We are overjoyed that we picked Stephany as our photographer! She really listened to our input and perfectly captured what we desired. It was a pleasure to work with her and she made everything feel entirely natural and comfortable. Not to mention that her photos are breathtaking. She was a pleasure to work with, we felt like we could be our goofy selves around her, and she captured that essence on camera. Couldn’t be happier!
When we first booked Sissy, I knew she would be a phenomenal photographer, but she far exceeded those expectations. Even if the photos weren’t as expected (they are better than I expected), her calm demeanor, professionalism and positive attitude were top notch. We couldn’t be more pleased. So much fun!
Stephany made our wedding photos feel effortless and fun and perfectly captured the soft, romantic, timeless feel we were going for. Amazing and Sweet Photographer
Stephany was so amazing and went above and beyond for us!! We had a slight hiccup with the weather and she accommodated!! Our wedding was a destination wedding and our whole view of the mountains got ruined by the fog, so Stephany came through and found another location for us to get our mountain view pictures done after our ceremony! I will be using her when we visit East Tennessee in the future! She also sent over our sneak peeks within 24 hours and I couldn't believe how amazing they turned out!

Knoxville's very best photographer!
Sissy is an absolute joy to work with! She’s warm, communicative, and creative—and captured our wedding flawlessly. I also appreciate Sissy’s inclusivity; one of the first questions she asked on our initial planning call is if there are any family dynamics she should be aware of (divorced parents, etc.). As a child of divorced parents, I especially appreciated this attention to detail and willingness to ensure smooth dynamics on our wedding day. Sissy also has a unique gift of making you feel 100% comfortable both on and off-camera. She added a calm presence behind the scenes at our wedding and made taking pictures a blast (hard to do for a couple who doesn't enjoy having pictures taken!). My husband and I live out of state but plan to travel to Tennessee to have future milestones captured by Sissy because she’s just that spectacular. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Working with Stephany for my wedding was absolutely wonderful. She was one of the first photographers I reached out to when I got engaged and as soon as I spoke with her, I immediately knew she was the perfect photographer for us. Sissy is so sweet and relaxed, that it helps you relax when taking photos. She was open to the types of poses and aesthetic we were after and even researched and had references with her from my Pinterest board so we could capture those photos. She brings a darker edit, which we wanted. Our venue was indoors and you couldn't tell at all. She captured the lighting perfectly! Our engagement photos were also wonderful. I didn't expect to have so many favorites but it's hard not too with how good she is. If you are able to get her booked - I would do so. LOVE! 10/5 stars!!

So happy to have had Sissy as our photographer at our wedding. I booked her based on a recommendation from my best friend who also has a background in coordinating weddings. She did our engagement photos (which turned out great) and we saw then that she would definitely be able to capture not just beautiful pictures, but also our personalities in the photos as well. As a couple that is nervous around a camera, we were nervous about getting photos done... we SO didn't have to be. Sissy is amazing !!! We had so much fun during our engagement shoot and the pictures came out so good! On the day of the wedding, she helped us every step of the way (especially sticking to the schedule which helped lower my stress about the day!). We got our previews less than 24 hours after the wedding and we are just so excited to see the rest of the album. The perfect photographer for any occasion
Prior to meeting Stephany, I knew two things I really liked her website and her photogrpahic "style". After meeting her, well, she is EVERYTHING. I instantly felt comfortable with her and I felt she really listened to all of the details we had discussed prior to the event. For example, I said I wanted some non-traditional photos in the woods to really capture the beauty of the great smoky mountains and she delivered with the space available. She went above and beyond to capture our day and the wonderful people who attended. I can not recommend her enough if you want a truly comfortable, professional, and personalized experience!

Sissy of Sullivan Photography is amazing! She is so patient and kind. We had our 9 grandchildren (ages 2 to 12) in our wedding. She had no trouble at all getting our 18 month old & 4 yr old to look at the camera, smile, & have fun during the wedding! We also felt very comfortable with her during our couples pictures. Everyone at our wedding complimented her & said she took tons of pictures & made everyone feel comfortable. We had pages & pages of pictures after the wedding & the turnaround was super fast & they all looked amazing! Sullivan Photography was one of the best vendor choices we made for our wedding. Stephany was responsive, respectful, and guided us through our photo session with ease. She helped make every "shot" that we wanted a reality. Having two photographers was great because while we were doing our couples and family photoshoots, the second photographer was taking pictures of our other guests during cocktail hour. Stephany was ABSOLUTELY the best photographer. She was very attentive to detail and made sure I got every shot I wanted! She's a sweetheart and I didn't really even notice she was there! Stephany Sullivan and her assistant are amazing photographers! I loved working with them and adore all of my wedding photos. She took time to understand what I wanted and visited my venue (an hour away from Knoxville) in advance to get comfortable with the venue and pick photo shoot areas. She took direction from me on what I wanted the photos to look like and what kind of editing I preferred. She takes unbelievable photos and provides supreme value compared to some of the other photographers in the area. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HER TEAM! Thanks Stephany!

We are so happy we went with Sullivan Photography! Stephany made us feel so comfortable throughout the engagement session and on our wedding day. Choosing Stephany was one of the best choices we made for the wedding! She was so friendly and helpful and had great ideas. She was responsive via email and phone and a great resource during wedding planning. We chose her because she seems to capture "real" people - not frozen model poses! The results were stunning. She also was completely on top of our (complicated) wedding day weather and ready to adjust as needed. And last but not least, her rates are very fair, if not generous, and absolutely worth it. I would use her again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Stephany with Sullivan Photography!! Planning a wedding was stressful, but Stephany has a gift of bringing a sense of peace to the process. Photography was the one aspect in the wedding planning process that I never felt stressed about thanks to Stephany and her professionalism. She was so easy and pleasant to work with, and she took the time to visualize what we wanted for our engagement/wedding experience. Stephany was AMAZING to work with! I planned our wedding from across the country and she helped make it a lot easier. She went above and beyond her photographer duties and even helped me to find a makeup artist last minute after a bad experience. Stephany and her assistant helped to coordinate how the day went and took the stress off of me. They went as far as taking my heels off and putting other shoes on me when my feet hurt and I couldn't reach. She even made sure I got all the pictures I wanted by going through my Pinterest board. The pictures are beautiful! I recommend Sullivan Photography to anyone who needs any type of pictures!

Stephany's pictures she took of my wedding and also the engagement session we had with her were amazing!!! She is so easy to work with and listens to what the bride wants and go with it. I didn't really have anything in particular in mind and that was no problem with Stephany. She new exactly what would look great and she really captured how special that day was! She was also very easy to talk to and joke around with. That made all the pictures alot more natural! I will cherish the pictures she took for us forever! Stephany truly was the best photographer. I've been to a few weddings where the photographer kept the bride from enjoying her reception or was all over the place making the guests uncomfortable and distracting them from ceremony however This is NOT the case with Sullivan photohraphy. She was so laid back low key and got every single amazing shot.. My groom and I were both running behind for our first look and she stepped right in helped me even button my dress and very calmly got all of our "first look" photos and tons before the reception. She did not Rush or once get flustered and the wedding started as planned. She is a a down to earth person and has an amazing personality which made our big day a breeze.. Her work proves she is great at what she does. I don't live in tennessee but I will be back to have her take more photos in the future when we have an addition to our family. I've seen her photo sessions of little ones and they are amazing as well. Recommend her to anyone. Pictures are worth a thousand words and when looking at the amazing photos she captured of my wedding I was speechless

I have been in several wedding parties and I have worked with different photographers who make picture taking a stressful process. I have also been in several weddings where Sissy was the photographer and every time she makes the entire day so enjoyable, low-key and just an over all great experience.
I decided to use Sissy for my wedding and she was such a joy to work with! She really wants to know what the couple wants and caters to the families and all those involved. She has such a positive and loving personality that makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed during the busy, busy wedding day.
Not only does she create such a positive and fun experience the day of and through the entire planning/ engagement process, her pictures are beautiful and amazing quality! Also, compared to competitors, Sissy's prices and packages are very reasonable and are lower than other photographers in this area. I will continue to use Sissy for any and all family photos from here on out!

My friends and family raved about how great she was! And to be honest....the only "problem" I have....is trying to narrow down what pictures I want in my coffee table book! There are so many perfect ones, that my husband and I can't agree on which ones are "must haves"! If you want to be 150% satisfied from beginning to end....Sullivan Photography is THE best choice!

Stephany and her assistant were amazing to my groom and I on the most important day of our lives. She met with us several times before the actual day and was extremely flexible in pricing and what our package could include. She was not pushy or bossy and by the end of the night, we kind of forgot they were there which resulted in some amazing pictures. We were more than happy with the shots she got from both the ceremony and the reception and we've gotten lots of compliments. She was so great that my sister-in-law (who was a bridesmaid) has since had her take family pictures and newborn pictures and my best friend (who was also a bridesmaid) is using Sullivan Photography for her wedding in November!

Stephany Sullivan made our wedding a dream come true. She was not only the perfect photographer, but she was an amazing friend to have during such a busy time. She even taught us how to cut the cake during the reception! Her photography captured every moment, even the behind the scenes stuff that my entire family treasures so much. I highly recommend using Stephany of Sullivan Photography for your wedding pictures and any other photo needs! She was so easy to work with from start to finish! Allllllllll of my pictures came out so beautiful that I'm having a hard time choosing which ones to enlarge!! :-) My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with her....and if we had to do it all again, Sullivan Photography would be our ONLY choice for a photographer!

Sullivan Photography has done our pictures for several years. She did our engagement pictures, bridal pictures, wedding, our twins' pictures from 3 months up until the most recent 2 years pictures. She is great! She is very flexible with us and will meet us anywhere we want. She is so patient with our twins, who are moving non-stop...and REALLY hard to capture in a god picture. She is great. We always LOVE our pictures!

There just isnt enough kind words to describe Stephany! From the first meeting all the way to the very end of the wedding, she was the most sweetest and nicest person to work with. We lived about 4 hours away from where we was getting married and Stephany was very flexible with us and really easy to schedule with. She makes taking photos easy. She doesn't have you do awkward poses its all natural and she just makes sure ever thing flows easy. You can tell she really loves and enjoys what she does. It really shows in her work. Our wedding was out side and super hot but not once did she have one complaint about needing to take a break or anything. she is a very hard worker and really organized. and thats what really counts because on the big day there is so much going on and everyone running around, and you have Stephany calm as can be gathering the people she needs for the photos, and making sure she captures every memory. And she is very reasonably priced for the quality of work, and her talent in photography and making the photo books and cd and everything she offers is top of the line products. She makes you feel like you have been friends with her for years lol and her second photographer was just as an amazing and sweet.. it was truly a pleasure to have Stephany to be apart of our wedding... i could go on and on about Stephany and her amazing work but i can say this, You will not be disappointed one single bit for chosing Stephany and there wont be a memory gone uncaptured!! We will defiantly make the 4 hour drive to have her do more of our photos...Thank you so much Stepany

Stephanie photographed my wedding in 2004 when she first started her career. Since then she has captured every life moment with me and my children throughout the past 9 years and she has always exceeded my expectations! I have referred many friends to her that have also had their expectations exceeded. You will definitely not want any other photographer once you have worked with her! She is amazing!

When planning my wedding finding an excellent photographer was on the top of the list. The venue suggested a few photographers and I researched quite a few more online. When I came across Stephay's pictures I knew she would be perfect!! Her pictures are full of personality and creativity. She combines just enough of the wedding traditions and creativity to produce amazingly beautiful pictures. When my husband and I met with her for the first time she was very interested in learning all about us as a couple so that she would be able to capture us perfectly. I left our meeting knowing that she would do a wonderful job! Stephany is such a sweet person and is so flexible. I sent her so many fun pictures that I found online that I liked and she willing added them to the plans for the day. She was absolutely a joy to work with! On our wedding day her assistant and she were everywhere! I absolutely can't wait to see all the wonderful pictures. I would highly suggest Stephany to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the Knoxville area!!!

We loved working with Stephanie - from engagement session to rehersal and then ceremony and reception she captured everything. Always in the right place to get just the right shot but never where she stood out or was in the way like at other wedding I have been to. She captured special moments when the bride's grandparents were dancing and the sweet kiss that followed. Even photos when the bride went to kiss her grandparents good night as they were leaving. I as Mother of the bride have received my book and will always cherish being able to remember my daughter's special day through Stephanie's talents.

We booked Sullivan photography for our wedding and she worked with us from the very beginning, being so flexible to give us a customized package that worked for us. She provided our engagement pictures, wedding invitations, and even did a custom guest book for our wedding! She is so much more then just a photographer!! During our wedding she was there to help with anything we needed as well as to take a ton of gorgeous pictures! I plan to work with her in the future for any of our photography needs!

She was very professional, easy to work with, and made the pictures so much fun, not to mention she was the least expensive of any of the photographers we looked at. Stephany really listened to what we wanted to see in our pictures and they reflect who we are beautifully. She was great about picking beautiful backgrounds and taking our suggestions too. While I was already married before I found out about Sullivan Photography, we have used them for the other big events in our lives!
Sissy has been a HUGE blessing to our family. First, we had a maternity and family shoot. She was more than accommodating, allowing us plenty of time and suggesting specific poses while capturing great quality candid shots as well. She listened to our ideas and turned them into some of the most amazing photographs!
Second, we invited her into the hospital for the natural / pain med free birth of our second son. She was able to drop everything and meet us in the hospital, about an hour prior to birth. She captured the labor beautifully, and gave me pictures that truly show the relationship my husband and I have. She needed zero direction, and during something like labor, that was a GREAT thing! She never felt in the way, or like she was inhibiting the birthing process, and truly melted into the background of the hospital room while she worked. She captured the waiting room, and her pictures show every raw emotion of the family that was waiting. Minutes after birth she was right there getting very treasured shots of the first time everyone saw him, the first moments Big Brother got to meet him, and our first nursing session. I could not have asked for a better photographer for that day of my life!
And lastly (for now) we had our yearly family pictures / 6 month shots taken behind Maryville College. Once again she was able to get beautiful pictures of our family!
I'll never use anyone else again. The quality of work and the love and passion that goes into this photography business is worth far more than the price paid!
