Best Food and Best Team and Attention to Detail

Our entire experience from start to finish with the Summit team was beyond wonderful. Francesca was absolutely fantastic and made us feel more like friends than clients, and that is something that meant so much to us on our special day!! She was our maitre d and made everything feel so comfortable and fun, while never missing the tiniest detail. Tori, was so wonderful as well, and similarly, put us at ease and helped take so much stress away the day of our wedding. Summit Catering has put together an absolutely amazing team, and I will recommend them to everyone I know!! They catered my wedding last Saturday and every single person there had soooooooo much FUN!!!! So many of our guests have told us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to!!! I wish we could do it all over again. They food was out of this world, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. They ensured our cake looked exactly the way I envisioned and went above and beyond every step of the way. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! We loved working with Summit!

Summit Catering Made Our Wedding Day Perfect

We had our wedding at the Community House of Moorestown and Summit Catering was our caterer. From start to finish, they exceeded every expectation.

Summit is a family-owned business, and you can feel that personal touch in everything they do. During the planning process, we worked closely with Tori, who guided us through each step and made everything simple and stress-free. About two weeks before the wedding, our maître d’, Shanna, met with us to walk through every detail from the ceremony setup to the cocktail hour to the reception layout. She was incredibly organized, thoughtful, and a true pleasure to work with. On our wedding day, Betty, our bridal attendant, was absolutely wonderful. She made sure we always had food and drinks, and the entire Summit team checked in throughout the night to make sure we were taken care of.

We loved that Summit allowed us to choose four entree options (including a vegetarian dish) and that each meat dish could have its own sides. They were also excellent about accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies, which meant so much to us and our guests. The food was outstanding and our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was.

Summit’s staff set up our decor beautifully throughout the Community House. Transitions between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were seamless. Many guests mentioned how perfectly timed and organized everything felt. The value was incredible for what was included. For our 125 person wedding, the per-person cost included catering, linens/glassware, bartenders, a DJ, and our choice of bakery for the wedding cake.

We’re so thankful to have had Summit as part of our day. They treated us like family and made sure everything was perfect. We highly recommend Summit Catering!

We love Summit!

Working with Summit was nothing short of amazing! From the first time we met, they provided us with resources, information, and support. Tori was truly a pleasure to work with. She answered any and every question we had, sometimes even before we asked! The planning process was smooth because of their communication and professionalism. Everyone always says the day of your wedding, you don't even get to eat the food you planned so thoroughly for. Not us! Tori made sure we ate food from cocktail hour and the sit down dinner. She made sure we sat down and actually ate! If you have the opportunity to work with Summit, I would take it. I am so glad we did.

My husband and I are SO glad that we used Summit Catering. Their entire team of staff was incredibly helpful throughout our wedding. Tori was our maitre d, and she was absolutely INCREDIBLE! She never hesitated to help with anything that we needed leading up to the event (including bearing with my several emails and questions). She was also instrumental in making our wedding an absolute dream by helping with preparation and also coordinating everything during the wedding. One of the best parts of our Wedding Day!

After taste testing with 4 other caterers, we met with Tori and tried Summit's food, and we were sold. Tori is professional, honest, organized and absolutely made our wedding day perfect! Tori ran the show that day, taking care of our parents, our bridal party, and us. Even after running into a hiccup at our reception, it was handled with grace and professionalism. Our guests were raving about their food - from cocktail hour to dinner and their infamous dessert train. Tori was great at communicating throughout the whole process, and made things a breeze! We could not be more pleased and we cannot recommend them enough!! We're looking forward to using them for our next event!!

Outdoor fall wedding

75 people attended my recent outdoor, at home, whimsical wedding which included summit catering. To my surprise two hours before guests arrived Francesca, Kevin, and the team showed up and were seemlessly in action setting up with no need for discussion or extended direction, they all just went in and did an incredible, stand up job. Guests were raving how amazing our butlered cocktail hour was, but all (including myself and new husband) were completely blown away by how delicious dinner was, it was 10 out of 10, high end steakhouse restaurant quality dinner. During our dinner there was no conversation to be heard, only the yums of food noises. I can't rave about them enough, Francesca helped with anything and everything she could, including setting up and cutting my cake, and making mine and my husbands dinner plates! I will be hiring summit catering again for anything and everything i can.

How do I even begin this? These guys were beyond what we could have imagined! The entire staff was something special! Tori our maître d’ was beyond what we could have imagine! Do NOT sleep on Summit!

Words cannot express how amazing Summit is. The communication from day 1 was fun and extremely helpful in guiding me through the process. Francesca and Betty were next level amazing. The servers were kind and helpful and every single person made our day that much more enjoyable. 11 days later and I’m still hearing comments about amazing food and a wonderful dessert presentation. five stars, best caterer hands down!!

We hired Summit Catering through the recommendation of our wedding planner at our venue, The Estate at Eagle Lake & it was the best decision we could have made for our wedding day!! From initial contact to the very last moment of our wedding, we had the most enjoyable experience with them. We mainly dealt with our Matire'd, Alysa, but the entire staff for Summit Catering was so helpful, kind, and attentive!! Alysa was up front about everything, no hidden fees or agendas, answered every phone call and email we sent and she was so comforting through the whole set up and day of our wedding. Alysa and her staff set up all our décor, with the help of our wedding planner and made our wedding feel so romantic and it was an absolute dream!!
We did not do any "manned" stations during cocktail hour and only had butlered hors d’oeuvres, which our guests absolutely raved about! They said every time they turned around another staff member was there with something new to try, we had so many options being passed around, our guests said they loved the variety.
Not once did we feel rushed during cocktail hour while taking our pictures. Alysa and her assistant, Ally, brought us and our bridal party trays of cocktail food, checked in on us and always made sure we had a drink nearby. When we wrapped up cocktail hour, our buffet dinner started. We had two carving stations- the stuffed roast pork loin and the herb crusted sirloin beef- chicken marsala, penne vodka, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans almondine. Every morsel of food was so decadent, well-seasoned, tender, HOT and honestly just perfect. The staff moved so quickly, and the line wasn’t a long wait at all. There was PLENTY of food, so much so that we had enough to-go containers to feed and share with our family and friends
Summit Catering works closely with a few bakeries and we went with Country Sweets Bakery in Woodbury, NJ for our wedding cake. We got a take home cake tasting kit and it was all DELICIOUS!! We got a four-tier cake and then they give you an additional tier for your anniversary cake 😊 We love that we didn’t have to do any favors because Summit packages up a slice as a thank you and provides it to your guests as they leave for the night. This is perfect because of all the desserts they provide to your tables, we love that the cake didn’t go to waste, like it does at most weddings!
We honestly can’t begin to thank Summit and their staff for making our day so special, so smooth and an absolute dream come true. We can’t wait to use them for future functions, absolutely 5 stars!!!!

Best Caterers Ever!

The staff at Summit Catering exceeded my expectations. They were so helpful and attentive to my husband and me. One thing people kept telling me was that we weren't going to get a chance to eat/drink on our wedding day. Alysa and Betty from Summit Catering always made sure we had a drink in our hand and food available. We did not leave hungry and neither did our guests! The food was phenomenal! We even had them cater our rehearsal dinner. They decorated my wedding venue perfectly. I was so nervous thinking I didn't buy enough decor but they made it work and everything was beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely incredible

Summit made our wedding day absolutely incredible. From the delicious food (that everyone commented on, saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding) to genuinely loving and enjoying the company of the staff, we could not have picked a better caterer. People always say that things WILL go wrong on your wedding day and to just roll with the punches, which I was more than prepared to do, but everything went exactly as it was supposed to- and that is thanks to summit. An Incredible Team

Summit Catering is an absolutely amazing company with an incredible team! Every person I came in contact with was kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. Dory, the owner, quickly and thoroughly replied to all our emails full of questions throughout our 1.5 year engagement. She was also our officiant for our wedding and helped make our ceremony so beautiful! She sent us a packet of different types of ceremonies to choose from and we basically got to build our own ceremony by taking our favorite parts from each of the pre-built ceremonies. Additionally, the food was sooo delicious!! We were able to try many different foods at our two tastings and each one was amazing! A week before our wedding, we met with our maitre d', Francesca to go over all the details. On the day of the ceremony, Francesca was sooo wonderful!! She ran the show; she made sure we had everything we needed and kept us on time. She even helped bustle my dress when my mom couldn't see the small buttons. Francesca quickly and gracefully handled any mishaps, and really made our wedding day feel easy and smooth. Francesca has a calm demeanor which helped keep me calm, and she was great at reading when I started to get stressed and needed a break. She was truly amazing and we're so grateful we got to work with her. Brianna was our attendant and she made sure we always had our favorite drinks and appetizers with us; this included in the bridal suite after the ceremony, in between taking pictures during cocktail hour, and during our reception. I truly cannot commend Summit enough for their food and staff!!! You will not regret picking Summit for your wedding!!

Our Wedding Day

My wife and I chose Summit Catering for our wedding at the Estate at Eagle Lake. Prior to meeting with Summit Catering, we had participated in two tastings with other caterers that just missed the mark. Summit knocked it out of the park. Their professionalism is truly above and beyond the rest and the food was amazing. Dory, Tori, and Alysa, were all responsive and went to great lengths to ensure everything met our expectations. Betty, who was our main attendant during our wedding, was an absolute treasure. Summit offers an extremely diverse food selection for your wedding. In particular, our favorite dish, which is incredibly unique for a wedding, was the Mongolian beef. The food and service by Summit was one of the main reasons our guests raved about our wedding being one of their favorites. Thank you all so much for making our wedding day so special!

Dory and Joe (the owners) are as professional as you can get! Super responsive, super attentive… super everything! Came to our place (which wasn’t close!) to check out where they were doing our wedding on the beach. This was after they agreed to do our wedding. Summit helped us have the best day ever!

The highest level of professionalism

Unbelievable food, a built-in DJ and dance floor "extras" like cold spark fountains, the most beautiful cake, and an on-hand maitre'd and bridal attendant made Summit so incredibly easy to work with. Dory responded to all of our questions promptly throughout the planning process, and we were BLESSED to have Francesca as our maitre'd and Alysa as our bridal attendant - DEFINITELY request them if you can! Perfection from start to finish

My now-husband and I recently celebrated our wedding with Summit Catering, and the experience was nothing short of perfection. Not only was the food delicious (we especially recommend the crabmeat-stuffed shrimp), but Summit took care of so many logistics of the big day — making the actual wedding planning as close to stress-free as humanly possible. Everyone on staff was so helpful, professional, and friendly; my husband and I both fielded endless, very specific compliments from our guests (too numerous to fit in the character count).

Name-checking a few specific staff members who really came through: Alysa was absolutely instrumental in the planning stages (as well as on the wedding day!), answering any and all questions we had, as well as providing helpful logistical tips. She even ran out to get more of a particular alcohol we underestimated demand for! Francesca, our maitre d’ for the wedding, was incredibly attentive and ensured the entire day went off without a hitch. We were her first couple as maitre d’, and you’d never guess it by how smoothly everything ran. Betty was assigned as our personal attendant and made sure that we ate, drank, and generally wanted for nothing — she even got a seat cushion for my grandfather (who has some physical limitations) so he was able to comfortably enjoy the day.

My husband and I could not recommend Summit Catering more. We appreciate everything they did for us so we could kick back, relax, and celebrate with our loved ones and each other. Thank you to Alysa, Francesca, Betty, and everyone at Summit who worked our wedding!

The best team ever

Summit Catering was the BEST! They were the one-stop shopping that worked perfectly for our day. Dory was the best coordinator we could have asked for. Due to the pandemic and constant changes, Dory kept us both calm and promised of the best day for us. She had a great team of outside vendors that were included in our wedding package. Summit took care of our cake, the DJ, and the bar and wait staff at Valenzano Winery. Tori was our maitre d and we could have not asked for a smoother day. Our guests raved about all the delicious food, the great entertainment, and the perfect atmosphere weeks after the wedding. Best Day Ever- Thanks to Summit Catering!

What a spectacular day from start to finish!! All our guests had an amazing time- multiple guests even told it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended! It’s been over a month and our friends and family are still talking about it! Dory’s team did an amazing job with everything. The communication prior to the wedding was top notch! Whenever we had questions or concerns, they were addressed ASAP. Then Alyssa made sure our wedding day was completely flawless. We weren’t sure exactly how we wanted our decorations set up and Alyssa said, “No worries I got this, this is what I do,” and everything looked perfect! She even decorated our cake herself with our flowers. She claimed it was her first time, but it looked like she’s been doing it for years! We’re so grateful for how stress free she made our day. Simply the BEST!

We booked Summit Catering for our wedding on 10/1/21 at Vintner's Pavilion at Valenzano Winery, and it was honestly one the best decisions we made for our big day!! Dory, Alysa, Hailey, & Betty were truly AMAZING to work with from the time that we initially toured our venue and booked our date all the way to the wedding day itself and after! The team was always there to help with the planning process along the way. Whenever I had a question, Dory, Alysa & Hailey were there right away to answer. I asked tons of questions, and they were always patient with me and accommodating! On the wedding day itself, Alysa & Betty were the absolute best! They set up all the decor exactly as we wanted (and to be honest made it even look better than what we envisioned). They were always there to help our bridal party and parents, and they made sure the day ran smoothly and on time. Our guests raved about the service & the food!!! The entire team at Summit is truly on their A+ game. They do weddings unlike I've ever seen. We truly can't thank them enough for all that they did to make our day perfect. Incredibly amazing perfection!

Summit Catering offers wedding packages which include personalized service, food, DJ, cake, bar and wait staff, as well as preferred outside vendors. One stop shopping!
And it was perfection!! The food, from cocktail hour through dessert, was delicious and well plated! Stu, the DJ, kept the reception hopping from start to finish! (I blame him for allowing the night to fly by. Lol)
The wait staff was extremely attentive and professional! Although I can only attest to Betty who attended our table, I did receive rave feedback from other guests about their servers. The bartenders kept up with everyone in the room. There was never a back up at the bar. The entire staff was friendly, sociable, helpful and their enjoyment of their jobs was clear. I also took notice that they worked very well alongside the outside vendors.
The bridal attendant, Brianna, was extremely attentive. My daughter never had to look for her as she was always right there! And always with a smile on her face.
The maître d’, Alyssa, was a dynamo! It is rare to come across someone with that much professionalism, gusto, and focus. She commanded the entire event! If there was any glitch it wasn’t noticeable, as it seemed to all that everything was perfect! Alyssa made sure that everyone was able to fully enjoy the long awaited evening.
No detail was overlooked and my daughter was able to relax and have a great time.
The owners are very fortunate to employ the people they do. It’s obvious their preferred vendors were well vetted. They were all an incredible group of people and were extremely easy to work with.

If you have the chance to work with Summit Catering, DO IT! Summit Catering made our dream day a reality. We got married on June 12, 2021 at Valenzano Winery after 3 date changes due to the pandemic and it was a dream come true. Since the moment we first met with Dory back in early 2019 we knew we had made the right decision and that we were in good hands. The team thinks of everything and does not stop short of perfection. The food is incredible—we knew it from our tastings and meetings, but our guests could not stop raving about it either. The attention to detail and the décor to match your theme is so spot on. The staff is incredible and helpful throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself- Tori and Mary went above and beyond! We truly did not have to stress about anything or ever worry about if something was or wasn’t being done, the team at Summit is top-notch and doesn’t leave out one detail. Unforgettable Wedding

We worked with Dory, Alysa, and Betty for our Wedding a reception at Valenzano Winery and it was nothing but spectacular. Dory came through with a last minute tv for us to use for a slide show we wanted to show our guests And Alysa and Betty was always there with a new drink, plate of food, or any help we needed. The entire staff was incredible and fun, they even joined the Congo line. I would strongly recommend choosing them as your vendor if you are planning a wedding. BEST day ever!!

Depend on them to make your day special

I can't recommend Summit enough. Their food quality blew all other caterers out of the water for us to start. They handled my dietary restriction (dairy allergy) so well and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. They have plenty of staff available to you on your day and they are constantly checking in to make sure you have everything you need. Having both a maitre'd and assistant truly made it so much easier on us. You will not be disappointed in choosing Dory and her team.

Best day ever!

Our guests are still talking about our wedding and food a month later thanks to Dory, Hailey and the whole team! Planning a wedding during COVID could have been difficult, but Dory made it as stress free as possible with her industry knowledge, positive outlook, and open communication. Incredible from soup to nuts!

Summit Catering is hands down one of the best! Our wedding reception had to be rescheduled in less than 3 weeks and Dory and her team brought all of our ideas to life. From the moment we contacted them, they jumped right into action and helped put us at ease and calm us down as we were panicking. They helped us pick the best food options for an outdoor venue, and provided us with plenty of information in great detail. The food at the wedding did NOT disappoint. The mongolian beef was INCREDIBLE, people are still asking about it weeks later. The cake and desserts were delicious, and we even asked for a specialty cake and it was exactly as we had imagined. We cannot thank Dory, Betty our Maitre D and the rest of the Summit staff enough for making our wedding dreams come true! We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Such an amazing team to work with

Dory and her team were absolute lifesavers. When covid and travel restrictions forced us to relocate to our yard 2 1/2 hours away from them and our original location, they wasted no time helping us sort out a new plan and stuck by us. Dory was quick to respond every time we had a question (even on her days "off") and the food was amazing. People are still talking about how good it was!

The best wedding and reception ever!!! (Of course, I'm a little biased)

So it's time for your only daughter's wedding and you are planning the reception. You want everything to be perfect. This can be a stressful experience. When we met with Summit Catering, we knew right away that they were the right team for the job. They answered all of our initial questions confidently and professionally. You knew that this wasn't their "first rodeo". They offered so many helpful tips right from the get go.

Dory helped us decide the menu. Of course, the tasting was one of many great memories. There was no pressure in picking the menu. Dory walked us through everything and made great suggestions based on her experiences. Now that we were on our way to planning the best reception ever, Dory made sure that we weren't stressed about anything.

I next met Tori at the rehearsal. This was perfect. This allowed Tori to meet us and the rest of the wedding party. She also made some real practical suggestions to make the day the best day ever. Everyone who interacted with her complemented about her professionalism and great personality.

The day of the wedding, Summit Catering arrived and had things set up quickly. They worked with us as we decorated the venue. The whole team that day was fantastic and hard working. Tori lead the team with precision and took care of every detail. The food was delicious. During the cocktail hour, the food was elegantly presented. It was a perfect selection of appetizers to set up for the main meal. Dinner was delicious and everyone remarked how good it was. The Mongolian beef was definitely the crowd favorite. And behind it all, Tori lead her team so that we didn't have to do anything but enjoy ourselves.

I can't say enough great things about Summit Catering. They are professional, offer great advice, and, most importantly, the food was delicious. From the top to bottom, everyone was absolutely great to work with. All the guest remarked how great everything was.

So now that the wedding and reception is over - it was the best wedding and reception ever!!! (Of course, I'm a little biased).

We hired Summit catering for our wedding 10/19/19 at Valenzano Winery and EVERYTHING was amazing, a dream come true and was executed perfectly!! Dory and the Summit catering staff gives 5 STAR customer service, the day of the wedding my husband and I needed or wanted nothing because our personal assistant was on top of everything! Tory IS HANDS DOWN AMAZING!!! I love her and so did my family!! She was so attentive to my 94 year old grandfather and he was just blown away by her! I was standing near the bar telling a guest I wanted to try the Coquito...well I turned around and the bartender had a glass of Coquito in his hand with a big smile on his face as he handed it to me. I was blown away by how attentive he was to me even when I wasn’t at the bar! My guests raved about the cocktail hour and reception dinner! Some comments I’ve received were, “best cocktail hour food I have ever had” “wedding of the year” “The only time I sat down was for dinner I had so much fun” “Drinks, food and service were absolutely amazing” “I have never been to a wedding and had that much fun, it was a PARTY” I can go on and on! They made our day so memorable! Oh and the staff saved me when they realized I forgot my pen for guests to sign my wooden guest book, they found pens for me! I couldn't have gotten any luckier with this company!

We had the best experience with Summit Catering. We spoke with several companies prior to booking them. Nobody compared to them professionally or personally. Eric goes above and beyond for his clients. He is extremely knowledgable and ensures that things go exactly as planned. We wanted someone who was honest and direct. Eric is perfect if you need someone to give you the best advice throughout your wedding planning. Everything from the food to the service was impeccable. My husband and I were waited on personally to ensure we didn't miss a thing on our big day. We got married April 20th at the Community House in Moorestown. Eric's staff made sure our bridal suite was attended to personally, that our guests were having a great time, and that all the small details didn't go unnoticed. Tori was our day of coordinator and exuded the utmost professionalism. People are still talking about how impressed they were with the dessert parade, seafood dinner, drinks, and appetizers. Every vendor that they recommendeded was superb and equally as great. I didn't have to think about anything on the big day. It was magical. A huge thank you to Summit for making our day perfect. Made my dreams come true!

My fiance and I first met with Dory to go over all about the wedding packages and pricing. As soon as we met with Dory and Eric we knew that we found our caterer for our Jan 12, 2019 wedding at valenzano winery! Eric was my go to person for everything! He was a built in personal wedding planner as well as in charge of all the catering aspects. Every time I contacted Eric he would reply back to me so quickly. Theresa was our mait'd who was excellent. The entire cocktail hour and reception was spectacular with no hiccups. Summit was wonderful and surprised my fiance and myself with something I will never forget! We were also surprised with a gift from my dad and step mom of a LOVE design ice sculpture! My wedding dreams were surpassed and I couldn't help but feel like I was a princess! All the wedding quest couldn't stop taking about how wonderful the service and food was. We had a buffet style dinner and several people went up as many as three times since the food was so good! Summit helped make my daughter's dreams come true!

Summit Catering hosted my daughter’s wedding at the Valenzano Winery in January 2019.
Dory, Eric and the Summit staff did an amazing job! The ice-sculpture was amazing and the pyrotechnics was a great surprise to all. The DJ had great energy and the dance floor was filled the entire night. The food was awesome and the service was fantastic.

Eric began our journey with Summit with exceptional responsiveness and willingness to answer any and all questions. Summit was able to meet all requests we had (e.g. shark carved watermelon, select vegan options) and provided us with various options for every aspect of our wedding. Dory and Joe relieved any stresses we had and made our contract process a breeze, not to mention the food is out of this WORLD! What can I say about Summit!! They are absolutely the best team we could have asked for for our wedding day!! My (new) husband and I actually had another caterer booked when unfortunately they fell through! Well Summit came to our rescue! Immediately the next day I was on the phone with Eric and Dory figuring out our next steps! Without meeting them in person, we decided to book them that weekend! From their amazing pricing, to the awesome wedding packages, to the dessert parade how could we say no! To top it all off, Dory took the time to call us while she was on the way to Europe for vacation! I think she was about to get on the plane when she called. I mean just amazing! Eric was calling and texting and making sure everything was still ok at our venue. I mean this team was just so on top of everything to make sure that our day could still happen the way that we wanted it. Every step of the way the Summit team was just so on top of everything! The tasting went so smoothly and our final meetings were just so easy. They helped to set up our ceremony and reception so beautifully and followed our instructions for our handmade decorations so perfectly. They even provided so many beautiful flowers and adorable signs to complete our rustic decor! Not to mention, they even let me saber a bottle of champagne to kick off the reception. And how can I forget the food! It was so delicious! All the hors d’oeuvres were si cute and delicious! The entrees were wonderful! We got to taste all of them! And that dessert parade truly lived up to the hype! We are still getting compliments on the food! With the help of our Maitre’D Teresa and our bridal assistant Hailey everything went so smoothly the day of! They were there with anything we needed! Needless to say, this company is truly one of a kind! Just outstanding. We couldn’t have been happier! I highly recommend Dory, Eric and the rest of the Summit team! Andrew and I thank you so much!

My husband Zach and I had such a wonderful experience with everyone at Summit! I knew from the moment I spoke with Dory that this was the caterer we should go with. Dory is extremely professional, organized, helpful and above all she genuinely CARES! She took the time to get to know my husband and I and our families and what we wanted for our special day. Her and Eric were always accessible and available for the many questions we had throughout the process. Our day was absolute perfection because of Summit, our guests were raving about the food and presentation from start to finish!! We could not have been happier with the level of service and attention we received from the first time we spoke with Dory until the end of the reception. You all are the best!! <3 Jamie & Zach

There is probably no one better than Eric Knowles and the folks at Summit Caterers. With very little clue about where to begin, Eric helped explain everything to us in a professional but honest manner that helped us make the best decisions. With both of us living and working in New York City, Eric made it easy for us to plan out our wedding reception despite the distance. Any time we had a question for Eric, large or small, he promptly got back to us with his friendly touch. Eric went above and beyond for us, backed by his incredible staff at Summit. The food was incredible. We got a ton of compliments about everyone's entrees, from the Prime Rib to the Shrimp with Crab, and with all the perfectly paired side dishes in between. The fact that we were able to select our own personal entrees (Steak with Lobster Tail!) was an awesome treat. There were so many appetizer options for cocktail hour and there was never a shortage of food. The cake was delicious but obviously the dessert parade was a huge hit, and was an extremely unique feature that our guests really enjoyed. Our Maitre D', Teresa Johnson, was an incredible host for our big day and made sure everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The staff for the entire event was amazing and took great care of us, our family and our friends. Look no further than Summit Caterers for your perfect wedding reception. The entire staff treated us so well and made the entire process easy and stress free for us and our families. Thanks Summit!

Summit catered my daughter’s wedding on Saturday, November 18, 2017. The day exceeded all of our expectations. You couldn’t find a better caterer to work with. Dory and her staff work tirelessly to bring your vision to life. There isn’t a task too big for them to tackle. I never worried about anything because I knew it was taken care of. Everything from start to finish was perfection! The food was outstanding!! And arrived to each guest with personal attention. The staff was pleasant and always available. Dory& Hubby, Eric, Teresa & Betty you’re the best!! You gave us the wedding of our dreams.

Eric, Dory, Teresa, and the rest of the summit catering team were amazing! They were so helpful with the planning process and made sure our day went by so smoothly. We even had Dory officiate our wedding and she did an INCREDIBLE job. The entire team is so sweet and works really well together. Not to mention that their options are affordable and the food was great. They also provided us with an amazing DJ over at Time Productions! I can not express enough how pleased I am with our choice to use Summit Catering for our wedding. Not only were the food and desserts delicious, but their service and professionalism were impeccable. Right from the start, Eric was able to answer any and all questions I had about anything. He helped me with my wedding invitations and reception cards and much much more. Dory , the owner, and Tori, our maitre d, and the staff were there for us throughout the whole reception helping us with anything we needed and wanted. They were sociable and professional and heard all good things from our guests. Our glasses were never empty and the food just kept coming. I've heard from other married couples that they didn't have time to enjoy their reception, but my new hubby and I enjoyed every minute and we owe most of that to Summit! Thank you for making our special day everything we hoped it would be and more.

Let me start off by saying, 10 years ago, I worked for Summit Catering. I knew then that when I got married, I wanted to use Summit Catering. Flash forward, I am SO GLAD I DID. Dory, Joe, Eric, Betty, and the Summit team made our day everything we wanted it to be and more. From the décor, to the lighting, to the food (TOP NOTCH), our guests were raving all night long how amazing everything was. I commonly heard how brides and grooms didn't even taste their own wedding food, and that was NOT the case with Summit. Betty and Nicole made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night long (we were actually full from all the food!). We can't thank Summit enough for making our dream wedding a reality. If you want top notch service and finger licking good food, Summit is the way to go.
PS, get the mac and cheese bar, you'll thank me later :)

Summit Catering is Unbelievable! My family and I had the best experience with every single person that works for this amazing company. My husband and I renewed our vows at Trotta Trails in Chatsworth and combined it with a birthday party for my 4 year old son. Summit Catering went above and beyond for us from giving us an Americana style menu to go with our theme, table decorations (which I was not expecting) that just made everything look even better then I could of ever imagined, sending us the best staff for our big day, Betty our MD was so tentative and on top of everything, Tori was our personal server (she was just the cutest!) the owners 2 sons and daughter were there working so hard and they were so respectful and professional. Dory and her husband were so easy to work with my husband and I live in Texas and despite the distance, I felt confident and comfortable with what they had planned. The food was FANTASTIC the cocktail hour omg I dream about those hor'dorves, the mac and cheese bar was a HUGE hit!!!! Not only did they help with catering they connected us with a great dj, tent company, and got us the coolest port a potty that was probably one of the biggest hits of the party, we have never see anything like it. They are a full service company and you can not go wrong with using them! Thank you again Summit Catering you were fantastic, and can't wait to work with you again!

There are no words to describe how much of a wonderful job Summit Catering does for weddings. We could not be happier with everything the team did leading up to the wedding and during the wedding. We were married at the Valenzano Winery in June 2017. Eric & Dory worked with us throughout the planning process to make sure that everything was planned how we wanted it to be and executed it beautifully the day of the wedding. The food was absolutely incredible with a wide variety of choices for both the cocktail hour and main course meal. We even had a popcorn machine as guests were leaving to take as a favor home. Guests are still raving over all of the food options that we had, as well as, all the small details of the day. We also had our ceremony at Valenzano Winery, which ran smoothly thanks to the help of Eric and his wonderful staff at Summit. Not only is the service impeccable, but also the relationships that the staff at Summit form with the couple is not to go unnoticed. They are down to earth, friendly, and truly care about the couple. Summit Catering is hands down the best in the business and we would highly recommend them to any future couple.

Amazing catering company. Flexible with our budget by creating a custom package, kind, friendly. The staff at the wedding was professional and SINCERE!! We didn't have to worry about a thing, as Summit made sure everything ran so smoothly.

The food was MOST delicious and consistent with the tasting. The only regret you may have is NOT using Summit Catering!!!

I truly don't think there is anything that Summit could have done to make our wedding more perfect! We had our wedding at Valenzanos Winery and it was catering by Summit in November 2016. From the beginning when we first met with them until correspondence even after our wedding, all our interactions with them have been perfect. Every detail was covered by Summit and I felt completely at ease and confident in their professionalism and knowledge. From the get go, with all my inquiries and emails back and forth they were quick and detailed to respond. The day of, their staff was professional, attentive and the food was delicious! We had such variety from cocktail hour to dinner and the dessert parade was amazing. I work in the food industry and my coworkers are strong critics and everyone had nothing but compliments about the food.

There is doing your job and then there is going above and beyond. Dory and the Summit staff truly care and have a relationship with their couples. Every little detail even with them matching their flowers on the catering tables to my wedding flowers and color scheme they took care of. I would recommend Summit to anyone and if we had to do it all over again, they would be the first vendor we would pick time and time again!

Dory, Joe, Betty,Eric,Betty's daughter (I'm her super fan she was awesome)and let's not forget super Tori and the rest or the staff from Summit catering they are the best.l I can't praise them enough for how they handled our wedding from start to finish. Dory is there to help you the whole way thru with all your needs from venue to colors when to send out the invitation to when to pick up your marriage license if that's not start to finish I don't know what is. Dory and her staff made it so easy for us on our wedding day that every one of my guests praised them not one complaint and that doesn't happen in my family if you know what I mean. They took just as much pride and care as I would have setting up the venue for our wedding which they did an amazing job as If I did it myself. They made our wedding so very special and the best it could ever be . I can't praise them enough for what they did for us on our wedding day . Food was fantastic from appetizers to the main course and the dessert parade was amazing not to mention all the food and drinks were plentiful. The staff were super polite and super helpful.Our guest were treated as if they were the couple which I appreciated.The DJ , photo booth attendants and bar tenders were also super. Summit catering is top notch. I'm sure if you pick them you won't and cant go wrong and you won't be sorry . I've never seen anyone care as much as they do to make your special day even more special if that could even happen they will try. They put their heart and soul into their business which is rare these days .I just would like to say to Dory and the staff at Summit catering. I am writing this review again as I am not sure it came through. We were so very pleased with Dory and her staff's attention to every detail for my daughter's wedding in May. The food, the service, and the professional and caring attention went above and beyond. They thought of every possible scenario and had all plans in place in the event of any change. I've always known I wanted to get married at Valenzano Winery. The next step was to decide on a caterer, as Valenzano has several caterers that operate out of their event space. We met with a few of the different caterers, and instantly fell in love with Summit. Eric was amazing, so responsive and accommodating and we could tell he genuinely wanted us to be happy. Eric and Dory answered every question we had, showed endless patience, and were so friendly and helpful. Every time we went to Valenzano for a meeting we we're so well taken care of - even when we're just there to relax and have a glass of wine Eric would always stop by and chat with us. Summit is a small, family owned company and it shows, they take amazing care of their couples and I can't say enough about how happy we were to work with them. The food was amazing, all my guests kept telling me how delicious everything was and how attentive and friendly the staff were. Betty and Eric took great care of my wedding party on the day of, and made everything smooth and easy! The only comment I have is that because they are a small company, it’s easy to feel nickeled-and-dimed. Larger companies can throw in lots of “bonuses” for free, but smaller companies have to be more cautious. There were several times working with Summit that they’d charge extra for things (i.e., if I wanted to use their card box, or needed additional large tables), which could be a little frustrating. Even knowing that though, I would still use them if I could do it over, and overall found working with Summit to be an amazing experience.

My Husband and I had an amazing experience with Summit Catering for our June wedding. I could not imagine the service could get better than Summit. Their team is professional, organized, fun, helpful.. I could go on and on. I wish we could "re-do" our wedding because it was so perfect I want to re-live it again! Summit helped keep me on track during my planning process, but was also so flexible and helpful in helping me execute my creative ideas.

i must say that our daughter's wedding was indeed the PERFECT wedding and it really all came together because of Summit Catering! By the time I contacted them we had the venue, florist and DJ. We needed a caterer that could make our vision of a Downton Abbey themed wedding come true.

The first phone call was with Eric. I explained to him that we barely had three months to put together a wedding for around 300 guests. Within a few days we were sitting down at a table at Summits office that had been set in the wedding colors (there were other linen samples too). Then the food tasting began. We knew right away that their chef was extremely talented. It was hard to choose the menu - so many great selections.

Dory listened to our vision for the wedding day - she made great recommendations and the caterering plan evolved. Attention to detail is VERY important to us and to Summit. Dory is so organized - nothing was left to chance.

Our guests loved cocktail hour. We added the Mac and cheese bar and the slider bar. Presentation of the food was amazing! The food stations were decorated by Summit to coordinate with our other floral decorations. We even added tablecloths, bows and candles to the high top tables for cocktail hour. We upgraded the chairs to chiavari - when Eric found out chiavari chairs were available for the high top tables he called me right away. He knew we would want everything to match! THEY LISTEN!

Betty and Teresa were our maitre d's. They kept everything on track. The wait staff were very courteous and very attentive. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was, the amount and variety. Everyone loved the dessert parade and loved the tasty kakes and Philly pretzels to take home.

The wedding was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Did I mention the 40+ Woodland String Band members that played were amazing too!

We will HIGHLY recommend Summit Catering!

Hands down the best! I kid you not they saved my from catering hell! I am not the kind of person to sugar coat anything.. dory was amazing. She even helps you with your invitations! Everyone at my wedding was raving about how delicious the food was and I come from a large itialian family! The thing everyone always talks about is the food and if you want your guest to leave and say it was amazing and the best wedding food they have ever had pick summit. Dory is professional and so is her staff! Betty was awesome too! She made sure I was happy and had everything I needed! If I had to do it again I would always pick summit!

Dory was amazing - I'm sure I was a pain but she helped with every aspect of our wedding - from our venue issues to our bakery issues - she handled all of it! The food was superb, the service was lovely - and Betty, our maitre d, was a life saver! I wouldn't have chosen anyone else. This was the priciest part of our wedding, but well worth it, because they took care of everything, from decor, to full serviced bar, candy bar, and we even had our own personal attendant the day of.

We made an excellent choice by going with Summit Catering. Our wedding at Valenzano Winery last Friday was amazing! Our guests were blown away by the cocktail hour and the the number of delicious appetizers we had. The grilled cheese and tomato soup and bacon wrapped scallops were a hit- as were the other tasty apps we had. Guests also asked about our catering because they were so impressed by dinner. Many members had never had steak at a wedding that was cooked to perfection! The desert entertainment was also a huge success and blew everyone away. My sister was excited to have warm cookies and my grandmother talked about her hot fudge sundae.I know that Summit made out reception the success that it was. The whole night was perfect- we could not have had a more memorable and magical wedding. Justin and I are so happy that our wedding turned out beyond our expectations. Thank you so much Dory and Katie for making our night go smoothly! Katie did an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly the day of and taking care of us. Thank you all again for making our wedding unforgettable! Beautiful venue and outstanding food. Dory and her team at Summit Catering (Betty and the rest of her fantastic crew!) by far exceeded our expectations on our wedding day, which was Saturday October 10th, 2015. Dory from the very start was not only encouraging but, made the process so much simpler than I could ever imagine! Working with Summit Catering has been like getting support from another family. Everyone we've worked with has been extremely gracious and patient with us, especially since my husband and I were not experienced party planners. From the first meeting, Dory and her staff made us feel welcomed.The entire wedding planning process was organized and seemless thanks to Dory's guidance.

Even despite the threat of a hurricane, the entire staff (EVERYONE. Seriously, from bartender to waitstaff) was in good humors and worked like a well-oiled team. The food was highly praised, and for couples who are looking around, expect to have a few cars to help you out at the end of the night, because you get all the delicious leftovers.

I have to be honest with you, when it comes to Summit Catering and Dory, I am left speechless... I first contacted Dory in the early part of spring. I was looking for catering for a small wedding at our church in September. I just needed hot and cold appetizers since my girlfriend was making my cake and some sweets for a desert table. Well in between the time of our first meeting and getting together to put all arrangements together, my future husband was diagnosed with a rare and progressive cancer. Needless to say, I was a mess. I could hardly think of putting together a wedding and that's when Dory stepped in. She is A M A Z I N G! She took care of EVERYTHING. She told me to just concentrate on getting my fiancee well and she would do the rest. It still blows my mind how wonderful everything turned out that day. Every detail was taken care of, they even set up and decorated my desert table. The servers, Kirsten and Michael could not do enough for me, they were wonderful! All I had to do that day was show up and enjoy the most important day of my life. My guests were astonished at the spread and how delicious everything tasted, and I have to admit, I was even a little skeptical that my guests would have enough to eat, since it was at 5 O'clock, but they had more than their fill!
There are no words that can express my gratitude to Dory and the Summit crew.
And on an even happier note, my husband is now cancer free! Praise the Lord!

We used Summit Catering for my daughter's wedding reception. From the moment we met with Dory for our initial consultation, we KNEW Summit Catering was the one for us! Dory is incredible and we were completely sold on Dory as the person who would be able to bring all of Stephanie & Tom's wedding reception visions to life. It was great working with Dory, planning all the details for the cocktail hour and reception, we had no doubt that this reception would be wonderful. The only thing is, we didn't realize exactly just how wonderful it would actually be. Everything was amazing! The way the tables were fixed and arranged, the way the room(s) were set up and decorated, the way the cake was presented... all were so much more beautiful than we had ever imagined. And the food!!!! Everyone was talking about how exceptional the food was! From the endless array of appetizers to the incredible dinner entree's to that fabulous dessert parade (our guests all raved over the dessert parade) -- it was all so spectacular. Even though all the items on our wish list were exceeded, and everything was awesome, the staff is what truly brought this experience to an even higher level. The service was A M A Z I N G!!! The staff made it clear that they were there to provide us and our guests with the absolute best experience possible. Above and beyond - or should I say ABOVE above and beyond! And we can't forget to mention the DJ... Tom was fantastic! Our guests partied on the dance floor the entire evening!! He was truly the life of the party! What more can I say, we were THRILLED with everything! And so thankful to Dory and the Summit Catering staff!!!!!!!!!

Wow, where do I begin? Dory is AWESOME. She is on top of every little detail and was so helpful throughout the process (we had no clue what we were doing!) Little things like getting our marriage license, when to send out invitations... we could rely on Dory to guide us. Our wedding was held at Moorestown Community House and both our families and guests were just floored by Summit's services. Erika, our Maitre'd was fabulous, as was Rose who make sure my husband and I were always well-taken care of during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Bartenders and servers were all so pleasant and amazing.

Our guests are still raving about how much FUN they had at our wedding and we can absolutely say it was the best day EVER! From the cake (provided by DiBartolo's Bakery who is paired with Summit) to the decor that Summit helps provide and set up - it was all just amazing. The day absolutely exceeded any expectations we had about our big day. Thank you SO much Dory and Summit Catering for making everything so perfect.

What can we say about Dory and Summit Catering…When we first met Dory in June 2014, there was an instant connection. She genuinely cares about her couples and takes tremendous pride in her services. She just seemed to get our style and knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding. Needless to say, the wedding reception she gave us, at Valenzano Winery far exceeded our expectations. Everything from the rustic decor to the food was a big hit with our guests. The staff was incredible! Betty was our maitre d', and she did an incredible job. Like Dory, she was extremely likable and treated us like family.

Summit offers a "full service" wedding reception and Dory will provide you with a great list of vendors to help fulfill your needs for the perfect reception. Dory was with us in every part of planning our reception. Her creativity along with her open-minded attitude towards our style made planning and preparing for our wedding much easier than we expected, and it never seemed to burden us.

I can't say enough about Summit Catering! I can't imagine another catering service who can compare to them…if you're planning a wedding, do yourself the favor and consider Summit. We can't wait to hire them in the future!

The best in the business! Summit Catering gets every ounce of credit for making our wedding reception PERFECT. After our first meeting with Dory, we could tell that this family owned and operated business was who we wanted to work with. Dory and the staff have an amazing attention to detail - to the point that my now husband commented to me "I think they are even more on-the-ball than even you are!" - which says a lot about this Type A Jersey girl. Dory's experience and expertise helped to make planning a wedding from afar as easy as it can be.

Betty (maitre'd), Dani (our designated staff), and Kathy (my parent's designated staff) were the key people we interacted with on the day of the wedding. They felt like family and made sure to keep the food and drinks flowing, the party going, and everyone having a great time. Any issue that could have arisen was promptly handled and they did a great job of keeping those off my radar - much appreciated so I could enjoy the evening!

We are getting so many compliments from the guests on the food, venue, and service. I HIGHLY recommend Summit Catering to any bride looking to get married in the South Jersey area, especially at Valenzano.

We could not have planned a wedding without the help of Dory at Summit Catering. From start to finish, we were wow by their professionalism, organization, responsiveness, and willingness to help with ANYTHING we needed. We truly enjoyed every bit of our wedding and owe it to Dory and her team. We have nothing but amazing things to remember from our day, and nothing but great feedback from our guests as well. Dory and her team, including Betty (our Maitre 'd) made the planning process and the actual day of our wedding so much easier for us! We wish we could have our reception every weekend! I would recommend Summit Catering to anyone and cannot wait to have another big event.

Twelve years ago Summit Catering catered our wedding, to which the professionalism, set up, food, and all around service was out of this world. Summit Catering made that day BEAUTIFUL! So I called on Summit Catering again to help aide me in giving my wife a surprise party. Again Summit Catering separated themselves from everyone else. I would like to THANK Summit Catering for making my Wife's surprise birthday party an event we will never forget. If you are looking for a catering service who treats everyone like family with great pricing, food, and all around humbleness Summit Catering is your place!!!! I can't say enough about Summit Catering and their staff!!!!

Summit provided the catering for my daughter's bridal shower at the Valenzano Wine House on June 14, 2015. WOW!!!!! It was absolutely spectacular!!! I wanted an elegant affair and Dory sure did deliver. Everything, and I mean everything, exceeded my expectations. Both the guests and I marveled at every detail -- from the decor to the the amazing food to the spectacular help. I wanted my daughter's shower to be an elegant affair and it was by far the most elegant shower that I ever attended. My daughter felt the same way. The attention to detail that Dory has mastered is absolutely amazing. I will never forget and will always be grateful for how she made this day so special for me and my daughter. She is the absolute best.

Working with Summit Catering was an amazing experience. They catered my sister's wedding at the Collingswood Grand Ballroom in 2007, so I knew I wanted to choose them as soon as I got engaged. We booked the Moorestown Community House and the entire wedding planning process was wonderful - from taste testing to the final meeting! They gave us real and honest advice when we asked for it, and made sure everything was perfect.

Our wedding day was surreal and awesome, and a lot of that is because we knew every last detail was taken care of by Dory and her staff. The venue looked amazing, the guests were happy the whole night, the timeline of the night was seamless, and we wouldn't change a thing. The FOOD was out of this world! I wish I had a dollar for every time someone told me how much they loved the food! People are still talking about it 3 weeks later.

We loved how our maître d' Celeste took charge when needed - she had to get the rowdy wedding party lined up for introductions, and came to us with any questions - like deciding not to throw the bouquet because we were having too much fun on the dance floor to stop the party!

Also, Courtney was sweet and brought us water and hors d'oeuvres in the bridal suite, and the other servers were wonderful with the guests. Everyone was impressed!

I was so happy with Summit Catering, and look forward to using them for events in the future!

Extremely helpful in all aspects of planning the wedding, even in areas they were not responsible for. Found solutions to all issues in great time and in great detail, which there were only 2 minor hiccups during the whole event. They took great care of us and our guests and made sure everything was on schedule and done correctly. They are serious professionals in the business. We threw some new ideas that they haven't done before that we wanted for our wedding and they executed them perfectly and without fuss, even taking our ideas further to make them better, and they were excited to try our out-of-the-box ideas. The event planning was AMAZING(!!), not just for a "catering" company, their planning and attention to detail was seriously top-notch!! Not to even mention their food.. their food was AWESOME! There was sooo much food of all different types. Everyone at our wedding kept coming up to us throughout the night telling us this was the best wedding they have ever been to and that the food was delicious!
We can't thank everyone at Summit Catering enough, all of the staff was fantastic and on-point! You will not be disappointed! They were AMAZING!!

Summit Catering played a HUGE part in making our wedding the best night of our lives!

Getting married in New Jersey while planning the wedding from Dubai was no easy task. I had very limited time in New Jersey before our big day and Dory & her team at Summit always made everything simple, streamlined, easy, and flexible for me! Dory was able to consolidate meetings, tastings, run throughs, and anything else you can name into such a short window of time. She is so easy to work with and super responsive... its almost like she knows what you are going to ask before you ask it! I am a self-proclaimed control freak living half a world away and she couldn't have made this entire experiance any easier for me! Thanks Dory for saving my sanity and putting me at ease :)

Summit was my one stop shop for not only catering but flawless wedding coordination. The whole team (big shout out to Teresa & Danielle - ANGELS on earth!) far surpassed my expectations (and all other amazing reviews) on the day of. Teresa - our maitre’d who ran our wedding day did a flawless job in helping us execute the ceremony, set up of the room, and oversaw the entire night went above and beyond for us and our guests. Not to mention she is SO patient! We also had Danielle as our designated server who made sure we had plenty of food & drinks throughout the night. My Dad is still raving about how every time he turned around there she was with another beer for him haha! Honestly, my whole family and my maid of honor raved about Teresa and Danielle the entire night. They were there for us in countless ways and really helped the night go off without a hitch... and if there was a hitch I didn't know about it because of them :)

Family and guests are STILL raving about the food and service over a week later. Everyone is especially caught up on cocktail hour, the flatiron steak, and the entire dessert room... What more could I ask for?! Thank you Summit for everything!

Summit Catering made all our dreams come true. We couldn't have been happier with the choice of Summit Catering- everything was WONDERFUL- they literally took my breath away with the set up of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Everyone RAVED about the venue (Valenzano Winery) and the food.

Dory is an AMAZING WOMAN who truly cares about her clients. She is very KNOWLEDGEABLE and pays attention to every last detail.

Dory was the officiant of our Ceremony and she did an phenomenal job- she made the ceremony personal and spoke from the heart.

Dory and her husband Joe are very lucky to have such great staff.

Betty was our Maitre'd who we fell in love with the day we met her to look at Valenzano Winery- our Wedding Day was PERFECT because of her.

This day will be marked as the best day of our lives.

Summit made my day absolutely perfect! I got nothing but outstanding reviews from my guests about the food, and professionalism of the staff. I am the maid of honor in my sister's wedding and we used Summit Catering for our bridal shower held at Valenzano Winery in November 2014. I could not have been more impressed. The woman who help coordinate everything beforehand, Dory, made it so easy and thought of everything that I didn't. Then once we had our event, they were very personable and accomodating making the whole event run smoothly. So much less stressful! I was very impressed and would definitely use them again!
