We cannot say enough amazing things about Sun Dream Yacht Charters! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely flawless. Wendy, the wedding coordinator, was nothing short of incredible—infinitely patient, always accessible, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was perfect. No matter how many questions I had, she was always quick to respond and so reassuring throughout the entire planning process.
The service on the yacht exceeded every expectation. My guests are still raving about how attentive and friendly the entire crew was. Everyone felt taken care of and welcomed from the moment they stepped on board.
We were leery when we were told we couldn’t do a food tasting, as my husband and I are huge foodies and having good food at our wedding was a big deal to us. However, we took a leap of faith, and it turned out the food was absolutely delicious, with everyone raving about one item or another.
One moment that truly stood out was how thoughtfully the staff handled dietary needs. One of my guests has celiac disease, and when he mentioned it to a server, he was immediately brought a special plate of gluten-free items. He was completely blown away by the care and attention—it meant so much to him and to us.
Sun Dream Yacht Charters delivered an unforgettable experience with exceptional service, professionalism, and heart. We had so much fun, and I am already thinking of booking them again if we ever renew our vows or celebrate a milestone birthday. Amazing day thanks to Kristin, Carol and the whole Sun Dream Yacht Crew!!!
Our experience with Sundream Yacht Charters was nothing short of extraordinary. Planning a destination wedding from Boston came with its fair share of anxieties, but thanks to the exceptional team at Sundream, our special day was not only flawless but truly unforgettable.
From the very beginning, Kristen, the manager, was an absolute dream to work with. Her professionalism, promptness, and attention to detail set the tone for what would become the easiest planning process imaginable. She was always just an email or call away, responding quickly to every question, big or small. Kristen’s dedication ensured that every element of our wedding was thoughtfully organized, making us feel confident and at ease despite the distance. Her ability to anticipate our needs and address concerns before they even arose truly showcased her expertise and commitment to excellence.
Then there was Carol, our on-board event coordinator, who took our breath away with her impeccable attention to detail. From the moment we stepped onto the yacht, it was clear that Carol had meticulously curated every aspect of our event. Her warm, calming presence allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day, knowing she had everything under control. The decor, the flow of the event, the coordination with vendors—every detail was executed to perfection. Carol’s passion for her work shone through in every interaction, making us feel like our wedding was as special to her as it was to us.
The yacht itself was stunning, offering a luxurious and elegant backdrop that our guests are still raving about. The ambiance, the seamless service, and the breathtaking views created an atmosphere of pure magic.

Mark and I had our dream wedding on Sun Dream. It was a superb experience, from beginning to end. The yacht, the décor, the location, the water, the food, the music … Need I say more?
Ms. Kristin Sloan was in charge of our account. She showed us two yachts when we were still trying to decide on our wedding venue (Sun Dream and Catalina). From the first moment we saw the Sun Dream, we fell in love with it. It is like a jewel. A bit tighter than the other yachts, I would say, but just right for about 40-50 people. Kristin was always available for the many questions that I had about the event. She showed great knowledge, patience, and professionalism, even after the wedding.
The yacht has its own caterers and recommends certain decorators and DJs who are familiar with the yacht, but they also accept other vendors, as well. We chose the yacht caterers, which proved to be a great decision. The passed starters, the entrée, the desserts and wedding cake, everything was incredible! Besides, the service during our 5-hour wedding was exceptional, very prompt and professional. For days our guests raved about the food quality and the wedding in general.
I highly recommend Sun Dream, for any special occasion, whether wedding, birthday, retirement party, or corporate event.

My husband and I recently had our ceremony and reception on the My sundream yacht with sundream yacht charters on April 20th. From the first email working with Crista and Kristen, to the hand off to the day of coordinator Wendy, everything was absolutely perfection. We picked sundream because we wanted an all inclusive style wedding that was laid back and we couldn’t have asked for anything better than what we received. The food was off the charts incredible- the chef is also the sweetest person in the world- our family and friends are still raving over the food. THE STAFF. I truly wish I had all the money in the world to tip this staff because they deserve it. Wendy was incredible, she scheduled everything for us day of and made sure every detail was locked down. Also, she is so funny and sweet and overall I loved having her in my corner for our wedding day. Her team on the boat- Kimberley and the others- amazing people and incredible at their job. They made this day TOP NOTCH.
I could write all day about how we had the time of our lives… but I think you get the point. Book sundream NOW for your wedding, event, whatever it is!! Thank you everyone for making our dream come true❤️ -

An Amazing Wedding Venue The Best Ever
Getting married in the Venice of America in Fort Lauderdale ? Why not consider the Sun Dream Charted experience ? This is an amazing venue. Being married on a Private Yacht by its captain on the inland waterway. This was an outstanding experience that will last a life time. I started eyeing this venue about 4 years ago & immediately knew this was where I'd get married. After life getting in the way a couple times we finally set our date in January 2021.. I didn't want a high stress wedding, I wanted something all inclusive & something that captured the beauty & specifically the sunsets of south Florida. My fiancé and I had met fishing, love to boat & are both born and raised Floridians so the idea of using a yacht for a venue, fit us perfectly. We worked with Kristen to plan our wedding in just 5 months. Sun Dream is truly a dream team to work with. Everything was handled by their staff from the incredible buffet (we chose mahi, prime rib & a shrimp pasta! yum), appetizers, deserts, the cake, the set up of the reception & ceremony, the bar tenders (open bar.. yay!), captain who performed the ceremony, wait staff, to the awesome Rose, my wedding coordinator, everyone is on their A++ game & made sure my wedding went flawlessly! I am still getting non-stop compliments on our wedding about everything from how cool it was to be on a yacht, the food, the vibe, the décor, the staff, the sunset, the ceremony.. everything was perfect! My wedding literally surpassed all my little girl fantasies of my dream wedding! I wish I could do it all again! Our kids want us to do it again! Maybe an anniversary party down the road! it was truly an incredible, magical, dream come true evening that I'll never forget! -

A very special day.
Due to the pandemic, our dream wedding was put on hold for eight months. We are so glad we did not cancel. It turned out to be the best wedding we could have asked for.
Sun Dream Yacht made our wedding a day to remember. From our first meeting with Kristin to the day of our wedding, she made sure our wedding was perfect from start to finish. Carol, I can't thank enough. She coordinated everything, making sure it all went well. David made sure my flowers were amazing. They were more beautiful than I could have imagined. The food was excellent which everyone enjoyed. The chef and servers were great and the bartenders were very accommodating. We danced the night away with DJ Ray (he's the best). The guests were so happy to join us as we set sail on our new life together. We had the best wedding ever. -

Words can’t express how impressed I was with the service from every team member!! Kristin exceeded my expectations every time we spoke despite my bridal nerves and Rose... oh my gosh Rose!!! The reviews say it all. You won’t be disappointed with Sun Dream Yacht Charters. Worked with Kristin for over a year planning our wedding then throw in Covid and she and the team went above and beyond. Almost postponed several times, (glad I didn’t) but each time they were flexible and accommodating. As far as the wedding day itself, it was magic! Rose, Jim and entire staff were awesome and incredibly helpful, they took care of everyone. Also, theres a reason they are known for their food..it was delicious! I received so many compliments from guests. I would highly recommend to book your special day with them, know you are in good hands. -

Best wedding ever!
If there was ever a company that deserved a review it is Sundream Yacht Charters!! Because of Covid, my dream wedding in Italy had to be cancelled. Totally heartbroken I was resigned to just go to the courthouse as I couldn't imagine anything coming close to what I had already planned. But my wonderful mom found Sundream and I grudgingly went to check it out. The moment I stepped onto the boat It was like a switch flipped in my head and suddenly I could imagine myself getting married there. There are not enough words to describe what an absolute miracle worker Kristin is!! Responding to all my (and my very involved loving mothers) every email and phone call. Helping us every step of the way, her warmth and kindness as we navigated planning our last minute wedding was extraordinary!! As the wedding grew larger we ended up switching the boat not once but twice and each time the staff at Sundream accommodated us and supported us in every way possible. We ended up on the Caprice and let me tell you that everyone who came said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!! The food was amazing (Chef Ian is a masterful chef- make sure you order the coconut shrimp) and the entire staff were a joy!! David did the floral arrangements and they were so beautiful!! Jim and Rose are a powerteam and made sure everything ran smoothly!! We danced the night away thanks to our Eddie B DJ Roberto who was a total pro and I can truly say that the wedding I ended up having was my dream wedding!!! Coasting down the intercoastal at sunset and being with all the people I love- life doesn't get much better then that!! Thank you so much Sundream!!!! You made this bride the happiest person in the world!! A+++++! -

Despite the challenges of Covid, Sun Dream really helped us have the wedding of our dreams! Everyone was so pleased and thought a yacht wedding? What an amazing idea
Sun Dream was easy to communicate with and made sure everything was perfect even following certain precautions due to covid, all of our guests were very happy with how that was handled. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, the views were even better! Thank you guys so much! -

Couldn’t be happier with our Sun Dream experience!
My son and new daughter in law were married on the Caprice last week. It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to. From start to finish, the Sun Dream team were there 100%, making sure everything went as planned. Kristen has been amazing helping us through the whole “Planning a wedding during Covid”...she was always just a phone call away and was more than helpful answering all our questions and concerns. Rose was a true joy to work with...she was part of the wedding day crew and was right there for anything we needed! I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff. Food was out of this world, the DJ was great, florist did a beautiful job! It was all just perfect! Thank you Sun Dream for helping create a magical wedding day for the bride and groom!!❤️ -

We live in London so to plan a wedding miles across the Atlantic in Fort Lauderdale - and ask our guests to fly in from all over the world - was a big ask... But everyone at Sun Dream Yacht Charters - especially the Wedding Wonder Woman that is Kristin - made the magic happen, while it all appeared effortless.
From the start, Sun Dream were calmly there for us - and allowed us to adapt the wedding ceremony, reception and after party all to our (very specific) requirements. We wanted decor simple and done ourselves, we had the Captain marry us on deck, family and friends make speeches and another sing us down the aisle with his guitar. The Sun Dream team are friendly and such good value for money - to have the full bar included in our package was brilliant as we didn't have to worry about running out of alcohol for our thirsty friends and families - and the food...
The food needs a paragraph all to itself. Our guests are still talking about the beautiful buffet food and asking for the recipes (oh, the coconut-crusted Mahi Mahi...) We've all been to many many weddings and NEVER had better food. And all service was efficient so it didn't take long to seat our guests again. But that's how the Catalina is run - utterly organised and ship-shape and headed by CAROL.
We would have brought Carol back to London with us if we could. No nonsense, unflappable, kind, as soon as Carol was involved in the wedding, nothing went wrong and we could relax knowing that Carol had everything under control. The lady is a legend.
We had the brilliant recommended DJ Roberto who did an additional set up for us on the boat roof and after dinner everyone danced the rest of the night of the way under the stars and Norma's bistro lights.
One of our friends quietly said to us that it was better than her own wedding. That's how good our Sun Dream Wedding on the Catalina was. Just wish we could do it all over again. Thank you. -

This past Saturday we had our wedding on the Catalina. Everyone is talking about how amazing it was and that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. David was EXTREMELY helpful in getting everything ready for us. I was really last minute on somethings and he still made everything work perfectly, stress free. Carol was amazing as well. As soon as we boarded the boat she was on top of everything and made sure everything flowed perfectly. It was all super stress free and we were able to just focus on the fun! We wouldn’t have changed anything at all and we appreciate SO much everything Sun Dream Yacht Charters has done for us! -

My daughter got married on the Sun Dream in April ‘19 and every aspect of this venue was above and beyond what we could have hoped for. The planning with Kristin was so easy with immediate responses and fantastic ideas. The food was delicious! We did the gold buffet and I highly recommend it. I knew I wanted to be married on a yacht soon as my Husband proposed to me. I could not be happier with choosing Sun Dream. We got married on the Catalina yacht on March 2nd and the wedding was absolutely AMAZING!
Kristin, the sales representative that I was in contact with for the past year, is so sweet and so professional. I most appreciate how organized she and the company are, and how smoothly they made the entire planning process.
Carol, my day of coordinator was equally phenomenal. She made sure the wedding day timeline flowed seamlessly and had all of my vendors in place. I literally had no worries. She also made sure the groom and I were able to eat dinner.
Speaking of food, the catering was even better than I imagined. Some of my guests are picky eaters but every one agreed that the food was super flavorful. I opted for the wedding essentials package (super affordable) in which a wedding cake was included. Our cake was huge and delicious! I emailed a picture of the design I wanted to Kristin and the baker that Sun Dream uses literally recreated a flawless version.
My new husband and I are still on cloud nine from our perfect wedding. From A to Z, I couldn’t have asked for a better ceremony and reception. I’m so thankful for Sun Dream and I want them to know that their customer service supersedes any competitors. -
Capri Sent on 05/06/2018Everything. was. amazing! We got married on the Caprice and worked with Kristin and Rose. They were amazing as well as all the other staff. Food was awesome. The Captain married us, they took care of the cake, hooked us up with Norma who decorated the boat above and beyond our dreams, and took care of booking the D.J. making wedding planning a breeze. You would think it’s too good to be true but it’s not! Everyone said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We want to do it all over again! HIGHLY recommend.

We got married on the Caprice in February 2018, leaving from Sea Isle Marina in Miami. We started planning in April 2017 and had initially booked the Sun Dream anticipating around 70 guests. When the number shot up to 100 the team was so accommodating in helping us to move the reservation over to the Caprice which has a bigger capacity.
David George was so helpful, professional, accommodating and supportive all through the planning stage and very tolerant of our multiple visits to the yacht and special requests (we wanted special wines and champagnes, brought the boat down to Miami, extended the hours, had multiple vendors visiting in advance etc.).
In terms of the time slot, we are so pleased we paid for an extra 2.5 hours (we did 6.5 hours total). We wanted everyone to really enjoy the experience and party into the night, so glad we weren't rushed with just 4 hours.
The captain and crew were also incredible. Rose is a dream to work with (made everything run so smoothly) and the captain was so accommodating of our special requests re: route etc. Could not fault any of the service - in fact, it consistently went well above and beyond.
As well as incredible service, the food was top notch. All of our guests keep raving about it.
So far, all of our guests have told us it was one of the most incredible and memorable weddings they've been to and people actually keep asking if we can do it again! lol. All in all - our wedding on the Caprice far exceeded all of our already high expectations. Huge thanks to the whole Sun Dream team! -

They truly helped make our day unforgettable. They took care of EVERYTHING including my sister who was sick multiple times on the yacht I loved the care they gave to her. There aren't enough words to describe how much I loved them. All of our guests can't stop talking about how memorable our wedding was. The Caprice was literally one stop shopping! Being that my husband and I live in Memphis being able to get everything in one place was important to us (and the cake was DELICIOUS)! I could literally go on forever on all of the things we loved about our day! -

Carol the on board doc was amazing and very attentive on our wedding day and made sure we had drinks in our hands at all times.
Kristen answered all of my questions with regards to boarding/pricing and very flexible with when I wanted to see the yacht.
Everyone had a great time and loved having the ceremony and reception there. My only regret is not paying more money to have more time on yacht. -

She will answer all of your ridiculously random questions that pop into your head at a moment's notice and will do so happily with a smile. We had our wedding on the Catalina in July, which was a huge risk in south Florida, but everything ended up absolutely amazing. The yacht was beautiful. The food was great. The drinks were flowing. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We had a few kinks as any wedding does, but the staff just handled everything effortlessly. I was completely stress free and had the time of my life. This venue is absolutely perfect for an all in one package. The simplicity of only have a few vendors really cut my stress level down. The ease at which Kristin, our account manager, worked with those outside vendors we picked, made things go even more seamlessly. You cannot beat the service, the food or the price. We had looked at other yacht companies, but we're just blown away by this company and their family like feel, which is often difficult to find when working with vendors. I would recommend this venue to all brides looking for a uniquely beautiful ceremony and an awesome time for all of your guests.
P.s. The cake is amazing! It is included with the ceremony package and completely worth it. All I had to do was send a picture from Pinterest and they created the cake of my dreams that was also really tasty! -

I planned everything from Ohio and booked without even seeing the yacht. I had contacted several yacht charters in south Florida and I knew by talking to Kristin the first time that this was exactly what I was looking for. She was really knowledgeable and you could tell she thought this was the best yacht to choose! I also really appreciate how easy it was to contact them by phone or email. Every time I called to ask my list of questions I would think I would be on the phone for a little while but I never was because they had the answer to every question I had instantly, everyone really knows what they are doing and that really helps when planning a destination wedding. Jim and the staff the night of the wedding were AMAZING!! Seriously all of our guest told me that night or after how great they were all treated and how they had the best time ever. I don't remember a lot of the details from that night but I do remember not worrying about anything. Thank you Sun Dream Yacht Charters for giving me an amazing and unique wedding that I'm sure our guests will never forget!!! -

They emailed and called and stayed up-to-date with all my changes, concerns, etc. Our wedding was 10/24/2015 and right before the wedding it was a torrential downpour, but Jim was on it! He put all my worries at ease. The wedding night on the Sun Dream Yacht was an absolute blast! I felt stress free and had so much fun! I did not want the night to end! The food was delicious and our guests are still raving about the entire experience! I cannot recommend the Sun Dream Yacht Charters and their services enough. THANK YOU! -

Totally accessible and answered all questions no matter how small or frequent. No detail was left out. I cannot stay is enough these folks are AMAZING. There is a reason why they have been in business so long and why their employees stay with them for years (and decades). From the Captain Pat to Carol... they made our night wonderful. I cannot imagine doing this without them. Our event was THE event of the year and possible the best wedding that all our friends and family have attended. From the food to the service... they truly did a great job. I would highly recommend Sun Dream to anyone... its almost like a one stop shop - but high class. Truly appreciate the staff cause they not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. They will make you feel special and your event will be special. -
