unlike many other vendors out there, for me that was a big plus and stress relief.

Sunny did an AMAZING job for my bridals and my wedding day. She listened to what I wanted and transformed my hair/makeup to exactly that! She's got the sweetest personality and her crew was phenomenal in doing all of my bridesmaid's hair/makeup. I'd highly recommend her - she's so talented and great to work with!

Sunny was amazing to work with! She knew exactly what she was doing and listened to all my comments. When my hair didn't hold up as well as I thought it would for my bridals, she made some changes for the wedding day and it was perfect. All my bridesmaids loved their hair. I was afraid of how heavy the makeup would look, but she made it look natural and beautiful.
I would recommend her to anyone!

Sunny did my hair and make up for my wedding and I am soooooo glad I chose her! She made me feel and look like a princess! I showed her pictures of the hair and make up I wanted since I wasn't able to do the trials and she mastered both! She did exactly what I wanted, she was very affordable, she's sweet and most importantly.....she was on time!! I have recommended her to several of my friends and they loved her too!

Sunny is a very professional and an outstanding make up artist.
Anytime I had a question or concern she would respond in a timely manner. There were no delays in her responses especially via email. I had many issues with this in the past trying to contact different vendors for my wedding but Sunny was on point every time.
I did a trial run for my make up with her, which was simple, easy and professional.
For the big day she did my hair and make up, as well as my bridesmaids hair. I got the airbrushed make up and it looked very natural. I was a little hesitant due to the fact of people telling me that i never matches their neck. I felt beautiful once I was make up! Just how any bride should feel, a princess. There were a couple minor tweaks I had made different from my trial look and she followed my instruction perfectly. The finished product was flawless. And I had a huge pimple to cover!
In the end I did not have one bad experience with Sunny. She is timely, professional, easy to communicate with, laid back, and budget friendly. I have no doubt that she can make the same experience for your big day as memorable as she did for me,

Sunny's team came over and prepared myself (bride) and the bridal party for the big day! They did a wonderful job providing each person with the look they liked. I would highly recommend. Sunny is very easy to work with over email, and her online portfolio says it all. Beautiful!

I'm so glad I chose Sunny to be our make-up artist for the wedding. She did an excellent job on my make-up as well as the make-up for my bridesmaids.
I had decided that I wanted airbrush done for the wedding. I arranged a trial run with Sunny, she was very flexible in finding a time when I was available to meet her for the trial. My makeup looked great at the trial with one exception. I have large pores and the airbrush make-up seemed to amplify them. I expressed this concern to Sunny. She said that she could get a pore minimizing primer that would help. I was a little nervous, and hoped it would work out.
On my wedding day Sunny arrived on time and got started. She had brought the primer as promised and it made a world of difference. My make-up looked flawless and other than touching up my lips (with a touch up kit Sunny provides) I didn't have to touch my face all night. My make-up was still flawless at the end of my reception.
Not only does Sunny do a great job, but she is a sweetheart too! I felt absolutely stunning on my big day thanks to Sunny!

Sunny is the sweetest person and she made me look and feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! I don't wear a lot of makeup and I usually don't wear it at all so I asked for a natural look and she did an amazing job for myself AND my bridesmaids. Not only did the makeup look awesome but my hair turned out lovely as well. All I did was bring a picture to the trial run and she made it exactly! I couldn't have asked for a better hairstylist for my wedding day!! Sunny is an absolute doll and made my wedding day hair beautiful (and exactly what I asked for). She squeezed me into her schedule a month before the wedding, met with me for a consultation a week or so later and literally catered to my every request. She is on-time, professional and responds promptly via text or email. I would definitely recommend Sunny to any of my friends for any event, not just weddings! She did two styles for me, came to my hotel in the morning to do ceremony hair and then came to the reception venue to take my hair down and re-style! I was very pleased with her work and flexibility....Thanks Sunny!!!

Also, she did a wonderful job of making my makeup look very natural. She listened to everything I said I did and didn't like, and it all looked better than I imagined. You Need Sunny and Her Team!
I cannot recommend Sunny Hair and Makeup enough! April was my hair and makeup artists for my trial and the big day. At my trial I was unsure if I wanted to use airbrush makeup, but April convinced me otherwise! She captured my exact vision and I had never felt more beautiful. Sunny and Cricket were the other two artists on the wedding day, and they were fantastic! All of my bridesmaids, mom, and mil were so happy with their hair and makeup and everyone looked so beautiful! I am so happy I had Sunny’s team for my big day.

Everything went smoothly, we had two stylists. Finished early and accommodated some indecisive ladies. Very responsive in listening to requests and altering requests before the big day. The girls look beautiful and had hairstyles that were worth every penny.
